We visited this lovely restaurant on Monday at 6:00 PM. It was very busy, which speaks volumes about the pizzeria. It was only thanks to the super-friendly waitress Aylina that we were able to get a seat. The food was simply fantastic. We'll definitely be back. They even had gluten-free pizza.

My expectations when I ordered the lasagna were exceeded by far. Very flavorful, honest, and delicious. A fresh bay leaf was found in it—needless to say? ;) Everything else was great, too; we'd love to come back!

Like every other visit before, this time was simply fantastic. Very warm hosts who make you feel welcome, a great atmosphere, and the food is excellent and reasonably priced, no matter which dish you choose from the menu. Our absolute favorite restaurant and highly recommended.

We had to wait a very long time for the food, one of the dishes wasn't right and it took forever before we could pay.

Unfortunately, we made a mistake. We were traveling as a small group and only ended up at this pizzeria because our favorite was closed. From the start, the service wasn't particularly attentive, constantly walking past us without acknowledging us. The appetizer we ordered sounded promising: dates wrapped in bacon and stuffed with cream cheese. What arrived was a bowl of coarsely chopped dry lamb's lettuce, a slice of tomato, and, believe it or not, a single sliced ​​date. I'm still looking for the cream cheese. We were all very hungry, there were children with us, and we had mostly ordered pizza, which arrived after an hour and 25 minutes, when we'd almost given up hope. The pizza tasted mediocre, a bit bland, and the dough felt undercooked. Any discount pizza that adds a bit of oil is, in my opinion, of the same standard. We had no idea what was Italian about this pizzeria. As mentioned, the cellars were empty, and we would have liked to order some more drinks, but that wasn't possible. That was a real shame, and we didn't get a good impression there and felt like we were disturbing someone or something. The place itself is quite cozy and well located in the pedestrian zone. What was also inconvenient was that overly large SUVs with V8 engines often stopped in front of the restaurant, joked with the staff, and started their loud engines in front of the tables. We were desperate to pay and leave. The plates weren't cleared, and after waving three times, our payment was accepted, and the grumpy manager came to collect the money and wasn't at all interested in our concerns. We certainly won't be seen there again, and leaving money there was painful.

We spontaneously stopped by for lunch today. The food was excellent. We had sea bream in lemon sauce and spaghetti with seafood, and chocolate soufflé for dessert. We also had limoncello spritz and water, and of course, an espresso after the meal. The food was freshly prepared and served piping hot. The waiters were very attentive and courteous. They asked us frequently if everything was OK and if we wanted anything else. It was just the right amount, so it was perfect. We felt very comfortable. We will definitely be back soon. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

“An evening at the Batzenärrle, just like in the book!” We, the people of Munich, were at the Batzenärrle today – and rarely has an evening brought so much joy. The cuisine: authentic, fresh, and full of heart. The wine recommendation (a Scheurebe that won't be forgotten in a hurry) was perfect, and for dessert, there was no cake, but a grappa that immediately embraces the soul. Lupo is not just a proprietor, but a passionate host – you feel welcome, cared for, and ultimately almost like you're sitting at the table with friends. If you don't go here, you're missing out on a piece of Italian joie de vivre in the heart of Karlstadt. Thanks Lupo – we'll be back! 🍷🇮🇹

My sister and I were among the first in the restaurant today at 5:10 p.m. There were about six other guests there. The starter was timed just right. You can't go wrong with bruschetta. But then we didn't get our main course. At 6:30 p.m., I complained. We couldn't wait any longer and wanted to cancel our order and leave. Because of this, the owner, Lupo, cursed us terribly and said we could leave if we didn't like something. We still had to pay for the food. He has 150 other guests here; I shouldn't pretend that they're only cooking for me. He tried to intimidate me by bending down threateningly. I've never experienced anything so rude to this day. He can't stand criticism and gets angry. He treats the guests like dirt. Today was our first and last time there. We paid and then took our food with us. Here, the concerns of a single guest no longer count. I'd rather pay 50 euros more per person and be treated courteously, politely, and respectfully, without being threatened or insulted when I express criticism.

Good evening, we ate here today. The vegetable soup was very good. My husband's pizza with capers and anchovies was very salty. My tagliatelle with spinach, Serrano ham, and balsamic vinegar was salty, sour, and unappealing. I complained. Nobody cared. But the final straw is the still water. Tap water bottled in Röhnspruddel bottles. Aside from the customer fraud... the profit, especially in summer. That kind of thing annoys me 😡

Great pizza and other great dishes, too. If there's one downside, it's that the air in the cellar could be better at some point. But it's still always worth a stop.

It's a restaurant, but not Italian. Especially not the pizza. She's really not good. I'll make a better one myself. The cannelloni with ricotta was okay. Unfortunately, carbonara is made with cream and ham is unfortunately not original either.

A beautiful restaurant in an atmospheric, two-part vaulted cellar under one of the many half-timbered houses. The food is always excellent and the staff is extremely friendly and attentive. We celebrated our daughter's communion there. It's her absolute favorite restaurant! The preparation, including our decoration wishes, was completely uncomplicated. All guests were enthusiastic about the food, and despite many orders, the team always kept an overview. Particularly pleasant: the children's meals were served directly in advance without asking, which was a huge hit with the many little guests and relaxed the parents. An all-round successful day in a wonderful atmosphere – we’ll always be happy to come back!

Ordered for 12 people on Boxing Day, but there were two more of us... no problem... sorted out very quickly 👍 Despite the full house, the food arrived very quickly. And it was excellent quality, and most importantly, at the same time. When it came to ordering drinks, we barely said it... and it was delivered 🍻 The staff was extremely friendly. Like the unusual name, so does the whole thing. Stairs lit with candles lead deep into the vaulted cellar. Pleasant ambience, two-four-six-seater tables equipped with burning candles await the guest. Courteous service and a well-designed menu and daily menu. "Pond bags filled with pear pieces in Philadelphia sauce" surprised the guest. It's a pleasure to come back.

A highlight for families! As always, we loved this restaurant - the food was excellent and the atmosphere was incredibly cozy. Particularly noteworthy is the fantastic children's service. The staff were so attentive and warm that our children felt really comfortable and welcome. They joked with our little ones, made sure they got their food first, and you could really tell that families are welcome here. A special extra was the fresh garlic that was brought straight to the table and the staff always made sure we were well looked after. One of my children had a birthday that day and they immediately responded by treating him to a tiramisu with a birthday candle. All the attention and the friendly way they treated the children made our visit simply unforgettable. Thank you for this great experience! We'll definitely be back!

I have ordered from you several times and always requested pasta without cheese because of my vegan diet. Unfortunately, this was never taken into account. Otherwise, the food is delicious and the service is friendly, but the cheese thing is really annoying - it can't be that hard to just leave it out. Really disappointing!

Good morning. Went to the restaurant for pizza. Fresh mushrooms, fresh peppers, salami very hearty and tasty and the cooked ham was also tasty. Only the pizza base was a bit strange. Very very thin and the border was very small and looked strange. The other 5 pizzas at the table also looked the same. Coincidence or Tacco base from the convenience range??? Guys, I was with you three months ago and the pizza base was still handmade! So what's the point? Only deducted 1 star because everything else was really satisfactory. But THAT pizza base doesn't work at all.

Ich war mehrfach Gast seit 1998. Die Qualität des Essens wurde in den letzten Jahren immer mehr heruntergespart. Nach 20:30 darf man keinen Hunger mehr haben. (peinlich vor internationalen Gästen) Der große Bärtige Patron war nicht gerade sehr freundlich. Ich hatte mich vor meinen Geschäftspartnern schämen müssen. Die anderen zwei Kellner waren sehr nett. Let's start with the positive. The pizza was very, very tasty, absolutely recommended. The ambience is great, I thought it was really great. Unfortunately it was very warm despite the vaulted cellar. Staff is very nice and friendly. We had reserved a table for 4, but it hadn't been cleaned yet. The place mats were dirty and it wasn't set for four. The fourth cutlery came when requested, after the food had already been served. Otherwise it is highly recommended there.

My favorite restaurant. I take my children there quite often. I found it by mistake, after I went through the door I fell in love. Romantic Italian music in the background. The chef knows his way around the kitchen quite well. Place is clean, romantic, food is great, and the waiter and waitress becomes your friend in a second. They also have great wines.

Sehr schönes freundliches Ambiente, gilt auch für den Service, exzellentes Essen von einer vielfältigen Speisekarte, kann ich nur empfehlen.

Wir waren das erste Mal hier, das Essen hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir hatten Pizza und Bruschetta als Nachspeise Pana Cotta. Die Bedienung war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wenn der Teig der Pizzen etwas luftiger wäre, dann hätte ich 5 Sterne gegeben. Er ist dünn, aber bei einer Pizza MUSS für mich der Rand dick und luftig sein. Ist aber wie bei allen Geschmackssache. Ich kann das Restaurant uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Absolut Top! Mit Abstand das beste Lokal und der freundlichste Service! Waren schon oft dort, das Essen kam immer sehr schnell, es war jedesmal extrem lecker und man fühlt sich wohl. Die negativen Kommentare bringen einen nur zum Kopfschütteln. Schinken zu dick, zu wenig Knoblauch, Straße mit Autos ... Es ist ein Lokal in der Innenstadt. Wer nicht an der Straße sitzen will soll rein gehen, so einfach ist das. Ob es gerechtfertigt ist, Sterne abzuziehen weil Zutaten mehr sein könnten oder bisschen Olivenöl fehlt, ist fraglich. Die Auswahl ist völlig in Ordnung und im Gegensatz zu anderen lokalen trotz der großen Auswahl alles sehr gut und auf hohem Niveau zubereitet. Kinder werden zudem sehr freundlich behandelt, selbst unser Zwerg freut sich jedesmal wenn wir dort sind. Man geht sogar spielerisch auf die Kinder ein, was man sonst nicht erwarten kann. Der Service ist einfach Top! Man merkt, dass sich die Mitarbeiter wohl fühlen, und das ist mir sehr viel wert. Auch der Gewölbekeller hat eine einzigartige Atmosphäre, Indirekte Beleuchtung, gemütlich. Man kann froh sein, daß es heutzutage noch Lokalitäten gibt, die sich um die Gäste kümmern und immer ein Lächeln im Gesicht haben. Kann es jedem wärmstens empfehlen. Nicht auf die negativen Kommentare hören und selbst ausprobieren. Man wird nicht enttäuscht!!!!!!! PS: Beste Aglio e olio 👌🏻😉

Leider mussten wir über eine Stunde auf unsere Pizza warten, die war allerdings mega lecker. Die Bedienung war sehr nett. Das Ambiente hat uns gut gefallen und sicher kommen wir wieder.

Sehr guter Italiener mit prima SErvice. Die Speisekarte enthält mal etwas andere Gerichte als die üblichen "Verdächtigen". Trüffel etc.. Sowohl die Pazza , asl auch die probierten Nudelgerichte waren sehr lecker.

Alles in allem schmeckt alles sehr lecker und der Service war auch immer top. Das Lokal (innen) ist wunderschön. Leider immer noch keine veganen Speisen. Man muss immer extra Käse abbestellen. Und die Auswahl begrenzt sich stark als vegan lebende Person. Da müsste man vielleicht mal die Speisekarte an 2023 anpassen.

Wir haben dort sehr gut gegessen, empfehlenswert ist es vorher zu reservieren.

Super leckerer Italiener, wie man sich das so wünscht, in sehr schönem Kellergewölbe.

Habe dort mit der Familie gegessen , vier verschiedene Pizzen alle sehr zufrieden. Da wir draußen gegessen haben kann ich das Ambiente nicht bewerten. Aber die Bedienung und das Essen waren Top. Wenn wir noch einmal nach Karlstadt kommen ist dies eins meiner Ziele.

Leider kann ich nicht viel positives sagen. Als wir dort essen waren, war zwar auch sehr viel los, aber das Essen hat verhältnismäßig lange gedauert. Außerdem wurden Essen und Getränke vergessen bzw. die falschen Beilagen, oder was nicht Bestelltes gebracht. Geschmacklich konnte alles nicht so überzeugen, die Nudelgerichte waren dem Preis zu urteilen viel zu klein und das Grillgemüse schmeckte leider nach gar nichts. Die Bedienungen waren dennoch nett. Schade, aber ich denke wir kommen nicht wieder...

Sehr gutes Essen und noch besserer Service. Wir waren hier schon öfter zum Essen - alle Bedienungen sind sehr herzlich, freundlich und man merkt das sie lieben was sie tun.

Petra ist ja sehr nett und die Grinsekatze am Getränkeschalter gut drauf - aber es geht ja hier um's Essen und Ambiente. Ambiente sehr gut, sehr sauber, alles sehr gut. Kommen wir zum Essen und den Getränken. Mousierender Silvaner vom Juliusspital ging gar nicht - war aber gut eingeschenkt ! Zum Essen. Gemischte Vorspeisenplatte - das war nix, gar nix. Weder das Vitello Tonnato noch die anderen Dinge waren wirklich schmackhaft. Die Pizzen waren "ok" aber der Lachs in Limonensauce mit Reis war zu trocken und die Sauce einfach nicht gut....Von daher, mehr ist's leider nicht - aber das Ambiente war nett und das Pesonal auch :-)

Im wunderschönen Gewölbekeller lässt es sich gemütlich Sitzen und einen Wein trinken. Die Außenbestuhlung ist unspektakulär, aber in Ordnung. Ein Besuch in dieser Lokalität lohnt sich vom Ambiente auf jeden Fall, für Essen und Service jedoch nicht. Die Pizzen sind nichts besonderes und Änderungswünsche beim Belag werden oft vergessen. In jedem Schwimmbad erhält man vergleichbare Pizzen am Imbiss. Nudelgerichte schmecken in jeder Werkskantine vergleichbar. Vor allem der Kellner wirkt lustlos und ein bisschen unkonzentriert. Im Außenbereich dauert es oft länger und die Bestellung kommt verzögert, auch bei kleinen Gruppen.

Vorgeschichte: Für einen Zwischenaufenthalt hatten wir uns im Internet ein Restaurant in Karlstadt ausgesucht. Leider saßen in diesem Restaurant schon u.a. ein "Oberlehrer" und ein "Blockwart". Kaum hatten wir "mit dem großen Zeh" die Zone draußen zwischen den Tischen betreten und leider nicht erkannt, dass es wohl einen großen Unterschied zwischen der direkt neben den Tischen befindlichen belebten Fußgängerzone mit ihren Menschen ohne Mundschutz und dem Fußweg zwischen den Tischen gibt, wurden wir auch schon mit "Setzen se mal bitte die Maske auf" in schönstem Kasernenhofton angeranzt und mit "komisches Volk" beschimpft. Die Kellnerin schritt nicht ein, sondern forderte - genauso nett - Name, Anschrift ! Wir haben dieses ungastliche Lokal daraufhin zügig verlassen. Welch ein Unterschied dazu das "Batzenärrle": nett, freundlich und flott. Auf der Karte lachten mich gleich die Nudeln mit frischen Trüffeln an. Nach kurzer Wartezeit erhielten wir unsere Getränke und konnten bestellen. Auch auf das Essen brauchten wir nicht lange zu warten. Zwischendurch noch ein nettes Schwätzchen mit dem Kellner. Unsere Essen, natürlich insbesondere die Nudeln mit den frischen Trüffeln, waren ausgezeichnet. Nudeln al dente und Trüffeln frisch gehobelt. Und alles zu einem günstigen Preis. So muss Karlstadt. Dann kommen die Touris auch wieder.

Leckeres, gehoben italienisches Essen in urgemütlichen Kellergewölbe. Sehr nette zuvorkommende und schnelle Bedienung. War jetzt das zweite mal dort.... aber definitiv nicht das letzte Mal. Tolles Essen zu vernünftigen Preisen 😊

Bei Petra bekommt man als einziges Restaurant in Karlstadt gehobene ital Küche - nicht diese null-acht-fünfzehn Sahnesoßen Dinge, die nur Stümper mögen! Alles ist hier gut abgeschmeckt und lecker!
