Peak Hotel & Event in Salzgitter

Wir waren für zwei Nächte im Peak und es war wunderschön! Zum einen war das Zimmer sehr gut eingerichtet und die Lage in dem Wald absolut entspannend. Die Aussicht vom Hotel ist atemberaubend und das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Sehr schönes Hotel, sehr nettes Personal, hier stimmt einfach alles! Frühstück auch sehr liebevoll hergerichtet und lecker!

Wir waren 2 Nächte zum Motorrad fahren dort. Das Hotel ist toll im Wald gelegen mit schöner Aussicht in die Ebene. Das Einzelzimmer war schön eingerichtet und sehr praktisch mit großem Bad. Das ganze Hotel ist sehr schön hergerichtet. Warum nur 2 Sterne? Zwei Dinge haben uns wirklich gestört. Das Restaurant hat Donnerstag Abend geschlossen. Ok, kann man sich drauf einstellen. Am Freitag ist es aber 17:00 - 22:00 geöffnet und als wir um 20:45 nach der Tour dort Essen wollten, hieß es ziemlich lapidar, dass die Küche schon zu ist und die Mannschaft weg ist. Was soll das bitte sein. Es ist bei der Lage auch nicht so leicht was anderes zu finden, wenn man nicht mehr fahren will 😕. Null entgegenkommen oder der Versuch was zu retten. Dann kam direkt das zweite Ding vom Personal hinterher: Samstag gibt’s Frühstück erst ab 09:30. Kann echt nicht wahr sein. Normalerweise hätten wir es storniert, aber bezahlt hatten wir schon und zum stornieren war kein Personal da 🙁🙁. Komische Eigenheiten, die damit begründet werden, dass man halt viele Hochzeiten ausrichtet und dann eher spät gefrühstückt wird. War aber keine Hochzeit an dem Tag. Schreibe sonst keine Rezensionen, aber jetzt schon, weil ich echt irritiert war und auch nicht wiederkommen werde.

Unser Aufenthalt war rundum gelungen und absolut empfehlenswert! Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das hervorragende Essen – Hier merkt man sofort, dass Qualität und Frische eine große Rolle spielen. Auch der Service war außergewöhnlich: Das Personal war durchweg freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich, sodass man sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen fühlt. Dieser persönliche Umgang hat unseren Aufenthalt wirklich besonders gemacht. Die Lage des Hotels ist ein weiteres Highlight: idyllisch im Wald gelegen, mit einem wunderschönen Blick über Salzgitter – perfekt zum Abschalten und Genießen der Natur. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Wir waren heute zu Ostern dort essen und es war sehr lecker. Super Service und wirklich gutes Essen. Für die Kinder gab es auch noch einen Schokohasen.

Tatsächlich habe ich probiert offen übers unsere Kritik zu sprechen , da aber niemand vom Peak dazu bereit ist habe ich mich nun entschlossen die Kritik öffentlich zu machen . Die Location ist wirklich wunderschön und bringt alles mit was man sich für eine Hochzeit wünscht . Leider fingen die Probleme zwei Wochen vor der Hochzeit damit an , dass die bestellten Ochsenbäckchen plötzlich 7,50 pro Gast mehr kosten sollten . Selbstverständlich wurde dies im Vorfeld nie erwähnt und ich bin mir sicher das mindest 75% der Hochzeitspaare sich für dieses Gericht entschieden haben . Ärgerlich ist auch das unsere Transportboxen und Hilfsmittel für die Blumen und Tischdeko aus den Räumlichkeiten des Personals verschwunden sein sollen . Der entstandene Schaden beläuft sich auf ca 120€ und hierzu gab es keinerlei Stellungnahme vom Peak . Besonders unschöne finde ich die Tatsache, dass im Nachgang absolut niemand an einem Feedback interessiert war . Allerdings hat bereits einen Tag nach der Hochzeit eine Mitarbeiterin angefangen uns an die Zahlung zu erinnern . Wohlgemerkt 3 Wochen vor dem Zahlungsziel . Bei der Feier verwendeten unsere Trauzeugen Konfetti beim Hochzeitstanz . Dies löste sofort Panik bei unserer Ansprechpartnerin aus und sie drohte mit Kosten im fünfstelligen Bereich . Selbstverständlich kam nichts zu Schaden und auch das Konfetti hätte man am nächsten Tag problemlos mit einem Besen entfernen können . Man entschied sich aber dafür uns das Ganze wortlos mit 300€ in Rechnung zu stellen . Das Thekenpersonal und der Koch waren absolute Spitze und können von uns nur empfohlen werden . Das unsere Zimmer die Ganze Nacht ohne Strom war nehmen wir mal so hin . Absurd wurde es dann Anfang Februar , also fast ein Jahr nach der Trauung , als eine neue Mitarbeiterin anrief und uns eine angeblich offene Rechnung von fast 300€ mitteilte . Wie diese zustande kam konnte sie uns nicht sagen und das sie nirgendwo auftaucht konnte sie uns auch nicht erklären . Die Schuld schob sie durchgehend und sehr professionell auf eine ehemalige Kollegin namens Lilly . Eine absolutes NO GO solche Aufgaben einer neuen Kollegin zu geben und die Schuld auf andere zu schieben . Auf Nachfrage bekamen wir weder per Mail , noch telefonisch eine Antwort. Vor 5 Tagen bekamen wir dann eine Rechnung mit willkürlich aufgeführten Positionen in Höhe von knapp 300€ per Mail . Auch jetzt fühlte sich niemand dafür zuständig und es gab keinerlei Möglichkeiten jemanden zu erreichen . Die Location ist wirklich toll und das gemietet externe Thekenpersonal hat einen tollen Job gemacht . Auch das Essen war wirklich super . Jedoch hat man den Eindruck das , dass Personal überfordert ist und am liebsten ihre eigenen Dienstleister verkauft . Diese Kritik hätte ich gerne persönlich geäußert und nicht zwingend auf Google verfasst . Da aber niemand bereit war über email , Telefon oder Social Media Kontakt mit uns aufzunehmen , war dieser Schritt leider unvermeidlich. An alle die vor haben dort zu heiraten : Die Location ist echt spitze aber lasst euch im Vorfeld alles schriftlich geben und stellt euch darauf ein , dass man evtl. die Rechnung bereits vor der Feier bezahlt haben möchte .

Nettes Lokal mit toller Aussicht

Wir haben zum ersten Weihnachtsfeiertag für die Familie einen Tisch mit 16 Plätzen reserviert. Alles sollte am wichtigsten Tag des Jahres, an dem immer unser Familientreffen stattfindet, perfekt sein. Diesmal haben wir uns für das Peakhotel in Salzgitter Lichtenberg entschieden. Recht hochpreisig aber aufgrund der schönen Lage was ganz Besonderes. Als wir ankamen war der Parkplatz schon so gut wie voll obwohl das Restaurant noch viele freie Plätze aufwies. Wir wurden im Gänsemarsch vorbei an anderen mittlerweile besetzten Tischen in den hinteren Bereich zu unserem Tisch geführt. Was sofort auffiel war dass es im hinteren Bereich des Restaurants sehr kalt war. Gefühlt circa 12 Grad. Alle ließen also ihre Jacken an. Die Bestellung wurde dann von dem am Tischanfang stehenden Kellner, per Zuuruf in ein ipad getippt. Die Situation war also hier schon einer gemütlichen Atmosphäre nicht zuträglich. Die Knödel zu der Gänsebrust ließen sich nicht durch Kroketten ersetzen. ,,Es kann nur so bestellt werden, wie es in der Karte steht,,. Flexibilität wäre hier wünschenswert und angebracht gewesen. Alle froren und fühlten sich sichtlich unwohl. Ein mobiles Heizgerät hätte eventuell die Rettung sein können da uns gesagt wurde dass die Heizung kaputt war. Die Heizkörper waren alle lauwarm. In der Karte fand sich Glühwein und alkoholfreier Winterpunsch. Eine Runde aufs Haus wäre versönlich gewesen. Wir haben trotzdem fast alle Glühwein bestellt. System? Die Espressomaschine war angeblich kaputt. Nach zirka 1 Stunde lief sie dann wohl wieder. Die vier zuvor bestellten Espresso sollten dann auf Kosten des Hauses gebracht werden. Ein weiterer Espresso wurde mit ,,Pech gehabt,, abgelehnt. Ob das hier der merkwürdig kumpelhafte Humor des Kellners gewesen sein soll, hat sich mir dann nicht mehr erschlossen. Insgesamt war die Bedienung sehr forsch und salopp im Umgangston und hat uns nach und nach alle geduzt. Darüber waren wir dann schon verwundert. Das kenne ich eigentlich nur aus einer Kneipe mit langjährigen Stammgästen. Das Essen war gut die ,,Krokettensituation,, hat sich danach auch am Tisch aufgelöst da die Nichte bereit war, Kroketten und Klöße zu tauschen. Wir haben weiterhin gefroren und eine alternative Heizmöglichkeit. war nicht in Aussicht. Da sitzen also nun 16 Gäste und genießen ihre schmackhafte, Gänsebrust oder die Ochsenbäckechen im langen Wintermantel. Währenddessen dudelte aus einer aufgestellten Lautsprecherbox dezente Musik. Das hätte ich nicht gebraucht und die anderen haben sich auch gewundert. Da immer noch gefroren wurde blieben weitere Bestellungen zb. des Vanilleeisbechers des Espresso oder des letzten kleinen Bieres aus, und wir verlagerten unser Familientreffen In die eigenen vier Wände. Der Toilettengang zum Abschluss erwies sich in den Abstieg zu einer Eishöhle. Der Keller ist natürlich auch nicht beheizt, und es ist ein Wunder, dass hier nicht der Spülkasten eingefroren ist. Fazit: Die hohen Erwartungen, die wir hatten, wurden an einigen Stellen doch bitter enttäuscht. Der Service ist unzureichend und man merkt dass hier keine Profis am Werk sind. Einzig in der Küche scheint ein Profi zu arbeiten, da das Essen lecker war. Gastronomie sollte man den Profis überlassen besonders dann wenn man für ein Gericht bis zu 35 EUR aufruft. Entweder du kannst Gastronomie oder du lässt es. Wir werden uns fürs nächste Jahr auf jeden Fall nach einer anderen Lokalität umsehen. Allen ein Schönes Weihnachtsfest 20 25.

Update: Der / Die Betreiber haben per Anwaltskanzlei versucht diese Rezension entfernen zu lassen und sind damit augenscheinlich aus guten Gründen nicht erfolgreich gewesen. Wir hatten für Muttertag einen Tisch für 12 Personen reserviert und wollten hier gemeinsam essen. 1. Es ging damit los, dass kein Tisch frei war, trotz Reservierung. Also wurde unbedarft umgestellt, damit wir irgendwie Platz nehmen können. Einige von uns saßen damit mitten im Gang. 2. Als Tischunterlage gibt es Papierunterlagen, auf denen die Speisekarte aufgedruckt ist. Wenn die vom Vormann vollgesifft ist und nicht ausgetauscht werden kann, weil keine neuen mehr da sind (Es war 12 Uhr, was macht Ihr den Rest des Tages? Für jeden folgenden Kunden einfach eine Zumutung) ist das nicht so schön. 3. Ok: Auf der Tageskarte stand "Spargel mit Sauce Hollondaise oder Butter". Dass das einem die Bedienung nochmal mehr als ausdrücklich und sehr bestimmt sagt und es keine Möglichkeit gab beides zu bekommen (nicht mal für einen Aufpreis) war dann nicht professionell und nicht serviceorientiert. Dass beim gelieferten Hauptgang dann die Sauce separat in einer Sauciere kam machte das ganze dann leider besonders komisch. Aber wo wir beim Hauptgang sind: 4. Zwischen Vorspeise und Hauptgang lagen ziemlich genau 60 Minuten. Viel zu lang! Und wir hatten auch nicht nur 10 Minuten auf die Vorspeise gewartet. 5. Zwischen dem ersten und letzten gebrachten Hauptgang lagen auch noch 9 Minuten (!). Da hatte Person 1 natürlich schon aufgegessen. Wäre ja sonst auch wirklich kalt geworden. Vielleicht sollte hier nicht eine einzelne Person jeweils einen einzelnen Teller pro Wegstrecke tragen. 6. Die leeren Teller vom Hauptgang standen über eine halbe Stunde auf dem Tisch. Auch noch, als der Nachtisch schon kam. Ich muss auch nicht erwähnen, dass der Kuchen erst 10 Minuten nach dem Eis kam und damit natürlich auch die Runde nicht gemeinsam den letzten Gang essen konnte? War leider zu erwarten. Allgemeines: 1. Service kennt da keiner. Das ist heutzutage auch allgemein etwas schwierig, aber so habe ich es noch nie vorher erlebt. Gebt Eurem Service mal den Hinweis, dass er nicht nur eine Aufgabe erfüllen kann. Man kann auch Teller mitnehmen, nachdem man die Bestellung aufgenommen hat. Oder wenn man Getränke bringt, ... Da muss man nicht extra jemanden nur zum Tellerabräumen schicken, das ist ineffizient. 2. Macht mal Eure Kaffeemaschine sauber. Die steht mitten im Eingang und hat es nötig. Hier würde ich nicht mehr hingehen. Nicht einmal, wenn ich eingeladen werde.

Wir haben unsere Hochzeit mit Event am Vorabend im Peak Hotel feiern dürfen und dabei auch das komplette Hotel für ein Wochenende belegt. Ab der ersten Minute haben wir uns absolut willkommen gefühlt, was zum Großteil an dem fantastischen MitarbeiterInnen liegt. Beim Event am Vorabend waren wir im Kaminzimmer und haben ein sehr leckeres Burger Buffet mit unseren Gästen genossen. Der Service bei Getränken und Essen war einwandfrei und immer für einen Spaß zu haben. Der Hochzeitstag hat mit einem tollen Frühstücksbuffet, welches extra für uns 2h vorverlegt wurde, begonnen. Dadurch konnten wir gestärkt zum Standesamt :) Die freie Trauung und der anschließende Empfang auf der wunderschönen Terrasse waren natürlich absolute Highlights. Bei der Party haben wir ein tolles Buffet über mehrere Stunden gehabt und dazu wirklich top Servicekräfte, die zum familiären Feeling sehr viel beigetragen haben. Auch die mehrfache Verlängerung war überhaupt kein Problem. Wir haben von unseren Gästen nur positives über die Zimmer gehört und auch unsere Suite war perfekt für die Hochzeit. Vielen Dank an das Peak Hotel und das tolle Team, die unsere Hochzeit so unvergesslich gemacht haben. Wir freuen uns schon jetzt auf unseren Hochzeitstag im Peak Hotel.

Super leckeres Essen und super freundliche Bedienung

We experienced the Peak Hotel at a wedding reception. The catering and service were excellent. I can't comment on the rooms, as I only saw them briefly. The location on a small hill near a castle ruin offers a fantastic view and the opportunity to explore the forest. Definitely worth a visit.

A beautiful location and incredibly friendly staff. Unfortunately, the downside is that there isn't a single accessible restroom on site. Especially for a venue that hosts large celebrations like weddings, this is absolutely essential, in my opinion.

We were there with a larger group and first did the scavenger hunt and then had something to eat. Unfortunately, I personally can't recommend the scavenger hunt at all, especially not for the price. The clues and the map provided are very vague, so we spent a lot of time searching for the supposed "clue locations" and ultimately had to call the organizer, who sent us to a much more distant location. At the beginning, it wasn't at all clear what we were looking for. Our second group had similar problems, but were able to piece together the solution based on the surroundings and the two puzzles we found first, and finished the "treasure hunt." Our subsequent criticism was also only half-heartedly received. As for the food, I have to say that neither I nor the others (who had ordered burgers) enjoyed my burger. However, the rest of the group members said the food was good.

I think the hotel has a lot of potential, partly because of its fantastic location. We arrived for a wedding reception that wasn't held at this hotel. After checking in, we briefly went to the apartment with the two rooms, Bangkok and Bali, which is located above the restaurant and not in the regular hotel room wing. We were told we could access the apartment at any time, so we didn't bother asking for a key or card. When we returned to the hotel at 1:00 a.m., we found ourselves in front of locked doors. Everything was locked and completely deserted. Despite repeatedly ringing the outside bell or calling the emergency number (!!!) or the owner's phone number, all was in vain. Nothing happened, and no one answered the phone. We finally returned to the car (luckily, one person was sober) and drove the 75-minute drive home. My phone complaint the following day was dismissed with a laconic "sorry - mistakes happen." They thought we were part of the wedding party celebrating at the hotel, and since the wedding ended early and the guests had "disappeared," the staff also left the venue. Luckily, our second couple was able to stay nearby and was thus able to collect our belongings from the apartment the next morning, but again, not a word of apology. The money was promptly refunded, but otherwise, there was no apology whatsoever. As I said, the hotel certainly had potential with a professional team – but not this time. Peak Hotel Salzgitter… never again for us!!!!

The room was truly a disgrace! There were flies in the windowsill, a pair of nail clippers was found that wasn't ours, and there was hair and dust under the bed, definitely from several people. There was black mold in the bathroom's grout. The view from the room could have been nice if it weren't for the "bulky waste" (mattress and half a sofa). A nice place for a party, but for the price (€150 for a broom closet), I'd rather take a taxi home next time.

The hotel has a lot of potential, a great location, and a quiet area, but unfortunately, it's not well maintained at all. The owners should perhaps consider replacing the cleaning staff. The price-performance ratio was actually good!!! We were totally disappointed!!! Even in the stairwell, everything was very dirty, with dead insects everywhere on the steps and dirty walls and doors. Our room, the Deluxe Suite, was unfortunately also completely filthy. Completely unimaginable for a suite in this price range and, unfortunately, despite its potential, not recommended! Most likely, it hadn't been cleaned at all. The bathtub in the bedroom was covered in footprints and sticky (probably soap residue). The walls and wallpaper were smeared with dead insects. The small refrigerator in the entrance area was very dirty and sticky. The cups smelled unpleasant, and the sponge for washing up was also old/not new. The toilet paper rolls in the bathroom were all used up. I don't see that in other hotels at all. Hygiene... The website boasts a great view, which unfortunately cannot be enjoyed due to the completely dirty, uncleaned windows. There is no air conditioning. Some of the service staff were very unfriendly. We were disappointed. As I said, the hotel has great potential, but unfortunately, it is not maintained at all, which makes the prices completely unjustified. Therefore, I would not recommend it.

Great hotel, great service, delicious food, beautiful terrace and beer garden! We were there with our three dogs because we were passing through - that wasn't a problem at all and we were still welcome guests. Any time!

March 22, 2025 Spanish evening. Buffet and live music according to the advertised offer for 35 euros, plus drinks. But unfortunately, like our last visit to this event, no live music today. Last time the artists were sick. Today we don't know what's going on here. It's all a joke. That was the last time for us. 😡

I discovered it by chance and was absolutely thrilled. Everything is thoughtfully designed and decorated with love, including many extras. Very friendly service and excellent food. I'm already looking forward to the beer garden in the summer.

We had the amazing New Year's Eve menu. It was extremely good and delicious. Unfortunately, the setting was a bit chaotic. Seats were only available at the communal table, the first drink order took an hour, and the drinks were very limited—no wine selection. The service was overwhelmed by the number of guests. The breaks between courses were too long. Most people paid before dessert so they could leave right after.

I had an appointment there today with my family for a communal meal. Especially at Christmas, you might not pay much attention to the price. The family reunion was more important to me. I ordered a Jägerschnitzel. As a side dish there were French fries and carrots at a price of 28.50 euros. It was really bad and I've never eaten so badly. My brother, who was a star chef, would have given it back immediately. Served absolutely carelessly. The hall was freezing cold and windy. You don't want to wait for overpriced dessert here. Just bad. I'm totally disappointed.

Great!!! Always happy to come back!!!

The Christmas market was great.

We didn't stay overnight, only ate there in the run-up to Christmas. It's better to reserve in advance as the number of tables is limited. We sat in the fireplace room, it was quite loud. The service was very good, many drinks (including winter ones) to choose from. The food is hearty. The Schäufle was very good, the schnitzel with mushroom sauce was decent. Cheese spaetzle and spinach dumplings were also delicious. For dessert we had Tarte Tatin (not a big hit) and Kaiserschmarrn (super delicious!).

Brought the child there for the Christmas party. From below the forest looked very nice for a walk. Will be rescheduled in the spring.

Deducted double amount and unable to refund overpayment

Peak Salzgitter is difficult to reach by phone and email (no response)! The refund of the advance payment for an event that is later canceled via a booking via OpenTable will only be processed after two weeks.

Super delicious food with attentive service in a beautiful location

Basically, the hotel is in a great location: Lichtenberg Castle and the surrounding forests are ideal for hiking. However, it cannot and must not be the case that after a request for 6 rooms and a corresponding offer from the hotel, the immediate acceptance of the offer is then canceled a day later due to "overbooking". This is a mistake that shouldn't happen to a hotel - especially since travel arrangements have already been made. Also note: charging a parking fee for internet bookings - with a public car park right next to the hotel premises - is indecent. All in all, I am very disappointed with the contact and the way the inquiry went.

I was born in Lichtenberg and grew up with friends on the Burgberg. When she was young, and later as a wife, she never missed a party or dance. As a 17-year-old, I pulled my grandmother up in a handcart with my boyfriend because there were hardly any cars to fulfill her fondest wish of seeing the marriage market, i.e. the dance event, again at Pentecost. Now I wanted to fulfill this wish for my 88th birthday. So I invited 3 younger friends and had a table reserved. So far so good. Then it started. As we are severely disabled, we have difficulty getting over the high stepping stones and swings the door came. There we were given a table very briefly, but I don't know how to be friendly. In front of us, a servant threw a beer tulip from the tea cart, that can happen, but without caring about the 1000 splinters or us as guests, he went on and set the table, which meant that the knife and fork lay carelessly on the table and the napkin next to it . Completely normal in a pub but not upscale. Not exactly appetizing, not to mention hygiene. .The food pages were missing from my menu, so we ordered 4 different meals, plus the drinks, with the request that they not be served ice cold0. After less than 10 minutes all the food and drink was there. The drinks were ice cold and the food was superbly prepared. But everything else would have fit into a better fast food joint. My fried potatoes had neither salt nor pepper, were completely tasteless and soft like they came from the microwave, the brawn was huge but had no taste, the salad was well washed with a little sauce on top, my friends felt the same way. All three of them were completely disappointed and there was also a cook. We paid and left. The whole thing took 40 minutes, since we were standing in front of the front door, I actually wanted to spend the evening there, like in the old days. The only good thing about the evening was the server, she was friendly and lovable. It may be that people don't value us old people because we don't celebrate big events anymore. That's why we went up in the middle of the week so as not to waste time. Everything outside is beautiful and inviting, but our food was a complete disaster. Now I've been up there again and I know that I'll never come back and that I'll tell my seniors how negatively we were treated. Nevertheless, I wish the house a good future,

Really well located hotel. Wonderful view, you can sit and enjoy inside or outside!

We were there for lunch. The map is clear, which I think is very good. The food came very quickly. Tasty and plentiful. Very friendly service staff.

Nice place with good views. Unfortunately, the view of the landscape is spoiled by wind turbines. Otherwise I was very satisfied

Went here for the first time today for a small celebration (without an overnight stay) 🙂, great surroundings and location of the restaurant 👌. Nice service, lekka food, I had fish and chips, the other meals also looked and tasted very good and then came the visual highlight in the form of ice cream, which also tasted great 😋😋😋!! I will find the way there again 😃

The ambience is very good. Unfortunately the service is a bit inexperienced. One expected a little more. E.g. serving the aperitif in a shot glass doesn't work at all.😢

The food in the restaurant was good. The terrace in the middle of the forest is very nice and quiet. You have to pay at the counter, which can take longer. Of course it would be nice if this could also be done at the table. Unfortunately there was only one type of red wine to choose from, but it was really tasty.

We celebrated our wedding at the Peak Hotel and the location was great! The rooms are great, super equipped. The hall and also the beer garden are a big highlight. Everything is very chic and stylishly furnished. We and our guests really liked the location! The food was hugely praised. Many thanks to the team. We will always remember the day!

We celebrated our daughter's 1st birthday at the Peak Hotel. It was really beautiful, we rented the fireplace room and the room was prepared for us with love. The location and the outdoor area are really beautiful and highly recommended. We felt very comfortable. The service was also great and very attentive. The food and drinks are also highly recommended. We'll definitely come back for dinner. Thank you for everything. Magdalena

Our friends had a wedding reception here and we stayed there! Unfortunately the rooms were not swept clean and you couldn't walk barefoot. Unfortunately, as is now the case almost everywhere, there is a shortage of staff here. Unfortunately you notice this in the service! Something went wrong.

Unfortunately for us it was a failure. Price-performance ratio is not right. For such a high price range we didn't get what we expected, despite prior notice as travelers with small children. We were there from Thursday to Friday. There was a wedding on each of the days, one of which was unfortunately so loud that the children couldn't fall asleep. The information was previously available, but that it would take place in close proximity to the bedrooms was not. We also inquired beforehand about breakfast, which unfortunately was not available as discussed. The mainstay seems to be weddings and events. The hotel business is running "sideways" and that's how we were treated. We would have been okay with that if we were in a hostel level price range, but not for around €400 for a long weekend in poorly renovated rooms that were unfortunately also dirty. Unfortunately, the poor overall impression could not be improved by the idyllic location, the loving design and the efforts of the employees. Recommended for solo travelers without children and without a breakfast request, but not at this price. It's a shame, we've been saving up for this vacation for a long time.

Nice, quiet and cozy hotel. Invites you to simply unwind. Unfortunately, I was there for work and didn't have the time to fully enjoy it all. Breakfast is self-service. Good idea but could be a little better prepared.

We went to the restaurant for dinner for the first time yesterday. Getting there is currently a bit inconvenient (due to road closures), but hopefully that will change again soon. When we arrived at the top, we took a seat on the terrace in beautiful weather and enjoyed the beautiful view of the countryside and the distance. A nice start to the evening... The service brought the food/drink menus (in what seemed to be a current clipboard style used everywhere) and we were surprised at the selection on offer. Shortly afterwards we were able to place our drinks order and go back to choosing the food. The order was placed at the same time as the drinks were delivered. A short time later, the food was brought to the table and was very appealing both visually and in terms of taste. In one or two recessions I have read the terms “expensive” and “poor price/performance ratio”. Looking at the prices for our meals, they weren't necessarily cheap, but they were very good in terms of quality and taste. My personal impression is that the location would like to play in the "upper league" - which is quite legitimate given the location and the ambience. Where there is so much light there is of course always a little shadow, for which I simply have to deduct a star. In my opinion, with the request from the “upper league” described above, some things cannot happen. As keywords for the owner: - "Protein drink" - "Return of the mounted messenger across the Andes" From my point of view, the points mentioned are "small mistakes" that simply shouldn't happen (even if they were "corrected" straight away). But we will definitely come by again. Then you are welcome to show that the fifth star is justified :-)

The narrow road there is a challenge with oncoming traffic, but the restaurant, the hiking area and the castle tour are worth the journey.

We were invited to eat there and we enjoyed it very much and the portions were more than enough! The service was friendly and attentive. The beautiful location and the great view complete the whole thing!

My birthday party at the peakHotel was a lovely celebration for everyone involved. This was also ensured by the professional preparation by Ms. Hauseler and her crew. I would also like to highlight the two service menus of the evening and the kitchen. Accommodating many guests in the hotel room also left little to be desired. I can only recommend the Peak.

We can only report positive things. The food is super delicious, many thanks to the catering team, the service is great, great cocktails and gins. The team is really keen on the guests and feels like they are in very good hands. The hotel room/suite was really nice and well furnished. In short, we recommend 100% 😉
