Pizza Basilico Ascione in Bad Nauheim

We've been completely satisfied with every order we've ordered here so far. Recommendations: salami pizza, arrabiata pasta, and Italian salad with a side of tuna.

Great little pizzeria. The owners are super friendly and the food was really delicious. The prices are okay, but the seating area is a bit small, so the ambiance isn't that great.

Since no one answered the phone at my local Italian restaurant, I quickly looked for a suitable Italian restaurant while I was out and about and found Basilico. After calling, I was able to pick up my order in no time. At home, I had schnitzel with fries and pizza, and everything tasted amazing. Thank you so much!

Unfortunately, the pizza was a bit too dark for me. When they asked for a new one, I asked for it after an hour. I received a new one with a crust that wasn't fully cooked. When I asked what that was about, they told me I was probably trying to rip them off. I've always been very satisfied. What a shame.

The pizza is simply the best you can get in Bad Nauheim

This is actually a delivery service that has a few tables and chairs in the shop. The food and drinks (wine and San Pellegrino water) are great. You can watch the "chef" at work in the "open" kitchen. That builds trust! You can order either in Italian style or by pointing at the menu. That's Italia in Bad Nauheim. The chairs could use a bit of an overhaul or replacement. They're already pretty worn. And if a bucket of paint for the walls comes along, everything would be perfect again.

A small restaurant that seems inconspicuous at first glance - but surprises with a lot of charm and Italian flair. The delivery service seems to be the main business, but I ate there myself and was pleasantly surprised. A real insider tip!

Here we cook with a lot of love. My favorite dishes, Pizza Mare and Spaghetti Mare, are always delicious. 😋 Those who give negative comments because of poor telephone availability should go there. Anna and her husband haven't been able to find kitchen help for a long time. So if the two of them are alone in the kitchen, you can calculate how many dishes they can prepare at the same time. Conclusion, go there and eat on site or pick up. It's always worth it.

Original Italian food from the mother of the house. Super good at reasonable prices with a pinch of warmth in small, familiar rooms.

Simple ambience, but that only applies to the furnishings. The food not only looks great, it tastes even better than it looks. Bruschetta with spinach and garlic are still just as good as they were 3 years ago.

The dishes taste so great, originally Italian. It usually only takes 10-15 minutes to pick up.

My friends and I love Basilico for the very homely atmosphere. The owner and chef are the sweetest people and serve the most authentic Italian food I have eaten in Bad Nauheim.

I paid €25 for a pizza and a caprese salad including delivery service! The map visible on the Internet is allegedly out of date. The gastronomy in Bad Nauheim and the surrounding area has always been more gastric than gastronomic. The prices are astronomical. I actually would have had to pay €15. This will save me a lot of money in the future. So much for the best Germany of all time... impudence wins!

I have ordered or wanted to order a pizza to be picked up three times in the last few weeks. 1.) Pizza Tuscany, quite small, toppings were good quality. 4/5 stars 2.) I had to call several times over a period of 30-40 minutes and no one answered at first. Pizza Italia, quite small, topping quality was very average, dough wasn't quite cooked through! 2/5 stars 3.) Nobody answers the phone again... I've now ordered somewhere else. You should keep in mind that the location has 3 or 4 tables to serve on site.

Do you know this from Italy 🇮🇹? The simplest pizzerias with the simplest furniture have the best food. This also applies to the Basilico... Completely inconspicuous from the outside and inside and yet large! All I can tell you is that it's not just a pizzeria, here you can also fulfill your wishes that aren't on the menu. 🥰 For example, you won't find my pasta with asparagus on it, but it was a dream tossed in butter and sage... The pasta that Anna is holding in the photo was also a work of art by Donato, it was pre-ordered for a family “Pasta Mare” I think it was called…☺️ In Napoleonic hands, Donato also had large restaurants before and can cook anything, Anna is a salad queen and also makes excellent turkey schnitzels like mom's, Gian Luca, the pizza maker conjures up every pizza for you with a pinch of amore. 🙃😁 You quickly feel at home here. I have already taken the three of them to my heart and I really, really enjoy being there. ❤️

We used to eat there very often. AAAABEEEEERRR with all due respect, I find paying 40 euros for a family pizza with a 3 cm thick base absolutely unacceptable. That was it for Basilico (It only had 3 toppings).

Very small restaurant, hardly any space for comfort, limited selection of dishes. We ordered three different pizzas. They all definitely tasted better than at larger neighboring restaurants or delivery services.

Good pizza and pasta, gladly again. (Sometimes difficult to reach, but that depends on the time and demand.) We usually pick things up ourselves.

It's a small pizzeria Togo, with a few tables. You can look directly into the kitchen and watch how the food is being prepared. The food is very good, the owners are very nice and we feel very comfortable! It's family! Anyone expecting a restaurant is wrong here. We would love to come back, after a visit to the cinema or just to have a quick feast!

At first I thought all the 5-star reviews were exaggerated, but they are really that good. The taste is actually really good. It's a bit tight in the restaurant but you can't get to the tables.

You call them and no one answers the phone, or you are constantly pushed away. That's not how you do good business. And you lose your regular customers as a result. Absolutely incomprehensible to me. Very bad.

Great local pizzeria, the decor is simple and cozy. Very friendly staff. You can sit and eat inside, many take food to go. We drop by here when the opportunity arises. The pizza is fresh, tasty and at reasonable prices.

Not a restaurant, more of a bar, but the food was good - very good and plentiful

Habe heute eigeniniativ zweimal beim erfolgreichen Starten des Lieferautos der Pizzeria ("Batterie leer") geholfen, nicht mal ein "Gracie", sondern als "Dank" eine verkohlte Pizza bekommen. Beim Ansprechen der Situation konnte mir niemand antworten, obwohl ich von vorherigen Besuchen weiß, dass man Deutsch spricht. Die Mitarbeiterin hat mich angegrinst, der Mitarbeiter sich um das Kochen gekümmert. Angesichts der anderen, überwiegend positiven Bewertungen rate ich dennoch von einem Besuch in dieser Lokalität ab.

Leider war meine Bestellung bei diesem Lieferrestaurant enttäuschend. Nicht nur waren die Preise höher als auf der Karte angegeben, sondern die Pizza kam auch kalt an. Nach mehrmaligen Beschwerden über Telefon ohne jegliche Reaktion seitens des Restaurants wurde schließlich einfach aufgelegt. Die mangelnde Kommunikation und der fehlende Kundenservice haben mein Essenserlebnis stark beeinträchtigt, NIE WIEDER! FINGER WEG!

Ich kenne diese Pizzaria seit Jahren durch meine Arbeit, alle schwärmen davon. Auch wenn ich gern vieles ausprobiere und auch öfter privat in Bad Nauheim bin, ich will dort gar nichts anderes mehr testen, ich will immer nur Pizza von dort! Auch das Personal ist fantastisch freundlich! Weiter so!!

Das Lokal ist nicht besonders schön, dafür die Pizza nur mit frischen Beilagen belegt. Der Salat war auch richtig lecker!!!

Family business with genuine Italian flair. Always great Pizza and Pizza for reasonable prices. Just a handful of tables which gives you the nice atmosphere of eating in the kitchen of a family.

Hatte per Lieferung bestellt Die Leute sind Top. Kenne Sie schon ne Weile und mag Sie beide sehr. Freundlich und lustig ist das Ehepaar, die seit langem diese Pizzeria betreiben. Also unbedingt ausprobieren.

Meine Schwester und mein Schwager haben mich in Bad Nauheim besucht und standen mit ihrem Wohnmobil am Sportpark. Kein Restaurant in der Nähe, aber die Telefonnummer von Pizza Basilico Ascione griffbereit. Das Ergebnis: ein Super-Pizza-Abend im Womo mit einem sehr sehr leckeren Essen und tollem Lieferservice. Danke dafür! Jederzeit wieder, auch ohne Wohnmobil.

Gutes Essen, freundlich. Drinnen auch zum Sitzen. Terrassen-Betrieb wurde von der Stadt Bad Nauheim untersagt - leider. Für mich nicht nachvollziehbar!

Die besten Spaghetti Carbonara die ich seit langem gegessen habe. Große Portion zum günstigen Preis, sehr zu empfehlen.

Super leckere italienische Küche. Zwar sind die Räumlichkeiten sehr klein, aber das gleichen die Gaumenfreuden wieder aus. Ausserdem gute Preisleistung. Gerne wieder.

Einfach nur lecker 😋viele Gerichte schon gegessen. Und die beste Pizza die ich gegessen habe. Wenn man Hunger und da essen gehen möchte ein muss der gerne italienisch isst.

Die Pizza war seeehr lecker. Nur die Speisekarten waren etwas irritierend. Über dem Bestellfenster standen teilweise andere Preise und Getränkegrößen als auf der Karte. Super liebe Bedienung.

Ein echter Standard Italienisches Restaurant Hier ist wahrscheinlich nix selbst gemacht. Knoblauch Hauptsache das ist mit dabei.

Das Essen ist sehr lecker und super günstig. Das Personal ist auch sehr freundlich.

Für mich noch eine echte italienische Pizzeria. Nicht unbedingt für romantische Aufenthalte geeignet, aber zum Essen mitnehmen hervorragend.
