I can imagine eating there again if I'm ever in the area. Unfortunately, it was very loud and crowded, making conversation quite difficult unless you huddled together at your table. However, people still seem to enjoy the restaurant. So, if you like a lively Italian pizzeria with good food and are willing to spend a bit more than usual, this is the place for you.

Unfortunately, I don't live in Haan. I ate there in February 2025 and again in December 2025 – it was always a delight! Whether it was pizza, pasta, or schnitzel with cream and mushrooms, my wife and son were also very satisfied. We visit Haan from Hamburg every now and then and will gladly return again and again. Lastly, and I almost shouldn't mention this, the prices are very fair. Excellent.

Authentic Neapolitan pizza Delicious! Great service and atmosphere, and all this in Klein Haan!

The food is absolutely delicious, and the portions are generously sized. My girlfriend had the tagliatelle with salmon and spinach, and I had the cannelloni. The pizzas that were being served looked very tasty as well. We were there on Saturday from 6 pm to 9 pm, and it was very crowded and, consequently, quite noisy. That's just my impression, though, because the place was packed. The service was very attentive and friendly, even with the busy atmosphere. Thank you for a wonderful evening. We will definitely be back.

We dropped by on a whim and received a very warm welcome. The service was attentive and excellent. We had an appetizer, salad, and pizza. Every dish was delicious! The portion sizes were perfect, and the food and drinks were all top-notch! We'll definitely be back!

Hello everyone, We ordered for delivery yesterday. Before ordering, we called to ask about the approximate delivery time. It was a Saturday, and they said about 45-60 minutes. That was OK, we ordered, and the delivery arrived within 35 minutes. Great! The food was delicious, as always; that's what good service means!

We've eaten at Mama Giusi's several times and were impressed every time. The pizzas are absolutely excellent. Now we celebrated at home with 15 people and had Mama Giusi's food delivered. The personal consultation for the dishes was very friendly and uncomplicated. The food was delivered exactly on time. Several very large family pizzas and pasta dishes, as well as salads and pizza rolls. Everyone enjoyed their food and was impressed by the quality. The pizzas were very well topped, and the various pasta dishes were also excellent. The price was unbeatable; the value for money was very good. So, a clear top recommendation from us!

This is the best pizza I've ever eaten in my entire life. My new favorite place to eat with my fiancé.

We were actually looking forward to the evening – the menu looked promising. Unfortunately, that was just our first impression. The waitress barely spoke German, so we had to repeat our order several times. There was no wine list (really unusual for an Italian restaurant!). Instead, we could only choose between three grape varieties, and the waitress herself didn't know which was the driest. The wine arrived at the table already opened in a cooler, without a taste, without pouring, and without a napkin for the dripping bottle. After waiting for over 30 minutes, I received my appetizer and main course at the same time. The Carpaccio di Manzo was disappointing: watery, drenched in lemon, without salt or pepper, garnished with wilted arugula and thick chunks of cheese instead of fine Parmesan. No oil, balsamic vinegar, or spices were even offered. The pizza, on the other hand, was okay, but nothing special.

First visit to the new location at Haaner Markt. Quite busy for a Thursday. Service was friendly and decent. The food was also on the table in a reasonable amount of time. It's unfortunate these days that you won't find any real Italians serving you here. And the prices aren't what they used to be either. Just under €80, which was partly due to the fact that we had several glasses of wine.

The food at the pizzeria was truly delicious – we were all completely satisfied with our pizzas and appetizers. The ambiance was also nice and inviting. Unfortunately, the service significantly dampened the overall positive impression. The staff seemed overwhelmed, disorganized, and unfortunately unfriendly. Simple questions were met with eye rolls. In the end, I wanted my pizza wrapped – they forgot, and it was thrown away. What a shame.

Unfortunately, when you eat in, it always takes quite a while to be served; they're still missing that finishing touch. Sometimes, they forget to call ahead, so I have to wait, so only three stars for the service. Unfortunately, the orders always arrive incorrectly; either an ingredient is missing or the tomato sauce is completely off. The pizza itself, however, is great when you pick it up.

This opinion actually only refers to the food; we have never been there and were able to experience the service and the ambience. Ordered there for the second time, of course because the first experience was very positive. I'll keep it short and sweet: The second time was worlds better, The toppings are very, very fresh and sometimes crunchy. We even really wanted to eat the edge because the dough was very, very good! Very few can. The prawns/gambas were real hits, probably not pre-cooked, because they were really perfectly crunchy and juicy. The dessert topped off the whole experience. I'm looking forward to a pizza on site.... An overview of the points: Dough 10 out of 10 Cheese 9 out of 10 Shrimp 10 out of 10 Garlic oil 10 out of 10 Olives 5 out of 10 (Kalama would be better. meh. Food isn't bad, but I've been here for 2 hours. The staff is very slow. I simply waited an hour for my food and the bill was simply forgotten. I would recommend it for the food, but you definitely have to have a lot of time and patience.

The pizza is unbeatable, juicy toppings, fantastic dough, crispy, fluffy, good size. We were surprised at the small amount of noodles. They said they were weighed, 80 grams, that's the usual general rule. Then I googled it. They say 110 is the common guideline. In relation to the price (and appetite), really not enough. Otherwise pleasant atmosphere, very comfortable to sit, friendly staff.

We went to Pizzeria Da Mamma Giusi yesterday with a large group and had a really great evening. The owner was very accommodating and made it possible for us to come with a few more people - really great! The starters were delicious, the service was very friendly and attentive. I had the spaghetti with shrimps in tomato sauce, and it was simply delicious! There was only positive feedback from my colleagues too - everyone really enjoyed the food. What we particularly liked: We were able to sit for a long time, celebrate a bit with the group and had a really nice time. You immediately notice that this is a family-run restaurant - warm, hospitable and with great attention to detail. An absolute recommendation! We'll definitely be back.

The BEST filled pizza rolls and pizzas we have ever eaten!!!! It wasn't just the pizza rolls that were phenomenal... EVERYTHING we ordered was a delight. Yesterday we went to “Da Mamma Giusi” at the new market in Haan for the first time. Behind Mamma Giusi is Giuseppa Maienza, the soul of the house. She found the time to personally serve us her delicacies and we were able to learn from her how much hard work and love goes into preparing the dishes. Never tasted such good pizza in Haan! Mamma Giusi has managed to produce a special, tasty dough over the decades... The restaurant itself has a very nice, bright, modern, cozy atmosphere. Unfortunately, I discovered that the lasagna was more like tomato soup and there were hardly any lasagna sheets available, which doesn't justify the price at all! Your other dishes are quite good, which is why this lasagna was a real disappointment! I hope this was an isolated incident!

We were very disappointed the first time. It all took far too long and people weren't friendly either. I ordered a salami pizza with additional mushrooms and ham. The card didn't say what would be charged extra for this. Others charge €1 to €1/50 per additional occupancy. Here I paid €3 per occupancy. There is no pizza on the menu that is more expensive even though there is more on it. We then said everyone gets a second chance. We ordered home for four people. My wife ordered a large Mista salad for €9 which was no bigger than a side salad. Disappointing. I bought 8 filled pizza rolls with... Ordered?! I know from others that “with” salami or ham! So I ordered 4 with ham and 4 with salami. Then came the shock with the bill. Instead of 7/50€ I had to pay 13/50€! That's enough now and I can't recommend such a rip-off.

We had two different pasta dishes that were extremely tasty. The pistachio tiramisu was delicious. As is usual with many Italian restaurants, I recommend offering some bread or pizza balls as a "greeting from the kitchen" before serving the main courses to bridge the waiting time for the food.

Just ordered pizza there, a calzone for 13 euros. Contents (what little was inside), completely leaked and melted into the cardboard box. The rest is dry pizza dough. Landed in the bin after 3 forks. Once and never again.

Relaxed Italian restaurant in Haan. Food and service very good, ambience a bit loud but still cozy. The salad in particular was very tasty and fresh! Pasta is also highly recommended - it was even spontaneously possible to get the burrata pizza as a spaghetti dish. Class!

Absolutely outstanding pizza - pretty much the best you can get in the area. Very good, high quality ingredients, perfectly prepared. The style is more Roman, but also a bit Neapolitan, an interesting mixture that I don't know from any other pizza - i.e. crispy, airy edge, but not as dominant as with a Neapolitan pizza. Very nice staff, a friendly family run business. The arancini are also absolutely delicious and highly recommended. And to those who give 1 star here - people, you don't order pizza to be delivered - this is a product that has to be eaten hot and fresh out of the oven. Even if you eat the pizza straight away, every pizza loses its taste and crispiness after 3/4 of it has been eaten - that's the nature of things - just because you CAN order it doesn't make sense to do that. If you do it anyway - it's your own fault, but the pizzeria can't help it - then you just have to have a biscuit pizza from the well-known chains delivered.

I was in the restaurant with my wife for the first time. We were greeted very friendly and immediately felt at home. Pasta and desert were excellent. Unusual that there are no alcoholic drinks, but not a problem for us.

A nice Italian restaurant in the heart of Haan. We will definitely come back! We had the mixed antipasti plate with pizza rolls and herb butter, which we shared. Super class! Afterwards she had the Napoli pizza and I had the Capricciosa. We both had to leave a piece behind. With the best will in the world, it didn't fit anymore, although we were both sorry - especially since dessert, which we had actually planned, was carried past us. The restaurant is child-friendly. We observed 2 children between 2 and 3 years old who were treated as guests exactly as you would expect. That's great! It should also be mentioned that no alcoholic drinks are served. There is non-alcoholic beer and also wine. Otherwise delicious spritzers and the other usual soft drinks. Now comes a little criticism: The atmosphere/ambience is really nice in terms of furnishings, but the acoustics could be improved. The large glass walls reflect sound in all directions and make it difficult to have a conversation without having to speak loudly. Something would have to be done, then we would stay a while for a dessert or a coffee afterwards. If you're wondering about "only" 4 stars - 4 are excellent! 5 stars is a 1, everything has to be right.

Pizza and tiramisu, grade 1! The pizzas we ate were exceptionally good. Really, really tasty. For dessert, a tiramisu that was finally homemade. This only happens very rarely anymore. Dessert is usually convenience. Not here! Service polite and attentive. It's so delicious that even a glass Sauvignon or Merlot, in the evening, would go well. Please keep it up.

I was there for the first time with friends and two small children and it was really a 10/10. No matter whether it was pizza, pasta, puccia or dessert, we were really impressed with everything. The portions are super filling and simply delicious. It's a shame that I didn't take photos of all the dishes, because the eye definitely ate it!

The pizza I chose, the classic Margherita, was to die for. The base was perfectly crispy, the cheese was wonderfully melted and the tomato sauce was simply delicious. You can immediately tell that fresh, high-quality ingredients are used here. Particularly noteworthy is the accessibility of the pizzeria. There is a toilet for people with limited mobility and a changing room for babies, making the visit very pleasant for families and all guests. Overall, my visit was a complete pleasure! I can highly recommend this pizzeria to every pizza lover and am already looking forward to my next visit!

We drove an extra 40 minutes & it was worth it!! This restaurant was recommended to me & they said it was the BEST PIZZA. Of course I was skeptical, but wanted to try it out. Once there, we ordered bruschetta, 2 pizzas and tiramisu. In short: yes! It was the BEST PIZZA I had ever eaten! And apart from the pizza...the BEST bruschetta & the tastiest tiramisu. I have the feeling that the current restaurant has nothing to do with the restaurant at the sports field. It seems like they just bought the reputation and reviews. Three of us ate from there and all three of us had such stomach problems. Immediately after eating… The pizzas taste different, the pasta was completely different. There was a complete lack of seasoning (salt and pepper!), there were hardly any ingredients in the pasta, so very very little meat for example, and the hot sauce on the pizza wasn't spicy. And for this price I expect at least the same quality as the previous restaurant. At the sports field a 10/10! Unfortunately now only a 2/10!!!
