Pizza Express Schongau in Schongau

We ordered pasta from La Verda today, and afterwards we discovered that this company, like The Pizza, belongs to Pizza Express and is essentially the same restaurant with different names. We waited over two hours for the food and drinks. The driver kept telling me they were busy. When I received the food, I noticed sauce on the outside of the aluminum trays. We ordered a Sprite and a Fanta, but received a Coke and a refund for the missing drinks. We also ordered two different kinds of pizza rolls, which were simply made of pizza dough. The pizza rolls arrived burnt and were therefore inedible. The tomato and mozzarella salad we ordered consisted more of lettuce leaves than tomato and mozzarella. I had six tomato slices in my salad, which were extremely thin, and two of them still had the stem in them. The spaghetti Bolognese we ordered had hardly any sauce, so I had to eat the pasta practically without any sauce at all. The lasagna had a very watery sauce and the lasagna sheets were completely overcooked. When I then called Pizza Express to complain about the food I had ordered from La Verda Pasta, they simply told me to pick up the money for the pizza rolls myself; I would get that back. When I pointed out to the man on the phone that there were three restaurants operating at the same address, he told me it was a mistake by Lieferando.

Update 4 hours later: I feel absolutely miserable! I'm incredibly thirsty from all the salt and who knows what else! And I have a stomachache. I relied on the reviews and was bitterly disappointed. Apparently, many of the reviews are bought or from friends? The pizza looked nice, but all you could taste was the sour tomato sauce, not the toppings! For €13, I ordered fried vegetables and was looking forward to a nice selection. The vegetables arrived in a dismal state: one potato, one onion, and some unidentifiable other ingredient, slapped together with breadcrumbs, and fried into a mushy mess! Salty, greasy, and completely tasteless, over-seasoned… I'll upload a picture separately for comparison – a car key.

Anyone who says this pizza is delicious either has no taste or their review was bought (as evidenced by the number of English reviews). The pizza is absolutely subpar and made without any care. The only positives are the relatively fast delivery time and the friendly driver.

Horrible, overpriced pizza that was baked into the mosquito net. Unfriendly delivery service. And finally, they were disrespectfully late.

The food really wasn't bad so far, but the friendliness has deteriorated considerably. If the food isn't delivered in full, they just hang up on the phone and deliver it when it suits them. I really can't recommend the shop anymore and I won't be eating here again.

Pizza is okay but the salads are crap and overly expensive... you call and no one answers after 10 p.m. even though the opening times are until 11 p.m. in their brochures... the pizzas are otherwise good...

Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it. We had to wait two hours for our pizza. After asking, he said if he arrived later than 10 minutes, we wouldn't have to pay. It was 20 minutes, and he only wanted to give us a €10 discount. This was different from what we had agreed upon. After more than two hours, we had two very hungry children and no pizza.

Unfortunately, they're extremely unfriendly. The prices online are wrong. When you call to complain, the owner becomes abusive. Never again for us!

A catastrophe!!!! Absolutely not recommended!!!! Ordered via the website at 5:53 p.m. and received confirmation by email, but still no delivery at 8:35 p.m.!!! Then I called and the man on the phone told me that he didn't have an order!! I laughed hugely because he then read out my order to me and told me that a fraudster was using the website to harm himself!! So dear owner, either you manage to organize the logistics and especially your online shop better or the shop will go bankrupt at some point!!! The four of us are sitting here and we're slapping our thighs with laughter!!!! Unbelievable and again, absolutely not recommended!!!!!!!!!!!

The supplier himself has absolutely no interest in his job. Food was left in bowls on the floor. Waiting 1.5 hours on a Monday for a few grains of rice with 4 small pieces of meat and 5 onions was an absolute failure. No thanks. Absolute shame to sell something like that. It's the first and last time. Thanks for wasting time!

I will never order there again. Ordered via Lieferando, food arrived on time. Service was good, but the food was inedible. 1st order was tortellini with ham cream sauce, tortellini mushy and sauce tasted like water. 2nd order was four pizzas, unfortunately we were also disappointed. All pizzas were soggy because there was a lot of oil on the pizzas, there was hardly any tuna on them, pepperoni didn't taste like anything. When it came to spinach, there were more stems than leaves on the pizzas. I DO NOT recommend Pizza Express.

Delivery took almost over 1 1/2 hours, then they forgot my Coke and claimed I hadn't said it. The funny thing is that I ordered through Lieferando, so I had nothing to do with the pizzeria over the phone. The delivery person also claimed that there was no name on the doorbell, strange because otherwise I wouldn't receive any letters... I never received my coke for €3.30. Overall, there are a few things that need to be improved. There were only a few mushrooms that could be counted on the Funghi pizza, despite the overpriced they really saved a lot on ingredients. A pity....

Wat een heerlijke taarten hebben, allemaal huisgemaakt. Je kan kiezen uit bijna 10 taarten en ze zagen er allemaal heerlijk uit. De bediening is ook aardig. Met het lekker weer kan je buiten zitten en kijk je uit over het stadhuis.

Bester Lieferservice in ganz Schongau. Das Essen war extrem schnell da und war zudem noch heiß. Der Lieferant war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Preislich auch total im Rahmen. Das Essen war sehr lecker (Pizza, Nudeln und Salat). Gerne bestelle ich dort wieder und würde es jedem weiterempfehlen.

Absolut überteuert und kleiner als angegeben . Dann wird für eine Extra Zutat 2.50€ verlangt. Auf der Pizza war viel zu wenig Belag drauf . Einmal und nie wieder!

Ich habe eine Partypizza mit extra Zutaten bestellt. Diese war auch in der abgegebenen Zeit geliefert. Jedoch beim verzehren der Pizza stellte ich fest, das sämtliche extra Zutaten gefehlt haben. Jedoch wurde der volle Preis bezahlt. Das finde ich recht schade. Das man so was wichtiges vergisst zum mal es sich um 4 Extras gehandelt hat. Also konnte es auch nicht ausgegangen sein. Ich werde nicht mehr da bestellen.

Tiramisu war gefroren, Pizza nicht sonderlich gut. Update jetzt 5 Sterne: Ich habe angerufen, Tiramisu wurde extra für uns eingefroren und die Shrimps sind frisch aus dem Lech gefangen Auf Wunsch hätten wir das Geld zurückbekommen. Super Service

Die Tasse LUMUMBA war nicht schlecht, aber wir haben bessere getrunken. Bei uns im Norden nennt man dieses Getränk "Tote Tante", das ist keine kritk, aber etwas mehr Schoggi und Rum wären bessser

Die Bestellung wurde wie immer pünktlich von nettem Personal geliefert. Sonderwünsche und Gratiswein wurden nicht vergessen. Das Essen war leider nicht alles gut. Wir hatten: Pizza - sehr gut wie immer Frühlingsrollen - auch sehr gut Chiken Pakora - leider stellenweise versalzen, sonst gut Chef Salat - Lieben wir, nur dieses Mal etwas viel Käse und wenig Dressing Grillteller - ein Nogo. Die verschiedenen Sorten Fleisch waren 2 kleine Schweinesteaks und ein größeres Geflügelsteak. Hätte hier eher 3-4 Sorten erwartet. Die Beilagenpommes waren eine Miniportion, vielleicht wie die kleinste McDonalds Größe. Es kam noch ein Beilagensalat, der nicht angegeben war, aber der hat es auch nicht rausgerissen. Vor allem, weil wir den anderen Salat nicht gebraucht hätten, wenn der angegeben wäre. Das nächste Mal also wieder Pizza.

Nur die Nudeln sind gut. Hat letztes Mal meine Cola vergessen und sie nicht gebracht, schlechter Service

Der Chicken Burger war mega groß und lecker. Für den Preis wird man mehr als nur Satt! Da kommt so leicht kein anderes Restaurant hin!

Pizzas und Salate sind sehr gut, die Lieferanten sind auch immer freundlich.

Das Essen (Pizza und Salat) war sehr gut! Der Salat war frisch mit Saucen nach Wahl und die Pizza war Schön heißt und gut belegt! Gerne wieder und grüße aus Hohenfurch! Der Wein hat auch sehr gut dazu geschmeckt 👍😀

Ich kann nicht nachvollziehen warum so viele dermaßen schlechte Bewertungen abgeben. Bestellt haben wir über Lieferando. Die Bestellung wurde trotz Extrawunsch genau geliefert. Das Essen war noch heiß trotz 12 km Entfernung zum Lieferdienst. Die Lieferung wurde laut Online Plattform um 17:45 angekündigt, der Fahrer stand um 17:27 vor unserer Tür und war sehr freundlich. Das Essen war lecker und die Portionen waren angemessen. Ergänzung am 14.8. Haben heute das 2te mal bestellt und wieder war das Essen super. Die Menge war beachtlich, der Teller war gehäuft voll und war auch diesmal wieder lecker. Da wir weiter weg wohnen bestellen wir 2 Mahlzeiten pro Kopf damit wir auf den Mindestbestellwert kommen und selbst aufgewärmt schmeckt es. Das Fleisch ist nicht zäh und nahezu fettfrei, die Nudeln sind nicht zu hart, nicht zu weich, der Salat ist frisch, was will man mehr? Auch der Fahrer (der gleiche wie das letzte mal) war sehr Freundlich und gut drauf und wir haben sogar eine Flasche Wein geschenkt bekommen. Wir können absolut nicht meckern und empfehlen den Pizza Express gern weiter.

Die Käsenudeln schmecken zwar super lecker, aber die wenigen Nudeln, die man mit viel Geld bezahlt, sind ein Witz und eine bodenlose Frechheit. Mein 6 jähriger Sohn hat alles aufgegessen. Wie soll dann ein Erwachsener satt werden.

Ausgezeichneter Ort für eine gute Pizza! Die Pizza ist gut zubereitet und mit verschiedenen Zutaten. Der Service ist gut und die Preise sind erschwinglich. Ich bereue nicht, dass ich sie gegessen habe, ich habe sie sehr genossen.

Liegt direkt am Rathaus - man kann sehr schön draußen sitzen. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und das Eis schmeckte bei überschaubarem Preis sehr gut.
