A family business that runs the pizzeria with a lot of soul. It is rightly a well-attended establishment with many regular guests. I always have the feeling that I am not just a customer but really a GUEST. And anyone who appreciates good food in a pleasant atmosphere is in good hands here.

A special Italian restaurant in the church tower. In front of it there is a nice big place to sit outside. The food is very tasty there, very friendly and courteous service. We were there once in the summer when almost all the places outside were occupied. We were kindly informed that the meal would take about an hour because it was very busy at the moment. You don't experience this much sincerity everywhere. We were there with a group of 9 people and everyone was very happy.

All in all I was satisfied. I had a bit of trouble finding the entrance because there were construction fences at the front of the church that blocked the way and the view have taken away. But then the door was found on the side. The food and service were okay, the price-performance ratio was definitely right. In short: no euphoria, but if the path takes me there again, then I'll come back.

I recently ate at Pizzeria Da Angelo and overall it was a pleasant experience. The pizza was tasty, but unfortunately the ingredients were a bit sparse. The taste was convincing, but a little more topping would have made the whole thing even better. The prices are absolutely reasonable and you get good value for money. I would particularly like to highlight the friendly staff. The waiters were very warm and made us feel welcome. The restaurant is also very child-friendly, which is a big plus for families. There is enough space and the atmosphere is relaxed, so even the little ones can feel comfortable. Overall, a good place for a cozy pizza evening, especially if you value friendly service.

The menu alone is extraordinary - not just to read but also the dishes themselves. Everything is homemade and there is something for every taste. A family business with heart. And only the homemade ice cream tops it off - very often there are new creations. And if I just want delicious ice cream during the day - street sales make it possible. Always a highlight!!!

I was there for the second time on Tuesday. Ate mussels very tasty the first time and now ordered pizza and pasta with the children, husband and dog. We went spontaneously and all the larger tables were already reserved. However, the nice gentleman took the trouble to put together 2 tables for us. A child couldn't decide between Bolognese and pizza. Without further ado, it was suggested to him to simply put some Bolognese on the pizza. A highlight for our big one!! Absolutely nice service, very, very tasty food and nice ambience. We'll be back

Food, service and ambience are completely subpar. It doesn't work at all! Stay away! Then I can enjoy what is probably the best pasta in the area on my own. I could sit alone or with friends in the wonderful outdoor area and have the beautiful space to myself. I could then have the kitchen and the deeply relaxed waiter (father or son) to myself in the church tower with friends. Unfortunately word has gotten around and I have to share rooms, kitchen and staff. Maybe there are still Google users who want fast food Italian or pseudo pasta. It's nothing for you! Stay away. I guess I have to tolerate the others as food competitors at the good Italian restaurant in Lu.

Total harter Pizzaboden, auch der Belag (Viertel von hartgekochtem Ei, Artischocken, Schinken) war nicht lecker, zu wenig Käse und nicht gewürzt. Keine Empfehlung, wir haben mehr erwartet.

It looks exciting, as it is a restaurant placed in a church tower. Promising reviews included, we decided to visit on my fiancee's birthday. The staff is kind, the place is cute, but unfortunately the food is dreadful. The antipasti plate for two was pricey, and the grilled vegetables were completely cold along with the few undertoasted bread pieces. My fiance had a Porcini e Salsiccia pasta, which he said was not bad, but the Pasta Ortolana was just bland, tasteless, all in all reminding me of a school cafeteria. Unfortunately will not visit again.

We took advantage of the opportunity and were served in sunny weather between blooming oleander and olive trees. The salad was fresh, the lasagne was simply perfect, the homemade ice cream was delicious! We'd love to come back!

A unique experience dining in a former church tower. The business is family owned and driven with lovely characters making a lunch or dinner to a real adventure. Classical Italien food and fantastic ice cream. A must go in Ludwigshafen!

Die Atmosphäre in dieser alten Kirche ist einfach toll. Das Essen ist absolut lecker. Ein Besuch lohnt sich auf jeden Fall! Ich empfehle besonders die Nudelgerichte neben den fantastischen Pizzen.

Unusual location in the remains of a former church. The food here is very tasty, fairly priced and enough to fill you up. The service is friendly and attentive. We felt very comfortable.

Perfect Italian food far and wide in the area, owners father & son bring an atmosphere to the restaurant that you want, food is excellent, best bruschetta I have eaten in my life, many other dishes have already been eaten, these are also praiseworthy . I can only recommend this restaurant 100%. I love gelato.

Gluten free pasta! And the boss tries himself which varieties taste best. Stunning olive oil, wonderful service and overall: a great and entertaining evening in a surprising atmosphere. Caprese salad (bread came separately on a plate, the second one was without bread, super attentive!) and in general - the pizzas at the next table looked good enough to bite into! The homemade pasta was to die for and the gluten-free carbonara was really great. From us: 5*! Keep it up dear team. If we're in the area again, we'd love to come by again 😃👍🏻

This Italian Restaurant is a hidden gem in Ludwigshafen. Located inside an old church, it is an awesome Restaurant. Down Floor is the bar and second Floor is a Restaurant with limited number of table meaning it is not too loud and oviously pizza was great. The people who serve there are very friendly and nice. Tiramisu could have been bit better but it is absolutely a must visit Restaurant.

Die beste Pasta der Welt!! Ich bin mit den Jahren schon ganz schön rumgekommen. Nicht nur in Deutschland. Barcelona. Kapstadt. etc. Und habe wirklich gute Restaurants besucht. Aber die Pasta im Turm (so nennen wir in unserer Familie dieses Restaurant liebevoll) ist unübertroffen!! Besonders Pasta mit Meeresfrüchten, mit Gambas… Wenn ich aus Hamburg in meine alte Heinat komme, freue ich mich schon auf mindestens einen Besuch im la Torre da Angelo. Und so möchte ich endlich einmal DANKE sagen für schon so viele tolle Stunden bei euch in den letzten Jahren. Bei großen und kleinen Feiern. Oder einfach nur so, um den Tag und das Leben zu feiern!!! Mit fantastischen Vorspeisen, handgemachter frischer Pasta und Pizza, hausgemachtem, legendären Eis (das macht Angelo persönlich: Weltklasse!) Und wirklich immer immer ist eine warme, herzliche Atmosphäre inklusive! Und natürlich dazu ein, zwei Gläser vom wirklich empfehlenswerten Hauswein oder ein Spritz. Zu guter Letzt noch ganz wichtig zu wissen: im Sommer ist die Außenterrasse auf dem Lutherplatz wie ein Kurztrip in den Süden.

Beautiful ambience in the Luther Church, menu design that is presented like a picture newspaper in foil doesn't really fit into the old, venerable ambience, but the homemade pasta even more so. Not exactly cheap, but realistic prices. Highly recommended after a visit to the Palatinate building.

Schmackhafte italienische Küche a la Mama Guter, legerer, humoriger Service Ansprechendes Ambiente im Kirchturm

Super Pizza und Eis. Leider komme ich viel zu selten hier hin. Oft nur im Winter wenn man nur drinnen sitzen kann. In diesem historischen Ort hat man es geschafft auf engsten Raum eine Lokalität auf 2 Ebenen einzurichten. Im Erdgeschoss des Kirchturm ist ein Eiskaffee und im Obergeschoss ein Speise lokal eingerichtet. Die Fläche der im Krieg zerstören Kirche ist jetzt ein schön gestalteter Platz, der im Sommer als Außenbereich genutzt wird. Der Innenbereich ist durch die Begrenzung des Gebäude etwas beengt und das Interieur etwas abgenutzt, aber ist auch ein gewisser rustikaler Charme. Das Entscheidende ist das gute Essen und der freundliche Service.

Tolles Restaurant, Essen perfekt, von der Vorspeise bis zum Dessert top. Service nett und zuvorkommend. Daumen auf jeden Fall nach oben 👍

The pizzeria is located in the building of the old church, there is a bar on the ground floor, and a restaurant on the first floor. A very interesting object. The owners are Italian and you can communicate with them in Italian which is very refreshing. The service is very good, the dishes are authentic Italian. Fora to visit, the cojenes are moderate.

Hervorragende Pizza, sehr freundlicher Service und angenehme Atmosphäre in zentraler Lage. Preise sind mehr als angemessen. Sind immer wieder gerne hier.

Das Essen war wunderbar. Ich wurde überrascht mit echte italienische hochwertige Teller. Bruschetta als Vorspeise, danach Pasta al Parmiggiano direkt von das Käse Rad. Und hausgemachtes Tiramisú für ein süßes Ende.

Wir hatten einen Ballet-Abend im Pfalzbau und der Ruhetag des hervorragenden Japaners trieb uns ins "La Torre Da Angelo" - wir haben es nicht bereut! Sehr schönes Ambiente im Obergeschoss der Kirche mit verstecktem Eingang. Gute Karte, leckeres Essen und ein guter Service stimmten uns gelungen auf den Balletabend ein.

Schönes Ambiente. Die Pizzaria ist im Lutherturm ....der Turm ist der Rest der im 2. WW zerstören Lutherkirche. Im ehemaligen Kirchenschiff sind die Außenplätze. Für mich die beste Pizza weit und breit. Ein perfekt knuspriger Boden. Sehr lecker. Absolut zu empfehlen. Alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und zu späßen aufgelegt.

Für mich das beste italienische Restaurant in Ludwigshafen: Beginnend bei der einzigartigen Atmosphäre der Räumlichkeiten im Turm der ehemaligen Lutherkirche, bzw. der Freifläche im ehemaligen Kirchenschiff über die Freundlichkeit des Service bis natürlich zur Qualität der Speisen ist hier einfach alles stimmig. Ob zu zweit, mit den Kindern oder mit einer Gesellschaft, ich komme immer gerne wieder.

Leute ich hab einige Pizzerien in meinem Leben gesehen, und dort gegessen , aber die Pizza die ich dort gegessen habe --- *WOW* super Teig, toller Belag. Ich kann's euch nur empfehlen. Und das interessante Sache ist, Mittagstisch kostet die Pizza nur 8.90€ Resümee: verdammt gut und billig

Inhaber mit Herzblut und Leidenschaft für die Gastronomie. Super Service und sehr leckeres Essen. Unser Sohn (3) wurde selten so kinderfreundlich behandelt. Eine klare Empfehlung für alle die noch nicht da waren, wir waren es auch nicht zum letzten Mal 😉

Ein würdiges Lokal für diesen schönen Ort! Das Essen war super. Der Geheimtipp: Pasta gefüllt mit Apfelstrudelfüllung (Foto) war ein Traum aber auch die Vorspeisenplatte sowie die Hauptgerichte schmeckten sehr gut! Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und in dem Ambiente ist ein kurzes warten absolut nicht schlimm. Alles in allem absolut empfehlenswert!

Die Pizzeria liegt sehr schön idyllisch, trotz mitten in Innenstadt von Ludwigshafen am Rhein. Leider hat der Besitzer keine Parkplätze für die Gäste. Öffentliche Parkplätze sind sehr teuer, alle 20 Minuten muss man 1 Euro zum Parken bezahlen, Dur Höchstparkzeit sind 2 Stunden also 6 Euro plus das Essen und die Getränke, was auch alles sehr gepfeffert ist.

Wow. Einfach nur Spitze! Sehr freundlicher Service, der für jeden Spaß zu haben ist. Super leckeres Essen: große Pizzen, absolut lecker; phantastische Nudelgericht und Eistorten: einfach nur gut. Unser Lieblingsrestaurant in Ludwigshafen. In einer alten Kirche -> top Location. Immer wieder gerne!
