PIER 58 Flammerie in Heilbronn

The most amazing Flammkuchen I have ever tried here in the region. Beats even most places in France. The ambiance inside is super cozy and rustic, servers are very nice, and the cooks work fast. Loved it and will come again!

I can only recommend it. Really delicious service is also top notch and flying the flag when ordering is a really great idea. Flammkuchen were ready so quickly and didn't even have the drinks 😂 Also some vegan dishes.

Pier 58 is a real gem in Heilbronn! Located directly on the Neckar, it not only offers a beautiful view, but also a unique maritime ambience that invites you to linger. The tarte flambées are simply sensational – crispy, creatively topped and prepared with great attention to detail. I was particularly impressed by the variety: from classic variants to vegetarian and vegan options, there is something for every taste.  The service is warm and attentive. The innovative “flag system” for ordering is not only original, but also extremely practical - so you always feel well looked after without being disturbed.  Whether for a cozy dinner for two or a convivial evening with friends – Pier 58 is always an excellent choice. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

The food was really delicious, and the waiting time between tarte flambées was a maximum of 10 minutes, which is of course great. However, we didn't feel welcome, especially towards the end of our stay. We were also charged an extra 6 euros, although we only ordered 2 drinks and the tour twice. Maybe it was the salad that was offered to us rather intrusively at the beginning, but we declined? We didn't ask for an invoice, which was of course our mistake and we still can't understand where the extra charge came from. All in all, very tasty food. Would like to come again, but unfortunately the service spoiled it.

Meat in vegan tarte flambée!!! Ordered there via the Uber eats app on Wednesday last week. 17. Champions roll vegan also under vegan management. The tarte flambée came with bacon!!! Absolutely no go!!! I then called them straight away... since Uber didn't deliver (too late) they couldn't really help me, in the background a stressed-out lady was talking about it being only vegan because of a lactose intolerance (I have no idea how the lady came up with that) I was then put off with a voucher… the first email came to see if I was really the angry customer. Then another email came with the information that you could eat the tarte flambée because it does not contain lactose... but it does contain bacon, which is of course great in a VEGAN tarte flambée. Then they wanted my exact address in order to send me a voucher (for whatever reason this can't be done by email) the voucher hasn't arrived 1.5 weeks later. Either it comes by messenger on horseback, or not at all, which I find much more realistic... I don't understand why you offer vegan products if you don't deliver them. An apology was sent via email for the mistake, but this doesn't help me when I'm hungry and don't eat meat!!! If the voucher had come I wouldn't have even written a negative review, but doing something wrong first and then not even taking responsibility for it is just shit. And pork in a vegan product is an absolute NO-GO!!!!!

Wow... the four of us made the trip from Stuttgart to Heilbronn. What can I say... every kilometer was worth it! We did the round trip, meaning all-you-can-eat with tarte flambée. The girls started at the top and we men started at the bottom... it doesn't matter which tarte flambée you choose, be it sweet or savory, it's amazing. We'll be back! The service is warm and very attentive; when you're here, you won't want for anything 🥰. We'll be back!!!!

I am very impressed with Pier. The tarte flambées are awesome. We didn't get one that we didn't like. The kitchen was very quick. At times we couldn't keep up with the food and had to slow down with the orders. The service was good and funny. And the man at the bar made really good drinks. All in all it was a great experience. You feel welcome and valued. With a small restaurant you have to expect that it will be cramped. But the decor is tasteful and cozy. I'd love to come back. You can also get something vegan and vegetarian for everyone.

When the question comes up where we want to eat, we always end up at Pier 58. For me, there is nothing comparable. You feel like you're at home - a super cozy atmosphere and everyone is extremely welcoming. The service always tries to ensure that the guests are well and responds to everything in a very courteous and polite manner. If it gets stuck here and there, you can also get some schnapps on the house. The tarte flambées are super tasty and also really cheap for the quality they contain. We always use the all you can eat offer because it is the most worth it and you can try it out. As soon as the tarte flambées are on the table, you can order the next round straight away so as not to waste time if it gets fuller. The system with the flag is ingenious and really fun! Everything was done with a lot of love and passion. We love it and can absolutely recommend it!

Am very disappointed. Despite a reservation, the table was given away. There are two time slots: one until 8 p.m. and one from 8 p.m., I had reserved until 8 p.m. When we were there the table was taken. Pier58 is probably the worst restaurant I have ever experienced. The staff, especially the tall blonde waitress who also manages the reception, is extremely unfriendly and absolutely unhelpful. The store is disorganized and just bad. Reservations are regularly not honored and then people just look at you stupidly. Between the rounds of the tarte flambée tour there is always a tactical wait so that you can order a maximum of 3 tarte flambée in the 3 hours in which you are allowed to be there. This has nothing to do with all you can eat and is simply cheeky. I'm surprised that there are any good reviews at all, I don't understand that at all. Furthermore, you sit so close together that you can eat from strangers' plates. just sad. I would be happy if another restaurant came there. And then scare people on the phone that if you don't keep the reservation for 15 minutes you'll have to pay a €25 fine, but then giving the tables to strangers is a cold call that's second to none. simply for profit at the expense of all guests.

Unfortunately not convincing. We chose the round trip offer for tarte flambée. Unfortunately, there was always a commercial calculation break of around 30 minutes between the rounds, which meant that we weren't able to really take advantage of the actually good offer within our time. Appropriately, we received a brown greeting at regular intervals from the crows that nested in the trees. The pier can't do anything about that, but it wouldn't be asking too much to put an umbrella over all the outdoor seating! To top it all off, we couldn't pay using the agreed payment method. But the tarte flambées were good! At least in the places the crows didn't hit.

The taste was great, but the size of the tarte flambée and the topping were unfortunately rather poor for the price. The Flammluchen tour is a great idea, unfortunately with very long waiting times between rounds, so you get the impression it's a tactic. Our table was only reserved for 2 hours - we asked the waiter beforehand if we would be able to get there in time with the tour - he said yes - we only managed 4 rounds in that time - which ended up being more expensive for us than if we had ordered 8 tarte flambées individually . Maybe the concept can be revised with a fixed number of tarte flambées? :)
