Petersklause in Mitterteich

We were there for the first time today. Very good, plentiful food. Reasonable prices. We had a menu change, which was politely accommodated. We'd love to come back.

We've stopped there several times while passing through; the food is always friendly and good.

Delicious, home-style cooking, very friendly service. We were there for coffee and cake on the terrace in the afternoon and for dinner in the evening.

The service staff is very attentive and friendly. The chef cooks, and the food is fantastic! This man puts his heart and soul into his work! We felt very comfortable here for the fourth time and will definitely be back!

Super delicious food, tennis-ball-sized dumplings 👍, and the waitresses were in a great mood, even though it was very busy. Reservations recommended on weekends.

A very nice day-trip restaurant that is family- and guest-friendly! The food is very plentiful and the portions are generous, with a large salad buffet. The staff and the kitchen make every effort to fulfill every guest's wish! During peak times, it would be advisable to make a reservation in advance. There are many leisure activities around the Petersklause restaurant. Leisure activities include a summer toboggan run, mini golf, children's playgrounds, and more! Have fun trying them out for yourself!

In any case, the food was very good, the portions were huge, and the value for money was still good. We'll be back.

Despite the full house and few waiters, everything went perfectly, the food was delicious, the staff very friendly and the waiting time was completely ok...thank you very much for that

I have ulcerative colitis and lactose intolerance, and when I asked if something could be made without cream, the nice waitress completely shocked me with her reply: "Of course, just pick what you like, and we'll prepare it for you. It's no problem at all, we have enough pots." Then the kitchen staff asked me again how the potatoes should be prepared... 🥹😍 So, I was shocked in a good way, and so grateful that places and people like this exist. I'd like to thank you again, and it's a shame I can only give them 5 stars. Otherwise, everything was delicious, and the view was fantastic.

A host with a heart – a lifesaver in times of need! Our family had an eventful day on Monday, which took a wonderful turn thanks to the incredible kindness of the owner of this restaurant. We were on our way to the summer toboggan run and unfortunately arrived much too early – it didn't open until 1 p.m. To make matters worse, this wonderful restaurant was also closed. As if that weren't enough, we also had an unfortunate car breakdown and were more or less stuck in the parking lot in front of the toboggan run. As we were wondering what to do, the owner noticed our predicament. Without us even having to ask, he brought our children two portions of fries directly to the parking lot! This act of kindness was simply overwhelming and saved our day. Even though we didn't get the chance to enjoy the food in the restaurant itself this time, this act of generosity speaks volumes about the warm and attentive owner. We will definitely be back to fully experience his hospitality and certainly his food. It's rare to find such helpfulness! Thank you for everything!

We stayed at your hotel on a recommendation while on vacation. We received very friendly and good service from the owner. Despite a busy crowd, we were promptly served with drinks and delicious food. The view is also excellent. The value for money is absolutely reasonable. We started our return journey feeling well-rested. We will warmly recommend your hotel to our friends.

Again and again, we were given a very friendly welcome and enjoyed a very fine meal.

Tonight, we were five adults and two thirteen-year-old girls. We had roast beef with onions, caraway roast, roast venison, and cordon bleu. All the dishes were a revelation; there was NOTHING to complain about or fault. Friendly service and a chef whose love for his craft was reflected in our plates. Everything on our plates was freshly prepared, and there wasn't a long wait. The attractive salad buffet was NOT canned. In any case, the Petersklause is worth a visit ---- and another ----- and another ---and.....

There were seven of us, and everyone was more than satisfied. The food was delicious, the portions were large enough for a big appetite, the prices were reasonable, and the staff were very friendly. Everything was great, keep up the good work. See you next time 👍👍

Friendliness and very good value for money. I pre-ordered the shoulder of pork and got a huge portion. It tasted absolutely delicious. Great view of the landscape. Highly recommended.

We were here once 2 years ago and were very positively surprised again today. Even if the portions felt a bit smaller, the value for money was still great. We'd love to come back :)

We are currently camping below the Petersklause and went up for dinner today. It was definitely worth it. The advice from the kitchen regarding allergens was excellent. The food was very tasty and the prices were fair. The service was excellent, the sanitary facilities were clean. A visit here is definitely worth it

Were there for the first time today although we drive past it often. Just wanted to look after the chickens, but then ate something straight away. We have to say, we are really impressed. The food was delicious, the view on the terrace was great and the staff was super friendly. The on-site playground is also great for children. We really come more often now. Are more than satisfied.

Just had a very good meal. Rump steak, schnitzel, turkey breast in pineapple curry. All a full 10. My husband always wants the rump steak to be something special. More gravy was also added upon request.

Everything was great and the staff were uncompromisingly friendly, even outside of the usual meal times. After our energy and patience-sapping round of mini golf over almost 3 hours, we were extremely hungry and thirsty. No problem in the Petersklause around 2.30 p.m.!!! We would like to give a big compliment and thank you to the whole team.

The rum steak was unrecognizable as such and the fries were oversalted. Caraway meat was edible, but nothing more. Apple strudel for dessert was delicious. View beautiful. The restaurant won't see us again because the prices are too high for the level.

You can also get something delicious to eat in the afternoon. Onion roast and turkey schnitzel were cooked to a high standard, really tasty and of top quality. And of course it tastes even better with this view :)

The furnishings are a bit very simple, but that didn't bother us. A clear map - and that's a good thing - and really good quality at reasonable prices. This is exactly what you want in an inn in the country. If it weren't so terribly remote, I would happily come back any time.

Nice restaurant, delicious food, nice staff

Service was OK. The selection on the menu was clear, unfortunately there was a lot of fried, unhealthy food. There weren't even dumplings or potato salad. The price-performance ratio was therefore not right. If you like meat with fries, you're in good hands here.

If you like good home cooking and don't want to wait long for your food, this is the place for you. Fast service even with a full house on Sunday lunchtime. Very well organized staff.

We had a trip by bus. There were 46 women from the Ore Mountains. So great, the Petersklause, everyone really enjoyed it, even though it was always drizzling. Really great food - really great, as was the service. The choo-choo train with the driver was also great - what a unique experience! Class,,

Stylishly and comfortably furnished rooms with a great panoramic terrace, attentive, very friendly staff who maintain an overview even with many guests and have the processes under control. The food comes very quickly and is consistently delicious! We expressly recommend the cordon bleu and the Upper Palatinate venison roast - both are an absolute delight! Since the portions are quite generous, you can also order a smaller portion. We always enjoy coming here and can only warmly recommend the Petersklause!

We had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful restaurant and would highly recommend it! The landlord is extremely nice and makes you feel welcome straight away. The food is not only delicious, but also served in generous portions - no one goes hungry here! The staff were consistently friendly and attentive, making the visit a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The location of the restaurant is simply fantastic. With a breathtaking view you can unwind while eating. It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. A family business that, in addition to restaurants, also includes a campsite, a summer toboggan run, etc.: We were looking for a place to have dinner while passing through and wanted to eat close to, but not directly on, the motorway. It was worth it! Great view, delicious food (Bavarian cuisine, spaetzle) and a bit of exercise (playground, pigeons, summer toboggan run, mini golf and...)! Gladly again!

We always enjoy coming back for dinner. The food is delicious, the waitresses are very friendly and accommodating. The boss always has a casual saying on his lips. Everything is taken care of and children are very welcome. It is also a great location to celebrate a wedding and we can only recommend it. Very uncomplicated communication and planning with the boss and a bride kidnapping on the tourist train is a highlight.

Will be here soon for a wedding; We are very happy!! Pack it!

We went to the restaurant for dinner today with a menu voucher from Sybillenbad. We were warmly welcomed by the senior manager and were given a nice place on the well-attended panoramic terrace, even without prior notice. The entire menu was freshly prepared and very tasty. Thank you for the lovely evening 🤗

There is really delicious food here, in a wonderful atmosphere. We are repeat customers and we have never been disappointed here. We stop here every time we spend the night at the campsite. Great, keep it up

An interesting place, as if a bit overdone, but probably normal in DE. One meal and drink per person approx. 500 CZK.

We had lunch here after mini golf and before the summer toboggan run. Very nice and fast service! The ambience is great and the view is simply wonderful. The food didn't take long to arrive and was very, very tasty and a lot. We would definitely recommend it.

Very nice inn above the Freizeithugl campsite in Mitterteich. Very good food and drink and extremely friendly service. We always enjoy coming here.

Near Autobahn, beautiful view and atmosphere. Food was delicious, and the price was acceptable. Lunch for 3 people was around 50€.
