Pizzeria Da Gloria in Paderborn

As always: for a good pizza, you should go to an Italian restaurant! And for a good Wiener Schnitzel, go to a traditional restaurant. The pizza had a thick crust and was covered in cheese, and the schnitzel was thin and hard. The Veltins was delicious, and the service was friendly.

The food arrived very quickly. The value for money was ideal, and the staff was very friendly. There was a lovely atmosphere there. We'd be happy to come back!

A few years ago, Da Gloria was a cozy place where you could meet up with friends and have a great meal. In recent months, the food hasn't tasted good anymore. The atmosphere isn't right. They don't even offer delivery. A 45-minute wait turned into a full three hours. Never again. A shame.

Can you also give a minus? 3 hours, supposedly, but 45 minutes. Cold. And the best part: I ordered 4 times on different days. At first, I thought I'd made a mistake myself. So I paid extra attention the next time... -> total crap again. When I call to ask, they say a second delivery is coming. And nothing comes... For those prices, you could... oh man. NO

The service was simply disastrous. There's no one available or responsible—you feel completely ignored. I placed my order and only received a call after more than an hour—without an apology, mind you—telling me that it would take at least another hour because they were supposedly "too busy." In the end, the delivery took a full two hours. This is absolutely unacceptable. Never again!

The food at Pezzaria was really good. The pizza had a super crispy base, fresh ingredients, and just the right amount of toppings—not too much, not too little. You can tell the love goes into the cooking here. The service was also relaxed and attentive. If you like good pizza, this is definitely the place for you.

Da Gloria sounds very Italian at first. Far from it. My pizza doesn't deserve that name. By far the worst pizza I've had in years. The crust is rock hard and not typically Italian. The taste is so-so. The cheese is substandard. To the owners: go to a really good pizzeria once and be inspired. You won't go back a second time.

It was my first time there, the friendliness was simply 0 😱, cleanliness was also a big and fat 0, the boss, if you can call him that, came with a big mouth full of cash and still had a pizza roll in his hand 😡... I ordered a maxi pizza and it wasn't a medium, the pizza dough was very thin and the toppings were also sad... Blowing my nose and running through the store was a disaster, the toilets were right next to the kitchen, the cleanliness was a disaster... Pizza tasted like I've never eaten such a bad pizza. Never... The pizza stank, oh I don't know, but it's terrible. Mini pizzas at Lidl are better, believe me. Never in my life will I eat there again.

Yesterday (June 2025) I went there again... unfortunately it was nothing. The quality of the food has deteriorated considerably for the second time. The food wasn't as good as before, unfortunately...😞 the consistency of the spaghetti was good, but it lacked salt and pepper, the tomatoes were inconsistent - finely chopped bland tomatoes, a few halved date tomatoes, the shrimp not cleaned properly. And why not garnished with fresh herbs? That was nothing!!! Great food there again today (June 1, 2020). As always, everything was okay, really great dough and pasta, great staff. You feel very comfortable here, in summer, in winter... always... all the food and drinks are delicious and good, there's a wide selection, also suitable for vegetarians. Ate excellent tagliatelle with huge crab on February 25, 2020. The dish of the day was also very good. I can't understand the constant complaining.

The boss is extremely unfriendly and complains when he sees that you haven't sat up. So unprofessional and it wasn't the first time. He also started discussing with my girlfriend why she always leaves something on her plate and can't finish it. When she asked him what the problem was, he just looked annoyed. Very unfortunate

You better finish your food! ..the owner seems to have a problem with it if you don't finish eating, unfortunately it has often been the case that comments have been made, but on Saturday he came to my table and told me to please finish eating because I never finish eating, in an annoyed tone. I didn't think that's possible, that's not what you're doing. After all, I'm paying for the food doesn't feel well... That was also my last visit to the store, actually a shame, as I said, the food is great, I've never had any problems with it, my friend was also approached because she left something on her plate!!

Such a nice place, really nice, cozy shop. The food (we had pizza) was really great, well topped, crispy, and extra requests were accepted without hesitation! ❤️ It was a delicious evening! Gladly again

We had ordered pizza and fries and had to wait almost 2 hours for it. The pizza was already cold and the fries were very soggy. You absolutely can't recommend something like that. Unbelievable for just under 1 km and 2 hours

I've ordered food for delivery via Uber or Lieferando several times and can't really complain. The delivery time is always slightly longer than the specified period, usually approx. 30 minutes but the food still arrives hot and well packaged, so it's not a big deal. There is a large selection of casseroles that I enjoy eating and since I don't eat meat, I enjoy the variety of vegetarian options. Other pizzerias often have ham or minced meat in almost every casserole, so I'm pleased that this isn't the case here. In addition, the dishes all taste great, not bland at all, that's how it should be. The pizzas are also good, crispy and not too greasy. I particularly like the salads, nothing has wilted, everything is crisp and fresh and instead of just iceberg lettuce, which doesn't contain any nutrients anyway, you also have a nice portion of rocket. The dressing is packed separately and not poured over the salad, which I think is very important! The homemade tiramisu is super delicious and I like to order it again and again. All in all a good pizzeria with fair prices.

It arrived 2 hours 15 minutes after ordering. The pizzas were topped so sparingly, I've never had it like this in a restaurant. They were at least a little warm, but the edge was already pretty hard. Very unfortunate

Unfriendly on the phone. We ordered for €70 The pizza didn't taste good. The dough was very thin and burnt. Wanted to speak to the owner was and and friendly on the phone and didn't want to say his name. Wanted to discuss the situation objectively in a good conversation. For me it wasn't about money but about principles. If no one is willing to talk about such a situation and doesn't accept their mistakes, I won't order anymore and won't recommend it

You shouldn't order from Pizzeria Da Gloria!!! The order doesn't arrive and you then have to deal with payment service providers. We placed an order for four people on Friday via the homepage (which is listed on Google). After paying, a window popped up saying you had to wait for a response from the restaurant. After about 10 minutes I called the restaurant and wanted to inquire about the current status. A rather unfriendly employee pointed out to me that they don't have a homepage. After the phone call, we checked the homepage and phone number again and called them again. Then we were told rather rudely that they were no longer working with the company and that he couldn't do anything about the money. We don't understand why you can still order through it. I am now in contact with a payment service provider so that we can get the money back.

Stay away from the website! Ordered there directly but didn't get a confirmation. After calling, I was told that they don't have their own website where you can order and that this site belongs to someone else! After 3 days the order was confirmed and after another day the money was even debited via Paypal. Of course the food never arrived...

Nice place, good atmosphere, there is a toilet (this is rare in local places). I ordered a caprese pizza, the waiting time was more than 20 minutes, the pizza had big thick tomatoes and no mozzarella, it disappointed me. I hope your restaurant can improve the quality of the products you serve, but otherwise everything is fine.

I was really looking for a cafe where you can eat something tasty and authentic. Because, as a rule, there are only cafes with ice cream. The food was delicious. The service is pleasant and fast. The atmosphere is cozy with calm music. Thanks to the staff. I will definitely come back here again

Whoever was there today, the food was ok. Ate pizza palo. The holondese was probably made directly on the pizza, so it was done and not fresh. Of course it tastes very buttery, the tomato sauce on the pizza was good and fruity. The service was nice, polite and attentive, that's why the shop gets a 3/5 overall but I also found it a bit expensive for what was offered...

The average for an Italian I would say. Went there spontaneously on a Saturday without a reservation. The waitress was very friendly, including to our children. The restaurant was bright, friendly and clean. Drinks were good, I ordered a large spritzer for my two children. The waitress was so friendly and divided it into two glasses without asking. As well as the children's shared pizza directly on two separate plates. My pasta was very good and tasty. The pizza wasn't my cup of tea, but the kids enjoyed it. Bread was served with the dishes. The waitress was very attentive as she had heard that I didn't find the pasta very spicy as advertised. She came straight away and asked, then brought me pepperoni in oil, which was very tasty. Super attentive. Unfortunately the toilet wasn't clean, that was a drawback. Since it is a bit narrower, I would say it is not suitable or rather difficult for people with disabilities or wheelchairs etc.

Well, my sweethearts, if you're a connoisseur and like to munch on something delicious, you should just stop by the Pizzeria da Gloria in Paderborn and order something delicious to your liking. I can tell you that you won't regret it, sauces as well as meat and all sorts of other things super tasty, super hot when arrived at the table, it couldn't be better, certainly you could complain at the highest level, we don't want to have many things made more modern and repaired, but the rest is simply unique, thanks also for the second nice service, your chubby fairy 🌈🦄

I'm kind of frustrated. This was the worst Parma pizza I have ever eaten. There wasn't even arugula or parmesan on it. Just a Margherita with 2 carelessly placed slices of ham.

I ordered via Lieferando and the food arrived on time (1 hour). However, I have to say that the pizza didn't even arrive lukewarm. I'm sure if it had arrived warm it would have been delicious too. But halfway through the pizza it was really cold and the edges were so hard, can't put it into other words.

We were served personally by the owner and ordered two pizzas with the note Schlemmerblock 2/1 voucher. From then on his mood suddenly changed and we were thrown out... It's a mystery to me why people would take part in this campaign and then throw their guests out in anger! In any case, it was a unique experience

I ordered a 40 at 6:58 p.m. The delivery arrived in about 58 minutes. It didn't arrive until around 8:45 p.m., and it was cold too. I gave the pizza back to the delivery person...kind of embarrassing people. Please don't order there! I don't pay 17 for a 40 pizza that arrives 45 minutes late and is cold. This is a garnish. We were there with eight people, everyone enjoyed it - good, we had to wait a bit for the food, but that was ok. The waiter was friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant.

Good evening, I've called twice now. According to the receipt, the order was with them at 7:18 p.m. 1st call 8:10 p.m. Driver is on the way / journey 7 min 2nd call called again at 8:35 p.m. Had a breakdown, replacement car is on the way. 3rd call 8:57 p.m. Driver arrives I've just spoken to the driver on the phone. 9:03 p.m. Driver is there. PIZZA ice cold Tortellini ice cold.

Pizzeria I would say is the safe option for vegetarisch pizza and margarita. I have tried both and liked the taste of both but vegetarisch more than margarita for sure. I had also tried Tiramisu here but didn’t quite like it. The atmosphere of this restaurant is bit cozy but neat. All the vegetarians options are clearly mentioned on the menu which makes it more convenient. The staff are also friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place for vegetarisch pizza.

Hier kann man sehr gut essen, die Bedienung ist total nett. Wir waren bestimmt nicht das letzte mal hier. Bei unserem nächsten PB-Besuch essen wir wieder hier.

Super freundliche Bedienung, sehr leckere Pizza und Nudeln. Das Ambiente ist eher einfach, dafür sind Essen und Trinken nicht zu teuer. Wenn wir nochmal in Paderborn sind kommen wir bestimmt wieder.

Leckere Pizza, aufmerksames Personal

Das Essen war schmackhaft, aber durchschnittlich. Der Service war ähnlich, aber trotzdem zu empfehlen, wenn man auswärts Speisen möchte.

Kleine , saubere Pizzeria . Das Essen hat geschmeckt . Preise waren in Ordnung . Aber man sitzt irgendwie wie gedrängt , weil halt der Platz fehlt . Das ist schade und darum möchte man dort auch nicht unbedingt länger als nötig sitzen . Es wäre nicht meine Wahl , für öftere Besuche .

Das Essen war lecker aber für mich etwas zu geschmacksarm :)

Pizza war geschmacklos und bei der Rucola Pizza waren Grashalme zwischen dem Rucola. Die Bedienung meinte dazu nur sie sagt in der Küche bescheid.

Ich hatte kürzlich das Vergnügen, die Pizzeria Da Gloria zu besuchen, und wurde von dem köstlichen Pollo al Forno sowie dem erfrischenden Pilzbier begeistert. Die Pizzeria Da Gloria ist ein gemütlicher Ort mit einer einladenden Atmosphäre. Das freundliche Personal und die angenehme Einrichtung sorgen dafür, dass man sich sofort wohl und willkommen fühlt. Das Restaurant ist sauber und gut gepflegt, was zu einer angenehmen Essensumgebung beiträgt. Das Pollo al Forno, das ich bestellte, war einfach fantastisch. Das Hähnchen war saftig, zart und perfekt gewürzt. Die Haut war knusprig und golden gebraten, was dem Gericht eine zusätzliche Textur und Geschmackstiefe verlieh. Jeder Bissen war ein Genuss, und die Aromen des Hähnchens waren perfekt ausbalanciert. Das Pollo al Forno bei Pizzeria Da Gloria ist definitiv ein Highlight und ein Gericht, das Sie nicht verpassen sollten. Was das Pilzbier betrifft, war es eine angenehme Überraschung. Das Bier hatte einen aromatischen Pilzgeschmack, der subtil und doch bemerkenswert war. Es war erfrischend und ging gut mit dem Essen einher. Das Pilzbier war eine interessante und einzigartige Ergänzung zu meiner Mahlzeit und hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen. Der Service bei Pizzeria Da Gloria war ebenfalls ausgezeichnet. Das Personal war freundlich, aufmerksam und bemüht, dass es uns an nichts fehlte. Insgesamt kann ich die Pizzeria Da Gloria wärmstens empfehlen. Das freundliche Personal und die angenehme Atmosphäre machen den Besuch zu einem rundum gelungenen Erlebnis. Besuchen Sie die Pizzeria Da Gloria und lassen Sie sich von den köstlichen Speisen und Getränken verwöhnen!

Das Essen ist IMMER super lecker. Der Service ist auch hervorragend! Ich habe selbstverschuldet ein falsches Gericht bekommen, da ich vergessen hatte zu erwähnen, dass ich keinen Schinken möchte. Da wurde mir direkt ein neues Gericht geschickt und nicht einmal berechnet, obwohl der Fehler wie gesagt meine eigene Schuld war. Alles in allem mein Lieblingsrestaurant in Paderborn.

1,5 Stunden Lieferzeit, obwohl 45 min angegeben waren. Pizza und Cannelloni schmecken leider überhaupt nicht. Pizza Brötchen scheinen von gestern gewesen zu sein...

Leider kann ich nur 2 Sterne vergeben. Es wurde die falsche Beilage (Pommes statt Tagliatelle) serviert. Kellnerin bestritt, das ich das bei Ihr so geordert hatte. Beilage wurde dann nachgeliefert, doch das Hähnchen war schon kalt geworden. Geschmacklich grade noch OK, war es leider nicht ganz mein Fall. Beobachtung nebenbei. Ein älteres Paar am Tisch nebenan bestellten je eine Pizza. Ich wunderte mich schon das die "Dinger" sehr blass und teigig aussahen. Beim Abräumen wurde die Frage, ob es geschmeckt hätte, vehement verneint. Das konnte man auch daran erkennen, das eigentlich 2/3 der Pizza wieder zurück ging. Wiederholungsfaktor liegt bei 0%. Sorry, da gibt es im nahen Umfeld weitaus bessere Italiener für's gleiche Geld!

Das Gute zuerst - schnelle Lieferung (war nicht immer so!!!) Die Pizza Capricciosa 40 cm - 19,00€ war okay. Den gemischten Salat dazu (6,00 €), naja selber schuld. Abgerechnet wurden 28,00€. Lieferung Südstadt. Alles in allem, leider nur....

Habe eine Pizza und Pizzabrötchen zum liefern gehabt.. Absolut begeistert bin recht bewandert was Pizza angeht und ein aussergewöhnlich leckerer und softer Teig ist hier zu finden sowie grosszügige Belegung und sogar frische Ananas auf der Hawaiipizza.. Eine Seltenheit! Keine Schwierigkeit hier 5 Sterne zu geben.. Wir kommen bald persönlich vorbei, bisher die beste Pizza der Stadt für mich. ;) Bis dahin, weiter so und Leute lasst es euch schmecken.
