Delicious pizza, good service, but the parking situation is a disaster. What's unacceptable are reheated pizza rolls. If they're hot on the outside and cold on the inside, then they've been reheated. Absolutely not.

A very delicious Italian restaurant. The food was very tasty. I ordered pizza and my friends had baked rigatoni. It's not quite 5 stars because I always consider the overall experience. It was very nice, but for 5 stars, everything simply has to be perfect. Parking is a bit of a problem, and the street is narrow. But otherwise, highly recommended.

This pizza is absolutely amazing. I haven't had such a fantastic pizza in a long time. The sauce, toppings, and dough are simply fantastic and immediately reminded me of my last vacation in Italy.

Six of us ate here. Unfortunately, two of us didn't enjoy our food at all. The spaghetti aglio olio was still extremely "al dente" and not seasoned at all. The salad with turkey strips wasn't a hit either. The service was mediocre.

We were very pleased! Despite the full seating, the food was brought quickly, without a long wait. The pizza was delicious, with a crispy crust and quality ingredients. The cozy atmosphere and good service made the visit even more enjoyable. A great place to eat well and have a good time.

The wait times are truly abysmal 😅 The appetizers arrived after 45 minutes, the drinks after an hour, and the pizza took another 45 minutes. Yes, it was really busy, but that's still not an acceptable wait for a pizza 😅 especially since drinks could take 45 minutes?! Once and never again.

The place is buzzing! :) It's really busy here, so be sure to make a reservation. Despite it being so busy, we received friendly service and the food came pretty quickly. The pizza was unfortunately a little burnt around the edges, but it still tasted good (it's from a stone oven, so seconds count, of course). All in all, it's worth recommending!

Traditional Italian restaurant. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We had bruschetta, lasagna, and pasta with salmon. For dessert, we had a selection of three different dishes. Everything was delicious. I definitely recommend it.

Unfortunately I wasn't offered any food here. Was it because I wanted to sit outside when it was 14 degrees? If I could, I would give this zero stars. A Coke was brought to me and unfortunately no one came for 25 minutes. Pay in and go for it. Absolutely impossible

Wanted to eat here last night. We reserved for 8 p.m. and were on time. There were about 5 other people waiting in the hallway. The service staff noticed us but cleverly ignored us. After about 10 minutes of waiting, we approached the staff to come to our table. However, none. The answer we received was: “You have to wait” and no further information. We were ignored for the next 20 minutes. After 30 minutes of waiting with a reservation and without any information from the service staff, we left. We can't comment on the food or ambience because we didn't leave the hallway.

It's always nice to be there - you feel like you're part of a big family. Warm, cozy and just to feel good!

One of the greatest pizzerias I've had the pleasure of eating at in recent months. The food was very tasty and the service was extremely good, even though the store was full and people even waited outside. It's better to reserve a table in advance.

Linguine with grilled octopus and king prawns in lemon sauce, sounds great and tasted fantastic. Also unusual dishes on offer; friendly, flexible staff in the warm ambience of the wood stove. Any time.

Picked up pizza, pasta and appetizers. Pasta was good and huge portion. Pizza was ok. I usually get much better antipasti for €18. Vitello Tonato wasn't a highlight either. Pizza bread is provided in a paper bag for chicken. If I get a kebab, that's ok, but at a pizzeria!!!

I have been a customer for over 20 years and am still loyal. Speaks for a good company. I'm looking forward to the next visit.

Worst pizzeria of my life so far. The taste is subterranean. Maybe it's because it was eaten away from home, but definitely not recommended.

A real must for Italian lovers! The entire ambience here matches the food and mood. A great stone oven decorates part of the kitchen, here you can watch the pizza being baked and then delivered fresh to the table. Classic pasta dishes and top salads round off the offering.

If you can't get a table in a pizzeria on Sunday evening where everyone else is dead without a reservation. And the people who didn't get a table lining up at the counter to pick up their pizza then you know you're in the right place. It was delicious and we received exceptionally friendly service so you could easily forgive the wait for the pizza.

I used to eat there often and it tasted good, but unfortunately there are no vegan options. That's why it's unfortunately no longer an option for me and therefore only 3 stars.

Pizza is very tasty, the Picata Milanese also tastes very good. There are also fantastic desserts. The staff is very friendly. What I particularly like is that the pizzas are made in a wood-fired oven. You can even watch it being prepared.

Dough was bit too dry on the bottom. Fine beer for its price. Waiter was a bit forgetful, dirty tables even though it wasn't very busy and there was plenty of other personnel. Almost broke the door to man's wc heh.

There were five of us. We arrived without a reservation and they found the place for us so we received a good welcome. Service was quite slow and not attentive, they didn't give us cutlery or even napkins, wishing us a good dinner. We took several dishes to try a bit of everything but I would say everything was terrible. We ordered a cola and didn't have it I asked if it was possible to have it in a bottle and for the second time it was brought to me in a glass, saying that the cola didn't all fit in the glass when it was so easy to bring the bottle and an empty glass so I could pour it myself. Continuing with the food, the Milanese piccata wasn't bad if the meat hadn't been almost raw, the French fries overcooked, the bruschetta full of garlic and water without a drizzle of oil, the pizza seemed frozen, the grilled fish had no no flavor and the fish seemed like rubber, the tortellini with cream and the peas were raw and no one ever came to the table to ask if everything was going well... we left on an empty stomach and will certainly never return.

100 points, haven't eaten so well in a long time. Everything fits here. Service, food, ambience. The pizzas were baked in a stone oven. Really good dough. The pasta was perfect with tomatoes and cheese. The tiramisu as it should taste.🤤 This isn't the last time we've been here, and the service is also attentive and good.

Great family atmosphere. My children and I were welcomed very politely and friendly. The children's food came a few minutes early so they could get back to painting quickly - really great. The food was really tasty and the portions were generous. Gladly again at any time. Is only recommended for those who want to experience and taste a really good Italian atmosphere.

Service unfriendly but changed my pizza but didn't even know what they had on the menu, + spelling mistakes in the menu, there was different ice cream on the menu and a chocolate shake was made from a vanilla shake which didn't want to be repaired Food good but greasy Ambience very loud

We were here for the first time! The online reservation for the evening worked perfectly, and we found a beautifully set table with a starched white fabric tablecloth and a burning candle. It is a place to feel good, with a very cozy atmosphere and an extensive food and drink menu. The staff was very friendly, attentive and competent, the food was very tasty, beautifully and lovingly prepared. We'd love to come back!

Nice restaurant with an outdoor terrace. During a visit on Sunday we were lucky enough to get seats spontaneously without a reservation. The starter was delicious and generously portioned. The pizza perfect and very tasty. The service was very nice, attentive but not intrusive. If we're ever in the area again, we'd love to come back.

I have no words for what I've seen twice on my morning walk in the last few weeks: A CAT ON A READY-SET TABLE?!?!!!! NEXT TO/ON THE CUTLERY!?!?!!!

We waited 1.5 hours for our ordered food until they discovered that the note with the order had been lost. Please do me a favor and go eat pizza somewhere else and you'll save yourself a lot of trouble. The once good reputation of the Pizzeria Gumpen has been completely lost. It's a shame because the food here was always very tasty.

Unfortunately we were treated very unkindly. Despite having a reservation, we had to wait 40 minutes in front of the restaurant. The food came very late and was cold. Any complaint was dismissed by saying that you didn't have to eat "here"...we didn't feel comfortable, the food was okay, but not particularly good.

We were at Gumpen in Donzdorf for the first time on Sunday. We reserved online for lunch and received a confirmation straight away. Everything was great on site, the waitresses stopped by often, the food was great and was at the table quickly. We will come back!

Super tasty food, friendly service, inviting atmosphere and fair prices...

The restaurant is a mass market and can no longer keep up with the other pizzerias in Donzdorf. It feels like nobody has time for the guests because everything has to happen quickly. There is no sense of Italian cosiness there. A few years ago it was a good pizzeria, but today I would rate it differently.

Preis war in Ordnung, Wartezeit auch. Die Pasta mit Gorgonzola hatten wenig Gorgonzolageschmack. Pizza war sehr gut.

Das Essen und das Ambiente sind gut. Allerdings stimmen die Abholzeiten bei bestelltem Essen gar nicht. Wenn viel los ist, wartet man bestimmt 30 min länger als angegeben. Schön wäre es, wenn die bei der Bestellung gleich sagen würden, dass viel los ist und es dadurch einiges länger dauert. Es ist ja schön, wenn die Gastronomen was zu tun haben, aber bitte ehrlich sein bei Abholzeiten……. Das verärgert sonst nur….. Weniger ist manchmal mehr, vor allem wenn Service und Qualität leiden….

Sehr enge Bestuhlung, dadurch hoher Geräuschpegel. Gnocchi mit Lachs und Blattspinat, große Portion, leider war der Lachs sehr trocken.

Damals galt der Gumpen noch als Geheimtipp im Kreis Göppingen, dies ist leider nicht mehr so. Nicht nur die Preise sind gesalzen… Nachdem wir platzgenommen haben, mussten wir fast 2 Stunden warten, bis wir unser Essen hatten. Der Service war sehr unfreundlich. Leider kann ich den Gumpen nicht mehr empfehlen, für Familien nicht tragbar dank der langen Wartezeit, der einst zuvorkommende und über aus freundliche Service gibt es nicht mehr, das Ambiente ist zwar noch so schön wie es damals war, jedoch ist der gesamte Charme von damals verloren gegangen…
