Pizzeria Bella Italia in Bad Lauterberg im Harz

Charming little pizzeria with excellent service. The pizzeria is inconspicuous. But you shouldn't be fooled. The menu is extensive and has a lot to offer. The service is extremely friendly, warm and accommodating. The dishes are very tasty and rich. Prices absolutely fair. We'd love to come back!

We had to ask for cutlery twice then my son went to her to ask for cutlery again. The lady came to our table and checked whether cutlery was really missing

Always nice and friendly, you feel at home

Seriously disappointed. We ate here a few days ago and to this day I still wonder how the restaurant got 4.7 stars. My pasta sauce tasted like an opened can of tomatoes with no seasoning. Drinking Barilla from the glass is a taste experience. The pizza was okay but not a highlight either. As a final disappointment, every little thing (extra parmesan, etc.) was charged at horrendous prices. The only positive thing in my opinion was the very warm, polite service!!

If you don't accept payment by card, I don't think you're worth more than 1 star. You lost several guests the other day just because of this. Very sad as we would have otherwise liked to try this restaurant!

The food, simply delicious and plentiful! The friendly service deserves more than five stars! Been there three times and it won't be the last time.

5 stars for the service are basically not enough!! I can't remember ever receiving such a friendly and warm welcome in a restaurant. And certainly not that I was greeted with a handshake after dinner. During my visit I felt more like I was at a family celebration where everything revolved around me than "just" a guest in the restaurant. I had the “Pizza Chef” and can only recommend it! All in all, it was a very, very pleasant visit to the restaurant. If I'm in the Bad Lauterberg region again, I'll definitely come back there!! If there's anything to complain about in my opinion, it's that the restaurant would benefit from a little more Italian ambience. But that's really complaining at a high level.

Nice restaurant with delicious food and super friendly service

Finally a really good Italian restaurant. Great, delicious food and exceptionally nice service. The “small salad” was so big that I couldn’t finish the main course. But it was worth it. It's a shame that we don't live nearby, Bella Italia would be our regular restaurant. We would love to come back on our next vacation

An incomparable restaurant. I have never eaten as well at any other Italian restaurant as I did at this one. The waitress was incredibly warm and friendly, you immediately felt welcome and comfortable. Even my partner, who doesn't usually care much for Italian cuisine, was enthusiastic about the food. The bruschetta was so delicious that we ordered it again on our second visit the following day. An absolute recommendation for everyone, even for people who don't usually care much for pizza, pasta and the like. have left.

Thursday, public holiday, Day of German Unity. My husband and I, looking for dinner, chose an Italian restaurant and were seated. Cozy furnishings in a simple 90s style. Ordered pizza and baked vegetables and lo and behold, a culinary delight, tasty ingredients on the pizza lead to a never-ending dream, wonderful. The vegetables in tomato sauce were also well seasoned. The waitress, perhaps also the owner and probably from Italy, has her own charm and always has a good word for her guests, relaxed with humor and personal contact, she shook hands with everyone individually. Thanks again and see you next time.

Friendly service. Food only at a moderate level. Tomatoes with onions were served already dressed with moderate vinegar and oil. Quite weak for €8. Pizza definitely on a frozen level. Too much oil, and pizza base of simple industrial quality.

Unfortunately, the pizza was very greasy and the dough seemed like it was fried. In terms of taste, we found it to be rather average. The food was very heavy on our stomachs. The service was friendly, but this comedy show "4 liters of beer, 4 liters of cola etc." and that at every table is quite exaggerated.

The food is super tasty, large enough portions. Price/performance is right and the service is quick and very friendly but not intrusive. Since we were there for the first time 2 days ago and we felt so comfortable, we went again today and were thrilled again. We will definitely come back on our next vacation. Highly recommended.

Good food and pleasant atmosphere with very polite service

Absolutely perfect, easily available for consumption. Pizza never wants to have the same pizza! My pizzeria is in the same place as in Morza, but my pizzeria is in the same place. These pizzas never tasted good. You can say something about it and the onion is still there. These pizzas look like they weren't made with love! not worth recommending!!!!!

If you go there on a recommendation within the stated opening times, only to come across a handwritten note that refers to operating times and have to stop in front of a locked door. It's a shame that this could have been announced publicly/online.

I can't judge food. But they are currently closed without making this clear on their website. The journey was completely free...

Delicious pizza, although a bit too fatty for my taste due to too much cheese. The service is very nice. The location is central. I would eat there again. Payment is only possible in cash, which I find no longer appropriate.

We went to the Pizzeria Bella Italia during our short vacation in Bad Lauterberg. A small, fine and clean restaurant. We had made a reservation and were warmly welcomed by the owner of the house. The drinks and food didn't take long to arrive and it was plentiful and very tasty. The boss served us herself and always had a quick saying on her lips. You had the feeling that you had known each other for years and that contributed to the absolutely good atmosphere that evening. We felt very comfortable and welcome here. At the end we were greeted by the boss with a handshake. We will definitely come here again on our next visit to Bad Lauterberg, can only recommend this restaurant and would like to thank you again for the lovely and pleasant evening.

Went there for dinner with the whole family including grandma, grandpa and children. The waitress Ilona is very friendly, especially to the children. I had a pizza frutti di mare which was very tasty. A Funghi al Tonno (mushroom on tap) was also good

Sweet little restaurant with very nice staff!

It was our first time eating there and we can immediately say that this restaurant is simply great. The service is simply friendly, attentive and super cool. The food also comes really quickly and is of very high quality. The pizza is definitely recommended. The dough is so airy and crispy at the same time and full of flavor. We have eaten at many Italian restaurants and this one exceeded all expectations. We will be back definitely.

A small, fine restaurant furnished with a lot of love and a very nice boss. It is considered an insider tip in Bad Lauterberg. Anyone who has been to BL must have also been to Bella Italia with its fantastic dishes. 15 stars from me. Very rich map.

There's actually nothing to complain about, everything was great and I expected that for the price. Only 1 star deduction for the dessert, which wasn't convincing, not a visual or culinary highlight (but we were also the last guests, maybe the kitchen wanted to call it a day). The lights in the restaurant should be dimmed. What's the point of a romantic dinner under floodlights?

Luckily our group (12 noses) had reserved a table the evening before. Because the restaurant is not very big, all the tables were occupied. That may have been why it took a little while between orders. There was definitely a service missing. But the boss (?) herself was very friendly and the food came to the table almost at the same time and we enjoyed it very much. We were a bit surprised that only cash payment was possible - at least when we were there. But that also fit in with the somewhat outdated method of recording orders on a small piece of paper and creating invoices based on that. But that's what makes Pizzeria Bella Italia very lovable.

Very tasty little Italian and good value for money

What can I say? Salad was great, pizza was very good! A typical Italian pizza. The service was great, the boss has fun at work and has everything under control. The ambience is a bit old, but it has a certain charm, you feel like you've been transported back in time. I can recommend this Italian, by far the best in town!

Since my wife was in Bad Lauterberg for rehab, I visited her regularly. We came across the Bella Italia restaurant while strolling through the city. The Bella Italia is a small, comfortably furnished restaurant. The service was extremely nice and very attentive. The food was really great. The portions are very plentiful and the prices for such portions are very moderate. We've eaten there every weekend so far (for 4 weeks), including with the rest of the family, and have never regretted it. We can only recommend this restaurant to everyone. Thank you for the great hospitality and thanks to the excellent chef!!!

We were there for the first time. Without reservation, just at the right time :). It was incredibly tasty, the portions are the perfect size. The atmosphere is really very cozy. The service was amazing! The lady was very friendly and accommodating, enjoyed her work and made it noticeable in a very friendly way. All in all it was the perfect evening! When we arrived there without a reservation, we realized that it would have been worth making a reservation - all the tables were occupied, just before the lunch break. After a quick consultation, we were able to get a table for four people 30 minutes later without any problems. With a short time window of about 50 minutes, we were warmly welcomed. Very friendly and very happy with children. The menu is very large and varied, which often doesn't result in good food. **** Different here the food was fantastic, really great 👌 excellent. You'll find something for everyone. Whether for children, whether for pasta or pizza, whether for meat or fish lovers, everything is covered with a very good price-performance ratio and very tasty... THE FOOD WAS TOP AND VERY DELICIOUS. At the end there was a personal handshake. Our children received a little goodie, which was received with joy. We started lunch full and satisfied. A great restaurant, with great service and great food prompted us to go there on December 31st. Die Gemütlichkeit ging ein wenig unter durch zu helles Licht. Ein Windschutz am Eingang würde es in den Wintermonaten behaglicher machen Aber der Service ist super herzlich und auch ohne Reservierung fühlt man sich willkommen. Das Essen ist Geschmackssache...ich mochte es.
