Pizzeria Da Pino in Walldorf

Since September 2025, with a new, more modern chef!! Horatio (the previous chef) was a really good cook! But the new chef's cooking is more modern, and it tastes really good, too. The restaurant is unfortunately relatively small, with just under 40 seats, so you almost always have to make a reservation (even at lunch) to get a spot. However, you'll receive typical Italian, family-style service and hospitality.

Best italian in Walldorf and surroundings.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed; the food has been better. A real shame. We had two Italian salads, and you could barely find the ham and cheese there. The dressing wasn't rich or good either. The pizza was good, though, with a nice thin crust and plenty of toppings.

Small Italian restaurant. You can eat inside or outside, good food, and reasonable prices.

Perfect dinner at Da Pino! Delicious and well-prepared dishes, with the freshest ingredients. Fine, clean and refined atmosphere, with elegant white tablecloths that give a touch of class. The service was impeccable: the waiter, kind and attentive, made us feel at ease immediately. A round of applause also to the owner, passionate and present. Congratulations, we will definitely be back!

It's been a few weeks since we were there. We asked right at the beginning if card payments were possible. The server didn't know and wanted to check. Due to the weather, we moved inside. We asked the server again about card payments, but she still had no idea. When she brought us our drinks at some point, she said card payments weren't possible. We then ordered food and got cash while we waited. The carbonara was more like spaghetti in a ham and cream sauce and really not tasty. The asparagus pizza was rather dry and tasteless. It's a shame, since the reviews otherwise looked pretty good. When we wanted to pay, it turned out that card payments were apparently possible after all.

Upon entering, you were warmly welcomed by the owner, Enzo, whose friendly manner immediately puts you at ease – typical Italian hospitality. The pizza Italia and dessert were a dream. 10/10 The service was excellent, and the ambiance is also very pleasant: cozy, inviting, and full of charm. In conclusion: Da Pino is a definite recommendation for anyone who appreciates good food and a warm atmosphere. I'll definitely be back – grazie, Enzo!

We enjoyed this delightful spot. Their pizzas are made with fresh, flavorful toppings. The crust is crisp at the edges, soft in the middle, just like it should be. The friendly, welcoming staff and relaxed atmosphere make it a comfortable spot for a casual dinner with friends or family . The menu offers both classic and creative options, and each pie we tried hit the mark. The pricing feels fair given the quality of the food.

Pretty disastrous experience. Our first time there was good. This was our second time, and we will not be back. Not sure if the waiter was exhausted, or on something but he was all over the place. The owner was swanning around doing his own thing at his own pace and the waiter was trying to do everything else. It was the most stressful meal I've ever had. Came away with red wine stain on my new shoes which won't come out as the waiter smashed a glass of red wine at our table. It wasn't even our wine.

Very good starters, very good pizza. The staff was 100% friendly and attentive overall. However, it was busy, so we missed a few things here and there. Still, a definite recommendation!

The worst pizza I've ever eaten. It was recommended to me and I've never been more disappointed. The dough is very soft and not at all airy, just a compressed mass. Very, very disappointing! I don't know why they don't care about good quality. It's sad that this is called pizza. I don't know how other dishes taste, but these clearly need a better recipe.

Hidden away and (thank God) found by chance. THE best pizza I have ever eaten (Italy, of course, remains unrivaled). The ambience was great, we sat comfortably in the “winter pavilion”. We were seated without a reservation on a Saturday evening. Please definitely try the limoncello! Divine!

Had dinner here with a few of my colleagues. The food was authentic, the drinks selection excellent and the service immaculate. What made the night especially enjoyable was the owner Enzo. He was a great host, very entertaining and made our evening really memorable. Salute!

We love this small, very chic restaurant in the heart of Walldorf. The food is always great, you can notice the freshness and quality. The whole thing is rounded off by very warm service.

What a cool location. A restaurant was conjured up out of a small nothing. Wonderful... there was tagliatelle made from parmesan cheese - something very special. The seafood salad was also delicious

The quality has deteriorated significantly and the pizza dough is now at the level of a frozen pizza, so it no longer does justice to the price. I have been a regular customer for about 3 years, but will now look for an alternative.

I've never experienced anything like this. Pizza was frozen quality and also over salted. After about 1 hour we were thrown out. The best thing is yet to come: I almost reached into my wallet when paying because it wasn't quick enough.

Like in Italy! Few tables and a meal like mom's in Sardinia! Was there with Italian friends from Milano! Excellent cuisine and everything fresh! The boss Enzo always has an open ear for his guests! I'm already looking forward to our next visit!!

I ate a Napoli pizza. In my opinion, the base was frozen goods - the toppings tasted good - but a pizza depends on its base. I can also do that at home. We wanted to order San Bitter as offered on the menu, as well as an apple juice spritzer. Neither was in stock.

What can I say? The pizza tasted like a slice of white bread with tomato paste and some crunchy rubber in the middle. Really a shame. Card payments are also not possible, which is absolutely outdated.

We ordered to go and found out they only accepted cash. They pointed me to a close atm and got everything taken care of. Food was very tasty and the inside of the establishment was nice. Definitely a place to go when visiting Walldorf.

The pizza had the quality of your average cheap frozen pizza. It is incomprehensible that this product gets good reviews. Card payment not possible. Not contemporary. The waiter was nice, but somehow strange with an active demand for tips. Never experienced anything like that.

Leuke plek met HEEL LANGE WACHTTIJD.. na 1 uur nog niks … eten is prima…al overheerst tomatensaus bij spinazie cannelloni pinnen kan niet en dan is t gokken … als je zegt dat je een salade als voorgerecht had (nebensalat ) blijkt er achteraf een grote berekend … teveel betaald dus … ok gaan we niet meer heen .

Klein aber fein! Kannte Da Pino aus der Vergangenheit nur vom Abholen (ist aber schon länger her). Mann kann dort aber sehr schön sitzen (sowohl drinnen, wie auch draußen). Alle unsere Speisen waren sehr schmackhaft und wir hatten alle etwa anderes. Für mich immer der Gradmesser eines guten Italieners – die perfekte Spaghetti Carbonara, wird ja oft und gerne mit Sahne (geht gar nicht) und Kochschinken gemacht. Hier schmeckt sie wirklich „alle mamma“, also mit Pancetta (oder vergleichbar). Wirklich sehr lecker. Der Service war sehr freundlich und sehr flott. Alles in Allem, ein sehr gelungener Abend – wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

The chairs had bird droppings on then which can be a significant source of infection. The salad was blant. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

A very nice Italian restaurant. The pizzas are very tasty and you can order them in 2 sizes. Very good if you're not really hungry. The service is always in a good mood.

Small but nice! I only knew Da Pino from picking up in the past (but that was a long time ago). But you can sit there very nicely (both inside and outside). All of our dishes were very tasty and we all had something different. For me, it's always the measure of a good Italian - the perfect spaghetti carbonara is often made with cream (not possible) and cooked ham. Here it really tastes “all mamma”, i.e. with pancetta (or comparable). Really very tasty. The service was very friendly and very quick. All in all, a very successful evening – we will definitely be back!

Italian restaurant with a focus on pizza and pasta but also a constantly changing weekly menu. We had pasta twice and a veal chop, everything tasted great and the portions were more than sufficient. The service was also very good, as was the price/performance ratio. We would love to come back...

Wir waren zu Dritt das erste Mal hier und sind äußerst zufrieden wieder nach Hause gegangen. Nettes italienisches Restaurant mit Schwerpunkt Pizza und Pasta aber auch zusätzlich eibe ständig wechselnde Wochenkarte. Wir hatten zweimal Pasta und ein Kalbskotelett, alles hat klasse geschmeckt und die Portionen waren mehr als ausreichend. Der Service war ebenfalls sehr in Ordnung, Preis/Leistung ebenso. Wi kommen gerne wieder...

Cute family owned Italian restaurant. Food was delicious, lots of drinks choices. Cozy and cute, it was quite full on a Tuesday evening, I would suggest reservations.

Diese kleine Pizzeria bietet exzellente Pizza und ein freundliches Personal. Die Preise liegen etwas über dem Durchschnitt, aber die Qualität rechtfertigt es definitiv. Das Besondere: Die Pizzeria wird von einem echten Italiener betrieben, was den authentischen Geschmack und das Flair nochmals unterstreicht.

Durchwachsene Erfahrung. Die Fanta war schal. Der Pizzabelag ist halb von der Pizza gerutscht, auch weil es einfach zu viel Käse war. Ich hatte selten so dreckige Hände nachdem ich Pizza gegessen habe. Der Pizzaboden war gut. Kartenzahlung wurde nicht angeboten.

Wat een fantastisch leuk restaurant. Beetje verscholen, in een rustige straat maar wat een gezellig terras. Ondanks het feit dat we niet gereserveerd hadden, konden we tussen een andere reservering door iets eten. En het eten was heerlijk! Ze hebben niet alleen pizza. En wat een klantvriendelijkheid; we kregen een likeurtje gratis. Je kunt alleen contant betalen. Dat wisten wij niet, maar we mochten even naar de geldautomaat lopen (op loopafstand). Goed vertrouwen dus ;-). Mochten we ooit weer in de buurt zijn: dit is echt the place to be!

Manchmal ist die Pizza super, manchmal aber viel zu dick (Teig). Pizza wird immer schlimmer.... Der Teig war überhaupt nicht durch. Knusprig ist anders.

Bester Italiener der Region. Hier kochen noch echte Italiener. Der Chef super nett und sympathisch. Romantisches Ambiente. Echter Geheimtip.

Leider war die Pizza für mich enttäuschend: Boden war mir viel zu dick und schmeckt leider nicht nach Steinofen. Der Salat war okay, die Nudelportion zu klein, dafür aber geschmacklich super. Hatten das Essen zum Abholen.

Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und aufmerksam, immer bereit, Empfehlungen zu geben und sicherzustellen, dass alle Bedürfnisse erfüllt werden. Nun zum Essen: Die Auswahl an Gerichten ist beeindruckend, und ich war von jedem einzelnen Bissen begeistert. Von den Vorspeisen bis zu den Desserts spiegelt jedes Gericht die authentischen Aromen und die hohe Qualität der italienischen Küche wider. Die Pasta war al dente gekocht, die Pizzen knusprig und köstlich, und die Fleisch- und Fischgerichte waren perfekt zubereitet. Die Weinkarte ist umfangreich und bietet eine Auswahl an exzellenten italienischen Weinen, die die Mahlzeiten wunderbar begleiten. Auch die Nachspeisen waren ein Traum, insbesondere das Tiramisu, das einen perfekten Abschluss für mein Dinner bildete. Insgesamt war mein Besuch im Restaurant Da Pino ein unvergessliches kulinarisches Erlebnis. Ich kann es uneingeschränkt empfehlen, wenn Sie nach einer erstklassigen italienischen Küche in Walldorf suchen. Mit exzellentem Essen, freundlichem Service und einer gemütlichen Atmosphäre verdient das Restaurant Da Pino definitiv 5 Sterne.

Pizzas aren't anything special but are okay. Very expensive. 12€ for a only okay tasting pizza is too much for my liking. Pasta is tasty but making it yourself is 90% cheaper and not that hard.

Tollen Salat als Starter und dann sehr leckere Pasta gegessen. Espresso war spitze und Grappa dazu. Fühlten uns wie in Italien. Sehr nette Bedienung.

Unschlagbar gut. Beste Pizzeria im gesamten Umkreis. Eine Tischreservierung muss man lange vorher ankündigen sonst kriegt man spontan keinen Platz. Inhaber ist ein Klasse Typ und die Gerichte sind unglaublich lecker.

Leckes italienisches Essen mit wechselnder Tageskarte. Besonders die Nudelspeisen sind zu empfehlen. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt. Freundlicher Chef und nette Bedienung. im Sommer kann man im Freien oder in einem gemütlichen kleinen Zelt sitzen.

Pizza heute, nach vorbestellung, abgeholt. Teig....ekelhaft, Käse ...ekelhaft! Alles zu weich und klebrig! Jede IGLO Pizza ist wohl besser!!!!
