Paradies Feinkost in Berlin

When I lived on Gneisenaustrasse 5 years ago, I ate this kebab 1-2 times a week for a few years. Now after this time I wanted to try it again, unfortunately big disappointment... You pay twice as much (6 instead of 3 euros), the kebab is much smaller. Less meat, less vegetables. Grilled vegetables are only based on potatoes, previously they also included carrots and other vegetables. Only sauces taste like they did back then. Generally gotten much worse. Very unfortunate...

I ordered a döner, and honestly, it was a huge letdown. The meat was dry and lacked flavor. The amount inside was shockingly little(almost half meat to compare to another Kebab shops)—the least I’ve ever had in my entire döner-buying experience! Absolute joke. Fun fact: I got my döner at 1:15 AM, and the place closes at 2 AM. No clue what he planned to do with all that meat he saved by not giving it to me —there was still a huge chunk left on the skewer. By food safety laws, he can't even serve it the next day. 😂🤦🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️ Grilled Vegetables? They call it "Gemüse Grill," but what I got was three tiny potato pieces and four microscopic carrot bits. Seriously?! Then there’s the hygiene issue. I watched the worker grab the cucumber-tomato mix with his bare hand and throw it into the salad tray. No gloves, no tongs, nothing. Dude, you just touched cash coins with those same hands! That’s just unacceptable. As you can see in the picture before eating, it speaks for itself. 🫠 Never coming back. Would not recommend. 👎

I came across it here by chance and it has become my absolute favorite kebab. By far the best kebab I've ever eaten anywhere!

Hmm well what can I say... well the meat was already pre-cut and looked like it had been there for a while - it was cold and definitely not freshly cut. The salad was okay, but the hot sauce was more like ketchup. The kebab itself was solid overall for the price of 5 euros, but absolutely inedible due to the cold meat. I had read the reviews before my visit and saw that they often reported rats: While I was standing at the counter and looking down, two rats scurried past. On the positive side, however, the staff is friendly and personable.

Doner Durum (chicken): Size very nice. Good load of meat, vegetables fresh. Meat spicy and tasty. Sauces are rather mild including "sharf" and could be more. Nice and friendly service. Minus - location and some... animals arround ;) called rats. Overall: 4.00/5.

Disrespectful and unreasonable workers. Dönebox completely stretched with limp fries. Instead of finding a friendly compromise together or at least making a new portion, there is discussion. It's outrageous to use the gestures like that. If I were his boss, he would be allowed to listen to something during the break. And that with 2 adults probably over 40.

Meat cold and hardly any taste Lots of small flies that bother you while you eat Besides, you're constantly being harassed in the kitchen because other people are washing up and staring at your plate the whole time. I haven't seen any rats running around outside at the entrance The flies are already lying on the cheese at the front of the counter Unfortunately, I didn't look at the review until I was eating. Attention, this was my regular kebab shop years ago. Unfortunately, rats come and go there. I also observed several times how little mice scurry through the open window... over the food! The health department should stop by. Hygiene is zero Very unfortunate 😞

The location is very good, as it is at the entrance of Ubahn. The food is good, but it would be nice if a little more attention was paid to cleanliness.

Have been here multiple times and can't confirm the bad reviews. Döner is always in the same quality, quite tasty and cheap compared to other places which makes it stand out from the competition imho. It is an honest, decent chicken döner and nothing crazy or special. I'd come again.

I also had food poisoning. That can't be true - why hasn't this dirty shop been shut down by the health department yet? We regularly see rats running around in front of the shop, the door is always open. This is really the last one.

5 times there, 5 times a unique taste experience. The kebab is fresh, the chicken is juicy and crispy. A culinary delight with the delicious sauces, grilled vegetables and (free) cheese.

Ich war schon oft dort essen und der Döner war mittelmäßig aber heute war es leider echt übertrieben. Das ,,gebratene Gemüse“ besteht aus einer Mischung ölmisshandelter Süßkartoffel - / Pommes. Wer also Lust hat gleich 100ml Bratöl zu trinken ist bei diesem Döner richtig. Der Salat war braun als hätte er diesen mit dem Dönerfett einmariniert. Die Tomaten waren weicher als Butter und die Gurken ähnelten der Konsistenz einer Marmelade. Das einzige was den Döner angehoben hätte war der Käse und die Soßen. Das Brot wurde 30 Sekunden getoastet und war dementsprechend labbrig. Der Käse war zwar großzügig, bringt halt aber auch nichts wenn der Rest unappetitlich ist. Schließlich würden wir ja auch nicht sagen : ,,Oh dieser Hundehaufen schmeckt jetzt aber gut weil da viel Käse drauf ist“. Damit sage ich natürlich nicht das der Döner besagtes ist. Zudem muss ich leider auch anmerken, dass der Wirth äußerst unfreundlich ist. Allem in allem wirklich schade. Die 4 Sterne sind meiner Meinung nach ungerechtfertigt und falls diese es einmal waren dann sind sie es leider nicht mehr. Diesem Laden würde man bloß nicht das Gesundheitsamt wünschen.

Essen ist qualitativ und quantitativ hochwertig und zu empfehlen; richtiges Dönerfleisch aus Hühnchen, keine glatte Pampe am Spieß. Service ist sehr Nett und flink. Laden steht mitten auf der Straße, daher ist die Ambiente persönlich besser einzuschätzen. 5/5 👍

Gestern einen Döner bestellt. Brot fad, scharfe Sauce kaum zu schmecken, Fleisch nur kurz aufgewärmt sodass es paar Minuten später wieder sehr kalt war. Generell ungutes Gefühl nach dem Essen. Wenn man Dönerboxen mit Pommes bestellt macht der Mitarbeiter nur Gemüse rein und sagt, dass Kartoffeln mit dabei sind. Früher sehr gerne hingegangen, gehe jetzt nicht mehr hin. 2 Sterne nur wegen Ambiente

Keine Ahnung was mit dem Hühnchen ist, aber es hat sich auf meinen Magen negativ ausgewirkt. Entweder nur Gemüse dort essen, sonst Finger weg.

eigentlich esse ich dort ganz gern. das werde ich in Zukunft vermeiden. als ich heute auf die Zubereitung meines Essens wartete, kam ein kleiner Junge mit 20 Cent in den Fingerchen und fragte ganz höflich, ob er bitte eine Tüte haben darf der Mann im Imbiss hat den armen Jungen richtig unangenehm angeschnautzt. fast geschrien: NEIN!!!. Wie kann man so zu einem Kind sein? ich werde dort ganz sicher nicht mehr Kunde sein. 🤬

Das Brot war ultra labbrig, das Chicken war unendlich kalt, die „scharfe“ soße schmeckt nach vergammelten Curry. 5€ haben sich da echt nicht gelohnt. Früher hab ich oft gern da gegessen, aber der neue fette Mitarbeiter übertreibt seine Lage komplett, richtig unhöflich ist er auch. Er hat so viel salz rauf gemacht, nach jedem biss hab ich gezuckt. Es war richtig mehlig. Den einen stern gibt es nur für die Jahre davor.

Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist bei dem Döner laden wirklich unglaublich gut alles sehr billig Döner und Dönerbox beides sehr lecker und ist wirklich empfehlenswert. Dönermann war sehr sympatisch.

Es mundet mir sehr. Dieser Götterschmaus hat mein Leben gezeichnet. Einfach herrlich und brilliant. Das Preis-Verhältnis war mehr als nur angepasst. Ich bin einfach nur bewundert und betroffen.

The Kebab store is amazing! Kebabs make for great late night food and they are open until 3am. The prices are very fair (ca 4 Euro) and the man who is there in the evening is always every friendly and open to chat while making your food!

Wollte eine Dönerbox ohne Pommes haben. Verkäufer fand meine Bestellung wohl frech oder kompliziert und hat mir gesagt ich soll verschwinden. War viele Jahre treuer Kunde. Jetzt nicht mehr.

Wenn ich mal wieder in Kreuzberg bin und mal nicht Sushi essen gehe, dann geh ich da immer Döner essen. Der Döner ist direkt an der U-Bahnstation und dementsprechend voll. Parken ist ne Katastrophe, aber das ist ja in Berlin nichts Neues, aber man findet in der Umgebung schnell mal was wo man kurz parken kann. Der Döner oder die Türkische Pizza ist immer wieder lecker, vor allem wegen dem frittiertem Gemüse. Für unterwegs eignet sich die Dönerbox.

Uns vier Leuten, drei Döner ein Dürüm, hat es sehr gut geschmeckt. 😁 Die Knoblauch Soße war mega und die scharfe Soße war nicht zu viel.

Sehr guter Döner für den Preis. Man merkt auf jeden Fall, dass das Gemüse frisch ist und es wurde alles vor meinen Augen zubereitet. Es schmeckt sehr selbstgemacht aber das macht es gleichzeitig zu einem Standartdöner. Für den Preis kriegt man einen leckeren Döner, auch wenn man woanders für einen höheren Preis mehr bekommt. Ich empfehle euch besonders vormittags hinzugehen, da dann der freundlichste Dönnermann überhaupt arbeitet mit dem man immer ein wenig reden kann Wenn man genauer hinschaut, dann sieht man das hier dasselbe Fleisch benutzt wird wie bei allen anderen Dönerladen, also keine Lebensmittelvergiftungsgefahr. Würde wieder hingehen, aber eher was für den kleinen Hunger :)

Einer der besten Döner, die es in Berlin gibt, auch wenn der Stand auf den ersten Blick vielleicht nicht danach aussieht. Die Speisen werden direkt vor dem Kunden zubereitet, wobei der das absolute Mitspracherecht hat und genau bestimmen kann, aus welchen und wievielen Zutaten diese bestehen sollen. Der Mitarbeiter ist sehr freundlich und aufgeschlossen.

Grauenhaft!! Der Dürüm war zwar lecker, aber mein Freund und ich haben uns beide eine Lebensmittelvergiftung zugezogen. Es war das einzige, was wir an dem Tag gemeinsam gegessen haben!! Nie wieder gehen wir dort hin! Magenschmerzen haben nach wie vor nicht aufgehört !!!

It's a disgrace to call this a kebab. Döner demeye bin şahit lazım. Harbiden utanmiyorsunuz değil mir böyle döner satmaya? Döner yediğime bin pişman ettiniz beni. Verdiğimiz 7 Euro'yu helal etmiyorum.

I strongly suggest you ignore the "tourist" reviews and go somewhere else for a nice döner. The food here is utterly tasteless and unhygienic.
