I had the opportunity to try their sushi and must say it was perfectly prepared—the fish and vegetables were fresh, and the rice was perfectly cooked. The roll selection is extensive, from classic maki rolls to more sophisticated options like Tiger Rolls and Rainbow Rolls. Importantly, the restaurant also offers many vegan and vegetarian options, which is a huge plus. The service is usually very friendly and helpful. It's also worth mentioning that Papami also offers takeout, a convenient alternative if you prefer to eat at home. The only minor downside is that the menu, especially regarding the vegan options, can be a bit confusing at times, but the staff is happy to explain everything. Overall, Papami is a great choice for a tasty lunch or dinner in Goch. The food is delicious, the menu is varied, and the atmosphere is conducive to a pleasant time. I highly recommend it, especially to fans of good sushi!

We happened to walk by here and it immediately looked lovely and cozy. The interior is unique and atmospheric. Even though we didn't have a reservation, we were seated right away. There's a wide selection on the menu, and the food was delicious, and everything was served quickly. The lady who helped us was very friendly and customer-focused. She even gave us advice on what we liked, which we really appreciated. The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. It's also nice that there are many vegetarian and fish options available. The website says there are halal dishes, but in reality, they only serve pork, so all other meat is not halal. That wasn't a problem for us, because the vegetarian and fish dishes were delicious. In short: highly recommended!

We used to enjoy coming to this restaurant a lot, but recently the food has deteriorated significantly. The dishes are either way too salty or barely edible. The chicken tastes very unpleasant and has a strange smell since they use some kind of yellow spice that you can see under the breadcrumbs – really not tasty. Furthermore, the dishes taste different every time; there has never been a time when they tasted the same. The fries are also always a problem – they have never been nice and yellow and fresh, but almost always made from old frying oil, which makes the meal unpleasant. The service also leaves a lot to be desired – you have to wait a very long time before you are even served, and you usually have to go up and ask yourself. The staff shout loudly throughout the restaurant and talk as if there were no customers present. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant at the moment. I hope this feedback will change things, because it used to be really nice and very tasty.

Definitely recommended. Always had good food there, and the prices were perfectly reasonable. No long wait. Eat in or takeaway. Parking available in the parking garage.

A quick conclusion beforehand: Guys, you can do better. Back to the basics... But let's start from the beginning. Have you been to this PapaMi restaurant many, many times? Authentic Asian food? A definite yes! Freshness? Definitely! Good sushi? Absolutely...experiences from numerous trips to Asia support this statement. Quality...well, that's probably where the rub lies today. To be fair, we've always been very satisfied. Whether it was lunch or dinner, the food was always amazing. Unfortunately, we didn't like the last three visits at all. The service at lunch was really slow. Sometimes we had to wait 15 minutes to be registered. That can happen when the place is packed, but not so likely with five guests. Despite the lunch menu with inexpensive dishes, it was only handed out after repeated inquiries. Generally, the regular menu was presented. No mention of the lunch menu...Hmmm, you can do that...you shouldn't. The quality of the food has felt like it's declined significantly. Unloved, bland in taste, and somehow different than usual. We have to say this clearly: folks, you can do better, we know that! A little "back to the roots" will boost your guests' enthusiasm, and you'll be spared the journey to Asian fast-food insignificance. Price-wise? Two adults, one child, two lunches, one kids' menu, two large Cokes, one small Sprite, 48 euros... wow, the Waldfeh... is running. But, since we know better, we'll be back in two or three months, just to be fair, and post a little update. Until then, for the reasons stated above, temporarily three stars...

The food is incredibly delicious and there's nothing to complain about, which is why I've eaten or ordered there three times in a very short space of time. BUT!!! The service is catastrophic. The first time I was there, I ordered, among other things, the vegetarian spring rolls, and repeatedly pointed out that we don't eat pork and should have the vegetarian ones, but in the end we got the pork ones, which is unacceptable to me! The other two times we ordered, and something was always missing, even though I had repeated it both in the comments and on the phone. Not enough soy sauce, not enough ginger, no chopsticks, requested sauces missing, etc. It's a real shame that, despite being asked to do so several times, it didn't work out. But, as I said, the food is really delicious.

Had a delicious lunch menu. Generous portions at reasonable prices. The staff goes above and beyond. Definitely worth a return visit. It would be nice if there were a bit more selection on the lunch menu.

It's okay and not a disappointment. It's not quite enough for me to want to go there twice a week. The service is a bit inattentive. EC only starts at €20, but it's not advertised anywhere beforehand. Customers should be aware of this before ordering. I also find it inappropriate these days.

Four of us ate there for the first time. It's located on a side street, so it's pretty quiet. We sat outside. It was actually cozy, but it would have been nicer if there had been cushions on the wooden benches. At some point, your bottom starts to hurt. The red lanterns create a lovely ambiance. The service was *excellent*. They often asked if everything was okay and if we needed anything else. The young waitress was very attentive and really friendly.👍👍👍 We were thrilled with the taste of the food. We spent a lovely few hours there. The interior was also tastefully decorated. Ate there yesterday, outside, friendly, but unfortunately we didn't like the food at all, noodles were lumpy, everything was very sour, didn't eat it all, what a shame.

The staff is friendly, attentive and caring - you feel like a welcome guest from the very entrance. ⠀ And the food is simply beyond praise! Everything was very, very tasty, the portions are generous, the products are fresh, and the presentation is truly aesthetic. The food is excellent! The ambiance is very nice – except for the "war pictures" on the walls and that train-themed side table in the entrance area. The service, however, needs some serious work! For example, tablets could be offered for taking orders to counteract communication and understanding problems. A more attentive approach would also be desirable.

The business has been expanded and has new furniture. The prices have been adjusted somewhat but so has the portion size. Quality is still very good. Changes for the better. Keep up the good work.

Be careful when purchasing vouchers. Contrary to general German law, the voucher value will be withheld after 6 months. The vouchers are not limited to special promotions or dishes and therefore have a legal validity of 3 years. The managing director of Papa Mi believes he can override consumer law with a signature and a notice period of 6 months. This is fraud. We had a balance of €32.60 left over from a €100 voucher after 1 year, which we were not allowed to claim. First, the managing director should not be present. When we googled his wife's text of the law from the consumer advice center into Vietnamese, he was there, very unfriendly and didn't respond to our complaint. A waiter said that this complaint had been made several times by other guests. No matter how good the food tastes, that's criminal, we won't go there anymore.

After a delay of over 1.5 hours, the overpriced food was delivered in poor quality...later it was noticed that the sauces were missing, after we tried 2 pieces and it tasted disgusting, we threw it away...never again, disgusting, absolutely not recommended!

Miserable!! Eternal waiting times for collection!!!! Dishes are not good. Card payment apparently not possible at the moment! When picking up the store was totally overcrowded and loud.

Absolutely disappointing - never again! My visit to PapaMi in Goch was a disaster. The food was just bad. The edamame were old and soggy, and the sushi rice was completely soft and sticky But the worst moment was when I saw the chef cutting his nails right at the table! Something like this is absolutely disgusting and completely unacceptable in a restaurant. Hygiene doesn't seem to play a role here. No wonder I felt so sick after eating that I threw up in the toilet right there and then. Conclusion: Poor quality, poor hygiene – definitely not recommended!

Restaurant highly recommended. I eat regularly - especially at lunchtime - at Papami in Goch. The food is super fresh, vegetables are crunchy and the sushi 🍣 is freshly prepared. I can highly recommend a visit. You can also stop here with children or business partners. There is also something for every taste. Meat, fish, crustaceans and shellfish, vegetarian and vegan. There is also a large selection of side dishes from pasta, rice, rice noodles, etc. There really is something for every taste here. Delivery of food is sometimes difficult and sometimes delivery costs €50, sometimes only from €80. That always seems a bit arbitrary.

Went to have dinner with 3 friends. We each ordered individually and one of them took a sushi combo. They put all of our individual sushi orders together mixed with the combo and didn’t tell us so 2 of us ended up not having anything left because we thought that was their combo. Terrible service.

The food was good, but we were processed quickly. The appetizer came well before the drinks. Then came the main course even though we were still eating the starter. We then had to ask that they leave the appetizer that we had only half eaten. So our main course was only lukewarm. After that we were forgotten, there were no more drinks and we were happy to leave. By the way, the restaurant was only half full. I've experienced better before and was therefore disappointed this time.

Very nice location, friendly approach. WAN Tan totally dry, warm main courses very tasty (great peanut sauce). One main course was the wrong one, but they ate it anyway. The Inari was not what we know as Inari, but a slice of tofu. The tuna (maguro) tasted so strange that it ended up in the napkin. Our last visit.

Unfortunately, nothing could be changed about the menus. Even leaving out the maki that I didn't like was not an option for the chef. Very unfriendly. We also left immediately after we couldn't order what we actually wanted.

Impudence! I ordered at 5:00 p.m. And when will the food arrive? 8:00 p.m.! The food was absolutely cold And for this price… Absolutely not recommended. The only thing that was good was the salad and it was of mediocre quality. They were also absolutely stingy with the portions for this money I would definitely have expected more. The sushi wasn't great either. For the same money I could have bought a kebab and it would have been even more filling.

We love it there. You get good fresh food at a very good price. Service was great, you were greeted nicely and asked again and again if everything was OK. The two waitresses (black/red hair) and one with blonde hair were really extremely friendly. We'll be back 👍🏼 the tables are unfortunately very close together, that's the only thing.

I have to be honest and say that the store has developed into a negative place. It used to be really good. The service has now deteriorated significantly. Some of the waiters don't understand German and orders are taken incorrectly or not at all. Even if nothing is going on, no one comes and asks if everything is OK. But the worst thing is the constant shouting from the kitchen staff, you have the feeling of being at the weekly market and you can hardly speak to each other, it's so loud, it's a shame because the prices have risen a lot

There is nothing wrong with the food and ambience. The restaurant is really nice and the quality of the food is always great, but I still have something to complain about that makes it worth giving me 2 stars → The inadequate declaration of allergens! Yesterday we wanted to order something via the in-house website, but it didn't say that most of the sauces contain milk or which side dishes you get with the dishes. At the same time, we had to open a tap with Lieferando, where everything was clearly explained. Since we wanted to pay in cash, a simple order via Lieferando was not possible. We actually wanted to make it easy for ourselves last night. Now I'm holding the flyer I gave me in my hand, which has the allergen letters written all over it, but no explanation!? So I have to look for their menu online again? I'm an allergy sufferer and I think it's a real shame that it's handled so carelessly.
