Pizzeria Mevlana in Schwelm

I'm very disappointed, we had a Christmas celebration there today and wanted to go out for a nice meal. I had a pizza Alba, I thought chicken and pineapple could be eaten well and it wasn't that heavy on the stomach. Unfortunately I thought wrong, the pizza was soaked in oil and it tasted like nothing. I thought to myself take the good half pizza with me and make it for myself Warm again at home on my pizza stone. I kindly asked the waiter if he could please pack them for me, he answered in the affirmative and took more plates in his arm, past my plate with my pizza on it, he put more dirty plates, I told him that you don't do something like that again said very rudely yes yes and left. I was at a loss for words. There were over 18 of us leaving an excessive amount of money and the basement is extremely unfriendly. To almost all of us. One person even had to cry - that's not possible. The prices are exorbitantly high Unfriendly What more could you want if you want to go out for a really nice meal? Capi

The pizza was delicious, the service was attentive and good. As always, we felt very comfortable. We'd love to come back :)!

This is how an Italian should be! absolutely unique.

We were there with 17 people for the Christmas party. In advance, “for organizational reasons,” we were “persuaded” to get a starter plate per person for €10 They would then be prepared and the wait for the food wouldn't be so long. When we ordered, 4 plates arrived (2 m. ham and salami, and 2 m. antipasti, small bowls with a garlic spread and two tiny baguette rolls per person). This was always passed across the table so that everyone got something. After about 1.5 hours, a good half of our group got their food, the rest waited another 15 minutes (the oven would be too small). One dish had been completely forgotten and had to be recreated. There was still room for improvement in terms of taste. I myself had a salad with mayonnaise dressing, fried pieces of turkey, mushy artichokes, mushrooms, cucumbers, tomatoes, corn, etc. (Total with starter, including two drinks €26.80). Unfortunately, it was so loud in the room that it was difficult to have a conversation. Cheeky, sometimes inappropriate “funny” sayings from the boss were free. All in all, it was a negative “repeat experience” for me that has lasting memory value for me.
