The pizza was slightly burnt and dry. The service was very good.

We actually just wanted to spend a nice evening for two and spontaneously eat pizza. Since the Buongiorno opens at 5 p.m., it was a good idea to stop there. Have been there a few times before and found it good. Unfortunately, this can no longer be said today. We have never been served so badly. The drinks came fairly quickly and we ordered an appetizer and two pizzas. The fairly simple starter took 15 - 20 minutes. And then nothing happened! The restaurant was getting more and more crowded and guests who had arrived after us had not only received their starters but also their pizzas. After 1.5 hours of waiting, we asked if they had forgotten our pizzas. No, they're coming soon. Okay, and why do guests who came after us get their food much sooner? YES, they would have pre-ordered!!! All??? We waited about 10 more minutes and then wanted to leave. But you wouldn't believe it, our pizza was ready. We had them pack us up and left. As an apology we weren't charged for the starter, but sorry, that didn't save anything! By the way, I noticed at home that my tuna pizza with anchovies and capers didn't taste good, there were no anchovies on it at all and you could count the capers on one hand. We will never eat there again.

Until recently we liked ordering food here, but when you order a tuna pizza with onions and ham and you have to look for the tuna and there are no onions. It's not possible, unfortunately I only saw it at home. The prices have risen and the quality is declining. Really a shame.

There isn't much going on in the store, one condition was completely ignored after 15 minutes then another condition came and brought us the drinks quite quickly and that was it Other guests came much later and got their food straight away. Very strange. 45 minutes after ordering they still didn't get any. Very sad, unfortunately, even though it always tasted very good

We ordered 6 dishes, 2 of which were wrong. After a lot of discussion that we should "live with it", but we insisted on a new delivery, the new dishes were wrong again! We had to wait 1.5 hours for the first delivery because after 5 p.m. the oven had to be warmed up. We had to wait another hour for the second delivery and had to make phone calls afterwards.

Food was okay, unfortunately no professionals on site. Not really paying attention. But ok so far

After sitting at the table for 45 minutes, the menu came when asked, but they didn't even manage to ask about the drinks. After another 10 minutes of ignoring things, we got up and had a good night's sleep in the Ratskeller. We were 7 people and had reserved.

Small, rustic pizzeria in the heart of downtown Helmstedt. The service is super nice, the atmosphere in the old building is totally rustic and there is great, typical Italian food. The pizzas are super tasty, the pasta is always freshly prepared and the changing Italian specialties are awesome. You can't get more Italy than that. The price/performance ratio is perfect. We always like to come back. Our special tip: Spaghetti Carbonara is awesome and the party pizza rocks every birthday...

Waiting times are far too long, maybe they shouldn't always tell you to come in 40 minutes and then the pizza isn't even ready, it's just bad and the quality isn't as good as it used to be, but the prices are increasing 👍

We had dinner there today around 12 p.m. wanted to eat there. The waiter told us three times that he was about to bring the drinks menu, but didn't tell us whether we wanted something to drink. We got the menu straight away. After half an hour without a drink we left. By the way, 2 other couples too. It's a shame, we always enjoyed eating there. We won't be coming back until later.

Hmm ok, I've never waited 1.5 hours for a pizza! Guests who came after me had their meal before me. However, they apparently were acquaintances of the boss. I then received an apology because a large order came in, so all I can say is aha! funny! However, the pizza and the prices were very good.

We've been sitting here for an hour and so far we've only had a small salad. It was completely tasteless and only made with oil. The food was worth 4 stars but the long waiting time doesn't make it good. Large orders outside the home seem to be the norm here. But that shouldn't put restaurant guests at such a disadvantage. There were five of us who had made reservations. The reservation went without any problems. Unfortunately it turned out to be a very chaotic evening for us. It started with the fact that the waitress didn't know anything about the menu and had to constantly ask how the dishes were spelled... she couldn't even spell bruschetta. After waiting for over an hour, we asked what our food was like. The lady came after a while and told us that the starter would be served together with the main course. In my opinion it doesn't work at all. It was then regulated so that the main meal was kept warm for as long as possible. So three people had their main course, one had his starter and I had nothing. After 5 minutes I asked what was wrong with my pizza. This was probably forgotten... After 10 more minutes I finally got it. Overall, unfortunately, one has to say that the service staff was really overwhelmed. In addition, drinks were never asked for and I found the clearing of the tables just as unprofessional. About the food: The quality and prices of the food are still very good. That's the big plus point about this restaurant.

The mushrooms weren't fresh had a strange taste but otherwise it was very nice we ate outside

The pizza itself was very tasteless, the sauce was much too thin. If you want one less ingredient and add two others, you have to be prepared to pay almost twice the price of the original pizza. My first and last visit...

We were here with a group. There was a buffet. The starters were very tasty, salami, ham, pickled onions, cheese and much more Main courses: There were 3 pasta dishes and 3 pizzas to choose from. Penne with vegetable sauce was very tasty. I didn't try spagetti Napoli. Lasagna lacked seasoning for my taste. The pizza was OK. Unfortunately the service didn't keep up with the drinks but was very friendly. Overall OK.

Either he was kidding me on the phone or he really doesn't understand German, I had to repeat the relatively easy delivery address 12 times (!!!) WITHOUT FUN, when you have pizza delivered there there is almost nothing on it and the dough is extremely thin and usually too hard and therefore usually cold when it is delivered! But it doesn't taste super bad or anything, but well, you expect more! The pasta dishes are actually really good! The employees could also smile more and be friendlier!

Went there for pizza today and were very disappointed. The edge was burnt and the middle was covered with newspaper-thick dough. In addition, the oil was just dripping down. When I complained, I was told that this had to be the case. It's a shame it used to be good

It's super delicious! You have a large selection, of fair ones, and at a reasonable price. I always go there when I want to eat pizza 🍕. Therefore, none of it is tastier than this.

The three of us were there for Women's Day. The first time and probably the last... The food was great. There are 5 points for this. However, it took forever to get there. The service was more busy with telephone orders and pick-ups. We also sat at the entrance, where the door opened every five minutes and people were practically standing next to us. Unfortunately the plastic disc didn't hold much. The starters arrived after 50 minutes and the main course after an hour and a half. The one without a starter was served correctly. It was tasty and enough. The prices are very humane. It's a shame that the organization doesn't seem to be working.

The food was really tasty, but the team behind it was unfortunately extremely uncoordinated. While guests who came after us already had their dessert in front of them, we were still waiting for our starter. It's a real shame because the place looks really cozy.

The food itself was very tasty, but they said on the phone that it would be delivered in half an hour. After an hour you call and ask. “Driver is on the way” half an hour later I call again “driver has already been on the way” driver arrives “I left two minutes ago” I occasionally ordered something with the pizza. I paid for the order but never received it. Also very cheeky on the phone.

Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur empfehlen!!!! Essen war sehr sehr lecker und auch wirklich Italienisch. Vorspeise wie auch die Hauptgerichte. Wir hatten von allem etwas dabei. ( von Pizza bis Rinderfilet ) Bedienung war erstklassig. Alles in allem sehr toll. Danke für den schönen Abend.

Ein unverschämtes freches Verhalten sogar vom Chef. Man bestellt um 17 Uhr essen, was man um 19:30 Uhr abholen möchte. Um 20 Uhr ist es noch nicht fertig. Dann wird einem gesagt, dass man doch lieber zu McDonald's gehen soll, wenn man schnelles essen möchte und der Telefonhörer aufgelegt. Zum Glück gibt es noch andere Italiener in Helmstedt. Nie wieder ❗❗

The main front dining area obviously had two/three groups booked so, as we hadn't booked, we were in the rear dining area which was quiet, but also not very warm. However, both food and service were excellent, as usual. We all ordered pizza, which were 30cm, more than adequate,. Comprehensive selection of toppings, all fresh and hot.

Leider nicht so lecker wie es aussah. Pizzateig und Sauce waren sehr gut, aber wenn an dem Belag gespart wird, schmeckt es trotzdem nicht rundum. Schade!

Alles in allem richtig gut, vom Essen bis zum Service.

Ich besuche das Restaurant bereits einige Jahre und nun habt ihr es endlich geschafft. Das Essen hat leider schon länger an Liebe und Qualität verloren. Die Pizza ist allerdings immer noch gut. Absolute Katastrophe war beim letzten Besuch die Wartenzeiten (fast zwei Stunden für zwei Gänge) und eine Servicekraft die mir noch frech ins Gesicht lügt. Zweites Getränk war innerhalb der zwei Stunde auch nicht zu bekommen. Sehr sehr schade was da passiert ist.

Spontan und kurzfristig Platz für Familie, gutes Essen und vertretbare Preise.

Dosenpilze auf der Pizza, keine erneute Nachfrage nach Getränken. Das geht besser. Sonst lecker.

Pizza bocciata, con i primi e il secondo molto meglio. Personale molto centile e disponibile. Pizza not so good for pasta and meat much better. Very kind waiters.

Ein Ort um sich Zuhause zu fühlen, leckeres Essen , freundliches Personal und tolle Dessert. Kann den warmen Käse Kuchen empfehlen, der ist einfach nur göttlich.

Leider bekommt man keine kleinere pizzas

Ich gebe diesmal nur 3 Sterne. Eigentlich wären auch 2 gerechtfertigt. Ich hatte ein Pastagericht bestellt. Es ist o.k, dass die alten Preise nicht gehalten werden können. ABER.... Das Gericht hat sich um 2,50 Euro verteuert Die Schale war nur noch halb so groß. Und zu guter Letzt fehlten auch noch die Champignons in der Soße . Für eine Soße mit 3 Kirschtomaten bißchen Sahne und Parmesan 9 Euro zu verlangen, für eine Portion die nicht satt macht. NEIN DANKE!!!! Ich war gerne Kunde. Nun werde ich woanders bestellen.

Man sollte (darf) sich nicht von den längeren Wartezeiten bis das Essen dann serviert wird abschrecken lassen... einfach etwas Zeit mitbringen und diese dann zu zweit genießen. Die Belohnung ist dann eine italienische Küche zum fairen Preis, die es SO eher selten gibt... Alles im allem ein super TYPISCHER Italiener, bei dem man auch gerne einen Abend verbringen kann. Seit nunmehr über 20 Jahren nutze ich beim unregelmäßigen Helmstedt- Besuch die Möglichkeit hier dann eine richtig gute Pizza zu essen. Einfach weiter so... mit Freundlichkeit und fairen Preisen bei einem sehr guten Essen. Danke!

Ordered Pizzas which were absolutely tasteless. Waiter meant they would not season their food because "you never know" how customers would like it. Stay away from 4-cheese pizza: it comes soaking in a puddle of liquid processed cheese!

2020 Erster Pizzatest des neuen Buongiorno. Pizza ist kleiner geworden, Belag hat leider auch abgenommen, siehe Foto 1. Schmeckt zwar immer noch, aber irgendwie trotzdem schade. Wir testen nächste Woche nochmal, vielleicht liegt es am Stress der Neueröffnung ;) Update 2023 Pizzagröße ist wieder besser geworden, aber dafür gibt's jetzt Pilze aus der Dose auf die Pizza.. keine frischen Pilze auf der Funghi! Bild 2 Bei den heutigen Preisen nicht gerechtfertigt.

Absolut empfehlenswert ! Super Pizzen und Nudelgerichte. Alles sehr schmackhaft und nette , freundliche Mitarbeiter, die auch Extrawünsche bei Bestellungen aufnehmen. I

Kauft keine Gutscheine, denn unser 50€ Gutschein vom August 2020 (Corona Zeit) hatte im Dezember 2022 einen Wert von nur noch 20€, auch das nur nach längerem Bitten. Laut Verbraucherzentrale gilt eine Verjährungsfrist von 3 Jahren. Die im Gutschein ausgestellte Gültigkeit von einem Jahr stellt eine unangemessene Benachteiligung des Verbrauchers dar.

Pizza Top . Bruschetta Top . Lasagne leider zu lange im Ofen und Käse dunkel bis verbrannt. Service Top.
