Pizzeria La Fattoria in Freising

Well, it's well known that guests give their local restaurants above-average praise. But the ambiance, service, and cuisine don't really fit into a good review here. Upon entering the restaurant, you can take a look into the kitchen; everyone can judge that for themselves. And the fact that you still have to pay in cash in the 21st century is a real disappointment.

Delivery took 2 hours. When it's busy, you shouldn't accept a delivery... The pizza arrived cold, burnt, and bland. Hunger somehow drives you to eat it, but I still threw away over half. I won't order again, that's for sure. It might be different in a restaurant, but I can't judge that. Just don't take delivery if you can't afford it.

Very good pasta and pizza, pleasant outdoor table, friendly and attentive service, we had a great time at La Fattoria and would gladly come back.

Ordered pizzas and pasta, called immediately and asked when the delivery would arrive... 30-45 minutes after ordering, max. The first time, I called after 1:15 hours, "coming right away" - 15 minutes. The second time, I called after 1:45 hours and explained that we were waiting for our food with a toddler who urgently needed to go to bed... yes, it would be here in 15 minutes... We discussed it, La Fotteria simply hung up... no apology, nothing... And then the nerve to call shortly before 10:00 PM, after almost 3 hours, and want to deliver the goods? Our child was already in bed long ago. Never again... Four days earlier, we had to call three times for our food to arrive. But this time, no words!!!

Very good pizza. During rush hour, it sometimes takes a little longer because they make the pizza fresh. I recommend it with garlic oil.

We ordered pizza with a few extras (olives, onions, tuna, broccoli, spinach), and unfortunately, 4 out of 5 of the "extras" were missing! Nevertheless, they charged us €1.50 per "extra." A disgrace. The pizza was good, but unfortunately, it wasn't great value for money, and the wrong order left a lot to be desired.

You get the feeling that they're only living off the reputation of the past. Friendliness is completely absent, unless you're a regular. A shame.

I recently ate there. The food was homemade and very tasty, but I have to say that it was my first time there, and I was treated like a stranger. There was no hospitality, no empathy, and I felt excluded. Furthermore, I often didn't understand the waiters and often felt like they didn't understand me. I ordered an Aperol Spritz and got a Spezi. Friendliness isn't a priority here!

I seem to remember celebrating my high school graduation here when I was 18. And, oh wonder, to this day (an incredible 27 years later), it's still a restaurant with a special charm. Whether it's the location, the fantastic staff, the impressively diverse selection of good food, and/or the excellent value for money, this place is a definite recommendation for anyone who appreciates culinary delights and a pleasant atmosphere.

A small, welcoming, authentic Italian pizzeria with a rustic beer garden feel outside! The pizza and pasta are lovingly prepared in a real stone oven using fresh ingredients, and the wait times are short. The motto is honest Italian cuisine, no frills. All in all, an evening here is highly recommended for anyone in Freising and the surrounding area. The only caveat: bring cash!

Disappointed place. Service far away from proper Italian people. You can’t pay with card but just let you know when you are going to pay. So be ready to go arround 800 metres away to get some cash. I love Italians restaurant specially when they have Italian staff. They make you feel welcome and they are so talkative. But not in this place at all. Starting for initial having a smile!

I came there for a quick dinner before I head to the airport. The waitress, who I think is the owner, was so rude. Polite was far away for her modals. I ordered with the other man a spaghetti with garlic and chilly, but I requested really light on chilly, the gentleman said not a problem. When food came to the table, was really spicy, so I apologised and said I couldnt eat, she was talking to me like I was the wrong one, made me feel wrong. I was saying i wouldnt even mind to pay for another one but properly done as I reauested. She said that not possibile, but then how is that possibile in the thounds italians restaurants i have been eating a long my whole life? The Food in the end wasnt the problem, was her aptitudde. Thinking she was making me a favour to me. I think inwrote couole of rewues in my entire life but today I have to do because if you don't know how to deal with customers then work with machines not with public.

I can't recommend this restaurant...neither the service nor the food. Sorry.

Very tasty food, good portion size and a lot of love goes to the dessert variety, with which you can try everything 👍🏼 The prices are reasonable and the service very friendly - we would love to come back!

Unfortunately we had a not so good experience. An order didn't come at all, a pizza was wrong. And it took a very long time. There was no apology either.

As always, the pizza was very tasty and the German and Italian singsong of the owners made you feel a bit like you were in Italy.

We ordered four pizzas at 6:13 p.m. After an hour we were told on the phone that the driver had just left. 3 hours after ordering we still have nothing to eat, but the order in Lieferando was simply set to delivered. Impudence and we were lied to several times on the phone!

So disappointed! I used to eat there so often, today we had something delivered after a long time. I was so happy... delivery took 2 hours and 30 minutes... after 2 hours I called and was told our food was ready and had been forgotten. I was promised that the food would be freshly made... what ended up being the most burnt and unfortunately only warmed up Margherita pizza I've ever seen. The other pizzas weren't freshly made either, they were just warmed up and burnt... and at these overpriced prices. It's really just a shame...

I ordered Pasta and it was indeed really tasty. The waiters were friendly and the atmosphere was happy.

Food was forgotten to be delivered for over an hour. Only after several calls did the driver finally arrive and give us a pizza that cost €15 per piece - completely cold. Plus, the pizza looked like it had already been sitting next to the oven for an hour. In addition, the mushrooms were forgotten, even though we even paid extra for them.

Nice owners, especially the boss who looked after us in a friendly manner. I always enjoy coming here when I'm nearby.

This Saturday I ordered two pizzas and was quite disappointed!!! Quality was better: After 30 minutes they were rock hard and ice cold. Other than that, the Diavolo pizza was not seasoned at all.

Friendly reception and friendly service. Very well attended. Very tasty tomato soup. Excellent entrecote from the grill. Since almost all seats were occupied, the volume was correspondingly high. Of course, this made normal table conversations more difficult. No card payment possible! However, this is expressly pointed out at the entrance! And the parking problem in front of the house! It's really difficult to get one of the few parking spaces in front of the house. Even if it could be solved, you probably wouldn't be able to avoid a 5-star rating.

Rustic Italian pizzeria, great wood-fired pizza.

Freundlicher Empfang, freundliche Bedienung. Sehr gut besucht. Fast ausgebucht. Sehr schmackhafte Tomatensuppe. Entrecote vom Grill hervorragend. Da fast alle Plätze besetzt waren, war die Lautstärke entsprechend hoch. Normale Tischgespräche wurden dadurch natürlich erschwert. Keine Kartenzahlung möglich. Es wird schon am Eingang ausdrücklich darauf hingewiesen! Und das Parkplatzproblem vor dem Hause. Es ist wirklich mühsam, einen der wenigen Parkplätze vor dem Hause zu ergattern. Wenn auch das gelöst wäre, käme man einer 5-Sternebewertung nicht vorbei.

Yesterday we had a meal here with 5 people for the first time and were very disappointed. We ordered 4 pizzas and 1 pasta. The pizzas came one after the other after about 20 minutes and the pasta took another that long. I ordered a pizza without anchovies and got one with anchovies. When I complained about this, the pizza I had cut with one slice was taken away. After about 10 minutes I received the same pizza, now cold and with anchovies scraped off. I then tried these, but the anchovy taste was already on the pizza. Only then was the pizza replaced. Very disappointing. It should also be noted that the friendliness of the boss can be compared to freezer level. So once and never again!!!

One of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been to. The food was amazing and the service as well. It is a calm place, relaxing. I suggest you try their pizzas. The brick oven they use makes a clear difference from other places.

Guests at the Bergwirt for 30 years. It's never been this bad. Loveless outdoor ambience. Small portion for a child requested. Answer: There isn't. Salami pizza: Salami didn't convince us. In general, the pizzas used to be great. Now just mediocre. Service difficult to improve.

Everyone was friendly and accommodating - unfortunately the light draft beer was warm and stale - when I pointed it out to the Signore in black, he said: This happens sometimes and put it down to the bar with no further response - when I then ordered 2 pilsners that were cold I also asked no one left at the table after the meal was full and had to pay for it. Everything was astonishing. The staff were super friendly, the small Biergarten was awesome and the food was great. I was constantly being frustrated by the Caesar salad at other Italian restaurants in Freising and Munich, but here it was great. The portion size was just right and the taste was exactly what I wanted. I also loved my drink and Tiramisu. Overall 10/10.

We ordered some pizzas and some pasta for dinner. The pizzas arrived after about 15 to 20 minutes, the pasta was a long time coming. After another 20 minutes, we politely asked when the noodles would arrive or whether they had been forgotten. We received the urgent reply in a very unfriendly manner that the chef was busy with another table. Another 15 minutes later the noodles arrived. Pizzas and pasta were delicious. We took the rest of the pizza with us. The next unpleasant surprise came on the bill: we had to pay for the pizza box. The next day I wanted to eat the rest of my pizza for lunch. Unfortunately, the tomatoes were completely moldy, so the pizza just ended up in the trash. All in all a really unpleasant experience and I won't be coming back.

Essen war o.k., obwohl ich um 19.30 Uhr noch gerne draußen gesessen hätte. War nicht möglich. Ein absolutes Ärgernis war, dass ich nicht mit EC-Karte zahlen konnte. Da ich nur wenige Münzen in der Tasche hatte, musste ich einen 800m-Marsch inn die Sadt machen um mir Bargeld zu besorgen. Geregnet hat es auch noch, Kein gelungener Abend.

Waiters are way too flirty for me! Italian flair or not. As a woman, I consciously want to eat alone and in peace - and I'm not looking for a man! The consistency of the mushrooms in the truffle dish was inedible. The rest was okay - but only okay. This was my second time there and I won't be coming back. Both times I was literally forced to come in to pay because several waiters ignored my request. Things suddenly happened very quickly inside and of course they had to give me a drink, take my hand and ask for my name and relationship status. No thanks! To be honest, the meal wasn't worth €40 to me either.

I've known the 'Bergwirt' for years. We used to go there with the company, for example the extremely tasty frozen limoncello was legendary. When we arrived there was a big hello and how are you and please find a table. The service was top and friendly. I miss all of that when I try again this week. Ordered pizza by phone, but still waited longer. 5 pizzas were quickly pushed through by the baker and then it was our turn to order, even though there really wasn't much going on. No consolation grappa like before, but we were asked repeatedly what we had ordered. Tone rather unfriendly, even when cashing out. All in all very expensive. Only the pizza maker was very welcoming and gave us a pinch of oregano. The calzone was picture perfect and very tasty. The only reason we won't become regular customers again is because of the lack of friendliness/warmth. I can understand similar reviews because we have now experienced it ourselves. I'm happy to tip generously, but I'd be happy to tip somewhere else in the future. One star for the process, four stars for the pizza.

They used to be much better. The pizza was better and made with more love. We also ordered gnocchi for €16, which unfortunately looked like cafeteria food. Additionally, no card payment possible. No longer recommended, there is better Italian food in Freising.

Never again. The service is a disgrace and the food is substandard. When I was picking it up, some of the other people who picked it up had the wrong pizza. (Coincidence?) There was no apology or discount. Complaint pointless. Our pizzas were completely soggy that day. They didn't taste good either. Quality looks different.

But if people often try to aggressively sell you something you don't want, then the food can still be good. When I wanted to take the receipt with me when I picked it up, the pizzas first had to be entered into the cash register with an annoyed face and rudeness towards me. Unfair to all the other honest restaurateurs out there!

Rude staff. They try to force you to sell you more food and talk to you stupidly when you politely refuse. I have never experienced something like that! The good reviews are obviously bought or written by yourself.

The service was friendly and relatively quick, and the food came pretty quickly. There were eight of us, four of them children. Food came pretty much at the same time. The waiter did not ask about the children's portion, and in my opinion there were no children's portions on the menu. The pizzas were okay, but I've had better ones in the area. Spaghetti Bolognese didn't really convince us, not even the children. The grilled veal schnitzel with potatoes (not on the menu, ordered separately for allergy sufferers) was very good, tender meat and a nice portion.

I ate lasagna with salad there today! It definitely wasn't fresh! Everything in the bottom part of the lasagna was black - burnt. Unfortunately I was only able to eat two-thirds of it. The waiter said it happens sometimes😕.

We were there at 2pm and they were not ready to serve us even though the opening time is until 2:30pm.

The waitresses are very friendly and attentive. The pizza is super tasty and really big. Unfortunately, only cash payment is possible and parking options in the area are limited.

Without exception, the owners are always unfriendly and grumpy. The quality of the food is very poor. You can order different types of wine, but they are simply presented to you with a greeting from the boss: “It doesn’t matter which wine is which”. Invoices should always be checked, as people often charge too much and if no tip is given, the man of the house likes to beg for it himself with his usual grumpy attitude. Ambiance is reminiscent of the post-war period. I have something underground like that and I don't want to have to experience it anymore.

Unfortunately, card payment is not possible here. I didn't get a receipt when I picked it up either.
