PHO - Noodlebar (Zoo) in Berlin

Found it by chance near my hotel. I was greeted quickly and got a table quickly. Ordering was also relatively quick, and the food was very good. I actually wanted a typical pho, but somehow I didn't quite understand the menu and I'm now annoyed that I didn't ask. But the bowl and the grilled chicken I had were very, very delicious! Great value for money. It certainly won't be my last time there!

A wonderful place! Everything is well-designed and convenient – the power outlets right at the table are a real plus. The staff understands you almost without words and responds quickly and attentively. The smoothie was incredibly delicious, and all the dishes we tried truly impressed us. We'll definitely be back!

I used to order a lot but it got so expensive that it wasn't worth it . Also I got someone's vegan order once b mistake, and they said I have to come by the latest the next day and I would get the actual food I ordered. If I can't make it the next day(it was already to late to go then) then they can't do anything else for me. Here were often things missing or mix-ups when I ordered it long waiting time but the food was good and I accepted it for a while. There are better pho restaurants or as good in town to be hung up on this one. Too bad.

Unfortunately, I had a very unpleasant experience. After being vegan for over seven years, we were served meat here. We ordered vegan gyozas, but our server asked us again to make sure we wanted them (the rest of our order was also completely meat-free). When our orders came and we took the first bites, we were met with a nasty surprise: chicken in the gyozas! After we asked, we received an apology, and the vegan gyozas were brought to us. I would have at least expected a refund for the gyozas, but we were asked to pay the full bill. I would have preferred to leave immediately, but since I was part of a group, that wasn't possible. The food afterward wasn't really enjoyable for me, of course, but it still left a good impression. For me, it was a very unpleasant experience to have to eat meat again after such a long time. I wouldn't recommend the place to vegetarians or vegans!

I really liked the food here, lovely curry, great noodle salad but the service is abysmal. Took forever for food to arrive, waiters to care to take the order. Its just not a pleasant. Experience. Chances are it is run by family which is doubly an indicator not much care is put into it. Sad for the kitchen staff who apparently do care about their craft.

Unfriendly staff. If you have allergies, avoid this place. They'll add anything they want to your dish, even if you've asked them not to.

Overall, it is good taste. The service is good as well. Will try it another time.

I visited with my kids and the server was friendly. And the fried rice sunrice is really fried rice with half-boiled eggs, a Korean-Chinese restaurant style 👍 The chicken is also delicious without any smell. The rice noodles are clean and delicious~! I also recommend the bubble tea from the bubble tea shop next door!

I stumbled in there and just tried. Had the beat Pho out of Vietnam. Amazing. And a good service as well. Want definitely try more the next time.

My favorite soup is PHO,traditional Vietnam soup, also served with crispy fried dough and bean sprouts. The spiciness can be adjusted with red chili peppers. Overall, the restaurant is charming, clean, and the staff are friendly and cheerful. The atmosphere is quiet, making it a great place to meet friends or for other social gatherings. Highly recommended.

Papaya salad 4 out of 5. PHO (with chicken) 2 out of 5 had too many noodles for me personally, which is a matter of taste, but unfortunately the broth was very bland without the usual flavors like cinnamon and anise. I was very surprised, because you can get a solid pho almost everywhere, especially in Berlin. The servers are friendly and helpful. The place is visually appealing. The menu is dated and could be clearer, but no big deal. The price is slightly higher due to the location. I would definitely rework the broth, so it didn't give it more points, unfortunately.

Please stop normalising showing a payment screen with high tip percentages in Berlin and instead pay your employees fairly

I came to the place quite by accident I ate the stir-fried rice dish with the chicken breast. The dish was delicious and juicy I also ordered the soup which was excellent Plus a dumplink and bringing roll Everything was delicious and the service was excellent and professional even though I arrived right before closing the place is highly recommended

We were staying at a hotel nearby and wanted a light and tasty meal. The “PHO - Noodlebar” had exactly that. I had a Bao Bun Burger with mushroom in tempura batter patty. This one was really a hit for me. When it was placed on my pitch, I initially thought that it was quite small. The taste, freshness and interesting texture were really great. Plus the sweet potato fries, which were crunchy. A little too salty for me, but you can quickly change that yourself. The prices are fair and the staff is super nice. Thanks for the nice hour!

There are better ones - tourist trap I would say. Flies everywhere, poor quality meat. Pho below average, duckbowl dry and unspectacular. Summer roll was ok. Apparently 4.3 stars on Google doesn't mean much - I really only write when I feel deceived or pleasantly surprised. Saves the money

Very tasty, really recommended! Since I wasn't that hungry, I had a smaller portion of Phở, which was really enough. The kimchi was also very tasty. I didn't like the sugar in my lemonade, but otherwise it was very tasty. Overall very good.😊

This is my first time at this restaurant, and it will be my last. The waiter was very angry and treated me poorly. I was alone, and the restaurant was almost empty. He asked me to leave my table and move to another one, then another one, just because I was alone and those tables were for four people. However, he didn’t seem to understand German. I spoke to him in English. The food was not very warm; it seemed like it had been sitting out for a long time.

I often get a curry there for lunch. They are always very good and the price is ok. There is a small lunch menu with regularly changing dishes. The pho is good too. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The food is packaged well and almost never leaks. In summer you can sit outside with a view of the Memorial Church. The interiors are also beautifully designed. It's a bit expensive in the evening.

This restaurant offers delicious food and a lovely atmosphere, making it a standout in Berlin. The service is truly one of the best I’ve experienced in the Berlin. However, one area that could use attention is the restroom facilities. On all five of my visits, they were untidy and uncomfortable to use. Overall, it's a fantastic place that I highly recommend.

This is an amazing place, amazing food - the best Pho I’ve tried so far! (and believe me I’ve eaten a lot of pho in Berlin) Waiters are always so friendly and welcoming, especially my favorite, the best waiter is Lee! We were there for the first time yesterday and it certainly won't be the last time. The restaurant is really nice. The seats are comfortable (there are also cushions if the surface is too hard), the service is incredibly nice and courteous and the food is great. The menu is designed in the form of a ticket and is very clear. We once had the Pho set of 5 with different types of beef and also an egg in soup, the fried udon noodles and the curry with chicken. Everything was very tasty and I received instructions on how to best enjoy my food. The homemade drinks were also great. I had sugar beet juice and the waiter asked me if I had ever drunk it because it is very sweet and he has often had guests to whom he had told them so but in the end they left it because it was too sweet for them was. I had no problems with it and found it very tasty. I can only recommend the store.

We are big fans of Vietnamese cuisine and when we saw this restaurant near the metro station, we didn’t think twice about it. We were lucky, it was delicious again! The service was a little slow, it took a long time to wait for the first contact with the waiter, but then everything went better. We took 2 different soups, one with 5 types of beef, including raw, and the second with shrimp. It was very tasty, it’s a pity we are tourists and we won’t get there soon, otherwise we would have visited more than once, which is what I wish for you.

Lots to say. The service was ok, the decor is quite nice and the toilets were clean. The gyozas were good. The pork ribs were dry but the sauce was able to catch up with the dish. The staff speaks English. However, the pho was a huge disappointment. How can you serve soybeans with roots first? Soy that was really starting to darken. Basil leaves with sprigs straight into the soup? No fatty broth possible? Apparently the broth is already fatty yet the broth only tasted like water. No fatty meat possible either, apparently, the fat is cut and thrown away!! Exorbitant price for a soup that is small in portion and disappointing. 16€ is excessive. No sauces on the tables? - Nuoc mam, hoisin, salt/pepper
