Everything packed away an hour before closing time

We came here today based on a recommendation for dinner with two adults and two children. The burgers, chicken, salad, and schnitzel were all delicious. We received very friendly service, and we also found the atmosphere very cozy. We'll definitely be back!!!

Even though the ambiance is a bit simple, which is also relatively high, I can highly recommend this restaurant. Excellent value for money, delicious food, reasonable portions, and very friendly, welcoming staff. We love coming here, whether on our own for a quick bite or with friends.

We were there for the third time yesterday because it's always been very tasty and pleasant. Last time, the wait was a bit longer, but the friendly staff and the quality of the food made it worthwhile. Because it was so noisy, we were allowed to eat outside even though the garden was closed. Everything was nice and pleasant! Last night, however, was a completely different experience! The table for three was booked/reserved and confirmed three days in advance. When we arrived on time, we were greeted rudely by the bar staff, who told us we had to wait while their colleague showed us to our table. After standing around for a while, we were told: "Come with me, upstairs!" (No "good evening" or "please"!) Upstairs, the worst part: a very cold room, which my wife immediately noticed and pointed out. They showed us the oven: "But the oven is on!" Then, about 30 chairs were stacked in pairs in the room, roughly 3 meters from our assigned table. Frankly, it looked very much like an "Asian" setting. My question about whether we could move the table closer to the stove ourselves went unanswered. The woman simply went back downstairs without replying. We stood there awkwardly for another 5 minutes, and my boyfriend went downstairs after about 8 people had left. He asked if a more comfortable spot had become available. The answer was a curt "no." We explained that it was really too cold upstairs and that the storage-room atmosphere wasn't exactly appealing, and that we regretted not being able to eat there that evening. This was met with indifference, and we left the restaurant incredibly disappointed. A truly sad evening!
