I had a cordon bleu. It was juicy and tasty. Unfortunately the menu couldn't be found online. But it's worth going anyway, the selection is quite large and the prices are reasonable. Clear recommendation.

**Review of the Parkklause in Mönchengladbach** The Parkklause in Mönchengladbach, also known locally as “Scheres”, is more than just a pub – it is a piece of local history. Founded in the late 1960s by Manni and Helga Scherers, the pub was later lovingly run by their daughter Petra. This pub has many stories to tell, especially about the times when the legendary “Foals” from Borussia Mönchengladbach frequented here. Greats like Vogts, Netzer and Jupp Heynckes, as well as prominent guests such as player agent Norbert Pflippen with his protégés, including Henry Maske and Heike Drechsler, found a place of hospitality and well-being here, cared for by Manni and Helga. Today the Parkklause is known as “the most beautiful off-site location on the left Lower Rhine” and remains a place where tradition is not only preserved, but lived. Here you don't just get a well-kept Pils, but also culinary classics such as the best fried potatoes with rump steak or, on Tuesdays, the traditional potato pancakes - just like before. The atmosphere in the Parkklause is consistently inviting, with a deep, almost familial connection that both long-time residents and new guests sense immediately. It is a place where you feel not just a guest, but part of a big family. A rating of five points almost seems too low for the warm feeling of “coming home” that is offered here. A big thank you to Petra and Helga, who care for this special heritage with so much love and dedication. Anyone who stops by the Parkklause leaves with a smile and the wish to come back soon.

Just an old pub, seniors' meeting place, old customers, the landlady's dog......!!!!! Not recommended !!!!!! Good food, good cook that keeps the place going....cook from the Balkans....

Unfortunately, we fell for the term “restaurant”. It was simply a pub and we felt that too. The food was too expensive but still good. The service was poor but friendly. Overall a good pub, but nothing more.

Immer wieder gut. Ob zum Essen oder nur für ein (oder zwei) Bierchen. Hier ist man willkommen und das Personal und Chefin Petra haben immer gute Laune.

Ich war mit meinem Vater hier Vater Sohn Abend. Ein klassisches altes gutbürgerliches deutsches Lokal. Mit Borussia TV! Das hat mir super. Es gab Schnitzel und Roastbeef mit allerlei Beilagen Salat und Getränken Bier! Superladen und gerne wieder.

Urige gemütliche Kneipe im Herzen der Stadt...hier kann man gut essen oder aber ein Bierchen trinken, bei Bundesliga-Übertragung ist es meist etwas voller und dennoch muss man hier nicht auf sein Getränk lange warten

"Gans-to-go" war super lecker und toll organisiert! Das Essen wurde sorgsam in unsere mitgebrachten Gefäße verpackt, schnell nach hause gefahren und kam direkt auf den Tisch! Ein (fast) perfektes Gänseessen, denn bei Petra wäre es NOCH schöner gewesen!
