Just ordered pizza there, a calzone for 13 euros. Contents (what little was inside), completely leaked and melted into the cardboard box. The rest is dry pizza dough. Landed in the bin after 3 forks. Once and never again.

Relaxed Italian restaurant in Haan. Food and service very good, ambience a bit loud but still cozy. The salad in particular was very tasty and fresh! Pasta is also highly recommended - it was even spontaneously possible to get the burrata pizza as a spaghetti dish. Class!

Better pizzeria in downtown Haan. Nice modern atmosphere. Pizza and pasta delicious. Friendly and fast service staff. Restaurant clean, but the stairs to the toilets were dirty and dusty.

Unfortunately after the move it wasn't as good as before. The pizzas looked great, but the taste was very bland. The service was friendly but unfortunately very nervous and disorganized.

Absolutely outstanding pizza - pretty much the best you can get in the area. Very good, high quality ingredients, perfectly prepared. The style is more Roman, but also a bit Neapolitan, an interesting mixture that I don't know from any other pizza - i.e. crispy, airy edge, but not as dominant as with a Neapolitan pizza. Very nice staff, a friendly family run business. The arancini are also absolutely delicious and highly recommended. And to those who give 1 star here - people, you don't order pizza to be delivered - this is a product that has to be eaten hot and fresh out of the oven. Even if you eat the pizza straight away, every pizza loses its taste and crispiness after 3/4 of it has been eaten - that's the nature of things - just because you CAN order it doesn't make sense to do that. If you do it anyway - it's your own fault, but the pizzeria can't help it - then you just have to have a biscuit pizza from the well-known chains delivered.

One of the best Italian restaurants in Haan. A varied selection of pizzas and pastas, available for pick-up or for a convivial dinner on site. I ordered a Quattro Formaggi pizza; This was the best of its kind I've eaten in a long time.

Pizza was very tasty, dough without yeast. Service could have an eye on all tables and not just individual tables. ;-) Alternatively, more service staff. However, all the employees are very friendly!

I love pizza but I very rarely eat pizza. There is pizza everywhere now, but really good ones are hard to find. I was blown away by Mamma Giusi. It's one of the best pizzas here in the region. The ingredients are fresh. The pizzas are airy and the quality is top. I would come here again at any time

I was in the restaurant with my wife for the first time. We were greeted very friendly and immediately felt at home. Pasta and desert were excellent. Unusual that there are no alcoholic drinks, but not a problem for us.

A nice Italian restaurant in the heart of Haan. We will definitely come back! We had the mixed antipasti plate with pizza rolls and herb butter, which we shared. Super class! Afterwards she had the Napoli pizza and I had the Capricciosa. We both had to leave a piece behind. With the best will in the world, it didn't fit anymore, although we were both sorry - especially since dessert, which we had actually planned, was carried past us. The restaurant is child-friendly. We observed 2 children between 2 and 3 years old who were treated as guests exactly as you would expect. That's great! It should also be mentioned that no alcoholic drinks are served. There is non-alcoholic beer and also wine. Otherwise delicious spritzers and the other usual soft drinks. Now comes a little criticism: The atmosphere/ambience is really nice in terms of furnishings, but the acoustics could be improved. The large glass walls reflect sound in all directions and make it difficult to have a conversation without having to speak loudly. Something would have to be done, then we would stay a while for a dessert or a coffee afterwards. If you're wondering about "only" 4 stars - 4 are excellent! 5 stars is a 1, everything has to be right.

Pizza and tiramisu, grade 1! The pizzas we ate were exceptionally good. Really, really tasty. For dessert, a tiramisu that was finally homemade. This only happens very rarely anymore. Dessert is usually convenience. Not here! Service polite and attentive. It's so delicious that even a glass Sauvignon or Merlot, in the evening, would go well. Please keep it up.

I was there for the first time with friends and two small children and it was really a 10/10. No matter whether it was pizza, pasta, puccia or dessert, we were really impressed with everything. The portions are super filling and simply delicious. It's a shame that I didn't take photos of all the dishes, because the eye definitely ate it!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the pizzeria and I simply loved it! The atmosphere was extremely welcoming and the staff radiated friendliness. The pizza I chose, the classic Margherita, was to die for. The base was perfectly crispy, the cheese was wonderfully melted and the tomato sauce was simply delicious. You can immediately tell that fresh, high-quality ingredients are used here. Particularly noteworthy is the accessibility of the pizzeria. There is a toilet for people with limited mobility and a changing room for babies, making the visit very pleasant for families and all guests. Overall, my visit was a complete pleasure! I can highly recommend this pizzeria to every pizza lover and am already looking forward to my next visit!

We drove an extra 40 minutes & it was worth it!! This restaurant was recommended to me & they said it was the BEST PIZZA. Of course I was skeptical, but wanted to try it out. Once there, we ordered bruschetta, 2 pizzas and tiramisu. In short: yes! It was the BEST PIZZA I had ever eaten! And apart from the pizza...the BEST bruschetta & the tastiest tiramisu. Pizza rolls with aioli arrived after 1 hour. The pizza was then added at the same time. Pizza tasted better in the pizzeria at the football field!

I have the feeling that the current restaurant has nothing to do with the restaurant at the sports field. It seems like they just bought the reputation and reviews. Three of us ate from there and all three of us had such stomach problems. Immediately after eating… The pizzas taste different, the pasta was completely different. There was a complete lack of seasoning (salt and pepper!), there were hardly any ingredients in the pasta, so very very little meat for example, and the hot sauce on the pizza wasn't spicy. And for this price I expect at least the same quality as the previous restaurant. At the sports field a 10/10! Unfortunately now only a 2/10!!!

I had the pleasure of visiting Pizzeria Da Mamma Giusi and I have nothing but positive things to say! The atmosphere was inviting and cozy, perfect for a relaxing evening. The selection of pizzas was impressive and I chose the classic burrata pizza 🍕 . The dough was perfectly crispy and the fresh ingredients really brought out the flavor. You can tell that the cooking here is done with a lot of love and passion! The service was also excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. I really didn't have a good day on Saturday and came to the restaurant quite late to get a salad to go. I was served so kindly and took home a very tasty Caesar salad that was freshly made just for me. The friendliness of the entire staff was really very special, that's not a given, especially at such a late time, so many thanks to the team!

We used to enjoy eating there and also ordering. The pizza still tastes the same as before, but no other pizzeria in Haan raises the price as much as they do here. That's enough, there are alternatives

We have been very satisfied customers of Mama Giusi for years!!! Now we were in the new premises and immediately all of us (10 people) felt really comfortable. I don't have any photos of the food, unfortunately, but I can say we were thrilled as always. There is no pizza that is as good for me/us in Haan or the surrounding area and the pasta (mom either makes all the pasta, but at least the lasagna noodles herself) is heavenly. I'm a fan of their lasagna. The menu also includes arancini, these delicious filled rice balls. Super good. But Mama Guisi and her employees are the real deal. Great restaurant👍🏻 a very nice atmosphere and hospitality. The pizzas were very, very tasty and tasted really Italian style. The starter with pizza rolls also with pickled vegetables, olive oil and garlic - the mixture was really great. The tiramisu dessert was also pretty good, everything tasted great 👍🏻😋. Have tested the new location! Unfortunately we are disappointed, the restaurant lacks charm and coziness. No music, completely stressed and disorganized staff, waited 35 minutes to order drinks. The main courses came about 20 minutes after ordering, then the starters and drinks another 5 minutes later. More than disorganized! What a shame! Despite everything, the pizza and antipasti were very tasty!

The size was way too small. The pizza only tasted like dough and was not properly topped at all. The pizza wasn't crispy. There were no onions on it despite the notice. The hot sauce wasn't spicy. All in all, absolutely not recommended. Not justified for the price. Simply outrageous to sell something like that to the guest. One less customer.

We ordered because it looks technically poor in Hilden Pizza. But here we finally found a pizzeria that knows how to do it. Had Frutti di Mare. Finally again with real mussels etc. Very fresh and the dough is also nice and fluffy. Pizza is simply great. Delivery time also met. We will order again.

We've been here several times before, but this time the pizza wasn't what we were used to. Pizza Funghi was stretched with canned mushrooms. I don't think that works at all.

Well, actually I can't write a review because there was nothing to rate. We were there because our regular pizzeria was closed and we thought we'd try a new one. We got there and checked in with the waitress who was talking to guests. We were greeted and she continued her conversation, we waited and waited and waited, she talked and talked. Then the guests left and the waitress wanted to serve other guests a bottle of water (we were still waiting) unfortunately the bottle fell over and the waitress disappeared to get a new one. In the meantime other guests arrived. The waitress brought the water to the guests and then took care of the new guests and helped move tables and chairs, we were still waiting. Since we didn't get a menu or drinks, we weren't even asked, we left. Otherwise we would probably have starved. I would like to say that the restaurant was hardly crowded, so the good lady had all the time in the world to serve us.

We just ordered for the first time via Lieferando. At first you think wow because the pizza was still steaming when the lady put it on the door. Unfortunately, the pizza is totally soggy, has no crispy whatsoever and only tastes like dough. Pizza not sliced ​​and no garlic as requested in the notes. Ordered for the first time (pickup) and was immediately impressed. Friendly staff. The ambience was cool too. And most importantly...it was delicious. A small note: the "herb butter" wasn't butter for me - more like a cream 😃 ... but still delicious. I would love to come back and can only recommend it. Thank you Addendum (April 2024): The second time we ordered. Unfortunately we weren't happy this time. The quality of the pizza was different. I can't compare it with the first time at all... but unfortunately worse. The second pizza was completely wrong. It would be exchanged without any problems and the correct one would be brought fresh. But eating together was no longer possible because there was a lot to do and unfortunately it took a long time. We ordered as soon as it opened in the afternoon. Rush hour? No idea. I would give it all another chance. But since I have two Top Pizza suppliers, one of which is "The Best", I probably won't be able to do so any time soon. I changed the stars a little 🥺 sorry.

On the way back from a trip to Neandertal we spontaneously decided to stop by da Mamma Giusi. An absolute stroke of luck, as it turned out. We were warmly welcomed by the team, the atmosphere is very cozy. The outdoor terrace has a great summer atmosphere and I'm already looking forward to drinking a wine there. The food was served very quickly and the pizzas tasted great. You can notice a clear difference to “standard pizzas”; the long dough flow makes them particularly crispy. The highlight for our daughter was the homemade cheesecake, garnished with a great fruit compote and fresh fruit. Everything is homemade and you can taste it too. We will definitely come back.

We were in the restaurant for the first time yesterday. We had already used the delivery service several times. The pizza is simply to die for. I haven't eaten anything better than this in Germany. Small but cozy, in warm weather you can sit outside with a view of the sports field. I think pizza is very good and we are happy to accommodate any special requests. Salad with several dressings, and I also got some dressing. Service very nice and attentive. I meet up there with a friend every now and then and we're always very happy.

“Small and beautiful”! Were visiting Haan and the pizzas were recommended to us. And they were great! Cozy inside, nice staff. We will eat pizza there again when we are in Haan.

First about the pizza: On the way to the table I saw that the pizza oven was only 300 degrees. It was clear that there would be no Neapolitan pizza on the plate here and I was very skeptical. Nevertheless, the pizzas were very good and had plenty of toppings. There are good 4 stars for that. About the service: Waiting an hour for food to be on the table is definitely too long. Otherwise the service was good. Unfortunately, these are only mediocre 3 stars. About the ambience: Way too narrow. Half of the tables are directly at the counter. Since the pizza oven is in the guest room and not in a separate kitchen and the room is poorly ventilated, the air is also bad and our clothes still smelled extremely of food the next day. Therefore only 3 stars for that. For the price of: According to the menu, the price is actually OK for the rich toppings and size. I think it's normal if additional toppings are charged. But I think it's a shame that every exchange of coverings is priced here. And what, in my opinion, is not right at all if my wife forgoes the onions in her pizza and I would like to have them on my pizza and then be asked to pay extra for it. There is definitely no additional effort here. On balance, these are only a medium 3 stars. Overall conclusion: The pizzas were really very good, even if not Neapolitan style. Instead of eating in the restaurant on site, I would have it delivered. Therefore overall just 4 stars. (Which, in my opinion, is still a good rating. With a current average of 4.9, I expect outstanding food, perfect service in a magnificent ambience. How the previous ratings have come to this level is inexplicable to me)

Great crispy pizza, large and plenty of toppings. Lots of variations, very tasty. Good price-performance ratio. The pasta was also very tasty, large portion and tasty. Very nice, warm service, we felt welcome from the start. Highly recommend dessert, we also really enjoyed the starters. We were here with friends and had a very nice evening with good food and good hospitality. We'd love to come back

Die Getränke und die Vorspeise haben viel zu lange gedauert. Dafür war die Vorspeise richtig lecker! Die Pizzen kamen nach dem Abräumen sehr schnell. Auch super interessant vom Geschmack. Die Tomatensauce war etwas sparsam verteilt,aber der Rest war ok. Was wir nicht empfehlen können,ist das Tiramisu. Die Nachspeise ging zurück. Viel zu flüssig,viel zu süß. Noch nie so ein schlechtes Dessert gegessen!

Vor Ort eine schöne Pizzeria, Pizza ist auch durchweg lecker. Möglichst nicht über Lieferando bestellen. Wenn viel los ist, stehen dort dann abenteuerlich kurze Lieferzeiten, die nicht einzuhalten sind, und man ist sauer, obwohl die Leute von Mamma Giusi nicht wirklich was dafür können. Ruft einfach an, dann wisst ihr, woran ihr seid und könnt entscheiden.

Haben dort am letzten Freitag Geburtstag gefeiert. Super Location und sehr sehr nettes und aufmerksames Personal. Kommen auf jeden Fall wieder
