Pfuhler Kebaphaus in Neu-Ulm

Prices are constantly rising, while quality is declining... The dürüm (€10!) was abysmal: - There was no beef because they obviously changed the spit too late. So it was just turkey. - The flatbread was still partially raw and not cooked through. They were clearly trying to rush through the customers. - Very little meat, as they obviously couldn't be bothered to cut it again. - An excessive amount of red cabbage; hardly any other vegetables. The staff was also unusually unfriendly. We regularly got takeout here and occasionally ate in. However, for about a year now, the quality has noticeably declined. At the same time, the prices are rising. We will therefore be going to a different restaurant.

The taste was only mediocre. We had doner kebabs, a durum kebab, and a doner box, all of which were priced at a premium but didn't leave a lasting impression. The staff were very friendly, though!

Worst kebab plate ever. I completely disagree with the positive reviews. I would have preferred to give it zero stars. Nobody has cleaned the place in a long time. The meat was inedible; even the sauce wouldn't go down. A kebab with this level of quality wouldn't last long in our area.

Absolutely delicious food, especially the kebab is recommended, the best in all of Neu-Ulm and Ulm :-)

An absolute disappointment! For the high price, there was extremely little meat in the kebab – it's simply a rip-off. While it tasted okay, charging so much for so little is outrageous. Never again!

My go-to döner place for years. Always perfect! Döner, pizza, and salad. Unfortunately, the prices have increased dramatically since my first review. Now a döner costs a whopping €8.50. Consequently, I'll be significantly reducing the number of visits. :-( From 3 to 5 times a week to a maximum of 2 to 3 times. At some point, I've reached my limit with price increases. My pension isn't rising as sharply as prices everywhere else. So I have to cut back. Ultimately, they'll earn less from me than they did with the old prices. Netto, Aldi, and the like are happy. I'll just buy more (ready-made) food there.

Update May 2025: After my most recent visit, I feel compelled to provide an update after much consideration. The food is still top-notch and, in my opinion, one of the best kebabs. The service is still good, but recently I've been treated less than friendly at times. What brings me to an update, however, is the price increase to €8.50 for a standard kebab. €8.50... Seriously? In Pfuhl? At Munich Central Station, where the shop costs €15,000 in rent, that might be necessary, but in Pfuhl? And 4-5 years ago, €5 was still sufficient? I really have to say, for me, we've reached a limit here. We, and that's a very large group of people (family and friends), will no longer shop there, even though we always enjoyed the food there. It's not that you can't afford it, but it's simply out of proportion, and you don't want to "afford" it anymore. It's a shame, but it really seems to me that they're just trying to push the boundaries. They're always adding more and more and more... Real inflation of 60%, you can't tell me that, not even in Germany. This will probably be my last update on Kebaphaus-Pfuhl, because it was the last time I was there. Originally, as of 2024: Food: Freshly baked bread, delicious sauces, two meats to choose from, a good ratio of meat to salad, etc. Service: Taciturn but very friendly, special requests are always accommodated. Atmosphere: Actually pleasant, but there's an unpleasant cold draft because the door is always open. Conclusion: Very good food, good service, only the prices have been rising significantly faster than inflation in recent months.

I was completely satisfied with my visit! I had a positive impression right from the start: everything was clean, tidy, and inviting. The atmosphere was pleasant, and I immediately felt at ease. I'd especially like to commend the friendly and helpful staff – they were attentive yet unobtrusive. The entire process was well-organized and professional. You can tell that they work with great attention to detail. I can wholeheartedly recommend this place and am already looking forward to my next visit!

I had a delicious doner kebab with beef. A nice change from turkey. It was definitely filling. I was only in the area by chance, but I can definitely recommend it.

I'm really not overly picky, but this doner kebab was an absolute disaster. The meat consisted of thick, fatty chunks that were clearly not cut or grilled properly—barely edible. On top of that, there was a sad pile of vegetables that immediately tasted off. The tomatoes were mushy, the lettuce wilted; everything just looked old and unappetizing. What also struck me as negative was the unhygienic nature of the entire preparation process, both in terms of the shop's appearance and the way the food was being prepared. I didn't even finish the doner because I completely lost my appetite. Definitely not recommended; even on bad days, there are much better options.

I would give zero stars if it were possible. I absolutely hated the doner kebab. The pieces of meat were far too thick. The vegetables didn't look fresh and tasted just as bad. The tomato pieces were cut much too thick. The bread wasn't freshly baked, just toasted!

Best kebab in town, homemade bread and fresh salad. Pizza and pide are also great because the dough is simply good. Often very busy, so there is a bit of a wait, but that is more of a sign of quality

Simply the best kebab shop. The food always tastes great. The portions always fill you up. The staff is always super nice and also very child-friendly.

We want to try it out and were there in the evening. We were warmly welcomed. The atmosphere is modern and ok. Choice of food is good. It took a long time to napkin the food even though we only had 1 grill plate, part of which ended up on my pants and then on the floor when the waitress served it - no replacement and just a casual apology. Unfortunately, the food wasn't so great that I would say I definitely have to have it again - the composition on the plate was very unbalanced, both in terms of taste and in terms of selection. Very unfortunate... Otherwise it was well attended and quite loud. The light that constantly automatically switches on and off in the direction of the toilet, which also illuminates the room in the restaurant where we were sitting, was very disturbing.

Not exactly friendly, the kebab was okay, but unfortunately the meat wasn't exactly good, it would have needed more, the bun was also somehow mushy. The selection is good but there are clearly better ones in the area.

My friend and I got two kebabs here. The meat had the consistency of foam and felt like it consisted of more oil than meat. I was still sick that evening and my friend was sick the next day. Judging by the reviews, people in (New) Ulm must have really low standards when it comes to kebab.

In the evening there is usually only one skewer, chicken meat is usually no longer available. Above all, the operators have raised prices significantly in 2024 alone. Prices must urgently remain realistic. €7.50 for the basic kebab version 9€ for a Yufka Come on, there are better offers at other kebab shops or for €1 more you can get two burgers, fries and drinks at the Golden M restaurant

I ordered several Durum for take out, everything is great, rich, lots of meat and side dishes, there are two options: yogurt and cocktail sauce. All in all, good quality food, only slightly more expensive, 9 euros, one durum. But still all 5

I am a regular guest here at the PfuhlerKebaphaus. I can only report the best. Best quality food and prepared with the freshest ingredients. Doner kebabs are prepared with freshly baked bread. The pizzas are the best I've ever eaten in the entire AlbDonau district. The salads are highly recommended and of course they are always freshly prepared. We particularly recommend the farmer's salad and the chef's salad with freshly baked bread.

It's hard to find a *really* good kebab. This one is definitely one of them. The fact that even the rolls are baked in-house shows how much emphasis is placed on quality. I like to drive there for 15 minutes.

Quality of the kebab is really good so far. 4* I also really like the preparation and the bread. However, the price for a simple kebab €7.50 is too much for my taste. Over 50% price increase since Corona. Payment with a VISA card is also not possible. Should be “standard” per se. All in all, recommended. If you don't mind the price. (This is generally popular in cities). Then this is a good address. Hence 3 and 5 stars :)

Very good kebab, with grilled vegetables if desired. Parking can be a bit difficult. Even though there was a lot going on, the kebab was delivered in a flash.

Sehr guter großer Fleisch- und Gemüse gefüllter Kebap, mit aromatischer Soße und nicht nur eine verdünnte Brühe. Das Gemüse schmeckt und sieht frisch aus. Sehr gepflegter Laden mit nettem Personal. Einziges was besser sein könnte, sind die Parkplätze!!

Für 5 Euro (Mittlerweile 7 Euro, Stand Mai 2023) ist der Kebap leider oft nicht der Qualität entsprechend die man erwartet. Teilweise liegt das Fleisch schon länger im Fett unter dem Döner Spieß und wird einem dann in den Kebap gepackt. Die Soße ist mehr Mayo als Joghurt und schmeckt einfach nicht. Man bekommt also ein Fladenbrot mit sehr fettigem Inhalt und das viel zu teuer... Das Personal ist meistens freundlich, nur ist es oft befremdlich dass das Kebaphaus gegen Abend zur Kneipe wird, passt aber auch zu den Spielautomaten... Alles in allem kann ich den Laden nicht empfehlen.

Das Essen ist sehr lecker, da der Betreiber den Teig selber macht. Das Gemüse ist immer frisch und das Fleisch meist saftig. Der Preis ist angemessen.

Super nettes Personal, sehr leckerer Döner, super sauberer Laden und sehr gepflegt. Kann man wirklich empfehlen! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Muss leider eine nicht so gute Bewertung abgeben. Habe mich gefreut dahin zu gehen und hatte großen Hunger. Leider wurde ich enttäuscht.

Meistens sehr gut, manchmal mittlere Qualität. Anrufen und abholen klappen meistens auch mit komplexeren Bestellungen.

Ein wirklich guter Kalbsdöner. Das Brot war gut geröstet, die beiden Soßen waren, ebenso wie die großzügige Fleischportion, sehr schmackhaft und der Salat war frisch. Es war sehr lecker, ich persönlich finde 7 € für einen Döner aber auch sehr teuer. Was mich noch mehr irritiert hat, war, dass die türkische Pizza mit Salatfüllung genauso viel kostet wie der Döner. Das finde ich schon sehr happig.

Für uns geschmacklich einer der besten Döner. Mein Favorit ist inzwischen Lahmacun.

War eine spontane Idee hier vorbei zukommen und es hat sich sehr gelohnt! Das Brot und der Fladen wurden frisch herausgebacken und im Gesamten war das Essen sehr lecker. Gerne wieder.

7€ mittlerweile für diesen Döner, der eine Konsistenz wie Gummi hat.. Wir scheinen kein Glück bei dem Laden zu haben, denn das war schon mehrmals so. Für einen Euro weniger bekommt man in Neu-Ulm einen Yaprak Döner aus Kalb, ohne Hackfleisch.

Also für meinen Geschmack der Beste Dürüm, das Ding haut dich um. Der Preis ist für die Portion angemessen. War günstiger aber wegen Inflation leider teurer. Ich komme oft hier her und ich muss wirklich sagen ich kann mich nie beschweren. Ich wünsche dem Team alles gute und nur das beste. Alle die ihn nicht gut finden fresst, weiter euren billig Döner mit Fleisch vom Vortag🤝🏽
