In this case, I have to go back very briefly: Personally, I let my pizza dough rise in the cellar at a hydration level of 75 percent for about 48 hours. I use flour from Cinque Stelle and Molino dalla Giovanna. I love and adore real Neapolitan pizza - airy, thick crust, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. I'm dying for that. That's why I'm lucky to have such a fantastic pizzeria like Paradiso da Carlo nearby. It is simply the best Neapolitan pizza in all of Regensburg and the surrounding area. Everything is perfect here: just the smell of the dough indicates perfect fermentation. The pizza is crispy on the edge, fluffy and juicy inside the edge, and has a perfect base that puts the toppings in the foreground. In short: I'm getting hungry again and have to go back there with the family for the week. The ambience is very classic, the service is always friendly and attentive - but the highlight is this masterful pizza. If you don't believe it: go and be happy!

I have lived in Regensburg for over 10 years and regularly complain that there is no good pizza in Regensburg - from now on no more! Super delicious pizza - really Italian and typical! I'm a regular customer from now on!

Without a doubt the best pizza in Regensburg. You will never be disappointed if you choose Paradiso. The owner Carlo is super competent, professional and friendly. The service is nice and friendly and attentive. The food is really delicious. The pizzas are much, much better than other pizza restaurants. If you feel like pizza, definitely always here.

No recommendation! Don't understand the good reviews here. We went because my daughter (6 years old) has a gluten intolerance and we found out via Google that the restaurant also offers gluten-free dishes. 16 euros for a plate of gluten free penne without sauce (some butter and parmesan) for a 6 year old child. Waited a long time, even though the restaurant was a third full and all the guests had already had their food. Food wasn't brought at the same time. My side salad was forgotten. My plate of Spaghetti Alio e Oglio was a children's portion.

A real insider tip - the restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside, which is a challenge, especially given its location on a busy street. The food was first class and the prices were completely reasonable. The service was very courteous and friendly. I can warmly recommend that. (We had classic pizzas)

Went there for the first time recently and it was absolutely worth it. From the service to the food, everything was really great! Had four pizzas, they were all extremely tasty, especially the fluffy dough. The mixed salad also had a special touch and was varied. Typical Italian and high-quality products are still used here! Also highly recommended for vegetarians and vegans (specially marked page with a large selection of vegan dishes). Friendly and discreet service, including a (very tasty!) limoncello on the house when paying (where else can you get that today?). The price is absolutely fair for the high quality of the food. The espresso/ristretto is also highly recommended. It's a shame that we didn't know the restaurant before, we will definitely come more often. We haven't had such delicious pizza in Regensburg for a long time!

Great little pizzeria. Very tastefully decorated. Pizzas and rigatoni very good. Salad was excellently prepared. The “service cube” at the table is a great idea! Staff very friendly and accommodating! Dachshund also got water straight away 🥰

Reply to owner's comment: Apparently they seem to have this problem there more often, because they just confused me. 1. The order was picked up by a man (thus trying to pick it up). 2. There wasn't a show either, I stood there for 15 minutes and then asked a single question and was then barked at aggressively and arrogantly. 3. First of all, I was greeted by a very friendly and polite man, tall, gray hair, he was extremely nice. I guess the boss. The unpleasant situation was with another waiter, darker hair. 4. Since I was approached like that, I said in a polite tone that they could keep the order, whereupon the waiter just grinned, nodded and said "ok". Then I left. 5. It's a bit strange to write in a public feedback response: "It was the boss and not some waiter," as if the boss were something better. This shows their view of humanity and suggests how they interact with people. And finally you can say that dealing with criticism is just as unprofessional as the situation in the store. Original review: The rating refers to the hospitality and the treatment of guests. We were introduced to this restaurant as vegans because they offer a large selection of vegan dishes. We ordered by phone at 6pm and asked for it to be prepared for 7pm, which supposedly wasn't a problem. When I arrived at 7pm to collect my order I was told it would take another 2-3 minutes. Nevertheless, I stood there for fifteen minutes without any further information. When I finally asked, I was told in a condescending tone that they also had other orders and the waiter was visibly annoyed with me. Even though the store wasn't full and we had called an hour earlier, our order was apparently forgotten, which is not an issue. The way this was handled was all along the lines of "what do you want?", acting as if the order was ready when it was actually forgotten, rather than communicating openly. A more professional approach would have been to offer us something to drink while we waited and apologize for the mishap. I then left the store and will never enter it again.

We went to this place this evening, let's say I was a little skeptical initially being from Naples... But we immediately changed our minds, everything was delicious! I recommend it😊

Were here for the first time. Very good pizza dough. It's great that there is a children's menu. Rigatoni Napoli were good. The sauce could be a little spicier and more flavorful. The panna cotta was very good, not too thick but nice and creamy. Everyone in service was very nice. It's nice that Italian is spoken.

I was looking for the perfect pizza for a long time, I was disappointed many times - but I found it here! The best in a long time. Go and try it, it's worth it! By the way, lasagne too. The vegetarian selection is also very good here.

Essen war sehr schön angerichtet, geschmacklich gut, hätten uns aber für die guten Bewertungen im Internet um einiges besser vorgestellt. Leider kamen unsere Speisen auch sehr versetzt (mit 20 Minuten Unterschied).

Das beste Restaurant in Regensburg! Das Essen eine 10 von 10! 5 Sterne !!!! So lecker, nette Bedienungen und ich habe mich rundum wohl gefühlt. Immer wieder gerne. ☆☆☆☆☆!

Wir waren gestern als Gruppe von 9 Personen und zwei Kindern dort und wurden erstmal mit einer Riesen Auswahl an Vorspeise überrascht 😯😍 das Essen kam für alle gleichzeitig und war trotzdem noch schön heiß, die Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Es war soooo lecker und hat obendrein auch noch ganz toll ausgesehen! vielen Dank für den schönen Abend

Toller Italiener mit hausgemachter Pasta - mega lecker. Hatte die Pasta mit Hähnchenbrust in Gorgonzola. Wirklich großartig. Nachtisch ein cremig leckeres Tiramisu. Service super. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder.

Leckere vegane Pizzen und Pasta

Update [Sep'23]: Preise wurden scheinbar wieder nach unten korrigiert. Haben gestern für 4 Pizzen 55€ gezahlt. Pizza nach wie vor sehr lecker Update [Apr'23]: die Preise nach der Erhöhung gehen gar nicht! ~15€ für eine Standard-Pizza und 22€ für Pizza mit Scampi oder Parmaschinken... Haben uns beim letzten Mal dagegen entschieden Vor einigen Monaten haben wir mal eine Pizza zum Mitnehmen bestellt -> sehr lecker und genau so wie sie sein soll Außerdem schlau: zwischen Pizza und Karton war eine Lage Backpapier sodass der Karton nicht durchweicht.

Tolle vegane Pizzas. (z.B. Panton Vegana) Leider keine veganen Desserts. Meist findet man hier immer einen platz. Guter Preis. Gut erreichbar.

Waren heute Mittag im Paradiso. Guter Service, die Pizzas waren mega lecker! Sowohl der Teig als auch der Belag waren Spitze. Man sitzt schön und ruhig im Innenhof und das direkt am Arnulfsplatz!!! Sehr empfehlenswert!!!

Wait staff reasonably friendly. Pizza cook incredibly slow Seafood pizza and the small salad were good.. siciliana pizza with anchovies and olives was soggy and just tasted of salt. Wine was ok but overcharged for the white and also for the siciliana pizza.

Einer der ganz wenigen Italiener, der auch glutenfreie (gegen Aufpreis) UND vegane Alternativen anbietet. Der Pizzateig sollte einen Tag vorher bestellt werden, Nudeln sowie veganer Reibeschmelz sind wohl immer vorrätig. Die Pizza war sehr lecker, der Teig absolut fluffig und von den normalen Pizzen kaum zu unterscheiden. Der Service im Restaurant ist ausgesprochen aufmerksam, das Ambiente gemütlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder und wollen in Zukunft auch den Lieferservice ausprobieren.

Selten so eine gute Margherita gegessen. Die Lasagne sucht auch seines Gleichen. Ein echter Italiener eben. Einfach top. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Sehr sehr gut gefallen, das Essen. Tja das war vor 5 Jahren. Update 27.1.23: Entweder hat der Koch oder Pächter gewechselt - oder maximaler Sparzwang oder nur ein schlechter Tag? Die Pizza war nicht mehr gut, es schien als ob billigste Lebensmittel verarbeitet werden, fast kein Käse auf der Pizza, es waren sogar unkaubare Objekte dabei, die ich ausspucken musste.... insgesamt die Vorfreude wurde nicht belohnt, es war eine Enttäsuchung.. Kein Gaumenschmaus. Sehr schade...

Egal ob Pizzaklassiker, weiße Pizza oder einfach Pizzabrot, hier passt alles: Teig, Belag und Handwerk sind erstklassig! Wir haben so ziemlich jede Pizza in Regensburg "getestet" und können sagen: Die hier ist die beste. Aber damit nicht genug. Der Rest der Speisekarte ist ebenfalls wärmstens zu empfehlen, egal ob üppige Salate, Pasta al forno oder Fleischgerichte, alles sehr gut. Für jeden Fan der italienischen Küche ein unbedingtes Muss.

Paradiso da Carlo è un posto eccellente per chiunque voglia gustare un pranzo o una cena di altissima qualità. Consigliatissimo.
