Peach Pit Diner in Neu-Ulm

The service staff is always friendly. The food is frozen. All the dishes I've tried so far have tasted poor to mediocre. Therefore, the value for money isn't right.

Two of us went there on Sunday without a reservation. We were quickly shown to a table and after a good 5-10 minutes we ordered our drinks and food. We had to wait a good 15-20 minutes for the drinks (for a Coke and a Ginger Ale), and then another 45 minutes for the food, and we didn't have anything special (nuggets and chicken fingers)! Unfortunately, only the food we had ordered arrived. After 15 minutes, we asked if it was still coming. They said they would see, but nothing ever came. In the end, we didn't want to wait any longer and paid. When we paid, we told the waitress that we hadn't received our food and we were treated very rudely by her. In her rude way, we didn't leave a tip, which made her even ruder! We definitely won't be coming again, but the chicken nuggets were good.

We were there on July 6th after a concert and were approached very unpleasantly at 11:14 p.m. by the older of the two serving ladies. She was very unfriendly and rude, even though we only wanted a drink and the place was open until midnight. Normally, I would have given her zero stars, but the younger waitress was very polite and nice. However, to reflect how unpleasant the supposed shift supervisor was, I unfortunately have to give her fewer stars. There were more guests after us who were treated very badly.

A great place for burgers and cocktails for 25 years. The pizza and the "big business" fried platter are also recommended. Perfect for a pre- or post-movie meal. Special highlights: - Ketchup bottles on every table - Real straws, not disgusting, soggy paper ones!

I don't usually write reviews, but in this case, I felt it was necessary. We went there after a long time to celebrate a birthday (9 people) and had reserved a table online in advance. Unfortunately, there was no table available for us when we arrived. When we asked to sit outside, we were told they would have to "see" if that was possible. Ultimately, we had to push our tables together ourselves – without any help from the staff. In our opinion, that's absolutely not acceptable. One waitress in particular caught our attention on Thursday evening – (the one with the feather tattoo on her upper chest). She was extremely unfriendly, constantly annoyed us, and gave us strange looks. Of course, everyone can have a bad day, but this kind of behavior towards guests is unacceptable. If you're no longer enjoying your job, maybe you should consider doing something else – because how you interact with guests makes all the difference in the restaurant industry. It's a shame – we were looking forward to the evening, but were unfortunately disappointed!

I really enjoyed the food. I thought the cocktails were the best. I would definitely visit this place again.

Ketchup on the table was watery, otherwise good overall package, American food, friendly and attentive staff.

Delicious, clean, fast... It's simply wonderful to be well-cared for and well-looked after. I like and recommend the Big Daddy, and the portions are really generous... I was stuffed.

Four of us ate here today. What can I say? We've always come back. Good food and good service have always been a given. Those days seem to be over. First of all, thank you for the friendly waitress who first informed us about the seating arrangements. "NO pushing tables together!" - we hadn't planned on doing that, but thank you. A hello isn't necessary these days. So we sat down at an empty table for four (which we had planned to do anyway). Here, too, the waitress was in a mood like it had been raining for seven days. The drinks came quickly, as did the food. Honestly, €6.60 for an extra patty on a burger is pretty steep. Apart from that, they didn't even look you in the face, even though everyone tipped you. Thanks, but we won't be eating here again, let alone drinking. The food was okay, but nothing compared to a year ago.

Good food was in the afternoon, there were few people there.

It used to be my favorite place, but since the new waitress, I haven't set foot in there. I was just there and wanted to eat, but after the unfriendly reception, I left immediately. Everyone has a bad day, but this isn't the first.

Too bad, there were four of us and we ordered three starters. They arrived lukewarm and with the main course, not before. We had burgers, which were okay but almost cold. The coleslaw salad was drenched in mayonnaise. The server didn't ask if everything was okay during the meal. Then we sat for ages in front of empty drinks and the dishes. We actually wanted dessert. But it took a really long time for her to clear the table, and again, no one asked if we enjoyed it. We still left a tip when paying, but there wasn't even a thank you or a wish for a nice evening. That's not how you win new customers, unfortunately. I regret spending over €100 😓

I've been going to the Peach Pit for years, and a visit to the cinema is a must for almost every visit. The non-alcoholic drinks are great. I do have one small complaint, though: back then, the menu, for example, came with a few extra fries for the burger. (It could just be a coincidence, though.) Otherwise, I'd love to go back 👍

I've been there several times with my boyfriend. The food was always delicious, portions were a little smaller, but I was still full. As always, Caipiginger is delicious. Can't understand the many very bad reviews. The employees have always been very friendly so far.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Absolutely disappointing! We had reserved a table for seven people for a birthday a month ago and explicitly mentioned that we would like to sit outside if the weather was nice. Everything went wrong upon arrival. Two of us arrived first and asked for a table outside. The waitress was unfriendly and had a rude attitude. She said we could sit outside, but there would be no service – we would have to get our own drinks and weren't allowed to take food outside. This meant we couldn't sit outside together. We decided to get drinks at the bar first and wait outside until the others arrived. When we were all there and went inside to use our reserved table, it had simply been given away! Instead of finding a solution, they wanted to split us up at small, separate tables – for a birthday party! The service was rude, unhelpful, and completely uninterested in accommodating us. We ended up leaving and ended up at a nearby Greek restaurant. Everything there was fresh, delicious, reasonably priced, and the service was warm and professional. We had a great evening and felt welcome. Peach Pit? Never again! Save yourself the trip; there are far better alternatives in Neu-Ulm.

The California salad was a disgrace. It looked like a bag from a discount store. There was no dressing.

Very tasty and quick food ordering and preparation

It's getting worse and worse... We've been here three times this year, and I have to say it's getting worse instead of better! Some of the food is cold and extremely greasy. The flavor is lacking, and if you ask for ketchup, it takes 15 minutes for it to finally arrive... That's just not acceptable! This was the last time I'll be here!

It's just a shame that a diner doesn't look like a typical diner. The great furniture, such as the benches, chairs, tables - a few decorations are meant to show that you are in a diner, but well, there are cobwebs hanging from some of the lamps, but otherwise it is clean. The steak seems to be tasty, the burger is rather unloving, Kevin, for example, has a slice of gherkin, tomato, a few pieces of onion, the meat and sauce but always a small flag in the middle of the burger ☺️ The price is really ok, really typical diner things like the obligatory coffee (like you know from the film) are not on the menu. Our server was very friendly, the drink came immediately after ordering and the food came quickly too.

We were there on a Friday evening. We appreciated the different seating areas. It was quite crowded (including noisy children), but it wasn't very relaxing. The food tasted okay. However, it seemed like they could have made it a little cheaper from the frozen food section.

More show than substance Unfortunately, the visit was a disappointment. The restaurant serves only frozen food – and it shows. Everything tastes like it came out of a microwave: soggy fries, dry nuggets, and bland pizza. For the price, I would have expected more freshness and quality. If you value real food, you'd better go elsewhere.

Every time I go to Peach Pit, wonderful memories come back. I was there when it opened - shortly after the American bases were withdrawn. The place still has that special American flair to this day. It's easy to find a parking space, the salads are fresh and delicious, and the cocktails are simply great! I like to go there every chance I get – it makes me happy every time.

Disaster: We had a reservation for 6 p.m. and had to wait at the entrance for 10 minutes before we were noticed. We were then allowed to sit down but were given the comment that they couldn't guarantee we would be served. They have a shortage of staff. After 30 minutes of waiting at the table without being noticed, we left.

The food is generally ok, but you can't go wrong with ready meals. A special highlight was the curdled mayonnaise, which - like the ketchup - sits in the warmth all day. That was quite a mood killer and simply doesn't work in the restaurant industry. The service was very nice and often asked if you wanted or needed anything else. Special requests were also taken into account. Three cocktails we ordered were forgotten. These were also brought upon request. The ambience is very reminiscent of Hollywood and, in my opinion, fits well in a cinema. I still think that there are better restaurants in the surrounding area where you can get better culinary advice.

We were there today, really nice diner, friendly staff, delicious food. I like the cinema atmosphere.

The service gets worse every time. Bad-tempered staff who just bang around with the dishes. Take order 20 minutes until drinks arrive, another 20 minutes. Clapped unfriendly and you have to run after it to pay. Keep it up! Let's see how long people will put up with this. More appearance than reality. Too bad!

Great food, desperados to go for the film afterwards.

If you are overwhelmed with 3 tables and you are ignored, you have no interest in customers. Depending on what mood you're in, there wasn't much going on there today on April 12th, 2025 on a Saturday evening. But you shouldn't work in an a la carte shop if it's too stressful :) One star for the worst service I have ever experienced in the Neu Ulm area!

We stopped here while passing through and were very pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is cozy and somewhat reminiscent of American restaurants. The service came quickly, was extremely friendly and nice. The order that was placed also felt like it arrived within a few minutes. This was very tasty and the portion was large enough. We especially liked the dip! Finally, we ordered a raspberry milkshake to take away...it was freshly homemade and tasted fantastic. The only small drawback is the lack of parking space. We searched forever until we could park our car. However, we don't come from Ulm...maybe that was the reason.

I like going to the Peach Pit, very nice staff, the food is good and in the summer you can sit outside on the large terrace.

The location is absolutely worth it! Food perfect, despite being full house we hardly had to wait longer than 20 minutes for our food!

We had to speak to the waitress so that we could even order. In addition, when I paid, my change was thrown on the table just because I didn't leave a tip because of the rude service. There wasn't a goodbye either, many thanks to the nice waitress, I know I won't be drinking again in the future.

I ate a delicious, very juicy Mummy Burger 🍔 with super tasty fries. I have rarely eaten such good fries. If I had to recommend something taste-wise, it would definitely be the fries. The Mummy Burger 🍔 would also be worth another visit.

It’s fine. Tasted like an American burger. The banana milk shake was basically banana milk. The fries were not hot, and the coleslaw was overdressed. We won’t be back, but it’s fine for a quick fast-food meal.

We're totally exhausted. We wanted to have something to eat and drink on the terrace after an ebike tour. We waited forever, but there was no service. After I went in and had to wait another 5 minutes because the lady was on her cell phone, she very rudely told me that they didn't serve outside. We would have gotten the food and drink out ourselves, but this suggestion came from this unpleasant, unfriendly lady who didn't even want to fall asleep. Then why is the terrace decked out and the door to it open? What a shame, we will soon stop visiting the peachpit and pass it on to our friends. It's a shame because everything was in pure sunshine and we actually always enjoyed being there.

Very unfriendly towards his guests. Woman with dark curly hair scares old woman and forces her to pay because the woman has no more time after waiting. I was standing next to me and wanted to order something, but was ignored for 20 minutes by her colleague and the old lady canceled the meal. Crazy times without any understanding of values. Great service with very good cappuccino.

A great place to relax for both companies and families. They were at a children's birthday party. Very good menu and drinks. The children spent time on the playground, then went to the cinema. Waiters are friendly and polite.

Food is good, price performance is great, there is a lack of waiting staff

Ordered salad. 10.50 euros, you get exactly 5 large leaves of lettuce, 2 slices of tomatoes, 2 slices of cucumber, a few kernels of corn and a little grated carrot. Since I chose the balsamic dressing, they simply gave me vinegar, oil, salt and pepper. Oh yes, there was still 1 slice of the baguette. So when it comes to a salad plate, I really imagine something different.

I can recommend 0! After the visit I had a stomach bug. My citizen's flesh was a bit burnt and the Fanta wasn't a Fanta. I asked if I could please get a new Fanta and then I was brought the same thing again. It tasted like burnt coffee beans! I don't know what exactly it was, but if you don't want to risk a stomach bug then don't go there. :)

I was served a delicious Pils by a very nice and humorous waitress... On Wednesday, January 29th. evening after the film. If you don't understand this review, don't do anything. This is an insider from redhead to blonde!! Thank you very much, it was very funny!!

We were really pleasantly surprised. We ordered three different types of steak, each with a different degree of doneness, and everything was cooked exactly how we wanted it. And the taste? Simply delicious! The service was really extremely friendly and accommodating. Finally, we had one or two cocktails mixed for us, and they were absolutely perfect too.

The food is good for the price. Nothing special but well done. The service is quick and the wait staff are always friendly. Parking only cost 1 Euro even if you only come for a meal and not watch a moive.

We've been there a few times, and I can't really complain. We'll definitely go back. My only complaint is that the staff don't know how to prepare a few rare cocktails. This leads to some interesting mixes :) but also delicious ones. I've never had a complaint; I think even if I had, they would have helped me immediately. I would perhaps recommend a little instruction manual to avoid too much confusion. I love the names of the dishes and always have to smile while browsing. I always recommend it before or after a movie :)

Nice atmosphere, service was friendly until a negative review came along. I ordered baked potatoes with turkey gyro, but unfortunately, they served pork instead of turkey. The waiter didn't want to accept any criticism, didn't apologize, and just said, dissatisfied, "They don't use pork." Absolutely unacceptable!!!

The food was very good, the decor was nice, and we were fortunate enough to be seated right away. You might have to wait a bit (especially when a movie ends or a blockbuster opens, many people eat here). The staff was friendly and immediately brought us the cutlery we were missing and even replaced the empty ketchup bottle.

A classic American diner. The food is consistently good quality, even over long periods. I like coming here, especially because it's right in the cinema.

The food was good but nothing special. We enjoyed it and it filled our stomachs for the movie. The service was excellent and the wait times were also very short, even when there were a lot of people there. The prices were similar to other diners. Definitely recommended, and we'll eat here again next time we go to the cinema.

When we asked by phone a few days in advance, we were told that reservations were not possible. When we arrived, we stood in a long line and watched as guests with reservations kept walking past. Afterwards we found out that you could supposedly make a reservation by email - very unprofessional. The waitresses were really hard-working and made an effort, but the entire restaurant seemed chaotic. While four men behind the counter were pouring drinks, they obviously had nothing better to do than watch the Bundesliga on their cell phones instead of clearing the tables or helping the waitresses bring drinks or food to the tables. There is definitely a need for action in the organization here! The food was another disappointment. Everything seemed to be bought ready-made, just briefly fried, with no attention to detail or special taste. The visit was anything but successful for us and we certainly won't be coming back. It's a shame about the efforts of the waitresses, but the overall package just wasn't right.

Ambience great. Unfortunately all three burgers were very dry. The meat was fried to death, just a dollop of sauce on it and the buns were also quite hard. The service was on point, but it felt like there weren't enough service staff for the number of people. Therefore you always had to wait quite a long time.

The staff really tried hard to organize a table for 11 people, which worked out great. The fact that everything is connected to the cinema wasn't our thing, so a spatial separation would be an advantage. Of course, if you want everything under one roof and eat straight from the cinema, it's perfect. There wasn't a large crowd so that moviegoers and Peach Pit Diner visitors would have gotten in each other's way.

The food is nothing special and the side dishes/finger food are bought in but are still delicious. The garlic dip in particular is so delicious and the burger sauce is also great. I would particularly like to praise the staff. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. I always like to come back just because of the staff. P.S. I would like the recipe for the garlic dip 😅

Cool restaurant in the middle of the cinema complex. The service was super friendly and the food came very quickly even though the shop was full. The food itself was tasty but far too greasy. When we left, people were lining up because everything was occupied.
