Nettes, lustiges Personal, man fühlt sich wohl. Rustikales Essen, außergewöhnliche Präsentation durch Grill am Tisch.

Sehr, sehr freundliche Gastgeber! Hund war auch willkommen und wurde nett begrüßt sowie ungefragt Wasser gereicht! Essen war sehr schmackhaft! Eine ganz klare Empfehlung der urigen Gaststube!

Tolle Aussicht - Super Wirtsleute

Gutbürgerliche Küche, die Portionen sind groß und durchweg sehr lecker. Sitzt man auf der Terrasse hat man eine super Aussicht über das Tal. Salat gab es bei uns am Büffet. Die Preise, obwohl der Campingplatz in der nähe ist, dennoch angemessen und nicht überteuert. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, der Dialekt der Region entsprechend :-) . Das Gasthaus hat E-Bike Ladestationen und es lohnt sich ein Besuch dort auch wenn man gerade nicht auf dem Campingplatz steht. Sehr gerne kommen wir wieder.

Wir waren zu dritt abends zum Essen dort. Es ist gemütlich eingerichtet und die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Das Essen ist wirklich sehr lecker und man merkt wirklich, dass man sich dort noch große Mühe gibt. Ein Salatbuffet war auch vorhanden. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und kommen ganz sicher wieder, wenn wir wieder auf dem Campingplatz sind.

Wir kehren gerne ein, wenn wir auf dem super angelegten Campingplatz zu Gast sind. Hier bekommt man perfekte, wirklich perfekte Hausmannskost. Die Preise passen und entsprechend gefüllt ist das Restaurant. Dazu kommen noch der Minigolfplatz und die Sommerrodelbahn. Einfach super. 10 von 10 Punkten.

Wir waren zu einem verlängerten Wochenende auf dem benachbarten Campingplatz untergebracht und wollten unser Abschiedsessen unbedingt in der Petersklause einnehmen. Das war eine sehr gute Idee den der Wildbraten und das Kümmelfleisch schmeckten ausgezeichnet. Dazu eine gelungene Bierauswahl, fertig war der perfekte Abschluss des Urlaubes. Guter Service und nette Gespräche mit der Chefin rundeten das Essen noch ab. Vielen Dank für alles.

Top-Service, hervorragendes Essen und ein traumhafter Blick ins Tal! Wir stehen seit drei Tagen auf dem Campingplatz und essen ebenso lange jeden Tag hier – und wir sind jedes Mal aufs Neue begeistert. Die Gerichte sind ein absolutes Highlight und geschmacklich einfach eine glatte 1+. Auch der Service lässt keine Wünsche offen: Die beiden Damen sind äußerst aufmerksam, herzlich und sorgen dafür, dass man sich rundum wohlfühlt. Wir haben unsere Zeit hier sehr genossen und freuen uns jetzt schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch!

Hier stimmt einfach alles, Qualität der Speisen, Preise und Service sind nicht zu übertreffen. Wir haben verschiedene Speisen gegessen und können sagen, alle waren spitze. Die Mitarbeiter waren ausgesprochen freundlich und umsichtig. Wir können dieses Restaurant uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und kommen bestimmt wieder.

Wir waren gestern mit 8 Personen zum Essen und es war wieder ausgezeichnet 😋 Jedes Gericht hervorragend im Geschmack und sehr ausreichend. Die Steaks z.B. genau auf dem Punkt und super zart. Großes Lob an die Küche. Man fühlt sich rundum wohl. Vom Chef bis zur Bedienung sind alle äußerst freundlich und sehr bemüht. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Hallo, Ich habe bis heute überlegt ob ich diese Bewertung schreiben soll oder nicht. Es geht um den 31.12.2025 wo wir das Silvester Menue zu einem Preis von 68,00 Euro gebucht haben. Wir haben uns mit Freunden verabredet welche dieses bereits letztes Jahr gebucht haben und zu diesem Zeitpunkt auch sehr positiv darüber berichteten, sonst wären sie ja keine Wiederholungstäter. Nachdem wir Platz genommen haben gab es erstmal ein Begrüssungsgetränk welcher auch ok war. Danach gab es eine Vorspeise mit Brot und warmen Lachs welches geschmacklich nicht der Bringer war. Die darauffolgende Suppe war geschmacklich gut. Als Hauptgericht gab es verschiedene Essen die wir bereits im Vorfeld ausgesucht haben. Bei uns am Tisch haben wir von jeder Sorte was dabei gehabt aber egal welches Gericht serviert wurde es war wie ein wirklich billiges, schlechtes Kantinenessen. So schlecht haben wir noch nie gegessen. Ich hatte Rumpsteak welches so zäh war, das es nur mit Mühe zu schneiden geschweige den zu kauen war. Ich sagte der Bedienung Bescheid das dieses so nicht genießbar ist und ich ein Neues erwarte. Sie nahm das Steak wieder mit und dann kam der Küchenchef welcher aber mit der Kritik nicht umgehen konnte. Sicher kann mal was schief gehen aber die Vorgehensweise des Küchenchefs war unterirdisch, da ich nicht die einzigste war die das Essen zurückgegeben haben. Dann wurde es sehr hektisch und das Essen wurde nach dem Zufallsprinzip an den Tischen verteilt, z.B. an unserem Tisch mit 12 Personen bekam dann nur 1 Person was zu essen die anderen erstmal nicht. Die Portionen wurden immer kleiner und nachher war gar nichts mehr da. Der Chef legte dann die normalen Speisekarten auf den Tisch wo die jenigegen sich was aussuchen durften die noch kein Essen hatten oder die noch nicht satt waren. Wie der Nachtisch war kann ich nicht sagen da wir das Lokal zu diesem Zeitpunkt bereits verlassen haben. Das Fazit für mich.........das werden wir nicht wiederholen

Sehr schnell wir hatten unsere Bestellung nach 15 Minuten alle zusammen 4 Personen am Tisch und konnten zusammen essen

Even though there were two events, we managed to get a table spontaneously. The salad bar was constantly refilled and looked great. The cordial on bleu was huge, and the fries were delicious. A visit here is definitely worth it!

Great restaurant, great food, super staff

For several years now, we've been spending a few days in the last week of September on the Großbüchlberg and regularly eat at the Petersklause. We've always been warmly welcomed; the service is fast, super friendly, and attentive, and the food is delicious. Today, the chef even shared a few jokes. It was another lovely, entertaining evening! We'd be happy to come back anytime!

We've been coming to the campsite around the same time of year for years, and we also visit the Petersklause. We've always been satisfied; the staff are great and friendly.

Very nice restaurant. Friendly owner and pleasant staff. The table grill is especially recommended. Update for 2025: We've been at the campsite this time of year for 10 years in a row, usually in a nice group. And at least one visit to the Petersklause is always included. We've never been disappointed. The food is super delicious and of excellent quality; the chef always accommodates our (special) requests (ham hock, shoulder of pork) if he lets us know in advance. The à la carte selection is also simply fantastic. We always love coming back and can highly recommend the Petersklause.

A surprisingly rustic, authentic, and home-style restaurant with very warm and attentive staff. The food is homemade, typical of the Upper Palatinate region, and the beer is regional. The prices are unbeatably low, and the quality is outstanding. Highly recommended! A great stopover for campers and other travelers is the nearby, well-maintained campsite with a summer toboggan run, mini golf, and a pool with a sauna. Absolutely beautiful!

We had delicious carp with fried potatoes and a fresh salad from the salad bar. Then we had a delicious warm chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream, mmmmm. 🥗 I highly recommend it 🚐👍

A very nice day-trip restaurant that is family- and guest-friendly! The food is very plentiful and the portions are generous, with a large salad buffet. The staff and the kitchen make every effort to fulfill every guest's wish! During peak times, it would be advisable to make a reservation in advance. There are many leisure activities around the Petersklause restaurant. Leisure activities include a summer toboggan run, mini golf, children's playgrounds, and more! Have fun trying them out for yourself!

Super delicious food, tennis-ball-sized dumplings 👍, and the waitresses were in a great mood, even though it was very busy. Reservations recommended on weekends.

In any case, the food was very good, the portions were huge, and the value for money was still good. We'll be back.

I have ulcerative colitis and lactose intolerance, and when I asked if something could be made without cream, the nice waitress completely shocked me with her reply: "Of course, just pick what you like, and we'll prepare it for you. It's no problem at all, we have enough pots." Then the kitchen staff asked me again how the potatoes should be prepared... 🥹😍 So, I was shocked in a good way, and so grateful that places and people like this exist. I'd like to thank you again, and it's a shame I can only give them 5 stars. Otherwise, everything was delicious, and the view was fantastic.

A host with a heart – a lifesaver in times of need! Our family had an eventful day on Monday, which took a wonderful turn thanks to the incredible kindness of the owner of this restaurant. We were on our way to the summer toboggan run and unfortunately arrived much too early – it didn't open until 1 p.m. To make matters worse, this wonderful restaurant was also closed. As if that weren't enough, we also had an unfortunate car breakdown and were more or less stuck in the parking lot in front of the toboggan run. As we were wondering what to do, the owner noticed our predicament. Without us even having to ask, he brought our children two portions of fries directly to the parking lot! This act of kindness was simply overwhelming and saved our day. Even though we didn't get the chance to enjoy the food in the restaurant itself this time, this act of generosity speaks volumes about the warm and attentive owner. We will definitely be back to fully experience his hospitality and certainly his food. It's rare to find such helpfulness! Thank you for everything!

We stayed at your hotel on a recommendation while on vacation. We received very friendly and good service from the owner. Despite a busy crowd, we were promptly served with drinks and delicious food. The view is also excellent. The value for money is absolutely reasonable. We started our return journey feeling well-rested. We will warmly recommend your hotel to our friends.

Tonight, we were five adults and two thirteen-year-old girls. We had roast beef with onions, caraway roast, roast venison, and cordon bleu. All the dishes were a revelation; there was NOTHING to complain about or fault. Friendly service and a chef whose love for his craft was reflected in our plates. Everything on our plates was freshly prepared, and there wasn't a long wait. The attractive salad buffet was NOT canned. In any case, the Petersklause is worth a visit ---- and another ----- and another ---and.....

There were seven of us, and everyone was more than satisfied. The food was delicious, the portions were large enough for a big appetite, the prices were reasonable, and the staff were very friendly. Everything was great, keep up the good work. See you next time 👍👍

We were here once 2 years ago and were very positively surprised again today. Even if the portions felt a bit smaller, the value for money was still great. We'd love to come back :)

Always my pleasure!!! Extremely satisfied for the 5th time. Caraway meat, cordon bleu, roasted dumpling and carp are highly recommended. The cold roast for small appetites is also very convincing. Great staff throughout! We are always happy to come back! Plus great beer from the Mitterteich brewery.

We are currently camping below the Petersklause and went up for dinner today. It was definitely worth it. The advice from the kitchen regarding allergens was excellent. The food was very tasty and the prices were fair. The service was excellent, the sanitary facilities were clean. A visit here is definitely worth it

Were there for the first time today although we drive past it often. Just wanted to look after the chickens, but then ate something straight away. We have to say, we are really impressed. The food was delicious, the view on the terrace was great and the staff was super friendly. The on-site playground is also great for children. We really come more often now. Are more than satisfied.

Just had a very good meal. Rump steak, schnitzel, turkey breast in pineapple curry. All a full 10. My husband always wants the rump steak to be something special. More gravy was also added upon request.

Everything was great and the staff were uncompromisingly friendly, even outside of the usual meal times. After our energy and patience-sapping round of mini golf over almost 3 hours, we were extremely hungry and thirsty. No problem in the Petersklause around 2.30 p.m.!!! We would like to give a big compliment and thank you to the whole team.

The rum steak was unrecognizable as such and the fries were oversalted. Caraway meat was edible, but nothing more. Apple strudel for dessert was delicious. View beautiful. The restaurant won't see us again because the prices are too high for the level.

You can also get something delicious to eat in the afternoon. Onion roast and turkey schnitzel were cooked to a high standard, really tasty and of top quality. And of course it tastes even better with this view :)
