Very tasty food, very nice staff and the boss organized a table for us despite the restaurant being full 👍 we would be happy to come back.

Great location, great service, delicious food...everything perfect!

The restaurant is picturesquely located on the Main with a good view. The staff was very friendly and the drinks and food came quickly despite the full house. The dishes also tasted very tasty, but I found the tomato sauce on the pizza a bit tasteless, but otherwise there was nothing to complain about in terms of taste or appearance. We'd love to come back.

August 2024: we get pizza here at least twice a month. Unfortunately I have to revise my review from 1 year ago. I don't know what happened, but unfortunately the pizzas are no longer what they used to be. I'm speculating whether they now use ready-made pizza dough or whether there's another pizza maker, but I'm really disappointed. The salad dressing remained the same. Unfortunately, we will make our own pizza in the future or get it somewhere else. 2023: Super delicious pizza

Beautiful large terrace with a view of the Main and meadows, next door there is a playground and camping. Pizza and pasta are highly recommended, I would rather make my own salad with good oil and balsamic vinegar. Attention vegetarians: where it says veggie, it doesn't always mean veggie!

We discovered this super delicious pizzeria by chance on our trip home. That was a great coincidence. Top food and super friendly staff and a beautiful location.

We are standing here on the parking space in Marktbreit and based on the reviews we ordered from Pizzeria Catania. Waited forever and was kindly given a bottle of red wine. But that was the only positive thing. Never had such a bad Italian meal before. Pizza base hard and without any seasoning. You had to look for the tomato, rocket parmesan topping except for the rocket. The pizza bread was rock hard and f......dry. Tortellini al Forno......really al Forno, bordering on burnt. It's a shame, but we expected something different for the money. Therefore only 1 star.

Unfortunately a disappointment! The gentleman and the young woman in service missed their job. Both were very unfriendly. An e-cigarette was smoked at the next table and the gentleman at our table told us that smoking was forbidden here. When the table next door explained this, there was no apology. Better yet, he completely ignored our table afterward. The pizzas were average and the vitello was bad. A pity

Fantastic cozy place with really nice service 😍 the food came quickly and tasted fantastic, as did their Pinot Grigio and espresso. Would love to come by another time.

Very tasty food, unfortunately the food was brought to us very late. The service staff's perfume was very intrusive and distorted the taste of the food. Allergy sufferers would also have big problems with it.

We ate there on a day when it was quite cold. We could not eat inside, only on a (covered) terrace. It was cold there. Too bad they don't allow indoor dining. The pizza was delicious and the service was excellent, but it was a shame about the cold.

Unfortunately, the quality has recently declined significantly. Once a guarantee of delicious food, today it's more of a matter of luck. Sometimes good, more often just mediocre. Above all, the salad dressing, which used to be a main attraction where you wiped the last drop onto the bread, is now just thin and watery with no real taste. Same problem with the pizza, the dough is rather mediocre and there is a lot of room for improvement in terms of taste. Maybe just think about whether high guest numbers are the sole criterion by which you want to measure yourself, or whether you still reflect on the quality of your products.

Great pizzeria, I ordered pizzas as part of a graduation party for my soccer boys. Great service, pizza was ready to the minute and all the boys enjoyed it. There was even a discount for the youth footballers, great sport, thank you again!!!

Contrary to the many positive comments, I was not convinced here. Both in terms of service and food. The service confuses attentiveness with a bit of intrusiveness. Personally, I believe that the pizza dough and the tomato sauce are ready-made products. Only the ingredients on the pizza are prepared by the kitchen. I can't judge whether the other dishes are partly finished products (so-called convenience). Overall, I wasn't convinced. I'm curious to see if there is an answer.

We can highly recommend the restaurant, especially if you have children. There is a great playground directly below the restaurant. The service is incredibly friendly and fast. The food is fresh and served hot. We also give full marks for taste.

Espresso ☕ like in Italy - perfetto 👌 The ambience would be great, terrace with a view of the Main - but large family celebrations give it more of a canteen feel. Be sure to reserve seats in advance!

Super delicious Italian cuisine with a great atmosphere! Located directly on the Main with a large terrace and a beautiful view. Very friendly service! And for the children there is a large playground right next door. And the cycle path also leads right past it. However, it is advisable to reserve a table in good time, otherwise you may not get a seat.

Very nice restaurant at the motorhome parking lot. Great selection of Italian food at reasonable and acceptable prices. Recommended.

Nice terrace with a view of the Main. Unfortunately, either the terrace or the guest room is currently open. 5 stars for the terrace, 3 for the guest room. Service was quick, it didn't matter whether we liked the pizza. The pizza dough was good, but there was very little taste. This also applies to the beer served.

We were invited to lunch as guests of a confirmation celebration. Since the weather was great, we were lucky enough to be able to sit on the terrace. As a starter there was a uniform anti pasti for everyone in the company. Delicious. For the main course we had Spaghetti Mare e Monti, salmon ravioli and baked pasta. All very tasty. The service was quick and attentive.

A classic in the region, not always good performance and service. It is of course important to reserve a place in good time. Especially on weekends.

We went there for dinner with a group of 7 people. The ambience is without question great. We were warmly greeted and seated. The drinks came quickly. The starters were good. Unfortunately my main course was at best okay. The salad with shrimps I ordered and my friend's salad came very quickly after the starter and well before the other meals. Unfortunately, both my friend's salmon and my shrimp were cold. It was probably in the kitchen for a while. But the other food at the table was highly praised. What was a shame was that we weren't asked whether we wanted something to drink or whether we wanted dessert. We couldn't really make ourselves noticed because we were simply ignored. Since the service staff were very nice, I still get four stars.

Although we had made a reservation, when we got there a little early we were sent out to wait (which was fine) but unfortunately relatively unfriendly. When we came back 5 minutes after our actual reservation, we were then told to go for another walk. (It wouldn't have been so bad if we didn't have to specify all the times and so on when making the reservation) That's why I can't rate the food. No further recommendation

Gute, ausgewogene Speisekarte, sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service Wir waren angenehm überrascht , weil es ja schon andere Bewertungen gab und kommen gerne wieder, wenn wir mal wieder in der Nähe mit unserem Reisemobil sind. Der örtliche Stellplatz ist ja unmittelbar neben dem Restaurant. Moderate Preise und das Weinglas war großzügig gefüllt , das haben wir auch schon anders erlebt. Trotz voller Resevierungen hatte man uns noch einen Tisch organisieren können. Ein gelungener Abend.

It was a very nice evening and the food was very good. There was plenty of choice on the menu and requests for changes were easily possible. The waiter was very friendly, and our children were also super nice. The ice cream is also highly recommended. We would like to come again.

Our favorite Italian! Clarity when reserving a table online, great food and ambience, very friendly and genuinely Italian staff. In warm months you can combine a visit to the restaurant with a nice walk directly along the Main. Just wow!

Vorspeise, Pasta und Pizza Top. Dafür auch 10 Sterne. Der Salat hat uns das Dressing nach Maggi geschmeckt. Kommen bzw. holen uns aber wieder was bei euch.

Waren im Winter dort. Leider nicht so schön im inneren. Im Sommer auf der großen Terrasse ist es wirklich sehr schön.

Wer beim Italiener Schnitzel und Bremser bestellt ist selbst schuld. Das ist keine Pizzeria sondern ein italienisches Restaurant. Selten anzutreffen in Franken. Ambiente, Service als auch die Gerichte sind sehr gut, allerdings gibt's Sprudelwasser 0,7 Liter neuerdings aus dem Wassermax für €4,50. Das werde ich mir in Zukunft verkneifen und gleich ein Kauzen Weissbier bestellen. Für 1 Euro wäre das Wasser OK, aber so... Ein Stern Abzug!

Achtung: Öfflungszeiten sind auf maps nicht korrekt. Dienstag ist auch Ruhetag. Leider. Wir hätten das Ristorante gerne ausprobiert.

Wir waren auf der Durchreise und konnten innerhalb einer Stunde gut essen und wurden sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich bedient. Wir hatten nur was Leichtes (Bruschetta, Antipasti und Salat), weil wir um die Uhrzeit (20:00 Uhr) nicht mehr so viel und so schwer essen wollten. Das war auf jeden Fall sehr gut und hat geschmeckt.

Ich verstehe die guten Bewertungen auch nicht. Der Service war zwar sehr nett und das Restaurant auch mega voll, aber das Essen nicht so mein Geschmack. Wir haben vor Ort Pizza und Nudeln bestellt. Im Hotel angekommen kam die Überraschung. Die Pizza (ohne Käse bestellt) war nicht reichlich belegt und die Champions auch nicht frisch. Allgemein war die Pizza vom Teig auch nicht sehr lecker. Die Nudeln waren auch sehr wenig und die Lachsfüllung war leider auch nur geräucherter Lachs.

Wir waren auf dem benachbarten Wohnmobilstellplatz und haben über die Homepage online bestellt, sehr komfortabel 👍 man konnte eine Wunsch-Abholzeit angeben. Diese Zeit wurde zu 100% eingehalten obwohl das Restaurant rappelvoll war. Die Pizzen 🍕 und die Salate haben toll geschmeckt. Wenn wir mal wieder in der Gegend sind, jederzeit gerne wieder 👍

Wir waren ein wenig enttäuscht, der Pizzaboden war dünn, trocken und unserer Meinung nicht selbst gemacht. Kaum Käse und kein Oregano, dazu spärlich belegt. Service sehr freundlich. Terrasse ist wunderschön, aber Musik zu laut und somit war der Gebrauchspegel der Gespräche noch lauter.

Wie dieses Lokal auf 4,5 Sterne kommt ist mir vollkommen unklar. Die Frage nach Federweißer wurde beantwortet mit , diese Marke führen wir nicht. 🤣 Schnitzel ist Konvektorware, die Soße war versalzen, der Koch war wohl verliebt, der Lachs trocken gegrillt, wie schafft man das? Und alles primär mit Salz und fett gewürzt. Von den erwähnten Gewürzen der anderen Bewertungen habe ich nichts geschmeckt. Ich bin kein Gourmet aber ich kann besser kochen. Kantinen Essen ist im Normalfall auch günstiger. Schade um die tolle Lage des Restaurants.

Ein tolles Restaurant neben dem Main. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Unser Essen war toll gewürzt und hat sehr lecker geschmeckt. Wie saßen auf der Terrasse und hatten einen tollen Ausblick auf den Fluss. Also wirklich ein sehr schönes Ambiente. Und sehr praktisch mit Kinderspielplatz nebenan 👍😊.

Die Pizzeria bietet eine wunderbare Atmosphäre, sehr gutes Essen und hat sehr aufmerksames Personal. Es liegt direkt am Main, der Blick auf diesen ist jedoch teils durch Bäume verdeckt. Unabhängig davon ist der Sitzbereich außen erhöht und hat einen schönen Flair. War hier zweimal essen & es hat sich definitiv gelohnt

Mittelmäßige Pizzeria. Mortadella auf der Vorspeise war verdorben, Pizzateig von billiger Qualität,der Pizzaboden wurde beim Essen immer Hãrter. Nudeln werden mit Sahne gekocht was in Italien kaum bis gar nicht verwendet wird.(kann mann problemlos nachforschen). Natürliches Mineralwasser bestellt und Leitungswasser für €4,50 in Wassersprudelflasche serviert bekommen (Purezza SprudelFlasche ohne Siegel im Internet problemlos bestellbar). Wäre schön wenn es auf der Karte vermerkt wäre.Fazit: wenn man auf Durchreise ist und Hunger hat ist die Pizzeria vielleicht okay, will mann allerdings gut Italienisch essen gehen dann würde ich lieber woanders bestellen.

Das Essen ist toll, vor allem der Salat mit der wunderbaren Soße! Unbedingt mal den Spezialsalat probieren - es lohnt sich! Das Ambiente im Sommer auf der Terrasse ist wirklich toll!

Das Essen war gute, allerdings konnte der Service die gewünschten Änderungen (andere Nudelsorte) nicht erfüllen. Und erst mit Bitte der Änderung umsetzen. Zu wenig Nachfrage nach Getränken (der Tag war sehr heiß) ankä kühleren Tagen sicherlich schön zum sitzen

Kann man wirklich empfehlen, die Pizza ist sehr lecker

Mit Reservierung haben wir für die Abendverpflegung ein Zeitfenster von 90 min erhalten. Es wurden unterschiedliche Pizzen sowie weitere Nudel- und Fischgerichte bestellt. Die Zubereitung der Gerichte ging zügig und die Bedienung war freundlich. Die Pizzen waren soweit geschmacklich gut, der Lachs und die beiliegenden Rosmarinkartoffeln waren jedoch leider sehr ölig. Gleiches gilt auch für den Beilagensalat. Als Nachspeise gab es Spaghetti Eis, das sich aber nach kurzer Zeit zu einer homogenen Masse wandelte. Das Tiramisu war geschmacklich in Ordnung. Die Atmosphäre der Pizzeria in unmittelbarer Lage zum Main und angrenzenden Spielplatz ist gerade für Familien ein Anreiz.

Das erste Mal seit Jahren wieder dort gewesen. Leider wurde mein Reservierungswunsch, dass ich gerne drin gewesen wäre, nicht wahrgenommen. Habe online ein Tisch reserviert, eine Nachricht hinzugefügt und trotzdem wurde es ignoriert. Service war trotzdem zuvorkommend und nett. Als Vorspeise haben wir uns für Tomaten/Mozzarella entschieden. Für 11€!!! Haben wir mehr erwartet. Er wurde 1,5 Tomaten in Scheiben auf einen Teller gelegt, mini Mozzarella Kugeln als Haufen draufgelegt und bisschen Gewürz drüber, dazu gabs es Pizzabrot (geschmacklos) Etwas Balsamico Creme und Olivenöl war keine Spur, auch kein Salz. Unverschämt teuer! Die Lachstaschen waren gut, meine Freundin hatte Nudeln mit Scampi. Die hinten noch geschlossen waren, somit war der Darm der Scampis leider noch drin. War etwas ne fummelei... Weiterempfehlung: würde eher zu nein tendieren....

Immer sehr lecker und tolle Stimmung und Aussicht

Wir sind seit Jahren Gäste der Pizzeria und fühlen uns sehr wohl. Besonders hervorheben und weiterempfehlen können wir die Abende mit Livemusik "Canzone Italiana", die alljährlich in den Sommermonaten stattfinden, zu deren Stammgästen wir uns zählen dürfen.

Das Restaurant ist immer gut besucht. Reservierung oder frühzeitiges Kommen daher empfohlen. Öffnet um 17 Uhr. Mit Terrasse in Sichtweite des Main. Personal flott und sehr freundlich. Essen gut bis sehr gut. Preise normal. Insgesamt empfehlenswert!

Im damaligen Noch-Hockeyheim haben wir vor 46 Jahren unsere Studentenhochzeit gefeiert - mit selbst Mitgebrachtem, alles wurde geteilt, es war wunderschön und nicht so aufgemotzt wie die meisten der gut 250 Hochzeiten von Paaren, die ich seit damals getraut habe. Jetzt haben wir unseren Hochzeitstag in Markbräät gefeiert, im gleichen Haus, inzwischen seit langer Zeit "Catania". Herzlich schon der Empfang, gelassen, freundlich und dabei fränkisch-italienisch perfekt der Service. Die grigliata mista di pesce war schlicht und einfach perfekt. Bester frischer Eigengeschmack der Fische und Meeresfrüchte, gutes Öl mit einem Hauch Knoblauch, auch die contorni perfekt. Nur die Vinaigrette am Salat hatte irgendeinn leichten Stich. Qualität, Quantitöt und Service waren ausgezeichnet. Ci vediamo.

Bin doch etwas verwundert gewesen über die kleine Portion meiner bestellten Cannelloni Spinat für 8,50 €. Hatte nicht mit so einer Mini Portion gerechnet, sonst hätte ich mir lieber etwas anderes bestellt. Desweiteren waren bei den noch mitbestellten Pizzen,eine Pizza komplett mit Paprika, und die andere mit Zwiebeln viel zu sehr überladen. Schade!Wollten in Corona Zeiten regional die Gastro unterstützen, aber leider kann ich hierfür keine Werbung machen....

Zur Zeit von Corona ist man dankbar, wenn es eine leicht beheizte Terrasse im Außenbereich gibt und das Haus die Regeln (Tische nach den Gästen zu desinfizieren) einhält. Wenn dann wie hier auch noch das Essen und der Service stimmt ist alles OK
