Super delicious food and really great and attentive service. The furnishings/dining room also impresses with its coziness. You can really enjoy yourself and spend some time here!

Very nice staff, even though there were a lot of children with us and they were running around everywhere. Salad and the main course were very tasty. Although we all got the same food, we were still served quickly, which is not easy with around 40-50 guests. Would love to come back. If you get a parking space, the first 3 hours are free, but you have to register in the system. Facilities simply top.

Rustic but chic atmosphere at the same time. Extremely friendly, attentive and competent staff. The dog was allowed to come along and was immediately welcomed as a “guest of honor” with water and a bowl. The food was excellent and there was hardly any waiting time, even though the restaurant was busy. Absolutely recommended. Great value for money. Thanks

Rustically furnished and very happy with everything

Some of the food was disappointing. Onion roast with tendons, salad was very good, but was only brought when the main course was already half eaten. The soup was excellent. The dessert was ok. The service staff seemed chaotic and overwhelmed and sometimes reacted snippily to questions. A small special request could not or would not be fulfilled. The atmosphere is very cozy and spacious.

We were having lunch at PaulasAlb as craftsmen. Despite the somewhat dusty appearance, we received very friendly service. The food that is difficult to describe I haven't eaten so well in a long time. Deer goulash, a poem, the house burger, wow. The fact that it is a restaurant is not reflected in the price. A place where you would love to go often.

What can you say about that? Everything is great! Prices are decent, but absolutely justified!

The food is good. We had a person with us who relies on gluten-free food. In a telephone consultation, an allergen card was promised, which unfortunately was not available on site. Communication regarding intolerances is therefore difficult and one has to hope that the kitchen receives the correct instructions.

Paulas Alb is great. The interior is all wooden and cosy. The food is excellent, also the salad bar is great with all sorts of different salads. I can only recommend this restaurant.

We had 3 wonderful days in Paula's Alb. Great breakfast and we went for lunch once. . The room was great too. Only he has us Balcony was missing, but that's the only thing I can complain about. We'll be back.

Food is good but prices are at a very high level.

I've been to Paula's Alb several times. The ambience is really great, the service is usually good (there are exceptions from time to time). The food is good, vegetarian dishes are sometimes a bit scarce (in relation to the price charged). A label on the salad buffet would be desirable for people who have to/want to avoid certain things. This has already been mentioned here in the reviews. As a guest, I don't feel like asking the staff every time what goes into the individual salads. What doesn't work at all, however, is dealing with complaints. As a guest, I don't want to be approached by the boss in an inappropriate, sulky tone, even though I have politely pointed out an issue. However, my friends and acquaintances have often confirmed the behavior of the boss. I've actually been avoiding Paula's Alb since what happened and won't be coming back. Too bad.

We were extremely satisfied with the food, the reception, the service and the atmosphere. Very friendly staff, Michi served us excellently. She was quick, efficient, funny and very accommodating. We enjoyed our stay in Paula's Alb and can highly recommend the restaurant. The starter of the fried pulpo with the truffled mashed potatoes was an absolute taste bomb. A big compliment to the entire staff and management. Worth a visit!

One of the few German restaurants in Ehingen that are also open for lunch. Only the salad buffet is worth a visit. I would immediately agree that it would be fine dining, but every time you are asked whether you have made a reservation first and something like that is a “no go” in any restaurant, you immediately feel rejected and unwelcome. I will come back and if I don't get asked this question anymore I will acclimate the recession in a positive way 😊

Since the renovation everything has become even more beautiful and fits together perfectly. The service is very professional and pleasant. The food is always very tasty, sufficient and beautifully prepared. Great concept and a real enrichment for Ehingen!

The spare ribs were to die for! Very juicy but not drowned in sauce. Simply perfectly fried, moderately salted, so that the naturally delicious meat taste comes into its own! 2 whole racks and each one is a pleasure! The fries were also sensational, but they don't stand a chance against the ribs!! Very nice service and tasty beer!

Probably the best meal I've had in a restaurant. Our client had booked a buffet for us. That was of course very accommodating! Those were really two very tasty days. The food alone made the job worth it. But the entrance is not so easy to find if you are new :) The furnishings are also fantastic and very comfortable. I also thought it was very nice that the waitress used the same name back. In this isolated world where everyone is a stranger, it's nice to experience some good, rural values.

From the outside you can't imagine what awaits you inside! Inside you can expect a rustically furnished wooden alm with very friendly staff and great food!

The greeting of the new guests was much friendlier and better than "what do you want here now?" We are currently talking about 4*(!). From behind the counter it was then explained that we were now going up one floor. What then followed for us was a micro-odyssey through corridors that were partly odor-filled, "endless", zigzagging and partly sloping. We found our room after a maximum of 10 minutes. First impression: A rogue thought of daring to reminisce about the 1970s (Prilblümchen): not “warm-hearted” but probably “fully modern”. The bed was okay, the bathroom was really modern (seriously! even though the Kleenex box was empty)). When we returned from eating in the house and taking a walk - to stay in the room - we were a bit exhausted from the long journey and soon went to bed. “What’s constantly rattling?” After various unsuccessful attempts to fall asleep, I courageously tried to track down the noise, which was apparently caused by the wind. A contorted look out of the window revealed: It was obviously the fastening of the floor-high hotel flag: a metal part hit the flagpole for seconds(!): Seen from the inside, this event is about 80cm! away from the sleeper: the word “structure-borne noise” becomes more dramatic. Of course, we don't blame the 4-star hotel for the fact that the acoustic event was enriched by really accurate quarter and full hour chimes from the nearby church! We would both like to describe the food in the restaurant in the evening as "tasty": a splash too much of Maggi in the Maultaschen filling, the pastry a bit thin, the potato salad good. There was a lot at the “deer”! Sauce with mushrooms (the sauce tasted the same as the one with the Maultaschen): Okay. The in-house Hefeweizen: delicious. The breakfast was really good and presented by a super service person! What annoys me: When I checked out, I reported in detail about the annoying clattering of flags at night and clearly stated that this left a lasting negative impression. Result: We were generously waived the parking fee (€6 to around €145). That might not be the end of the story.

Nice hotel in the middle of Ehingen. Were here for three days. Unfortunately, a big drawback at night 🌃 some new residents don't understand the word quiet and decency.

We regularly come for lunch with colleagues and are always impressed by the quality of the food and the ambience.

We have been there several times and can only praise everything. The staff is very friendly and attentive, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is very cozy.

Beautiful, cozy furnishings that are reminiscent of an alpine hut. The food was good, home-style. Unfortunately, the fancy dishes cannot make up for the less beautiful presentation of the food. For example, the cordon bleu is on the plate alone with a slice of lemon, and there is also a bowl of fries. Without sauce or dips. The prices are probably adjusted to current inflation. 3-4 sticks of asparagus with ONE pancake and cream cheese dip WITHOUT potatoes WITHOUT salad for €25. The hollandaise sauce in the other asparagus dishes was flaky and curdled. The service was ok. E.g. No one asked at the table whether everything was OK. One dish was not served with the other dishes. When asked (after about 5 minutes) it was served after another 10 minutes. There was no “sorry” from the waitress.

So about the ambience, I recently went to sooo for the first time... Paulas Alb was formerly Adler for many years and was simply interested in what it would look like now after the major renovation. Great renovation, the rooms take a bit of getting used to - but we know that humans are creatures of habit and you quickly get used to it. Hence the five stars for the ambience. The service that day, I had the feeling that the waitress was quickly overwhelmed with so many people or trying to accommodate everyone's needs. That's why only four stars for service here. Now we come to food, the most important thing of all 😅 when you go to a restaurant. So I had the lukewarm salmon with rösti and a ginger-honey dip, the rösti was absolutely delicious 😋 there's nothing to complain about at all. The dip I have to say, I tasted the honey very well, I missed the spicy note of ginger, I didn't taste it at all, it's a shame but not bad, the potato rosti with the dip also tasted wonderful together. I didn't think the salmon was such a hit, but I wasn't the only one - my colleagues weren't as happy with it as I thought/expected either. That's why I give it four out of a possible five stars. Everything else was fine, but the salmon wasn't the highlight for me at that moment. The salad buffet was great, but I didn't have that many types of salad - because I just didn't want something to be thrown out just because I couldn't finish it. Otherwise, the buffet is really great and caters for every taste. Thank you very much for the evening, I will certainly come to Paulas Alb again to dine.

The Ristorante is located very centrally in the town center, which makes it very easy to reach on foot. The waiters are very friendly and offer advice from A to Z. In terms of price, food and drinks are rather average. The beer from our own house is highly recommended. The ambience allows you to linger for a long time. A table reservation is recommended.

Just completely happy. Despite all the people, everyone in the service department was always open to requests. They were fulfilled as quickly as possible. All I can say is thank you...

Wonderful Alpine atmosphere. However, the food still leaves something to be desired. The sauce for the onion roast was too salty and the fried potatoes were seasoned with too much pepper. The spaetzle and the Jägertopf were excellent.

Had a good meal at reasonable prices, but there is still room for improvement. A free side salad would be welcome with the main courses. The draft beer was very well maintained, but I have to deduct a point because of the beer glasses with some of the heavily washed out prints. There is an additional deduction of 1 point because of the management's caustic comments on negative comments.

Very nice restaurant with very good food and very friendly service. The only small drawback is the parking situation. If you dare to park in the very narrow parking garage and manage to get out of the parking space without any damage, it only becomes really exciting when you pay afterwards. It would make sense if the newly introduced payment system were also known to the employees, as guests without a smartphone or when using the payment process for the first time will certainly have to answer questions. But all in all, a visit to Paulas Alp is recommended.
