Pizzeria Inferno in Bielefeld

Pizzeria Inferno has been a cult favorite in Bielefeld for decades. We've been coming here regularly for over 25 years. The pizzas are large and incredibly delicious. The very friendly owner, Toni, is a true restaurateur and genuinely appreciates his guests. You can tell you're always warmly welcomed here.

Toni's trademark is large, thin pizzas baked in a wood-fired stone oven. With their wide selection, I've never had a pizza I didn't like. A particular advantage: they still serve delicious food even after 9 pm. We love going there.

Very polite welcome, lovely rustic ambiance. A huge pizza selection, and the pizzas are also very large and really delicious. (Baked in a stone oven.) We accompanied them with a delicious Bardolino red wine. And we can only recommend this pizzeria. We'll be happy to come back.

For me, this was one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. Thin crust, perfectly seasoned, and perfectly topping. 😊 Simply delicious. The kitchen served pizza rolls and salad as a welcome gift. That was also delicious.

A small, cozy restaurant that has been around for 50 years – and you can tell by the many loyal customers from the neighborhood. It seems they also do a lot of delivery orders, but dining in is just as enjoyable. The service was friendly and efficient. The food was delicious, nicely seasoned, and the portions were generous. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable.

We returned to our favorite pizzeria after a long time – and it was absolutely worth it! The stone-baked pizza was, as always, a dream: crispy base, perfectly baked, and, above all, generously topped with cheese – exactly as you'd expect. We were especially pleased that the salad was on the house as a little treat – a very nice gesture that you don't take for granted. Fresh, crisp, and lovingly prepared! What made the evening special: The host Toni was finally there again. With his warm, friendly manner, he immediately creates a warm, inviting atmosphere. You can tell that the cooking and service here is done with passion. Conclusion: Authentic, delicious, and welcoming – we'll definitely be back soon!

We came here for pizza based on the many positive reviews. And even though the ambiance of the place is perhaps a bit dated and could use a little facelift, we couldn't fault the food at all. We had a delicious pizza for two, served to us by the owner himself. The service was extremely friendly and fast.

Toni's pizzas are world-class! He's a very warm and accommodating host, making you feel at home right away. The potato special pizza is definitely an insider tip!

Yesterday, three of us went to Toni's and had a delicious meal. We started with a salad and some really great pizza bread (you can't get that good at even the best pizzeria). The service from Toni and other staff was excellent, as always. Unfortunately, the ambiance outside leaves a lot to be desired. We'll be back anyway.

I've been coming here for a long time and now the boss Toni is finally back. The food is so delicious, it's really cozy here and the service is excellent and very friendly. No other pizzeria tastes as good as this one. It's pure paradise.

The pizza was very, very, very delicious. You can tell from the taste that it comes from a stone oven. We even got a nice welcome from the kitchen with pizza bread with cheese and salad on the house. The size of the pizza was sensational.

Pizza Parma is my personal favorite. It always comes with a small salad and homemade bread. The best pizzeria in Bielefeld, although tastes differ. I just returned from a vacation in Italy (Cinque Terre). The pizza at Inferno can definitely hold its own, whether it's the classic one-topping or, as in my case today, the Pizza Parma with fresh tomatoes, pastrami (beef), Parmesan, and arugula. If you want to eat there during the classic rush hour (7-9 p.m.), I recommend making a reservation, as the pizzeria is very popular. Before 6 p.m., you can also go without a reservation. I wish everyone who decides to eat here a good appetite.

We were there today for the first and probably last time. The pizza was okay, as was the salad. We sat outside in the messy beer garden, under a large but unfortunately moldy gazebo. Instead of cleaning up and maintaining it, they preferred to burn countless cigarettes.

We've ordered from Lieferando several times now. Extremely satisfied every time! The pizza sauce is amazing, and there's a wide selection of toppings. The regular pepperoni is especially recommended; it's served whole and very moist and delicious. The garlic is also great. Another plus: The pizza sauce is the best pizza sauce I've ever had on a pizza; it has a strong and good flavor, is spicy, and moist. I wish I could make it just like that. The best thing about ordering from 'Pizzaria Inferno bei (TONI)' are the free sides: pizza bread and salad, from which you can choose one. The pizza bread has a great consistency and is very flavorful. The salad is a bit small compared to the amount of pizza bread, but for free, you can't complain at all. The cocktail dressing and vegetables are very moist and delicious. Both sides are excellent. The price-performance ratio is absolutely right! The delivery staff was also very friendly and prompt with every order. I'd be happy to order again.

A very cozy place, both indoors and outdoors. Food came very quickly, service was great. Even gave a greeting from the kitchen. When we asked to share a pizza, we got it served straight away on two plates! Very cool! The pizza was also a real treat, the dough was delicious and nice and crispy and thin, there was an appropriate amount of toppings and our scampi pizza didn't skimp on garlic either! We think it's great. We'd love to come back!

Worst pizza ever. 40 euros for one pizza and two wines. The am own e was not super friendly and the quality of the food was terrible. I highly recommend NOT to go there.

I can hardly put my disappointment into words, I don't understand why there are so many positive reviews here. I was there last week, the lasagna from Netto or Lidl was cold and charred in the middle, the pizza was so bad, the ambience, if you want to call it that, was just subterranean, bad. The guy charged a pizza, a cola and an unordered starter salad for €19. Fingers stuck in the glasses when clearing away and then wiped off on your own shirt. Bon appetit.

I know Inferno from my student days in the 90s and have always been enthusiastic about Toni's Pizza and the service. Today we were there again for a long time and were very disappointed. The salad, ok on the house, was drowned in a ready-made dressing, and the pizzas weren't really tasty either. I don't want to describe the service as such, and the ambience has become subterranean. In the end, card payment was not possible because the device was apparently not working at the moment. It's a shame what has become of what was once a great pizzeria. Then found out later... website no longer active and Toni is no longer the owner, but whose name is still used in advertising. Conclusion: Never again

We have been Toni customers for a very long time. Unfortunately, with his departure, a piece of what made us happy guests for 30 years was lost. The warmth and the feeling of being welcome are missing. Everything has changed more towards sales and consumption. The rooms no longer offer space to feel comfortable. Pizza delivery people are constantly running back and forth to handle deliveries. Today we were also guests in ice-cold rooms, we now sit closely table to table with other guests. If you want to use the toilets, the guests have to get up first because there is a table right in front of the door. Overall everything was very chaotic and disorganized. It's a shame, we're still "dreaming" about the location from back then. We won't be coming back.

Perfect pizza. We regularly drive 25 km each way to enjoy this great pizza. We have now been guests at Toni's for over 28 years.

Really delicious pizzas, super service. They welcomed us very nicely and served us quickly. I recommend it to others, and we will recommend it to our friends and we will visit the apartment again and again. I think we were served by the host himself, so we say a big thank you to him and his team.

Toni is a wonderful person who has always remained true to himself. I love his food beforehand, there is always a small salad and his pizza is the best on earth. I now live a little further away! But I still go there regularly. Already over 30 years.

Pizza was great, cappuccino unfortunately not!

Unfortunately, Inferno is no longer the way I got to know it 20 years ago. After years I wanted to eat a real Italian pizza from the Steinoffen again and was extremely disappointed. Ownership has changed over the years and unfortunately the flair has also disappeared. I understand that you have to earn money today and want to, but does that mean the black delivery boxes have to be dragged through the already very narrow aisles? If you are unlucky and get the outside space in the aisle then you should be prepared to constantly be pushed by the boxes or too many staff, be it delivery staff or waitresses. Unfortunately, not only does patience break down, but also appetite at some point.

Delivery was a good 30 minutes late, the dough was like rubber, there was even water in the box and the ham pizza for my 4 year old daughter was so spicy that she couldn't eat it!

The pizza is really great and also the reason why I like eating here. It comes straight from the stone oven to the table. Unfortunately the atmosphere is not that pleasant. If you want a delicious pizza, you're in good hands here. If you don't want a relaxing evening in a restaurant, you probably won't.

Pizzeria Inferno – the name really says it all. Unfortunately the food was subpar. We decided to order here because of the many positive reviews, but without too high expectations. Unfortunately, the food was still a disappointment. The arugula on my pizza appeared to be unwashed, which gave an unpleasant crunch with every bite, and you could see grains of sand on it. The cheese was of questionable quality and the tomato slices were thin and watery. We also had a pizza special, which was also not edible. Overall really disappointing and the many positive reviews are absolutely incomprehensible to us.

I found the restaurant itself to be clean and tidy. You could sit outside, which reminded me a lot of a backyard. The food was super cheap and sufficient. But the menu was very old and was more patched up than whole. There was little choice of food and drinks, but there was still something for everyone. Waiter was very nice. But it's a very simple Italian, without any frills etc.

Leckere Pizza, freundliches Personal. Sehr zu empfehlen. Top Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Auf dem Weg nachhause einen kurzen Abstecher in diese unscheinbare Pizzeria gemacht um zwei Pizzen mit nachhause zu nehmen. Wurden super nett empfangen und die Pizza war sehr lecker und preiswert.

Because of good reviews, I visited the pizzeria; but was disappointed. The unusual private pictures as decoration created a strange atmosphere in which I felt uncomfortable. I can't recommend the lasagna, which is mainly a thick layer of cheese with little filling. The service was just OK. Overall the experience was disappointing.
