In a display case there are Greek specialties that are also sold outside the home. If consumed on site, they are briefly heated in the microwave/oven. Not haute cuisine but ideal and delicious for an uncomplicated stop in between! I had Greek meatballs with rice, delicious with mint. We also had delicious mousaka. You can also buy many delicacies. All in all, highly recommended.

Unfriendly service, no welcoming culture. The cappuccino lacked any café flavor. The gluten-free chocolate cake was very chocolaty, but unfortunately also very dry. It's a shame, because the store concept has potential.

And for those with a sweet tooth: the cakes and handmade treats are amazing. Not an over-the-top sugar circus, but genuine craftsmanship with taste. In short: a place that shows how it's done – quietly, but emphatically. It's great that there are still places like this outside of the usual mainstream! Simply FANTASTIC

The food was ok, but completely overpriced.

The bossy landlady, who is usually grumpy and grumpy towards both her employees and the guests, turns what is actually a nice little snack bar with delicious dishes into a place that you don't like to go to, despite the pretty location and sunny spots. Food top! Boss flop... We were here for lunch and felt unwelcome. She is rude to a guest and loses track of customers' orders. Touches customers' food with unclean hands, which she used to serve at the cash register. ATTENTION: No toilets!

I went a year ago in the summer, I bought some date desserts while my relatives ate mousaka, which they didn't love but it was good according to what they said. The dates were full of worm eggs and live worms, I realized half eaten when I saw one move, at first I thought they were pieces of nuts although I didn't look too hard, it was disgusting. I went to tell the saleswoman and she told me that at most someone else gave it to me and she looked angry and was quite aggressive with me and with the other employee whom I only saw lowering her head so I suppose that attitude is common. I would never go back, I went to the pharmacy on the corner and they gave me some pills in case I caught parasites from eating that. On top of everything, the prices were quite high and the portions were small.

Food a bit bland, service nice, very expensive despite self-service. Won't go there again...

Termination during illness and wages must be claimed. Tips were also withheld. Very disappointing and unprofessional.

Very small portions at, in my opinion, overpriced prices. Eating there is not really recommended. Bright lights, small tables and stools. Unfortunately, the food I chose was tasteless.

As a huge fun of Moussaka, I had quite some expectations. Unfortunately, they were not met. First of all, it was wormed up in the microwave, but rushed and center of it very cold. Second, sauce on top was super weird and absolutely not what’s expected as seen on photo. Usually, this dish goes with some salad, usually small Greek salad, here it was just couple salad leaves. To be honest, for 14 euros it looked very unattractive. P.S. service was quite cold, I waited 4 minutes in front of the desk without any word, without any attention, staff showed close to no interest. Sweet things looked really attractive though, but after such lunch, I had no interest.

Sind im Hotel gegenüber untergekommen und waren auf der Suche nach einem kleinen Happen. Ein wundervoller Laden, in dem man sich nicht entscheiden kann, was man als erstes probieren soll. Total lecker! Wir waren etwas unsicher wie hier bestellt wird, mussten viel nachfragen. Wäre schön da noch etwas mehr Beratung zu erhalten. Trotzdem sehr zu empfehlen! Wenn wir in Berlin sind, gerne wieder!

Alles frisch gemacht und von sehr hoher Qualität, wunderbar lecker. Ich wünsche mir mehr vegane Optionen, auch Kuchen und Torten. Es ist charmant drinnen oder draußen zu sitzen. Ich wurde freundlich bedient.

Sehr freundliche Damen haben uns beraten, es gab genügend Auswahl an leckeren Speisen. Es gibt außerdem auch eine Auswahl an griechischen Weinen. Alles nicht ganz preiswert. Empfehlenswert, wenn man in der Pause mal etwas anderes essen möchte.

Die frischesten Nüsse die man bekommen kann!

Vorzüglicher Mittagstisch und sehr umfangreiches, vorzügliches Delikatessen Angebot…von gefüllten Weinblättern, über Hackfleisch Bällchen bis hin zu einer wirklich außergewöhnlichen Moussaka. Dazu ein sehr großes Angebot an Kuchen, Torten und kleinem Gebäck. Dazu noch sehr nette und freundliche Atmosphäre und sympathische Mitarbeiter. Volle 5 Sterne!

Von Philomenis Nusskuchen bin ich total begeistert. Er schmeckt nicht nur köstlich, sondern überzeugt auch von seinen Zutaten. Zu Weihnachten stellt er eine echte Alternative zum Butterstollen dar, insbesondere auch deshalb, weil er kaum Zucker enthält und trotzdem etwas für "Naschkatzen" ist.

Nie wieder, die Torte war verlockend, nur habe ich Bauchschmerzen noch am 2. Tag danach. Das die Regeln der Kühlung und Haltbarkeit nicht beachtet werden, hat mich schwer enttäuscht!

Bin begeistert vom Mittagsessen und könnte mich reinlegen. Ob da essen oder zum Mitnehmen, immer ein Genuss! (Moussaka und Kürbis Tarte sind unglaublich lecker)

Seit vielen Jahren genieße ich hier gerne leckere Mittagsgerichte oder mal Kuchen und Kaffee in meiner Pause. Zu Spitzenzeiten ist es meist sehr voll, was ja für den Laden spricht. Es ergeben sich nette Kontakte und fast immer ein Lächeln, wenn man mal zusammenrückt für die, die auch gerne noch ein Plätzchen ergattern möchten.

Preise empfinde ich als hoch, Portionen dabei als klein. Auf meinen expliziten Wunsch keine andere Person neben mir am Tisch sitzen zu haben, wurde dort jemand, scheinbar zur Optimierung von Mittagsgeschäft, platziert. Sehr schade aber nicht wieder.

Die Angaben zum Inhalt und Preis des Menüs werden nicht eingehalten. Es kommen immer noch unangemessene Zusatzkosten dazu.

We went across the street to check this place out. The first time we only got pistachios and some Kourabiedes cookies. Both were really fresh and tasty so we went back for lunch the next day. Talked a bit to our very attentive waitress, who told us that the chef is from France. The owner is German (with that kind of particular charm. When I asked our waitress about a cake in the display, the owner came and told us it wasn't ready to be enjoyed and scooted it in a corner of the display area. I haven't had that kind of experience in a long time in Berlin, lol. And I used to live in Charlottenburg for 8 years!!) and our waitress was from Poland. So, I was wondering where Philomeni was, i.e. I was looking for the Greek lady, but no such thing. The two dishes we ordered were solid, but not authentic greek as you would expect. My moussaka was so so. We ordered a bottle of water and a beer and ended up paying +50 €. I would not recommend... The Kourabiedes we're yummy, though! 😆

卖点心蛋糕，坚果，葡萄酒和小菜点的希腊小店，蛋糕还是不错的，不是齁甜的那种，很朴实但味道又很不错的。酥饼夹着淡奶酪是我最爱，每次路过都要买一个。咖啡没尝过，有机会可以试一下。位置好呀，从中午到下午都有太阳可以晒到。马路对面只到十二点就没太阳了。自己做的茄子沙拉味道不错，大家可以试一下。还有其他别的菜，看着卖相下次还要再去尝试。

I actually don't agree with lots of these reviews. We visited this shop 2 days ago with my boyfriend. I only speak English, he speaks the tiniest bit of German so we were worried when it turned out that the lady only spoke German, but she was really nice, understood what my boyfriend was trying to say and also let me try ordering for myself with my awful attempts at German. The pastries were amazing. We also got some of the nut-filled dates, the only problem with those was that they didn't last that long as they were incredibly delicious! We will definitely be back the next time we visit Berlin, I would give 10 stars if I could!

Gestern war ich mal wieder bei Greec Delicious. Die Lasagne die ich mitnahm, war superlecker. Schmeckt so richtig selbstgemacht wie in Italien. Kein Vergleich zu dem, was man oft in italienischen Restaurants hier in Deutschland bekommt. Als Nachtisch dann noch köstliche griechische Kekse. Das Verhältnis Preis-Leistung passt. Die Chefin ist wirklich sehr freundlich, wenn man mit ihr ins Gespräch kommt. Meist bleibt leider wenig Zeit dazu.

Ich hatte Lasagne mitgenommen. Die hat geschmeckt wie in Italien. Kein Vergleich zu dem was man oft in italienischen Restaurants bekommt. Als Nachtisch noch eine Packung griechischer Kekse. Danach war ich rundum glücklich. Im Laden duftet es ganz verführerisch.

Den Preis leider nicht wert, dazu keine (bedingungslose) Kartenzahlung.

Wunderbare Spezialitäten. Hier kann auch Kaffee getrunken werden.

We were surprised about the way we were confronted with unfriendly, even hostile behaviour. There was a misunderstanding about the price of what we ordered. We did not mind paying the price, as there clearly had been a misunderstanding- but I think this could have been handled in a different atmosphere. Now the owner got very defensive and we were treated in a rather rude way. Good to know: there is no toilet for guests in the restaurant.

Food was ok but WAAAY to expensive for it’s size and taste. Do not go there if you want to eat dinner.

Der Geruch und das Interieur im Laden lassen einen direkt in Urlaubserinnerungen schwelgen. Die Speisen sehen sehr lecker aus und sind es auch (habe mehrere Süßwaren bestellt). Preislich nicht günstig, ist aber eben auch ein Feinkostladen und frisch zubereitet (so riecht es zumindest im Laden) und keine Supermarktware (Preis/Leistung passt aus meiner Sicht dafür). LEIDER macht die Verkäuferin vieles zu nichte... Erst hat man mich im Verkaufsraum wahr genommen aber stehen lassen (war allein im Laden), dann jegliche Beratung vermissen lassen. Beim Bestellen ist Sie dann von der falschen Aussprache der gewünschten Sachen genervt. Um eine Tüte zum Transport bei Dunkelheit und Regen musste ich schon nett bitten (Bestellung gab es auf einem kleinen Pappteller), gab es auch widerwillig und genervt. Die Kundin nach mir kommunizierte ihr Beigeisterung für den Laden direkt beim Eintreten, auch diese Stimmung schafft die Verkäuferin direkt zu stoppen. Auf Antworten von "Hallo "und "Auf Wiedersehen" sollte man nicht warten.

Wir haben uns Falafel, Salami und Mangostreifen gekauft und alle drei Sachen waren richtig lecker. Werden dort auf jeden Fall wieder hin gehen. Ich fand den Service sehr nett.

Durch Zufall fanden wir dieses Kleinod. Ein heisser Augustabend lud uns zum Essen ein. Die selbstgemachten Speisen waren sehr gut und wir tranken einen herrlichen griechischen Weißwein. Auch an Kuchenfans ist hier gedacht. Einmal ein anderes griechisches Lokal.

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Selbstgemachte Tarte schmeckt sehr köstlich.

Köstliches Essen mit hochwertigen Zutaten, wunderbare süße Spezialitäten, z.B. Nusskuchen, feine Produkte aus speziellen griechischen Projekten, und nette Location. Immer wieder gern!

Best spinach pie in Berlin. Many greek flavors. I like it as a restaurant/coffee place but as a deli it lacks variety. Also some of the cakes are a bit blunt.

The food is good but the service is terrible, I feel very unwelcome there, the cashier lady, looks like most senior one or boss is so irritating, rude!!! Scolding her staff, little young lady who was nice to me. Anyway, the mushrooms pipe is quite salty, not recommend! Beetroot drink is good but price is a bit expansive, you could get the better price in other shop. Not recommend this shop if you don’t want to feel unwelcome, you have better choice in neighbourhood.

Die Mitarbeiter sind nicht besonders kompetent. Ich wollte Marzipankekse und habe ganz einfache Butterkekse bekommen. Sehr teuer aber auch fantastische Nüsse mit Honig.

This is a cross between a deli and a cafe with delicious pasteries and coffee but also savoury meals. There is a long counter with mouth-watering food, wallspace devoted to olive oil and other Greek treats, and a friendly person behind the counter who will make up a plate for you or box and bag the goodies to take home. Perfect for a stop in the middle of the afternoon, great stuff to take home to eat in or as a gift.

Obwohl das Essen gut ist, ist das Service einfach sehr schlecht. Die Frau an der Kasse ist immer lustlos, irritiert, sie ist ständig mit ihrer Sachen beschäftigt anstatt einen Gast zu begrüßen. Man fühlt sich gar nicht willkommen. Nie wieder.

The food is FABULOUS and the desserts are the same! I grew up eating Greek food and the food at Philomenis is the best I have ever eaten. Better even than in Athens. The service is excellent and the owner is friendly and speaks several languages. It is my favorite restaurant and I go there often.

Ausgesprochen phantasievolle, gesunde und wohlschmeckende Gerichte, die wir uns direkt an der Theke aussuchen konnten. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Im heißen Berliner Sommer ist diese kleine Lokalität ein idealer Ort, um sich im Schatten des kleinen Vorgartens bei ausgezeichnetem Essen und Trinken zu erholen. Unwiderstehlich die vielen feinen Köstlichkeiten wie z. B. die Früchte in Schokolade oder die gerösteten karamellisierten Nüsse. So gut, dass es diesen Platz gibt - auch für schmalere Geldbeutel.

Wunderbare, immer frische Lebensmittel in einer der schönsten Ecken Berlins. Das heutige Pilz-Moussaka war köstlich - und erst das Baklava!!!

Wir können das Geschäft vor allem wegen der (echt leckeren) mit Schokolade umhüllten getrockneten Früchten, Tartes oder "Rocher"-artigen Schokosplittern empfehlen. Für die doch sehr hohen Preise und das großzügige "Aufrunden" des Gewichts und damit des Preises gibt es einen Punkt Abzug. Die warmen Speisen (vor allem zur Mittagszeit) sollen hier aber auch sehr lecker sein - wir können es nur nicht selbst bestätigen.

Essen spitze - Service katastrophal! Zunächst ein Riesenlob an den Koch/ die Köchin, das Essen ist wirklich ausgezeichnet und war für mich viele Male Grund genug immer wieder zu kommen, trotz der unangenehmen Situationen die man hier regelmäßig beim Service erleben darf. Angefangen bei passiv-aggressiver aufgesetzter Freundlichkeit bis hin zu ewigem Warten, dass man bezahlen oder bestellen darf. Häufig wird man erst mal ewig ignoriert und muss sich dann noch bemerkbar machen, damit man überhaupt erst mal begrüßt wird, selbst als regelmäßiger Gast. Im Aussenbereich wird man auch mal mittendrin frech umplatziert, weil man ja schließlich alleine da ist und drei weitere Leute gefälligst Platz finden sollen. (Auch das Pärchen, bei dem ich dann Platz nehmen sollte, wurde nicht etwa gefragt ob sie das ok fänden.) Aber das wirklich Schlimmste dort ist die Tatsache, dass die Besitzerin ihre eigenen Angestellten vor versammelter Kundschaft zusammenstaucht und anherrscht als wären diese ihre unmündigen Kinder. Mehrmals waren meine Begleiter_innen und ich schon in dieser Fremdschäm-Situation, wo man einfach nur gehen möchte, weil so eine aufgeladene Stimmung in der Luft liegt und einem die jungen Leute leid tun, die offenbar solch existentielle Not haben, diese Frau ertragen zu müssen. Einmal sagte ich ihr, sie möge das doch bitte lassen, es wäre wirklich unangenehm für mich als Kundin, ich möchte etwaige Konflikte mit dem Personal eigentlich nicht mitbekommen müssen sondern einfach nur entspannt hier essen. Das sah sie allerdings ganz anders und verteidigte ihre „erzieherischen“ Maßnahmen noch. Also ich bin einfach nur schockiert und kann nur jedem empfehlen, sich genau zu überlegen, ob er sich die kleine Auszeit so vermiesen lassen möchte. Dieses Feinkost-Bistro zu fairen Preisen könnte eine Goldgrube sein. Wenn der Service stimmen würde, ich wäre viel öfter hier. Der Laden hat wenig Konkurrenz und eine super Location-allerdings gibt es sehr wohl Alternativen. Ich zumindest kann da erst mal nicht mehr hingehen, weil ich keine Lust habe in meiner Mittagspause schlechte Laune zu bekommen. Statt sich kurz zu erholen, bleibt einem das feine Essen im Hals stecken. Gastfreundschaft sieht anders aus gute Frau! Und wenn ihr Personal wirklich so unfähig ist, wie Sie regelmäßig vorführen möchten, dann sollten Sie vielleicht ein paar Euro mehr in die Hand nehmen und sich nach Alternativen umsehen.

Also! Normalerweise schreibe ich ja keine Bewertungen. Aber diese unterschwellige Boshaftigkeit mit der die Verkäuferin mich auf höchst höfliche Art behandelt hat... erschreckt mich sehr... Nachdem ich nett nach einer Spinat Käse Tasche fragte und auch dann nach einer Rillettes gefragt habe, weil ich kein Foie Gras mag, welches sie da hatten; entgegnete sie mir, dass sie kein Rillettes mag. Soweit so gut, ich hatte die Spannung schon während des Eintretens gespürt. Kunde ist hier jedenfalls nicht König. Der Brüller: Sie gab mir anstatt 17.50€, 7.50€ Rückgeld. Ich realisierte jenes kurz nachdem ich den Laden verließ und sagte ihr, ich hätte mit 20€ bezahlt. Sie gab mir schnell den Rest und hatte ihre Ausrede, sie sei sehr müde, auch parat. Sehr unangenehm! Fürchterliche Frau, obwohl ich sehr nett zu ihr war.

Wir waren nun das 2. mal in diesem Restaurant zum mittag. Wirklich ein herrlich vielfältiges und köstliches Mittagsangbot. Leider ist der Service uns nun schon zum 2. Mal schlecht aufgefallen. Gelangweilt und unfreundlich. Man fühlt sich nicht willkommen. Sehr schade... da das Angebot wirklich toll ist.

Great Cakes, had a wonderful experience eating them.

As mentioned in the title of my review,this is the fifth visit I have payed to this establishment. I am always struck by the freshness of the foods and the relaxed,casual atmosphere of this restaurant. I had a delicious spinach/feta cheese/mushroom quiche with a small accompanying salad. I also enjoyed a cup of Assam tea with an Erdbeer (strawberry) torte for dessert. All the food is made on site and the dessert was made with real ingredients, not some bogus "creme" . I also think that the value and quality are outstanding given the price point. I will certainly eat there again during my week-long stay in Berlin.

When staying at the Hotel Otto in Berlin, I always make a point of visiting Philomenis Restaurant. This time, I had a very tasty Vegetable Quiche with a small green salad. I enjoy the food and the atmosphere of this establishment and I must say that the prices are quite reasonable considering the quality of the dishes served there.I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who happens to be in the Charlottenberg area of Berlin.

Super lecker, super empfehlenswert. Tolle griechische Leckereien

Visited here as it was opposite our hotel we were staying in and was hungry when we 1st checked in. So glad we stumbled into this cafe. Lovely homemade food which was translated for us into English by the lovely lady working there. We had mousakka and a veggie lasagne which were both so tasty, washed down with a carrot and ginger juice. The desserts looked amazing but we opted for a couple of handmade chocolate truffles, delicious. Not cheap but well worth the money.

Очень приятное место,хотя внешне незаметное и не очень популярное.Приятная хозяйка ,много средиземноморских закусок и прекрасная пахлава.

Philomenis is a cute delicatessen specialised in Mediterranean food that I had the pleasure to visit in Berlin. The shop was conveniently located across the street from the hotel I stayed in, so it was a great place to stop for some delicious cappuccino and cakes on a cold Berlin afternoon. The place is very cosy and the owner, Stephanie, speaks fluent English which means Philomenis is definitely tourist-friendly! Stephanie is also a very sweet and kind person, who was extremely helpful when I forgot my backpack in there. So, if you are strolling around Charlottenburg or Knesebeckstraße do yourself a favor and enter this beautiful little shop, you definitely won't regret it!

Service: freundlich Wartezeit auf Essen: kurz Preis-Leistung: 0 Qualität - Essen: ++ Menge - Essen: 0 Ambiente: + Sonstiges: Selbstbedienung; loser Tee von guter Qualität; etwas unpersönlich finde ich trotz des netten Personals die Bekanntmachung des fertigen Essens - eine Klingel (eine Solche wie man sie auch aus Hotels kennt) ertönt. Ich weiß nicht, ob das nur so für Gäste gehandhabt wird, die auf der Terrasse speisen ist allgemein. Es erfüllt jedenfalls seinen Zweck, jedoch etwas ungewöhnlich.; Neben einem Café ist dies auch gleichzeitig ein Ladengeschäft für Feinkost; Durch die Qualität wären erhöhte Preise zwar angemessen, jedoch ist das hier etwas zu viel; Man sollte noch dazu sagen, dass der Name des "Cafés" nirgends steht (zumindest habe ich nichts finden können). Весь ассортимент приготовлен для вас заранее, разогревается в микроволновке, но - все правда очень вкусно! Особенно киш с тыквой и козьим сыром. Внимание - тарелки закусок ассорти не хватит, чтобы наесться ;)
