Pizzeria Gargano in Leverkusen

Despite pre-ordering, we waited 45 minutes for a mediocre, lukewarm pizza. Unfortunately, it wasn't the first time, but it was the last. 👎 From now on, we'll only order from Amorino on Düsseldorferstr.

Ridiculous! You order food from Lieferando and after about 25 minutes it's canceled, exactly 5 minutes after you had the chance to order somewhere else! Better to do this from the start! The organization is as chaotic as you'd imagine!

We ordered a total of 116 euros and were unfortunately very disappointed. The pizza was dry and had very little topping. The pasta had no flavor and was barely edible. Furthermore, our salad was forgotten during delivery and only brought later – but without any apology or small courtesy, such as a drink. Additionally, the herb butter for the pizza rolls was not included. For the price, we expected considerably more. It's a shame; we won't order from there again.

I've ordered and eaten here several times, and this pizza is one of the best! Today I ordered a pizza with eggplant and buffalo mozzarella and one with spinach and Gorgonzola via Lieferando. The eggplant pizza was orange in color, and there was definitely no buffalo mozzarella. Both pizzas were very dry and didn't taste good, and especially not what an Italian pizza should taste like, which is what it tasted like here! Unfortunately, a disappointment!

Finally adjust your prices! Nothing online is up to date!

Good pizza, but value for money and questionable tipping practices We ordered from Pizzeria Gargano via Lieferando. The delivery was on time, the pizza arrived hot, and we were very impressed with its taste. The delivery driver was also extremely friendly – we would like to emphasize this positively. We were less impressed, however, with the salad: The portion was very small and disproportionate to the high price. The ingredients also seemed rather carelessly put together – we expected considerably more. What further irritated us: We had left a tip during the ordering process via Lieferando – believing it would benefit the delivery driver. However, during the conversation, the delivery driver politely pointed out to us that tips via the platform apparently don't reach him directly. We can't verify this, of course, but we would like to raise awareness among other customers about the importance of tipping directly in cash upon delivery. Conclusion: Good pizza and friendly service, but there is room for improvement in terms of value for money and more transparency in handling online tips would be desirable.

We ordered pizza as a group. After waiting for almost an hour, we received a notification that our order had been canceled without any prior notice.

Unfortunately I have to say that the Pizzeria Gargano is no longer what it used to be. Of course it's just a snapshot, but that doesn't make a good impression on the customers. When you come into the store you are "welcomed" by Princess "Bad Mood" who is just writing on her notepad. A smile to greet you is probably asking too much. Then father and son also stand behind the counter and argue loudly in Italian. Culture or not, family disputes don't belong in public. Order placed. And then it's time to wait. The only one who works is the son, and not particularly quickly. Even if there is a lot to do with the delivery service, you can still say that it takes a little longer to place the order. After more than 20 minutes I got my pizza, but I only discovered it was half burnt at the bottom when I got home. That's what happens when you don't pay attention to the pizza and instead prefer to argue. The burnt floor thing seems to happen a lot when you look at the recessions. But luckily we have another pizzeria on site. It's a shame, Gargano used to be good.

Unfortunately I have to give this one star because otherwise I can't rate it. They didn't even deserve one. Sorry, but so far I've never eaten a worse pizza... they always think they make the best pizza around. Any NON-Italian in town makes better pizza than you! Sad but true… As an Italian, a Quattro formaggi pizza with diced sheep's cheese on it is a shame for Italy!!!!!

I have been an occasional customer/guest there for 10 years. Excellent food and also very good wines.

(self-collection) - always friendly and quick service. Unfortunately the quality has been declining lately. The dough of the filled pizza rolls is sometimes raw, burnt or both. Finally, “arranging” things in the box became more and more careless. Today it culminated in an unsightly pile of very dark and undignified pizza rolls slapped together, one pizza was wet and soggy with (too much) toppings, in general people seem to be working more and more with too much self-confidence, a lot of attitude and little love. Unfortunately, we couldn't be reached by phone 20 minutes before closing time to clarify this promptly.

The food gets worse every time. For a while it was like this, depending on who was in the store. Now it doesn't make any difference anymore. The dough is often raw in parts and burnt at the same time. You have to do that first. Pizza toppings are very economical and at the end there was always something missing (sometimes cheese, sometimes sauce, etc.). The sparse toppings are also slapped onto the pizza in a very unappetizing way. The last order went in the trash after a few bites. Not only did the pizzas look disgusting, they really didn't taste good at all.

The food and service is fine and the ambience is pleasant.

We called to place a large order for the Germany game. It was picked up straight away and my girlfriend immediately left the room because of the noise level. She apologized and said she was on her way out. The employee replied “take the blanket out of your mouth” and hung up. No matter how loud it was at the other end, this statement is simply anti-social, cheeky and - regardless of the quality of the food - shows the excellent service spirit! Hi, yesterday we ordered 4 pizzas on Liferando, apart from the fact that the pizza is disgusting, the seafood wasn't there anyway, as my daughter and I had a stomachache and constantly went to the bathroom and paid €50 which was a shame.

I ordered 2 pizzas and two cokes for €30. However, two pizzas and coke came and both only had salt. I don't know if I ordered salt pizza or if it was a mistake. When I called he said there was no salt on it. Boy, you should know how to make sauce. I didn't expect you to bring me new pizzas but to let me know how there were none, sorry, just hang up, never order again.

Waited over an hour and a half for two pizzas. Then get cold and soggy. Then I called the pizzeria. Unfortunately I was treated very stupidly on the phone. The statement was bad luck accept it or send it back.

I have never eaten such bad pizza in my life. It was never freshly prepared and was also ice cold. We will never order there again. The sight of the pizza ruined my appetite terribly. I eat everything else but it's cheeky to give someone something like that.

We were in a hurry and just wanted to take a small pizza and rolls with herb butter. Everything happened very quickly, was freshly prepared and tasted absolutely delicious. Unfortunately too far away from us. Otherwise it would have the potential to become our house pizzeria❤️

We really enjoy eating here. The pizza is great...The staff and the boss are very friendly and accommodating. We had it delivered at the weekend for 130 euros and didn't even get a bottle of cola or anything else. Elsewhere, with such a sum, there is always something as a thank you. A pity...

Hello Pizzeria Gargano, that was probably nothing. First two out of three pizzas are delivered incorrectly, then the following phone call is simply ended. You used to be able to do it much better, but now you don't seem to care about the customer. You can keep the €4.50, but you won't get any more from us. That was our last order. What would have been nice: warm pizzas, not cooled down! Best regards ...

Früher waren es die besten Pizzen. Leider sind diese aber seit 1,5 Jahren grundsätzlich an den Rändern derart verbrannt, dass man sie nicht mehr essen kann. Was äußerst schade ist, weil der Teig perfekt ist. Warm kommen die Pizzen auch nicht mehr an.

Unser Essen kam nach etwas über 1 1/2 Stunden an (da es Wochenende und dementsprechend mehr los ist, war das ok) und war aber leider schon so gut wie kalt. Die Pizzakartons waren teilweise nass und durchgeweicht, das Essen hat heute leider nicht wirklich gut geschmeckt und es wurden zwei falsche Sachen geliefert. Bisher war ich eigentlich zufrieden, aber nach dem heutigen Tag werde ich eher nicht mehr bestellen. Der Fahrer war allerdings sehr freundlich und höflich.

So geht das. Leckere Pizza in stimmiger Atmosphäre.

Sehr gute Pizzeria! Wir bestellen hier regelmäßig und das Essen ist immer super. Pizza und Pasta nur zu empfehlen! Beides sehr italienisch und frisch gemacht. Preise sind vollkommen in Ordnung und nicht außerirdisch, für die Qualität auf jeden Fall top! Lieferung geht auch immer recht schnell, oft vor voraussichtlicher Lieferzeit da. Personal auch sehr freundlich und extra Wünsche werden immer ausgeführt. Für jeden etwas dabei, große Auswahl!

Ich habe eine kleine Pizza bestellt und kommt eine Pizza who fast zwei essen können Nudel kann Mann nur im Restaurant und frisch. Sobald sie in der Aluschale und Deckel drauf zum transportieren werden die trocken egal was und who Beim Chinesen asiatisch ist eben so ich gehe bereits seit mindenstens 6jahre und alles top

Winzig kleine Pizzeria mit Schwerpunkt Lieferservice. Es sind ca. 4 Tische vorhanden an denen mit sehr freundlichem Personal bedient wird. Das Essen insbesonderen die Pizza sind sehr lecker und von super Qualität. Es werden nur frische Zutaten verwendet was man sofort sieht und schmeckt. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir haben dort wirklich sehr leckere Pizza gegessen. Leider wird das Etablissement der leckeren Pizza nicht gerecht. ich hatte das Gefühl, dass alle Mitarbeiter mit Spass an der Sache dabei waren. Doch das Besteck könnte ein wenig hochwertiger sein und das WC, hmm. Naja. Trübt aber nicht über die wirklich sehr leckere Pizza hinweg. Wenn wir wieder in der Nähe sind kommen wir sehr gerne wieder

Also mit Ruhm bekleckert habt ihr euch nun wirklich nicht. Es hieß es dauert 40 Min. bis das Essen geliefert wird. Das war ja schon mal nichts. Nach über einer Stunde kam das Essen endlich und war dann natürlich nur noch lauwarm. Und als würde das nicht reichen, waren die Pizzen auch noch reichlich angebrannt, so dass nicht Alles genießbar war. Das war heute unsere erste Bestellung und mit Sicherheit auch die Letzte!

Schlechteste pizza die ich seit jahren bestellt habe... Ich weiß nicht ob es ein pizza bäcker ist oder Maurer. Pizza nicht geschnitten. Lieferzeit zu lange

Waren heute das erste Mal hier. Eine super Auswahl an Pizza. Kleines und gemütliches Restaurant. Hatten die Vesuvio und Tinni mit Sardellen. Sehr leckerer Boden und klasse belegt. Ein ehrlicher und preiswerter Hauswein. Dazu ein freundliches Team. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

So eine Frechheit habe ich noch nie erlebt. Wir haben über einen Lieferservice Pizza und Calzone bestellt. Die Calzone habe ich mir mit meinen Wunschzutaten selbst zusammen gestellt. Ich habe keinen Knoblauch ausgewählt, da ich diesen nicht vertrage. Jedoch wurde die Calzone mit Knoblauch geliefert. Die Pizza war fast kalt. Als ich dort anrief und freundlich angemerkt habe, dass die Calzone mit Knoblauch geliefert worden ist, wurde ich direkt unfreundlich angefaucht dass ich das hätte wissen müssen wenn ich Spinat auswählen würde. Die Dame sprach dann erst einmal nicht weiter mit mir sondern sagte zu dem Chef, dass ich mich beschweren würde. Er erwiderte direkt das gleiche. Als ich noch sagte, dass die Pizza fast kalt wäre, wurde ich erneut angeschnauzt, dass dies nicht sein könnte. Auf meine Frage ob das ihre Art wäre mit Kunden umzugehen, motzte die Dame weiter, der Chef rief aus dem Hinterhalt sie solle aufhören zu diskutieren und es wurde einfach aufgelegt. So etwas unmögliches. Hier werde ich nie wieder bestellen!!! Absolute Frechheit. Leider muss ich einen Punkt vergeben, da man nicht null angeben kann.

Wir haben heute das erste Mal dort bestellt, ein Tip von unserem Nachbarn. Wirklich lecker, alles dem Preis angemessen. Wir hatten die "Frutti di Mare mit Gambas und Miesmuscheln" sowie zwei Prosciutto. Bisher die beste Pizza in Leverkusen.

Was soll man sagen? Wer die beste Pizza in Leverkusen sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Der Teig ist perfekt und wenn man Sonderwünsche hat ist es auch kein Problem.

This was my first visit to Pizzeria Gargano in Opladen - a place my son apparently visits all the time during his lunchtime break from the nearby school. Ironically it was after a parents evening that we decided to stop off here and grab some pizzas to go. The place is small and warm owing to the close proximity of the kitchen to the half a dozen or so tables at the front of the establishment. These were mainly occupied by Italians confirming the authenticity of the place - particularly as they kept up a constant dialogue with the kitchen staff. But the best bit was the quality of the pizzas. I asked for my own variation with gorgonzola, salami and peperoni which was delicious. And the prices are truly modest. We'll be back - but probably not as often as my son :-)

Great location in Opladen with very accessible prices and (really) delicious pizza. Ideal for many occasions: take your date, meal with your familiy or just get something to take away. The pizza place is managed by real Italians so that you can be sure you will get a traditional pizza!

Die Pizza war verbrannt und die Nudelportion war für den Preis definitiv zu klein. Da gibt es weitaus bessere Pizzerien. So etwas miserables habe ich noch nicht erlebt. Einmal und nie wieder.
