Nice little quaint restaurant serving amazing Thai food. I was recommended this place by someone local in the area for good asian food. Servers speak English (I got by with a little German), portions will make you full, and the atmosphere/decoration of the place is very clean. Highly recommend giving it a try :)

The best Thai in Friedrichshain and in my opinion the best Asian cuisine in the Boxhagen neighborhood. You get delicious and authentic food here, I always like to come back. The service is very accommodating.

Authentic taste experience with friendly service I was there for lunch and absolutely loved the food. The duck in particular was excellent – ​​crispy, tender and perfectly seasoned. The dishes tasted authentic and reminded me of traditional Thai cuisine. The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive, which made the stay all the more pleasant. A place I highly recommend and will definitely visit again!

This place is a super sweet Thai place that serves really authentic and homey food. The staff was super kind and helpful. We had a tom yum soup and their crispy duck and it was amazing!

It's the second Thai restaurant I've eaten at after living in Germany for 4 years (disappointed from the first famous restaurant in Munich). I really wasn't disappointed. From the employees, everyone is lovely and smiling. Be polite and respectful to every customer at every table equally. The taste of the food is very delicious, authentic Thai style, not altered to the point of losing the taste. If the shopkeeper remembers I'm the person who goes in to eat before running a marathon. I intended to go back and eat again after the run was over but I couldn't drag my body. But I guarantee that next time I come back I will definitely stop by again. ❤️

Very tasty selection of dishes. Had lunch there yesterday, staff were very accommodating. When asked whether a dish could be had without garlic, people immediately asked whether there were any other inconveniences. Spicy tofu on the lunch menu was very good.

The worst experience i have had in a restaurant in my life. The waiters are super rude, no manners at all and super passive agressive. I ask for summer rolls and it was disgusting. When i ask for the sauce that should go with it, they give me sweet chilli, and they told me they needed to charge the sauce. I really don’t recommend this place at all. There are thousands of beautiful thai/vietnamise around muuuch better with beautiful waiters. Also super expensive

Authentic good food! Service is always friendly and helpful. The food is very good and the drinks also give you a Thailand feeling. I like to come here when I'm in a hurry and when I'm in the mood for authentic cuisine.

We really enjoyed our meals: crispy duck with red curry and their crispy duck specialty with vegetables. Portions were large, filling, and tasty. Restaurant was packed and a bit too loud, but there was not much you could do about that. Service was pretty good for the volume of people. Will be going back and trying more dishes here.

Very friendly service on site, we didn't have to make a reservation. The food prices were normal like other restaurants. The food was super tasty and arrived quickly. Everything seemed very fresh and clean.

The service was very poor, that's a pity because the food is really delicious and there's a wide choice of dishes. Guests have to be out of the restaurant at 22h sharp, the waitress was ice-cold, the quality of the service just doesn't match with the quality of the food!

It was a very nice dinner. We had Pad Thai, Pad Ki Mau and Nam Tok Nueah. All of the dishes were flavourful and well prepared and the portions were also quite generous. All in all, it was very nice.

Frische leckere Falafel Ich hatte einen Falafelteller, der frisch Zubereitet wurde. Dazu hab es einek Salat, Hummus, Pommes und Soßen. Alles war köstlich und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt.

Great experience in Papaya Thai cuisine. Delicious Pad Thai, highly recommended and not at all spicy (You have separate sauces if you like it to have a slightly spicier touch). As far as Food and value goes it’s a bit pricier in my opinion but it’s usually okay. I would recommend the tiger prawn stir fry. Also, their noodles are pretty good.

Ambiente piccolo ma curato e accogliente con la cucina a vista direttamente sulla sala. Menù vario e prezzi ottimi considerando le porzioni abbondanti servite. Avendo la cucina sulla sala però si esce dal ristorante con la puzza di fritto addosso, io consiglio magari una ventilazione più potente in modo da ridurre gli odori.

Wer schonmal in Thailand war wird von diesem Laden begeistert sein. Authentische Gerichte und authentischer Geschmack. Hatte vorneweg Tintenfischsalat (#9) den es leider nur noch selten gibt. Dieser war perfekt gewürzt und hatte eine angenehme Schärfe. Auch die thom kha gai (nr.18) war super abgeschmeckt. Leichte Note von Zitronengras und Kaffirblättern und abgerundet mit Fischsosse (vergessen viele andere Restaurants) Zum Hauptgang gab es dann Pad Med Momang sowohl mit Tofu als auch mit gebackenem Hähnchen. Auch hier super mit Gewürzen abgeschmeckt und von angenehmer Schärfe sowie priaw Wan (süss-sauer) mit Tofu. Entgegen anderen Asialäden war dies hier keine fertig süss-saure Sosse sondern frisch mit Ananas, Gurke, Paprika und Zwiebeln. Ich fühlte mich zurück nach Thailand versetzt und kann diesen Laden völlig begeistert nur weiterempfehlen. Es empfiehlt sich eine Reservierung da der Laden ab 7 immer richtig voll ist. Damit steigt leider auch der Geräuschpegel an. Der Service ist schnell, aufmerksam und freundlich, die Gerichte kommen sehr zügig und dampfend heiss. Mehr kulinarisches unter #weltenwanderin_bln

Good option in Boxi, the crunchy duck is super gooood, regular europe prices for thai food. Green curry was excellent. Service was fast on a sunday. The place has poor ventilation so you end up with oily smelling clothes.

Ich war hier essen weil es eine Empfehlung einer Freundin wahr und ich kann sagen es geschmeckt hier sehr gut. Der Personal ist sehr freundlich. Kartenzahlung ist ab 25 Euro möglich. Man hat die Möglichkeit draußen zu sitzen und im Restaurant drin. Ich würde hier wieder essen gehen.

Hatte Pad Kapao bestellt, kam ohne dem obligatorischen Spiegelei und ohne Basilikum! Das Essen war ansonsten sehr gut zubereitet und von hoher Qualität. Das nun aber genau die Zutat fehlt, die dem Gericht seinen Namen gibt, das geht gar nicht! Thai Basilikum hätte es notfalls auch getan.

Food was lovely and service was quick.

Popped in without a reservation and got a table for 4. We all enjoyed our meals so would recommend but even better to get a reservation at the weekend as this area is busy.

I really liked this restaurant. It’s quite small and modest but with a calming ambience. I liked that each table had flowers and a candle. I ordered the Gaeng Panang with tofu which was very flavoursome and quite spicy (which I like). The presentation was really good and everything tasted fresh. The banana smoothie was the perfect accompaniment! Would highly recommend this combination. The prices were also good. Would definitely visit again. :)

Trovato per caso mentre facevamo un giro ad un mercatino lì vicino. Consigliatissimo, dispone di un menù sia in inglese che in tedesco, gran varietà di piatti ed un’esperienza culinaria ottima. Personale gentile e cordiale, unica cosa da segnalare: non accettavano pagamenti elettronici.

Took classic PadThai for takeout lunch. Easy dish, 11€ incl. 0.50€ take away charge. I like cilantro on my PadThai. Traditional one as I learned today comes without. I insisted but got charged an extra 1,80€ for the garnish. Didn’t have to wait long but I‘d say the dish was average at best. Tofu was tasteless and the rest so so, certainly no epiphany. Because I paid 1,80€ extra of course they went very generous with the cilantro but in the end was too much. All in all no bad lunch but a bit overpriced for what I got.

Delicious food presented with style. Will definitely come back. One small critique is the use of disposable wooden chopsticks packaged in plastic.

Sehr freundlicher Service. Lecker und zügig. Liebevolle Speisenpräsentation. Preis-Leistung komplett in Ordnung. Wir haben (Sonntags) direkt und kostenfrei vor der Tür geparkt. Uns hat es geschmeckt.

The food was quite average and a bit blend. The tofu was quite dry and it didn’t help that this dish had quite little sauce. I also ordered Thai milk tea which was surprisingly not that sweet (in a bad way). Service was ok. Hardly any smile but also not rude or impolite in any way. Being in such competitive location, I’m surprised it remains open for many years.

Sehr aufmerksamer und netter Service, die ganze Dorade (bereits ausgelöst) hat prima geschmeckt. Die Portion hat nach einer kleinen Vorspeise für zwei hungrige Mäuler gereicht. Sehr zu empfehlen!

La comida tiene poco sabor, pero lo compensan poniéndole mucho picante incluso a los platos que según la carta no son picantes. El servicio muy deficiente, la dueña una antipática. Nos pusieron a cinco personas en una mesa diminuta, y se negaron a dejarnos una silla más cuando quedaron algunas libres. Por la noche tuve que levantarme de la cama a tomar un Almax y por la mañana tenía el vientre suelto.
