The food was excellent as always, but unfortunately, the prices for starters have increased significantly compared to the rest of the dishes, while some portions have become smaller (for the starter platter). Hence, a star deduction. The ambiance and service are also very good.

We've been visiting Pikilia in Puchheim for several years now, and the restaurant has seen its ups and downs over time. However, the quality has noticeably improved over the past one to two years. They also have a lovely garden area where you can sit outside and enjoy your meal in peace. The garden it's only open when the weather allows, usually in late spring or during the summer. The restaurant is usually quite full in the evenings, so I highly recommend making a reservation in advance—especially on special occasions. The portions are generous, and the food is delicious. Sometimes the service can take a bit longer, mainly because the place is so busy, but the staff are always very friendly and attentive.

We wanted to try something new and were not disappointed. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by a wonderful atmosphere and very friendly staff. The beautiful weather lured us outside, although the interior is also very uniquely decorated. The food was excellent. Our 2.5-year-old son was treated to a colorful welcome drink. All in all, a great kid-friendly restaurant. We'd love to come back.

We ordered for the first time today (delivery service). Very attentive service that followed up to make sure our orders were what we wanted (we placed 2 individual orders). Food was very tasty and good portion size! The gyro was probably one of the best gyros we've ever had! Very lean, thin slices and deliciously seasoned.

So yesterday I went to this restaurant for the first time...totally disappointed with the Greek food, no taste, the service was totally bad with a 1 hour wait...nothing at all for women's day, at least the women had received a rose or a flower, nothing. I'm totally disappointed 😞 😞

Absolutely recommended! Fantastic cuisine, always freshly prepared. The salad dressing is particularly tasty, not everyone can do it. Always friendly staff that you rarely find anymore. The restaurant is furnished in a cozy Mediterranean style. One drawback is the rather narrow seating. There would still be room for improvement. A beautiful beer garden completes the positive overall impression. Thank you for the nice moments we have been able to spend in your restaurant so far.

I can only recommend this Greek restaurant! 👍 Both the cozy atmosphere and the always friendly staff are convincing. But especially the excellent cuisine. The lunch menu is very good and there are also inexpensive dishes. We have been visiting this restaurant regularly for a long time and have never had any cause for complaint. However, the benches and tables could offer a little more space. Driving through the narrow rows in a wheelchair becomes an adventure. Therefore one point deducted. But during the warm season you can easily sit in the beer garden.

Some of the food we ordered was not fully cooked, and a special request for the side dish (fries instead of rice) was not implemented. The food (including gyros) didn't taste particularly good either, I know better Greeks.

DELIVERY ON NEW YEAR'S EVE: We were extremely satisfied. It was our first order and so we were excited. Food for 4 arrived quickly. Quality really great. The appetizer platter even came on a platter :) It was extremely large, so we were able to enjoy it even on New Year's Day. Price/performance: 1*

We always enjoy coming here. The food is just like the restaurant’s motto “simply Greek”. There are no special specialties, BUT everything we had was very tasty food and sometimes huge portions. Special recommendation: Ouzo therapy (starter.... For 1 person, enough for 2). All the waitresses we have had here so far have been extremely courteous and friendly. The atmosphere is similar to the two sister restaurants “Tou Bakali” and is therefore super rustic and cozy.

Best Greek restaurant and I've been to many and this one tops everything

So, I would actually give this restaurant a good rating, as the food is excellent. Unfortunately, something went wrong with our order today. Firstly, we received rotisserie gyros instead of the regular gyros we ordered. Secondly, there was a really long, dark hair in my rice with the souvlaki. Unfortunately, that's really disgusting, and the food was no longer enjoyable for me. It's a real shame about the food.

All around, it was great. A delicious fish platter for lunch, fast and attentive service, and a truly pleasant atmosphere.

I usually go to Pikilia with colleagues primarily for lunch, and we are all delighted with the quality of the food, the very friendly service and the cozy Greek atmosphere of the restaurant. We also notice that it is otherwise well attended, so it's not just us who notice this. The price is also almost unbeatable - especially in today's times. Many thanks to the innkeepers, with an encouraging “keep it up!”

I like to go there often. Every now and then at lunchtime too. The food is fantastic, the portions are large so everyone gets full. I don't know of a better Greek restaurant.

Good food, nice staff, I would recommend

After a very long time we went to this address again. The small parking lot next to the restaurant offered enough space for us, but it could be a bit tight at a later hour. When we entered the restaurant, we were very positively surprised by the very inviting and appropriate atmosphere. The service staff were very attentive and the food came very quickly. We had bifteki and a special creation (gyros with a small bifteki and fries). The portions were large. So big that even for me, a good eater, it was a bit too much. However, the food was very good (kudos again to the kitchen). We will definitely come back.

We have been to this nice and somewhat unusually decorated restaurant several times. The Greeks can also do it without a fishing net. The dishes are presented very appetizingly and taste very, very good. That makes you happy when you go out to eat. But I have never or very rarely experienced such service. The entire service staff is extremely friendly, attentive and lovable. Actually, all Greek family businesses are friendly. But Pikilia particularly stands out after the new landlord took over. Despite the VAT increase, this restaurant is always busy. Some constantly complaining landlords could learn something from this. We'll definitely be back.
