For the price, the pizza (capricciosa) was pretty middling

Small pizzeria with very tight seating with somewhat small tables. Unfortunately there were too few staff in service, while up to 3 people were assigned to the reception. The service seems a bit uncoordinated. Food was OK, but nothing special. Prices above average, due to the city center location. It is unacceptable that card payment is not possible with the service staff at the table and that guests have to queue at the checkout.

Very nice atmosphere, but just extremely expensive. (That's why 4 out of 5 stars) Munich prices. Mini cappuccino €5 and normal Margherita for €13.70. Pizza was really VERY tasty. The food comes really quickly. Service is friendly, Italian cosiness.

Such an incredibly unfriendly shop, unbelievable! The waiter(?) accused us of lying that we had ordered Italy BBQ Burger and not Italy Veggie Burger. He just kept insisting that this was the case and that he had cameras to prove it. We've been vegetarians for years, but he knows this? Unbelievable. Unfortunately, the realization that perhaps he simply stopped listening after Italy never came. Very unpleasant shop. Food was okay.

It's a shame, it's just ripping off tourists. Prices reflect the location, but the quality of the food is inexcusable. Antipasti platter with tasteless vegetables, a salami from the supermarket that is advertised as salsiccia and parmesan shavings from the bag. Ham also from the supermarket, only the mozzarella and the avocado had something to offer in terms of taste. Honestly, why does it always have to be so listless and unmotivated. We only received bread when asked. All in all, not a recommendation

The quality of the food and drinks is an outrage for the price. You just pay for the location. The food is below average at best. It is very crowded and noisy due to the large number of tourists flocking to the restaurant due to the good location and the completely unrealistic reviews. This is a pure tourist rip-off shop, Munich has much better restaurants to offer if you move a little away from the center. Wouldn't recommend anyone to eat at the pizza shop.

The 9th of us spontaneously went out to eat. After calling 10 minutes in advance, that wasn't a problem. The service suited us very well and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Food tasted excellent. All in all: a top restaurant with a very nice atmosphere and food.👌🏼

Very nice staff, great location. The prices are a little high, but this is the center of Munich. We took pasta and pizza, tasty, good portions.

Very friendly welcome even without a reservation. Great ambience, chic and modern, yet cozy and even over two floors. Food really wonderful. It might take a little longer from ordering to serving, especially if you order several courses. You would like to stay a little longer. But still highly recommended all around!

They got us in quickly on a busy Saturday night for them. The atmosphere was great, the food was good, and the service was fantastic! Highly recommend.

The atmosphere is amazing, the food was quite delicious however the staff was extremely rude. The first time I got in, I was greeted by a nice lady who showed me to my seat, as I was ready to order, the servers can’t seem to hold a decent order conversation with me, his body language and voice tone was very condescending. I ordered the Italian Veggie burger, what came was the Italian burger with bacon, which I have strict dietary restriction. When I said the burger has bacon and I ordered veggie, the same server insisted I ordered Italian burger and walked away rudely. I had to tell another server firmly that I can’t eat bacon and I ordered veggie. It was only then that my proper food came. I would say come for the ambience and food but be prepared to be served rudely.

The restaurant is beautiful in the heart of the centre. Ordered gluten free lasagna, burger and pasta. Honestly, the food is very nice and the staff are great. I recommend visiting it.

The place is beautiful inside, but it is very hot and it is preferable to reserve seating inside. It is a shame outside that the service is late, but the food is delicious. We ordered a margherita pizza, a lasagna, and a parmigiana with eggplant in it. It was the most delicious thing.

Nice restaurant, except if you want gluten free pizzas. We waited 45 min to get it done, cost extra 4.5 euros and is pretty basic. Our waiter was also rude, barely listening what we were asking, made mistakes in the order and did not explained the delay. Without restrictions I think it should be ok..the pinsa dough is good

The food and the place can be described in one word: Fantastic! Our pizzas were excellent and the service was extremely accommodating. Despite a full restaurant, our food came very quickly. The prices are a bit high, but absolutely justified. Warm recommendation!

The Hacker schorr beer is weak and unpressurized. The cold and bad antipasti. Of course one cannot imagine being in Italy. The normal pizzas. Fast service, nice atmosphere, way too expensive for the price, I've eaten a thousand times better pizza, which also arrived hot and not at room temperature. Overall disappointing and not worth the 4.6 stars.

I've been to the restaurant about 5 times now. So far everything has always been good. However, on the last visit, in the same breath as the waiter mentioned the bill amount, I was asked “how much tip I wanted to give”. At that moment I was more than perplexed as to how anyone would come up with the idea of ​​asking such an offensive question. Since the previous visits except for the last one were all good, 4/5 stars. However, I will avoid the location in the future, who wants to go out in a place that is associated with such audacity.

NOT GLUTEN FREE Although there are gluten-free pasta and gluten-free dough, there is no sauce that is gluten-free! I only found this out after asking, after the employee angrily said, no, none of the sauces are gluten-free, even though they are marked as gluten-free on the menu. The staff is uninformed and does not understand that even a small contamination is critical for celiac disease. I then didn't order anything to eat, as they obviously didn't pay any attention to special preparation, I was told that I couldn't stay without eating something, even though my three friends had ordered something.

Very good restaurant with delicious food. The food is really excellent and very well prepared. Despite a very busy day, everything went very quickly. The atmosphere is very nice and you can also sit well outside. If you want a safe table in the preferred area, you should make a reservation as the restaurant is busy. The service was also great. In terms of price, it's more in the upper midfield. Almost every dish costs around 15-25€, but it's justified for the taste.

Top service and great cuisine. I was there for lunch with the whole family. Despite different tastes, there was something on the menu for everyone.

I ordered lasagna and it was delicious. The only downside was we didn't sit for a long time but the waiter was pushing us to pay and leave. I understand the place is crowded and with a nice atmosphere but they shouldn't behave like that

I didn’t like the food (ordered pizza and strudel). For me it was not tasteful. Also i had bad experience with service. PS: check Trip advisor. It seems they dispute bad reviews. In trip advisor they are not filtered. That’s why I had my disappointment.

Do you want overpriced and undelicious food? This is THE place. We ordered pizza (Capricciosa), pasta (Bolognese) and Apple Strudel for the dessert. Pizza's dought was cheap, dry, tasted like an old bread, so it ruined the taste of toppings. Pizza felt cold. Pasta tasted plain, didn't have any flavour. Apple Strudel was definitely not worth its price. Food was made without any love. However, we paid as much as for the fine dinner. Not to mention, the service wasn't very professional and sadly tips were already included in the receipt. So we overpaid for the service too (it wasn't worth 10%). For this dinner (2 meals, dessert and 2 drinks) we paid 60 euros. ‼️this restaurant even reported my comment on google reviews‼️

Service is good but my Italian BBQ Citizen was so cold that I got brain frost

The waiter was really nice and funny. It was someone's birthday at the table next door, so they served dessert with a serenade and a spray candle. The starter platter was very tasty, the olives on it were also really good.

The food was very bland and the service was terrible. Waiter asked us to move from our table even though we hadn't finished our drinks, claiming there was a reservation in 5 mins even though the restaurant was half empty.

Highly recommended, very good pizza dough and toppings. Starter bruschetta with delicious pizza bread as a baguette. Unfortunately, I completely missed the garlic in the tomatoes and the taste could have been a bit better (they lacked a bit of pizzazz), but overall they could be recommended. Ambiance is very nice, price is high but ok and person was quick and friendly. VG ✌️ (But of course taste is always objective, which is why 4/5 stars for food)

A great restaurant, the waiter is positive and always smiling with a few jokes in his arsenal. A big thank you to the waiter named Ali who served us and allowed us to have the mulled wine at our table instead of taking it away. We went to have dinner. We took pasta lasagna and pizza and didn’t like the lasagna. It was delicious, yes, only for those who love it. And I really liked the fact that the waiter saw this and did not include it in the bill. I rarely come across such establishments that value their visitors. Quisiera que todos los futuros viajeros y extranjeros leyeran esta reseña para ahorrarse los malos ratos en este restaurant. Fue la primera vez donde me pidieron literalmente, que ME LEVANTE DE MI LUGAR PARA IR A PAGAR Y LUEGO DECIRME QUE ME FUERA DEL LUGAR. Quiero que sepan que lo tomé de una forma muy discriminatoria, ya que soy latina y fui con otras expectativas ya que en ningún otro lugar me he sentido de esa forma. Según mi percepción fueron una de dos o ambas a la vez. 1) Me escucharon hablar en español y me discriminaron 2) Porque sólo pedí una taza de café y me discriminaron por el nivel económico que podría gastar. (Sin saber que poseía mucho dinero para gastar igualmente, si supiera que había cierta "cantidad" que HABIA SIDO tendría que haber gastado en el restaurante, lo hubiese pagado sin problemas, ya que SOY DUEÑA TAMBIÉN DE UN RESTAURANT en mi ciudad, pero con la comparación de que nosotros jamás tratariamos de esa forma a un cliente y MENOS SI ESTE FUESE EXTRANJERO para que no se sienta discriminado/a. Dejo constancia que solamente la anfitriona fue la única persona que fue comprensiva conmigo, cuando fui a reclamar sobre el trato que recibí de su personal. An Italian restaurant in the city center. We had great expectations to be honest but the pizza and pasta we ordered did not meet our expectations. Pizza was too bready with few ingredients on it, the pasta sauce also too oily and both too expensive for what they were!! The service was fast and the staff were friendly overall. I also ordered a lemonade and they served a SevenUp as a lemonade!!!

The food came very quickly because it was well prepared but quite expensive (21€) burger with free ketchup and fries. Friends also liked it and everyone was happy, but there was one thing that bothered me - I had to pay 50ct for the toilet even though I was only washing my hands

We are from Munich and have been to many Italian restaurants, which there are many in Munich. We went to the pizza shop for the first time with my sister and family. We were very impressed with the food and the Primitivo. Both have a very good price-performance ratio. What stood out, however, was the excellent service. We were served by a very friendly and courteous gentleman who knew our wishes before we even expressed them. His name was, and unfortunately I'm not 100% sure, Gafur. Thank you again for the lovely evening.

Die Pizza war nichts besonderes. Die Oliven waren gefärbte geschmacklose Industrie Oliven ohne Kerne. Der italienische Salat war prima. Service freundlich, aber gehetzt und abgekämpft. Es war wohl eher ein einmaliges Erlebnis.....

There was a table empty. We suggested to seat there but they waiter rejected! And the table was empty until we leaved!

Alright food, and central location, however prices do seem unreasonable, I was charged €11.5 for a side salad: just a few salad leaves with dressing! I do no plan to return here!

We ended up having three meals here across three days with a mixture of lunch and dinner. Would recommend booking as it can be very busy but on one occasion we went without a booking and had only a short wait for a free table. The service was excellent from all the different staff we interacted with and the food was excellent on all occasions and for all the different dishes we tried. Would absolutely recommend this place and go again when we next visit Munich.

Very nice service and delicious pizza

We recently visited this cozy restaurant and were very satisfied. The atmosphere is really inviting and there is seating both upstairs and downstairs, both very cozy (best to reserve at peak times). The food was fresh and came relatively quickly even though it was very busy. A small negative point was the service. Nevertheless, we would definitely come back.

A service employee shouted at guests at several tables. Sometimes it was about the order, sometimes it was about a guest's request to swap tables with us. He immediately reacted angrily and did not respond to my reassuring request to clarify things politely. When he noticed that because of his displeasure we didn't want to pay to him but to a colleague, he loudly and quickly confronted us and attacked us. I forbade myself to use that tone several times, which only made him angrier and more derogatory. I've never experienced anything like that before, very unpleasant and off-putting.

This spot looks cozy but the customer service is totally rude and unprofessional. We asked if they have Italian beer and they started shouting that this is Germany even though they represent themselves as Italian restaurant😂 they waiter kept rushing us to eat and pay (we didnt even stay long at the table) and said this is prime spot and we must move faster. I would not recommend to anyone or anytime to support business like that :) i guess anywhere is better where rude people dont work.

The food is quite ok, but the service is poor. We came more towards the evening for dinner, the place has tables outside and inside, the lady sat us outside, although it was getting cold, during our stay, two tables next to us inside the place became vacant, which were supposedly reserved, even if they were, there were at least 3 free ones. tables upstairs in the middle of the premises, because there is a bathroom upstairs, you could see a lot of empty tables. We asked several times if we could sit inside and each time the answer was no. At least after warnings they gave us blankets, there were 4 of us and we got two blankets and then one more, so it wasn't much for everyone anyway. This restaurant could work on its treatment of customers.

Fancied a pizza whilst staying in Munich, and after looking at the reviews we decided to visit Pizzarei. First impressions were good, lovely looking place and as the outside seating area was full, we could tell it was a popular choice. We were greeted and the host found us a table inside…. The service as excellent, drinks came out very quickly, which was good as it was rather warm inside. The food was very good, we had a Arabiatta pasta dish and spicy meat sourdough pizza. We’ve had better Pizza and pasta dishes on our travels, but I would still recommend Pizzarei for a very nice meal at reasonable price.

Well located in a lovely spot, food is generically Italian, served very quickly, as you’d expect I guess with pizza. Staff were functional, can’t say more than that, I think our waiter’s face may have cracked if they attempted a smile. Great Place to eat, really good Italian restaurant. Unfortunately seated at a place where the waiters kept bumping me in the back every couple of minutes. Otherwise I would give it 5 stars. Luckily I didn't have soup 😅
