A beautiful, spacious restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and home-style cooking. Since everything is on one level, it's also suitable for seniors and those with limited mobility. The menu is quite varied. The prices are reasonable. The grilled pork knuckle is highly recommended. It's open all day, so you can easily move on from lunch to coffee. If they have homemade cake, be sure to try it! The filter coffee is also very good. All in all, a lovely restaurant.

We went to the restaurant today for dinner. To be honest, the food was cold and the tongue was overcooked; you wouldn't serve that kind of food. The vegetables were frozen and hard. Not recommended.

I only went in for a beer, so I can't comment on the food, other than that it looked and smelled good 😄 The service was always friendly and attentive. The tables outside are well spaced (not too close together like you'd find at other restaurants). There are plenty of places to sit inside. There are two restrooms, one of which has a changing table.

We went there as a group for dinner. Everything was great. Delicious food and great service.

We weren't greeted. After 10 minutes, we got our own menus and asked if we could place our order. Another 10 minutes later, the waiter came to the table next to us, who had just sat down, and took our order. We didn't even get a "hello." Absolutely outrageous.

We visited this beautiful garden restaurant for the first time yesterday, and definitely won't be the last. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and incredibly delicious. The service was very warm and attentive. All in all, a fantastic experience. Perfect for a little getaway! We were very impressed and will definitely come back.

I think this review is definitely helpful for guests and the restaurant. After a long time, I went out to eat again, and I wasn't blown away. The interior was very stuffy; there was no ventilation or air conditioning. I think the food should be avoided. It comes from the freezer and isn't particularly well prepared. The peas were far too hard, too floury, and far too dry. I've had lovely, soft peas steamed and nicely tossed in butter. The portions were relatively small, appropriate for the price. The rest of the space was filled with vegetables. Unfortunately, I had more peas on my plate than fries or meat. It's a shame; I was looking forward to it. We used to go there often, and I think the food was better. This is my opinion of the visit; please form your own.

Good, rustic restaurant near the city park. Good selection on the menu. Prices are perfectly reasonable. Unfortunately, service is sometimes a bit inattentive. (I was simply forgotten, and after 15 minutes, someone came by and asked me.) Unfortunately, the food is only moderately good. Not bad, but neither special nor inviting enough to make me want to come back. There's still a lot of room for improvement here. No credit card payments accepted. EC card payments starting at €15.

The waiters and waitress were all very nice and the boss was also very nice. She helped us a lot with organizing the youth consecration. We had the winter garden which was a lot of space. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

We've been there several times, The service has always been friendly! The food today wasn't really perfect, although not bad. The shepherd's cheese tasted completely like lemon. Totally inappropriate. The dressing killed the salad. The food “Matscheibe” could also be improved. The bread was nothing, rather cheap and tasteless like from the big bakery... and the sauce came with it from the bag (at least in terms of taste) apart from that, there is nothing about sauce in the order!! And when the plate was placed on the table, the bread was completely soggy and floating in the brown sauce. You could do better! Use good bread, e.g. nice with a crust and offer the gravy in a gravy boat.

Unfortunately, despite announcing it several months in advance, they couldn't manage to offer anything vegan; the lady on the phone didn't even know that fries were vegan. We were allowed to bring our own food to the family celebration. At least we got preheated plates...

Kann die letzten Bewertungen leider nur bestätigen. Alles nur noch Fertigkost aus Frost und Tüte. Die Vorsuppe war mit künstlichen Aromen total überwürzt. An den Saucen aus dem Tetrapack wurde auch gespart, so das die Kartoffelspalten dann trocken gegessen werden mussten. Wir kommen nicht wieder.

Am 25.12.2024 bestellter wir zu Mittag einen Hirschgulasch mit Klösen und Rotkohl (fast 17,00€). Bekommen haben wir Klöse (Industrielle gefertigt) mit einer breiartiger Saucenbindung, mit jeder Menge Stockchen (oder ähnliche Pilze) sowie 2 bis 4 Stücke Hirsch-Fleisch-Würfel. Nach Reklamation bekamen wir eine kleine Schale mit etwas mehr Fleischstücke aber mit gleicher fragwürdiger Qualität. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, aber der Koch ist als solcher unbrauchbar.

We went to the Rosarium without a reservation. All places were occupied, but a tour group did not show up at the agreed time. We were lucky enough to be able to sit at this table. After a short time our order was on the table. It was lovingly prepared and very tasty. The service was very attentive, friendly and quick. The price-performance ratio is ok. It was a successful evening and we will definitely be back. But next time with a reservation. 😊

Once again we decided to visit and had lunch just as happily. Very friendly service, food fresh, fast and good. Everything is just tip top. This is how Christmas time is fun.

I was surprised by the small restaurant. Good service, good, rich food, clear menu and nicely decorated. If you're really hungry, I recommend the pork knuckle. I liked it very much, the only thing I didn't like was the mustard, I prefer the Esina mustard. But that's a matter of taste. In any case, I'll come over for dinner with the family.

Great little restaurant on the outskirts of Chemnitz, in a quiet location, It's a wonderful place to sit and the food, very inexpensive and filling, also tastes very good, friendly service. And now during Advent there are arches in the windows everywhere, which looks great. Always worth a visit

Servicepersonal freundlich, Essen eine Katastrophe!!! Vorgegarte Kartoffeln aus der Tüte, Gemüse ohne Butter, graues, alt schmeckendes Fleisch....zum Preis von knapp 19€. Als serviert wurde, hätte man am liebsten diese lustlosen angerichteten Teller gleich wieder zurück gegeben. Auf meine Beschwerde hin entschuldigte sich die Kellnerin und nahm das Essen von der Rechnung. Ich war trotzdem stinke sauer, nach einen langen Arbeitstag und 40km Fahrt hatte ich Hunger und mich auf einen schönen Abend gefreut. Das versprochene Eis aus der Kinderkarte gab es für die Jungs auch nicht. Ich bin der Meinung das man für diesen Preis frische Ware anbieten sollte und nicht nur Fertigprodukte aus der Tüte bzw.TK verkaufen sollte. Ich werde mit Sicherheit kein Gast mehr in ihrem Haus sein.

Perfect for feeling good and enjoying yourself

As long-time guests of the Rosarium, we were extremely disappointed with the service this weekend. A table was booked for 12 p.m. and it was supposed to be a nice celebration. The first time we were taken aback was when, after 40 minutes, the food order was only taken upon explicit request. We had no idea that we wouldn't get our food until 1:50 p.m. Things got really interesting when we politely asked the waitress about the long wait. She was of the opinion that everything was ok and even brought the kitchen booking receipt to back it up. This waiting time is unreasonable and in no way compatible with the claims promised on the website. Training on how to deal with guests professionally would certainly not hurt the service staff. Mistakes happen everywhere and are forgivable. It depends on how you deal with it. Our interest in a next visit is muted. But everyone deserves a second chance. So, dear team, tighten up.

Were invited on the occasion of our 87th birthday and have enjoyed coming here many times. This time, however, for my parents and us, HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT IN OUR SERVICE! 12pm table orders 2pm food on the table. Not only were we constantly ignored and when we asked if SHE had forgotten us (guests/company coming after us had paid because we didn't even have the starters), she also became sulky and shoved the receipt under our noses that the order was placed at around 12.35 p.m . That's not how you treat guests. The food is really very good and so is the restaurant with a beer garden. Friendly staff make a visit perfect...so work on how you treat your guests.

I have to deduct a few stars. We had a larger party and had booked the winter garden. We didn't get this and the company was spread over 3 individual tables. That wasn't nice. Food was good and service, well, that's how it went.

Great service and great value for money

My parents' regular restaurant. Today I thought - why the Rosarium for a birthday party again?! But what can I say, the service was super nice and attentive, the food on offer was very good at a moderate price. Coffee, cake and ice cream in the afternoon as well as dinner (a la carte from fish to tongue, lamb to small dishes) were delicious. In addition, the location is simply great. Parking is no problem and the proximity of the city park is ideal for a digestive walk. Everyone had a great time - the most important thing about a celebration like this. So always happy.
