The worst experience i have had in a restaurant in my life. The waiters are super rude, no manners at all and super passive agressive. I ask for summer rolls and it was disgusting. When i ask for the sauce that should go with it, they give me sweet chilli, and they told me they needed to charge the sauce. I really don’t recommend this place at all. There are thousands of beautiful thai/vietnamise around muuuch better with beautiful waiters. Also super expensive

Authentic good food! Service is always friendly and helpful. The food is very good and the drinks also give you a Thailand feeling. I like to come here when I'm in a hurry and when I'm in the mood for authentic cuisine.

Horrible and bland pad thai. No apology given just reason why as if the paying customer has anything to do with poor kitchen staff. Close the restaurant if you cannot provide best quality food. Service seems like they would like to be somewhere else. Do not recommend

We really enjoyed our meals: crispy duck with red curry and their crispy duck specialty with vegetables. Portions were large, filling, and tasty. Restaurant was packed and a bit too loud, but there was not much you could do about that. Service was pretty good for the volume of people. Will be going back and trying more dishes here.

Incredibly delicious Thai food, very friendly and polite service. When the weather is good you have the opportunity to sit outside. Sufficient menu with typical dishes that are also quite well priced and the best Pad Wun Sen I've tried.

Very friendly service on site, we didn't have to make a reservation. The food prices were normal like other restaurants. The food was super tasty and arrived quickly. Everything seemed very fresh and clean.

The service was very poor, that's a pity because the food is really delicious and there's a wide choice of dishes. Guests have to be out of the restaurant at 22h sharp, the waitress was ice-cold, the quality of the service just doesn't match with the quality of the food!

It was a very nice dinner. We had Pad Thai, Pad Ki Mau and Nam Tok Nueah. All of the dishes were flavourful and well prepared and the portions were also quite generous. All in all, it was very nice.

Frische leckere Falafel Ich hatte einen Falafelteller, der frisch Zubereitet wurde. Dazu hab es einek Salat, Hummus, Pommes und Soßen. Alles war köstlich und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt.

Great experience in Papaya Thai cuisine. Delicious Pad Thai, highly recommended and not at all spicy (You have separate sauces if you like it to have a slightly spicier touch). Authentic Thai dishes are offered at a very good price-performance ratio. The service is quick and friendly.

As far as Food and value goes it’s a bit pricier in my opinion but it’s usually okay. I would recommend the tiger prawn stir fry. Also, their noodles are pretty good.

Ambiente piccolo ma curato e accogliente con la cucina a vista direttamente sulla sala. Menù vario e prezzi ottimi considerando le porzioni abbondanti servite. Avendo la cucina sulla sala però si esce dal ristorante con la puzza di fritto addosso, io consiglio magari una ventilazione più potente in modo da ridurre gli odori.

Wer schonmal in Thailand war wird von diesem Laden begeistert sein. Authentische Gerichte und authentischer Geschmack. Hatte vorneweg Tintenfischsalat (#9) den es leider nur noch selten gibt. Dieser war perfekt gewürzt und hatte eine angenehme Schärfe. Auch die thom kha gai (nr.18) war super abgeschmeckt. Leichte Note von Zitronengras und Kaffirblättern und abgerundet mit Fischsosse (vergessen viele andere Restaurants) Zum Hauptgang gab es dann Pad Med Momang sowohl mit Tofu als auch mit gebackenem Hähnchen. Auch hier super mit Gewürzen abgeschmeckt und von angenehmer Schärfe sowie priaw Wan (süss-sauer) mit Tofu. Entgegen anderen Asialäden war dies hier keine fertig süss-saure Sosse sondern frisch mit Ananas, Gurke, Paprika und Zwiebeln. Ich fühlte mich zurück nach Thailand versetzt und kann diesen Laden völlig begeistert nur weiterempfehlen. Es empfiehlt sich eine Reservierung da der Laden ab 7 immer richtig voll ist. Damit steigt leider auch der Geräuschpegel an. Der Service ist schnell, aufmerksam und freundlich, die Gerichte kommen sehr zügig und dampfend heiss. Mehr kulinarisches unter #weltenwanderin_bln

Good option in Boxi, the crunchy duck is super gooood, regular europe prices for thai food. Green curry was excellent. Service was fast on a sunday. The place has poor ventilation so you end up with oily smelling clothes.

Ich war hier essen weil es eine Empfehlung einer Freundin wahr und ich kann sagen es geschmeckt hier sehr gut. Der Personal ist sehr freundlich. Kartenzahlung ist ab 25 Euro möglich. Man hat die Möglichkeit draußen zu sitzen und im Restaurant drin. Ich würde hier wieder essen gehen.

Hatte Pad Kapao bestellt, kam ohne dem obligatorischen Spiegelei und ohne Basilikum! Das Essen war ansonsten sehr gut zubereitet und von hoher Qualität. Das nun aber genau die Zutat fehlt, die dem Gericht seinen Namen gibt, das geht gar nicht! Thai Basilikum hätte es notfalls auch getan.

Food was lovely and service was quick.

Popped in without a reservation and got a table for 4. We all enjoyed our meals so would recommend but even better to get a reservation at the weekend as this area is busy.

I really liked this restaurant. It’s quite small and modest but with a calming ambience. I liked that each table had flowers and a candle. I ordered the Gaeng Panang with tofu which was very flavoursome and quite spicy (which I like). The presentation was really good and everything tasted fresh. The banana smoothie was the perfect accompaniment! Would highly recommend this combination. The prices were also good. Would definitely visit again. :)

Trovato per caso mentre facevamo un giro ad un mercatino lì vicino. Consigliatissimo, dispone di un menù sia in inglese che in tedesco, gran varietà di piatti ed un’esperienza culinaria ottima. Personale gentile e cordiale, unica cosa da segnalare: non accettavano pagamenti elettronici.

Took classic PadThai for takeout lunch. Easy dish, 11€ incl. 0.50€ take away charge. I like cilantro on my PadThai. Traditional one as I learned today comes without. I insisted but got charged an extra 1,80€ for the garnish. Didn’t have to wait long but I‘d say the dish was average at best. Tofu was tasteless and the rest so so, certainly no epiphany. Because I paid 1,80€ extra of course they went very generous with the cilantro but in the end was too much. All in all no bad lunch but a bit overpriced for what I got.

Best Thai food I had in Berlin.

Delicious food presented with style. Will definitely come back. One small critique is the use of disposable wooden chopsticks packaged in plastic.

Sehr freundlicher Service. Lecker und zügig. Liebevolle Speisenpräsentation. Preis-Leistung komplett in Ordnung. Wir haben (Sonntags) direkt und kostenfrei vor der Tür geparkt. Uns hat es geschmeckt.

The food was quite average and a bit blend. The tofu was quite dry and it didn’t help that this dish had quite little sauce. I also ordered Thai milk tea which was surprisingly not that sweet (in a bad way). Service was ok. Hardly any smile but also not rude or impolite in any way. Being in such competitive location, I’m surprised it remains open for many years.

Sehr aufmerksamer und netter Service, die ganze Dorade (bereits ausgelöst) hat prima geschmeckt. Die Portion hat nach einer kleinen Vorspeise für zwei hungrige Mäuler gereicht. Sehr zu empfehlen!

La comida tiene poco sabor, pero lo compensan poniéndole mucho picante incluso a los platos que según la carta no son picantes. El servicio muy deficiente, la dueña una antipática. Nos pusieron a cinco personas en una mesa diminuta, y se negaron a dejarnos una silla más cuando quedaron algunas libres. Por la noche tuve que levantarme de la cama a tomar un Almax y por la mañana tenía el vientre suelto.

Amongst my favorite Thai restaurants in Berlin. Food is always fast and delicious. Service always on point. Pictured, the beef salad (yum nua), and the papaya salad with shrimp. I didn’t get the pad Thai this time but it’s a must order!

Das Essen war köstlich. Wir hatten beide ein spezial Gericht mit Ente (150 und 151) und wir können es einfach mur weiterempfehlen. Ich hatte selten so ein leckeres rotes Curry!

Ich war schon Mal 3 Wochen in Thailand mit meiner Ex-Frau die Thailänderin war, Sie konnte sehr gut kochen und ich muss sagen, dieses Restaurant ist sehr sehr gut, es ist Original Thailändische Küche mit sehr guter Qualität !!! Preis Leistung Stimmt total bei der Preislage, also alleine eine Papaya kostet 8€ mit Zubereitung und Cherry Tomaten usw da ist man schon bei 10€ Einkauf und man bekommt ihn hier Original Style für 12 Euro. Sehr gut besonders für Leute die scharfes gutes Essen lieben, ein muss der dieses Essen liebt. LG

Gehen seit Jahren dort essen, sind sehr zufrieden und haben schon einige Gerichte ausprobiert und alle für sehr gut empfunden. Auch die Getränke (Limonaden ) sind echt gut.

An unassuming front to this restaurant on an equally unassuming street, the first time I visited I thought they had left a 'reserved' sign on all of the outside tables by mistake. Having eaten here twice in a week, I understand why the tables were all reserved. The food is full of amazing flavours and fresh ingredients. A limited, but appropriate, selection of drinks and super friendly staff make visiting Papaya an unforgettable experience.

Null authentisch, ich war mit einer thailändischen Freundin da. Die Speisen sind süß und für einen oder eine Thai eine Zumutung. Wenn Europäer das als authentisch bewerten, ist es ein Schande und eine Beleidigung für die thailändische Küche. Insbesondere gehören in einen Papaya Salt nicht gefühlt 100gr Zucker.

Service sehr freundlich. Essen geschmacklos, Atmosphäre schrecklich, extrem laut, da der Raum komplett nackt war. Man kann sein eigenes Echo hören.

Ein kleines, feines und sauberes Restaurant mit offener Küche. Wer gerne bis sehr gerne thailändisch mag, ist hier genau richtig. Das Personal ist super freundlich, die Karte ist nicht überladen und wechselt wöchentlich. Die Portionen sind sättigend, die Preise angemessen. Cash und Kartenzahlung sind möglich. Fazit: Top Qualität, Top Bewirtung, ein wirklich empfehlenswerter Thailänder.

First time I was able to find my favorite Thai dish, khao soi, in Germany. It was amazing! The staff was really nice. My boyfriend had pad thai which was also very good. Would definitely recommend!

Super tolles Essen. Habe eine Tom Kha Gung mit Garnelen gegessen die fantastisch geschmeckt hat. Der Papaya Salat war auch gut, jedoch sehr scharf (wenn auch nur mit einer Peperoni gekennzeichnet).

Während man an der Einrichtung und dem Ambiente sicherlich so einiges verbessern könnte (allerdings ist es so im Vergleich mit Thailand auch authentischer), gibt es weder am Essen, noch am Service was auszusetzen! Mega gute Küche, schnell und lecker zubereitet und immer freundliches und aufmerksames Personal! Wir sind beruflich im Durchschnitt alle 8 Wochen für eine Woche in Berlin, da sind 1-2 Besuche im Papaya quasi Freude und Pflicht gleichermaßen!

The food is always for me personally the best Asia I have ever tried! Whenever i come to Berlin, i always visit them for lunch! - they always have flyers to give you Berlin latest activities & ideas! But be careful the Resturant takes a break from 4 pm to 5 pm - they close for their staff break 🙋🏻‍♀️

Small and modestly furnished room (why not hang the menu on a wall?). I got a vegetarian mix. The sauces were too cold, but the falafels have the advantage of not being frozen and being prepared on the spot. Very friendly staff.

Food is fine, service is not. We’ve been there a few times and usually it is ok. However this past time I went there with my girlfriend, we were pretty astonished the way one of the waitress talk to us. She came to get our order but my friend was not ready so we wanted a few more minutes. I wanted to order the Thai Milk Tea right then so she can bring it to us while we pick out the dishes. I wasn’t sure why but she rolled her eyes and said ok I know, Thai tea with lemon. I didn’t think much about it because the last couple of time I also just say Thai tea and would be able to get the one I want. She brought it out and it was the tea with lemon and no milk. So I said to her when she came back: hi, actually I wanted to get the one with the milk, is it ok if you put some milk in here for me. She looked at me and said that I ordered this one and if she give me milk I would have diarrhea (because of mixing lemon and milk). She wasn’t screaming or anything but you could sense this passive aggressive attitude in the way she talked. After that we don’t even bother to ask for anything else. At the end, another waitress that come and help us pack up was much nicer. Again, decent food though.
