Lovely rustic Greek restaurant. We were just passing through Zeven, but we really liked it. Very reasonable prices for these days. A regular meal for around €15 is quite reasonable. Of course, there are also more expensive dishes.

A must for anyone who wants delicious, excellent food at a reasonable price! Highly recommended!

We love coming to the Parthenon Restaurant. We especially enjoy the excellent buffet on Wednesdays. The food is truly amazing, and the service is always plentiful. Despite being very busy, we spontaneously got a table for two. Very friendly and quick service. The food was top-notch. The price/performance ratio was excellent!

Good Greek restaurant with a special gyro menu on Mondays. They also serve many other typical dishes. It is, or rather was, well-attended. However, the food is very heavily seasoned (salted), in my opinion. It's tasty, but the night was dominated by drinking, drinking, drinking, going to the bathroom, drinking... so it's a deduction. The quality was good. The service was friendly.

Absolutely not a recommendation! The food was okay, I don't want to make it sound worse than it was. The ambiance could be improved. It's arbitrary and certainly not Greek. My main criticism, however, is the service. When ordering, I asked if I could swap the liver that came with the dish (No. 10) for a different type of meat. The waitress explained that I would have to pay the price difference and an undisclosed change fee. I've never encountered such a fee before, and it's certainly not customer-oriented. In the end, two of my companions ordered the same cocktail. They tasted like a mixture of two fruit juices. The alcohol was undetectable. My friend offered the current waiter the chance to try the cocktail, which he did. He admitted that the cocktail tasted as if the alcohol had been forgotten during preparation. Instead of offering a new drink, reducing the price, or not charging us for the drinks at all, he simply presented the bill and left us to pay. Then go to a snack bar for a fraction of the price.

Highly recommended was the Women's Day, which takes place every Thursday at this restaurant, with its great offers for women. We felt very comfortable and the food was excellent, thank you very much.

Authentic Greek buffet – highly recommended! This was my first time at the Parthenon and I tried the Greek buffet – and I was absolutely thrilled! The selection was large, fresh, and lovingly prepared. From classic gyros, souvlaki, and tzatziki to vegetarian dishes and fresh salads, there was everything. I particularly enjoyed the tomato rice with chicken teriyaki and the baked white cheese. The staff was super friendly, attentive, and regularly refilled the buffet, ensuring it was always full and appetizing. The atmosphere was also pleasant – cozy, clean, and with a touch of Greece. The value for money is absolutely spot on. If you love Greek food or just want to try different dishes, the Parthenon is the place for you. I'll definitely be back!

What can we do if some customers supposedly forgot their food? ...and what kind of logic is that?? And then €1 for the cheap Styrofoam packaging!? Not aluminum or anything like that. Unfortunately the quality of the meat is decreasing but the prices are getting more expensive.. I had the Dodoni plate, the bifteki had cartilage in the meat and the gyros was way too fatty.. It hasn't happened for the first time either but has happened several times.

Cozy Greek restaurant on the edge of Zeven. In addition to a few parking spaces on the street, there are other options behind the house. However, the access is a bit narrow. The menu is quite extensive and there should be something for everyone. I had the lamb fillet with vegetables in a light Metaxa sauce. We also ordered tzatziki with bread. The tzatziki was well seasoned and the bread is highly recommended. Warm, fluffy, delicious. Many main courses come with a small salad, which you put together yourself at the salad bar. Cabbage/iceberg lettuce, tomatoes... There are 2 dressings to choose from, the yoghurt dressing with herbs is very tasty. The two pieces of lamb fillet were cooked through without being tough, the vegetables were slightly al dente, and the sauce had a nice consistency. Very good craftsmanship. The portion was large enough and, at €19.50, inexpensive for today's times. The service was good, nothing to complain about. Let's come to the only negative part that causes a star deduction when it comes to food. For the dessert “Greek yogurt with fruit and honey” the canned fruit cocktail is used instead of the fruit. That doesn't fit into the otherwise very good result. Conclusion: one of the best Greek restaurants I know. You should reserve a table, especially on weekends. If you just want to try something out, you can do so at the buffet on Wednesdays

Absolute catastrophe yesterday - I didn't let anything else come to the store, but what was taken away yesterday was an absolute no go! The party room was rented out twice, i.e. for two companies and their Christmas parties. Instead of trying to make amends for our own mistakes, we felt unwelcome and pushed away as guests, not only that our group was divided into two rooms, no, the tone of some of the employees was outrageous, a beer mat of 10 cm was given slammed on the table at a distance, almost all drink orders had to be made several times so that you could get something to drink, hardly anyone came to the table, almost all the waitresses were inattentive, sometimes we as guests had to go to the counter to order to give up. Then at some point the drinks came, but there were no short ones. When asked about this, it was more important to the staff to toast each other than to bring us the missing drinks. It's a shame, this has been our favorite place for years, but after yesterday's performance we'll probably have to look elsewhere, but it won't bother the operators, the impression that there's no longer any need to satisfy customers was unmistakably proven to us over the hours yesterday. ...

We had registered for a company party. The date and room for the celebration were arranged and booked in person in advance in the restaurant. The week in which the celebration was supposed to take place, we were there again and agreed on the final number of people and the food. When the time came and we arrived, the agreed room was occupied and we were supposed to sit in the normal guest room. A long L-shaped table on one side of which a bench on the wall should serve as seating. (For 26 people) Very adventurous if someone wanted to go to the toilet on the bank side. Everyone had to stand up. When we expressed our displeasure at the beginning, we were treated very harshly by the waitress. At first it was said that it would be our problem if there were more of us. We weren't! When we said that not everyone could fit at the table, another table was added to the L. Then the options were exhausted and it wasn't enough. Ultimately, 4 people were able to find space in the other area of ​​the dining room. It's just unfortunate, at a company party... Well, okay. It can happen, but the way they tried to correct the error was very unprofessional and unfortunate. But it didn't get any better. The food came very slowly and drinks often took a long time to arrive or didn't come at all. The failure to clear them away was humorously commented on: "Oh, let's clear away the glasses, otherwise it will look so drunk." During a round of ouzo that was handed out, some girls wanted to have two different shots each. According to the service, that didn't work! Just one drink! I'm just wondering who actually paid for the bum? Us or the waitress? There are various other examples such as the dessert, the friendliness of the service, waiters who turned up their noses when they brought food, etc. When we asked at the end how they could accommodate us, as the evening had been very unfortunate, there was no insight into this. It was still said, “We tried hard!” NO YOU didn't! The food tasted good as always! But we didn't realize that effort was being made! There was then a voucher for what I think was a low amount, considering how much money the evening made with 26 people... The quality of the food is not always the same

Went there last weekend and got a nice spot on the outside terrace. Food was delicious, starter and main course came quickly after ordering. Service also very attentive. But there is one small point that went wrong. If you offer cocktails with alcohol for over 8 euros, firstly you should be able to taste it and secondly, a "Sex on the Beach" has nothing to do with putting several juices in the shaker and then mixing them, but rather the ingredients are multi-colored on top of each other. A little practice and it will work. Oh yes for dog lovers, you can only sit at the front of the outdoor area with dogs, so in the cold season "dogs not welcome"

We stopped by here by chance and didn't have any great expectations... However, these were definitely exceeded! We sat outside, although it is right on a busy street, but you wouldn't notice it! When you look around outside, you actually only see a lot of greenery and the noise level was very low! The food was great, the meat tasted very good and, above all, it was fresh and tender... You could get your own salad from the buffet... The side dish, rice, was completely different than in other restaurants, it tasted perfect, not boring and stale, but simply good and delicious! Starter, pepperoni in garlic and desert fruit in honey with cinnamon, also really met our taste...!

It's nice to watch "tekla" spin her web, but not in a restaurant...we'll be happy to come back as soon as my garlic level has reduced. Price performance is ok. On April 26, 24 I ordered food by phone. The food was good, but every main course would have had a salad, but only one salad was delivered. The half liter of red wine only made up for it slightly. I recommend sticking with grilled dishes. I can really recommend them. Parthenon remains one of the best Greek places around. However, the last two orders in the last few months have not been as tasty as usual. Maybe the chef was replaced? Mousakka and Pastizio are unspectacular. Pastizio was actually very bland and boring in my opinion. In addition, the cheese was completely missing. Was really disappointed with both dishes. Hence a star deduction.

Delicious Greek food highly recommended

We were in the restaurant on Friday, January 29th, 2023. The lamps above our table were broken and we illuminated the cards with a cell phone lamp. After the drinks were delivered, the waitress tipped my first drink over on the table, but the wet blanket was not replaced. Later I ordered another Coke, which was then tipped over and now it hit my pants and the table a second time. Nothing was cleaned. Everything was wet, including me. My meat steak was supposed to be medium rare, but it wasn't. When I paid, I said it all again. But there was no reaction from the waiter Not even an ouzo.

Wir hatten uns soooo darauf gefreut, aber dann: Wir haben das Restaurant gegen 18 Uhr betreten und wurden freundlich zu unserem Tisch geführt. Nachdem wir unsere Wintejacken ausgezogen und uns hingesetzt hatten, fiel es uns wie Schuppen von den Augen. Es war eiskalt! Fühlte sich an wie 10 Grad. Wir schauten uns um und stellten fest, dass die anderen Gäste uberwiegend dicke Pullover trugen, nicht grundlos! Ich habe meiner Frau, die ihre schöne langärmelige Bluse trug, dann meine Strickjacke gegeben. Es war trotzdem sehr kalt! Nun zu unserem Tisch für 2 Personen. Unmittelbar daneben, also mit 10cm Abstand war eine Wandgarderobe. Super! Gäste brachten ihre Jacken dorthin bzw. holten diese dort ab. Dabei kamen diese Gäste meiner rechten Tischseite dermaßen nahe, dass sie mich an der Schulter berühren mussten. Alles viel zu eng! Auf der linken Seite meiner mir gegenüber sitzenden Frau befand sich die Getränketheke für die Servicekräfte. Auch unmittelbar neben ihr. Viel zu nah um sich wohlfühlen zu können. Und dann kam das Essen. Ich kürze mal ab. Trocken, geschmacklos und lieblos zubereitet. Na ja, schade drum. Es gibt ja noch andere Griechen.

Griechisches Buffet??? Noch nie gehört, muss also probiert werden. Sehr große Auswahl, frisch zubereitet und sehr lecker. Mein Tip: gebratene Leber und Rosenkohl in Currysosse.

Hier kann man sehr lecker essen. Die Bedienung ist sehr gut und nett. Da das Restaurant am Freitag sehr gut besucht war, war es ein wenig unruhig. Dieses hat uns aber nicht besonders gestört.

Höhere Preise, kleinere Portionen

Wir hatten das Tischbuffet gewählt und waren mit den verschiedenen Vorspeisen sehr zufrieden. Auch die Hauptspeisen waren außerordentlich gut 👍.

Seit Jahren geht unsere Familie immer wieder gerne dort essen, auch ich lade meine Familie jedes Jahr dort zu meinem Geburtstag ein. Dieses Jahr am 31. August, war das Essen miserabel, zu trocken, Giros zu groß geschnitten. Es schmeckte niemanden von meinen Gästen, wir haben ein paar Happen genommen, haben bezahlt und sind gegangen. Es war das letzte Mal, dass wir dort waren.

Es war sehr voll. Trotz Vorbestellung war kein Tisch frei, war aber noch ok. Essen sehr gut und trotz Vollheit, kam das Essen sehr schnell.

Top Qualität bei den Speisen, schön das man sich den Salat selbst zusammenstellen kann. Nette und aufmerksame Bedienungen.

Essen gut , ich habe bestellt, aber was ich unverschämt finde , ist wenn mann etwas verändert haben möchte das Sie für jeder einzelne Änderung 1,50 Euro fragen warum? Ich verlange nicht mehr essen aber eine Änderung z.B kein reis aber Pommes sowas verstehe ich nicht. Habe ich noch nie irgendwo anders erlebt .

Ich bin kein Freund von schlechten Bewertungen, allerdings muss ich dieses einmal loswerden: Vor knapp einem halben Jahr hatten mein Mann und ich Essen im Parthenon abgeholt und zu Hause festgestellt, das beim vegetarischen Gericht die Hälfte fehlt. Daraufhin haben wir direkt im Restaurant angerufen und zugesagt bekommen, das wir bei der nächsten Bestellung dieses Gericht um sonst bekommen. Gestern Abend haben wir erneut Essen abgeholt und den Vorfall von vor einem halben Jahr angesprochen, worauf der Inhaber Verständnislos reagierte, uns aber eine Portion gebratene Peperoni gratis mitgegeben hat. Zu Hause dann die Enttäuschung: eine Hand voll trockenes, lieblos reingepacktes Gemüse, ein wenig Reis, ein Stückchen gebackener Schafskäse und ein trockenes Etwas von vielleicht Kartoffel- und Blumenkohlplätzchen?! Der Salat war noch das Beste an dem Gericht für sage und schreibe 14,50€!!!! Ich kann nur etwas zu dem vegetarischen Gericht sagen, mag sein das alle anderen Gerichte schmecken, doch an der Freundlichkeit des Inhabers und an diesem Gericht darf gerne gearbeitet werden. Ich lasse mich gerne eines besseren belehren, doch für mich siegt hier ganz klar die Konkurrenz mit Freundlichkeit und leckerem Essen mit angemessenen Preisen.
