PHO - Noodlebar (Zoo) in Berlin

The food came very quickly and the employees were all very friendly. Food tasted great! The only point of criticism for me is the music, which was a bit too loud for me personally, but the great food distracted me from it ^^

We were there for the first time yesterday and it certainly won't be the last time. The restaurant is really nice. The seats are comfortable (there are also cushions if the surface is too hard), the service is incredibly nice and courteous and the food is great. The menu is designed in the form of a ticket and is very clear. We once had the Pho set of 5 with different types of beef and also an egg in soup, the fried udon noodles and the curry with chicken. Everything was very tasty and I received instructions on how to best enjoy my food. The homemade drinks were also great. I had sugar beet juice and the waiter asked me if I had ever drunk it because it is very sweet and he has often had guests to whom he had told them so but in the end they left it because it was too sweet for them was. I had no problems with it and found it very tasty. I can only recommend the store.

We are big fans of Vietnamese cuisine and when we saw this restaurant near the metro station, we didn’t think twice about it. We were lucky, it was delicious again! The service was a little slow, it took a long time to wait for the first contact with the waiter, but then everything went better. We took 2 different soups, one with 5 types of beef, including raw, and the second with shrimp. It was very tasty, it’s a pity we are tourists and we won’t get there soon, otherwise we would have visited more than once, which is what I wish for you.

Lots to say. The service was ok, the decor is quite nice and the toilets were clean. The gyozas were good. The pork ribs were dry but the sauce was able to catch up with the dish. The staff speaks English. However, the pho was a huge disappointment. How can you serve soybeans with roots first? Soy that was really starting to darken. Basil leaves with sprigs straight into the soup? No fatty broth possible? Apparently the broth is already fatty yet the broth only tasted like water. No fatty meat possible either, apparently, the fat is cut and thrown away!! Exorbitant price for a soup that is small in portion and disappointing. 16€ is excessive. No sauces on the tables? - Nuoc mam, hoisin, salt/pepper

If there are more staff than guests in the restaurant and it takes them half an hour to forget one of two meals, that's not good. One meal was excellent.

Honestly even if I wanted to I couldn't say anything bad about this place. We had dinner here for two yesterday. Service was very warm and welcoming. Drinks and food came super fast and they were very delicious. Portions are also massive so make sure to check this place out. I personally would have to recommend you to check out their Tropical Candy beverage made fresh out of sugarcane. Great place will definitely be coming back whenever we're in Berlin:)

This is a real deal Vietnamese food, trust me, I'm from Asia. The price is reasonable and the service is great. I'm longing a heart warming meal, and the pho here just satisfied me very well.

“Pho am Zoo” is a real highlight for lovers of Vietnamese cuisine! As soon as you enter the restaurant you are greeted by the inviting atmosphere and cozy ambience. The highlight of the visit was definitely the Pho – the Vietnamese national soup, which is prepared here to the highest standard. The broth was incredibly flavorful, perfectly seasoned and just to die for. The ingredients, from fresh herbs to tender meat, were of excellent quality and harmonized perfectly with each other. In addition to Pho, the restaurant also offers a variety of other Vietnamese specialties, all prepared with love and fresh ingredients. The variety of the menu is impressive, so everyone can find something to their taste. The friendly and attentive service is particularly positive - you really feel welcome here. The restaurant's location is also perfect - it's just a short walk from the Berlin Zoo, making it an ideal destination for a meal after a visit to the zoo or a relaxing stroll. “Pho am Zoo” offers authentic and delicious Vietnamese cuisine that really impresses. I can only warmly recommend the restaurant and am already looking forward to my next visit!

A delicious Pho in itself. I ordered for delivery today. Unfortunately they didn't deliver the broth and noodles separately, which makes the dish a bit “mushy”.

Cool atmosphere with an industrial touch. Unfortunately the toilets were in pretty bad condition. The menu offers a good selection. There are numerous options, especially when it comes to the eponymous Pho. The positive thing is that there is automatically quay (fried dough stick) with the soup. However, my vegan Pho was only mediocre in taste. I've gotten much more aromatic broth and the herbs are also used sparingly. Overall, not bad, but I don't think there will be a repeat visit.

The “Pho special” is good. The light broth. Bring beef or chicken but forget the pork tripe or meatballs... Price 16 euros. The atmosphere is nice as is the service. However, be careful of the “tips” at the end of the meal. 10% minimum. That's to know. In short, after visiting the zoo, you can stop by to eat a soup or curry of the day, which is also excellent according to my neighbor...

Wir hatten zum Abendessen einen Tisch reserviert und obwohl wir zu früh waren, hat das prima geklappt.Die Karte ist überschaubar, aber für jeden Freund der vietnamesischen Küche etwas dabei. Das Essen wird frisch zubereitet und ist sehr lecker. Der Service ist sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Ein Besuch der sich auf jeden Fall lohnt und uns auf das nächste Mal freuen lässt.

I actually liked the store, decor, staff, food, everything cool and good. Unfortunately there was rat droppings on this piece of furniture by the window today. Of course that's not possible, and the reaction to my comment wasn't okay either. I assume that this was an exceptional situation, as it is otherwise clean.

This place is very convenient located near the Berlin Zoo and service here is not great or fast but the taste is good - hence the 4 stars, but for the food taste alone.

Tastiest Pho I've eaten so far. Reserve a table as it is often full. I felt that the service wanted us to leave quickly for the next person. You will smell a bit since the kitchen is open.

One of my favorite restaurants in Berlin for several years. The food has always been excellent and we have always received friendly service. The food is also lovingly packaged to take away. The absolute highlight is the Homemade Lemonades/Icetea

Great location, very close to the train station zoo. Friendly service who assigned you directly. (There are also other locations) The menu also has something for everyone. As long as you are not averse to Asian cuisine, everyone will get their money's worth here. There is even a “Specials” menu that allows you to choose even more dishes. We recommend the homemade drinks, which, like the food, are very tasty and worthwhile. When it comes to the design of the restaurant, it can be said that it was a lot of love. A beautiful glass facade with many wooden tables and chairs, as well as the many open shelves decorated with plants and cool objects such as an old typewriter and a camera, create a good vibe with the LED room lighting. My recommendation to anyone who likes to drink coffee is to try the local Vietnamese coffee, which is very aromatic. A thank you to the waitress, who even kept an eye on when the coffee was finished on the table :)

We've eaten pho here twice and this time we decided on fry pho. Both taste really good, you can't say anything against them. Unfortunately we weren't full this time because the portions were really small. The prices are okay for the location but the portions need to be a little larger.

Good noodle bar for a stopover - right at the Zoo train station. The terrace is not necessarily enchanting - but offers fantastic views of the Upper West, Memorial Church, etc. The vegan pho is delicious - service is quick - prices are ok. Right around the corner you will find Kantstr, Ku’damm & Savigny Platz, the Tiergarten and of course the zoo.

I had the Pho in a wok with beef, beautifully tender meat and deliciously seasoned. The spring rolls with mushrooms were very crispy, great dip, the ginger-mint tea also tasted great, very harmonious. Service is also nice, what more could you want!

I with team of two had the most wonderful time at this Vietnamese restaurant in Berlin during our Europe trip. The restaurant is conveniently located just across the zoo. It was my very first experience with Vietnamese cuisine, and it was absolutely fantastic! The restaurant had such a warm and inviting atmosphere. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted and seated at a cozy table. We started with some hot green tea, which was so comforting. After looking through the menu, we decided on the Chicken Dumpling Sunrise with grilled chicken and traditional noodle soup. The service was exceptional, and the food was incredibly delicious. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant! It was truly a delightful culinary adventure.

A very good restaurant of Asian cuisine, tasty large portions and a good atmosphere, the downside is that the waiters don’t know English well, but they do know German. We ordered soup for two, pho with chicken and beef, spring rolls, and drinks(delicious beer is also available non-alcoholic), everything came out to 40 euros.

The dry pho is an interesting take on a traditional dish. All the elements were executed correctly; however the dish was let down by the fried chicken strips that were not crispy and juicy enough.

Really nice place with nice food. The area is not the best as there is a lot of construction going on but luckily you can sit on the other side. The food was super quick and delicious and the menu is so cool.

This was honestly the best meal I've had in a long time. I was unsure which pho to use and was given excellent advice. The waiter was not only extremely personable, but also radiated wonderful vibes. His recommendation was a hit. I felt very comfortable in the restaurant, the atmosphere was just great. The dessert was also incredibly tasty, although I would have liked a slightly larger selection. Nevertheless, I was completely satisfied and tipped 20% for the first time in my life - it was absolutely deserved!

I had chicken burger and noodle salad. They were not good at all. Small size, high price, and the most tasteless food I’ve ever had! I love Vietnamese but definitely not suggesting this restaurant to anyone😔

Food wasn't good, the dumpling I ordered was dry like a roll, the filling was disgusting. The waitress felt like she was breathing down our necks, was constantly around us, and had no privacy for conversations. My friend also found her food questionable.
