The pizza arrived uncut and cold and tasted bad. The toppings are peeling off the pizza. The lasagna doesn't taste good at all, and any meat in it has a questionable consistency. The tiramisu, which costs €4, weighs about 100g and is pre-packaged, meaning it's not homemade and is tiny. It looks like the tiramisu from Edeka, which costs €1 there. The price is far too high; given the quality, you should be paid to eat it.

Never again – disgusting food at Da Giovanni. The pizza was a disgrace. Delivered cold, the dough tough as leather, the seafood seemed raw and tasted disgusting. There was even a hair on top – absolutely unhygienic. The taste was a complete disaster, almost like food poisoning. For a supposedly Italian pizza, this was simply disappointing. Delivery was late. This was our first and last attempt. One star is already way too many.

It's crazy how someone can sell something like this with a clear conscience... I'm not a reviewer, but the experience is truly worth it. I can only repeat what many have already written here with negative reviews. Delivery time was way over the stated time; it wouldn't be a problem if they were at least notified. Regarding the food: Awful, sticky, poorly topped, cold pizza. Tortellini Rimini didn't have the meat filling as advertised, and there were leftover salmon in the sauce... Neither of us are fish eaters, so it wasn't ideal... And the best for last, the dessert, a truly Italian tiramisu! At least that's what we thought! But, it was clearly from the discount store next door, still nicely packaged in its original plastic.... Respect, guys!

It's astonishing that a guy like that hasn't closed down his shop yet. Hygiene is disgusting and you don't even need to start with the taste. If you're reading this, dear boss, you should try your pizza yourself. By the time you get to that point, you'll have noticed that it tastes simply awful. :(

Bottomless, a disgrace to every Italian, every shitty frozen lasagna tastes a thousand times better than the crap I just ordered today... I should have spent the €17 at McDonalds. It's really questionable that the store is still holding up.

The only Italian thing is the name. Delivery time over 1 hour. Exceeded 125 min. at noon at 3:00 p.m. where there isn't usually much going on. After calling several times, I received a call back from the supplier saying they would be there in 5 minutes! I stand at the hospital for 37 minutes. In the cold and the two of them come up and laugh. Regarding pizza: every kebab shop makes a better one. Cheapest of cheapest. It doesn't work that way! I hope the store closes soon, it's only still open due to low ordering costs. The cola was good, hence the one star.

I ordered carbonara. But whatever came, it wasn't carbonara. They're not Italians either, so the whole thing tasted like it was prepared by Neanderthals who'd never heard of salt and seasoning. We had to throw the rest away; what a waste of food.

I simply can't understand the bad reviews here. I've been ordering Pizza Barese for years, and it's always been a dream. Thin crust, thick crust, generous toppings, and the flavor it should be. Nothing burnt and always nice and hot. I'll continue ordering here. Thank you so much ;)

Terrible from start to finish. Wrong delivery and awful pizza. Ordered party pizzas for delivery. Instead of half Magherita/Salami, I only got Magherita, and it wasn't even good. Dry and half crust. And I'm not talking about good crust, just that sticky stuff you can barely chew. Plus, half the pizza was stuck to the lid! So you can't rely on anything, and the wrong pizza that arrives isn't even tasty. I would strongly advise against it! Accordingly, there were a lot of leftovers.

This shop has nothing to do with Italian! Price-performance poor! We ordered via Lieferando: We waited almost an hour, the food was completely cold (two pizzas, two pasta dishes). This should not happen if the journey is a maximum of 10 minutes. There was no “hello” during delivery, only “uh €47” Pizza Quattro Formaggi: Lean Margherita with three small dollops of Gorgonzola Pizza ham/salami: Ham hardly edible, described on the receipt as “country ham”. Rigatoni Al Forno: watery, no ham in it... Spaghetti bolognese: ??? Where is the Bolognese? Bad Napoli sauce with 10g minced meat?! Every dish tasted the same - like nothing.

After waiting for over an hour (an announced delivery time of 30 minutes) we called where the pizzas were. They're probably on their way. After another 35 minutes they are there, but unfortunately 2 out of 3 pizzas were delivered incorrectly. Called and kindly explained what happened. The reaction: “I can’t help it, there’s a lot going on.” An apology would have been great. Pizza is greasy and dough is tough. Unfortunately, a lot went wrong and there was no response from them. We live 5 minutes away... The price may not be right either. According to the list it would have been 29€ but they asked for 38€.

I recently ordered several pizzas for a movie night and unfortunately I have to say that I won't be ordering from them again. First of all, some pizzas were wrong. Some of the boxes were labeled with the numbers of the expensive pizzas (salami, ham, etc.), but each time there was the cheap Margherita inside. This can happen with one pizza, but with five I suspect there is a system behind it. As for my pizza, I had a seafood one and God knows I don't demonize the use of frozen products. But all the toppings were floating on my pizza, which leads me to the conclusion that they quickly threw the seafood from the freezer directly onto the pizza and put it in the oven. Rarely have I had such a soggy base because all the water from the seafood was on the pizza. Sorry but any frozen pizza would have been more edible. Still waiting for a pizza supplier in Tübingen who delivers decent quality but is guaranteed to have eaten better pizzas than here. By the way, I tried Da Giaovanni several times and every time it wasn't good. The last pizza prompted me to make this review. Update from 10/26/24: Unfortunately I have to say that things haven't gotten much better. Sometimes even worse. Unfortunately the group was tempted to order there again, the only reason was the location, it was right next door. Immediately regretted it. I had pizza capers and I don't know what it was, it wasn't pizza. I suspected something bad when I took my box and a grease stain was already visible through the bottom of the box. How can you top the pizza like that? It was pure fat, as if after putting the anchovies from the jar on the pizza, you also put the rest of the jar, i.e. the oil, on top. Hunger drove it in but it wasn't good. I sat there afterwards and you're supposed to feel fine after eating it, but this pizza was so heavy on my stomach that even a day later I'm still struggling with it. I don't have high expectations of the delivery service, but I have bought better frozen pizzas from the discounter than what was presented to me here. I can only imagine that the number of orders is still worth it and that people are not willing to change anything. You would think that as an Italian you have a certain sense of entitlement when it comes to pizza, but I've had better from a kebab man. For me it was definitely the last time. I don't know if they would eat their own pizza like that where it's dripping with fat and the toppings are just floating (at Frutti di Mare). 11 euros for that? Then it's better to order at Bella Roma or in Bowling. Uber Eats now makes it possible. They know how to make a good pizza and they're not even Italian.

Ok we ordered late but please the rigatoni were cold ie. The food was pre-cooked and kept in the fridge. Then the Bolognese sauce was meat-free. There was ham in it. Cheese was cold and completely melted. Before cooked... Both pizzas were cold. And totally over salted. But burned. Probably pre-baked too. No, sorry, we will never order here again. It's too bad about the money.

Well-intentioned advice: If (emphasis on if) you order here, it's best to order online. Either there seemed to be massive communication problems on the phone or we ended up getting the wrong pizzas delivered. Delivery took almost 90 minutes instead of 45 minutes, the dough wasn't cooked properly and 4 out of 4 pizzas were incorrectly topped.

60% crust, 40% topping, also mushy and dried tomato sauce. Pizza frutti di mare totally runny (probably not yet thawed frozen food) and greasy. Still far too expensive for that. Never again!

Employees are very tense and under stress, pizzas and other dishes are prepared very quickly and left in the oven in a minimal amount of time so that the cheese is very liquid.

Don't understand the bad reviews. Ordered pizza via Lieferando, arrived quickly, was warm and tasty😍 unfortunately just not cut, hence 4 stars. We were painting and didn't have a knife or something similar at hand😂

Delivery took forever, then the driver didn't ring the bell but called (is he shy? Name is clearly legible on the doorbell). ALL pizzas had the wrong toppings and were not cooked through. Price way too high. It used to be ok to order here. We will refrain from doing this in the future.

The pizza was good but unfortunately the “green salad” didn’t taste good at all. It was carelessly prepared and the dressing was far too sour. For a delivery price of €6 I would at least have fresh salad. The delivery was very quick, that's why it's still 3 stars.

Inferior quality, insufficient value for money

I ordered two pizzas, unfortunately both were cold when they arrived. Not cut and the dough was way too thick. Charging €10 for a M pizza is very steep. At least it was delivered quickly.

We chose a pizza with Parma ham and rocket and another with tomatoes and mozzarella. The pizzas were generally okay. However, in our opinion it was not a classic Parma ham, but rather a smoked one. A real shame, and the reason why we only give it three stars is that the tiramisu was neither homemade nor sufficient for the price. The tiramisu also just didn't taste good. It was more of a cream dessert with cocoa powder and alcohol. We paid a whopping €4.00 for it and are more than disappointed.

Stay away from the pasta! The pizzas are surprisingly good.

I've been a regular customer here for a long time and have never been disappointed. The base of the pizza is always nice and thin, the edge is thick and also richly topped. It tastes amazing every time, just like today. Will order here again and again.

Today we ate really delicious “Pizza Giovanni” again. Chef of the house delivered it and it was very, very good. Can only be recommended. 👍😊

We ordered as a family: 3 pizzas and 1 Rigatoni Al Forno. 2 pizzas - with seafood - were delivered lukewarm... we have never eaten such bad pizzas, the toppings floated on the pizza and the dough completely dissolved in the middle of the pizza, so that a hole formed. The Rigatoni Al Forno tasted like nothing, it wasn't seasoned and was extremely watery, half of it ended up in the trash can. The delivery person forgot the third pizza, which can happen and wouldn't have been a problem if we didn't have to wait another hour for it... after about 30 minutes of waiting (Giovanni is 6 minutes away). away from us) and asked politely, but were only told that the supplier had to be there soon. After another half hour the pizza finally arrived and we didn't even get an apology. Conclusion: First and last time... If we had read the reviews before ordering, we would not have ordered anything from Da Giovanni. Terrible.

We ordered 2 party pizzas and the experience is definitely not worth repeating. We ordered online and received a confirmation email. It said that it could take up to 90 minutes and that the call should only be made much later. We did this and then we were told the order didn't arrive because of the fax machine. After we ordered again we asked what a discount would be like because we waited 2.5 hours for the food. The boss said you have to call immediately after 40 minutes even though it says otherwise in the email. In addition, the friendliness of the boss in question was terrible!

We ordered two party pizzas online, received the confirmation email and dutifully waited for the 90 minute delivery time that was on the email. 2 hours later there's still nothing so we think okay, let's call. All we hear on the phone is "Order didn't arrive" and then we order it again straight away. We ordered two pizzas (ham and mushrooms)… we got two pizzas, but with salami and mushrooms. Very very bad. We had to pay full price and the service was also subpar. The prices you can see online are not the real prices! No recommendation!

Pizza was a bit tough, sparsely topped and too salty for people with salt tolerance. Not well cut. For the price it should be fine.

I ordered two pizzas. Unfortunately, the delivery time was significantly exceeded and was therefore twice as long as previously advertised. This alone wouldn't have been particularly bad for me, but the pizzas delivered were also completely cold (which is a "no go" in my opinion). In addition, the quality of the pizzas (which have now been warmed up in the oven) left a lot to be desired: not only was at least one of the pizzas very carelessly topped, but essential components of the topping (in this case artichokes) were completely missing. Unfortunately, I cannot give this pizzeria a positive rating.

2 Stunden auf eine Pizza gewartet. Als sie ankam war sie schon kalt.

Das erste mal eine echte Pizza geliefert bekommen in Tübingen, und was für eine! Besser als in jedem Restaurant hier. Diese Pizza ist Lichtjahre entfernt von allem was man hier sonst bestellen kann. Toller Teig, sehr gut abgeschmeckt! Absolut empfehlenswert, wenn man keine Fett triefende Analogkäse Lieferpizza möchte.

Pizza was not cut despite me explicitly asking for it. Way too oily too. Pasta was fine. Portions were big enough to get full and the waiting time was reasonable, about 15 minutes for both our meals on a Sunday evening (we picked it up). The place itself is quite small and you can't really eat there, they just deliver.

Haben eine Familien Pizza bestellt und sie war recht klein. Der Teig selber war gut jedoch war der Belag sehr mager. Ist leider nicht das erste mal so. Für den Preis erwartet man eigentlich mehr. Lieferung war ebenfalls spät es hieß 45 Minuten und nach 1 Stunde 15 war sie erst da. Darum nur diese 2 Sterne

Leckere Pizza, faire Preise und echt italienisch. Hatten 4 XXL-Pizzen bestellt. Alles kam warm an und weil sich der Fahrer aus Versehen verfahren hatte und 10 Minuten zu spät kam, gab es eine Pizza Margherita extra geschenkt. Sowohl die Dame am Telefon als auch der Fahrer waren sehr nett.

Pizza war für den Preis echt sehr ok. Fahrer sehr nett, Essen war früher da als angegeben. Jedoch haben wir falsche Zutaten auf der Pizza gehabt, wollten anrufen und uns beschweren und nur der Anrufbeantworter ging ran.

Habe über Liferando bestellt, davon kann ich nur abraten. Zuerst 1 Pizza, dann mit einer zweiten Bestellung noch ein Bier dazu. Es kamen dann aber 2 Pizzas! Man hätte mich ja wenigstens anrufen können, um Klarheit zu schaffen. Pizza von Geschmack nicht besonders, der Teig ist zu zäh. Zu loben ist die schnelle Lieferung.

Wenn man persönlich vorbeifährt, bekommt man innerhalb von 10-15min eine sehr leckere Pizza. Heute haben wir mal den Lieferservice ausprobiert. Die Pizza ist bis jetzt noch nicht da, daher nur 3 Sterne.
