As always, it was very tasty. Since it was very busy, it was of course a bit noisy. Maybe you could try using room dividers or similar means to dampen the background noise a bit. Otherwise there is nothing to complain about. Nice service and everything went very quickly considering the number of guests. We booked again straight away.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, even though the restaurant was very busy. If you are visiting a restaurant with several people, you should order in advance.

The food was quite good. I would have liked more sauce for the napkin dumplings with sauerbraten. The atmosphere was very Christmassy and the service was good. Here you can also enjoy a great view of the surrounding towns. I'd love to come back...

The program was anything but funny. But it could also be a matter of taste...

We were here on an early winter day, there was some snow on the terrace but it was very cozy inside. The food was delicious, we had roast venison with dumplings, two kinds of fish and deer goulash. First there was a spicy meat and afterwards an ice cream sundae with homemade ice cream. Everything tasty and good portions. It's also good that you can choose the portion size (large or small) The service was very friendly and quick, even though it was quite busy. And the big trump card is the cool view of the boat lift! You definitely have to try it!

Very nice and cozy restaurant. The food was very good and plentiful. The service was great. Unfortunately, we had to wait over an hour for our food because the restaurant opened at 12 p.m. and everyone suddenly took their seats or placed their orders. Maybe next time it would be better not to come right when it opens :) Then maybe the waiting time won't be as long ;)

The restaurant is not too big, which creates a family atmosphere. Highly recommended.

The food and the location were wonderful. However, the service only deserves 3 stars. If you come to the motto "eat your fill of duck" and you can get as much as you want for the price, then it's not enough if just one waitress shows up every 10 to 15 minutes. I wanted to order more sauce for my dumplings and duck, but by the time one came the food was almost cold. This would have to be organized better for such a motto. Otherwise you just have to offer it as a buffet and everyone gets something for themselves.

The restaurant was full. Nothing works without a reservation. As a couple we were well served. I see problems with groups where all the food comes at the same time. The majority of guests drive up the forest path to the castle, which is incomprehensible to me.

We had reserved and got a table with a great view! The food was very good and the service was very nice and attentive. Unfortunately, after the visit I received an email criticizing that I had not shown up at the specified time and that I should please cancel my unused reservation beforehand! The previously pleasant visit to the restaurant now remains negative in my memory. That's probably why I won't be coming back!

It's simply enchanting up there, no matter what time of year you are there. We just had a visitor from Cairo and the lady was thrilled on our first visit when everything in the woods was changing color. Tomorrow we are flying back again after 6 weeks and finally we were your guests again yesterday. It was a successful farewell dinner with a pre-Christmas decoration. Very nice restaurant at the top of the mountain with a good view of the surrounding area. Excellent cuisine. It's better to reserve on weekends.

We were at the Carlsburg restaurant for a business lunch. We really liked it. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and accommodating but also with the necessary sensitivity when it was necessary. We felt comfortable, even if we couldn't enjoy the view after 5 p.m. due to the time of year. And the women also got their money's worth during the decor tour. Thank you for a successful evening

Visited Carlsburg again for a long time. Grandma has already decorated beautifully...really great ambience. One point is deducted for the dumplings, which unfortunately we and the guests at the neighboring table didn't like - Hengel dumplings would be our recommendation!!! We'll be back in the spring...

Nice destination with a wonderful view. The food is very tasty and the service is quick and courteous. It is very pleasant that you can choose between two portion sizes depending on your appetite. The ambience is more a matter of taste with the excessive decoration (offered by the decorative barn). Less would certainly be more. Nevertheless, we always enjoy coming here.

Too expensive for the taste and quality

As always we were very satisfied. There were four of us and we reserved a table just to be on the safe side. There was duck, pork knuckle, sauerbraten and fish. The food was really really tasty. The view is fantastic, the wide view over the beautiful Oderbruch. Always worth a trip.

On sunny days in autumn it's wonderful to sit on the terrace with coffee and cake and then go for a hike through the park

We have enjoyed eating here often, but our last visit was very disappointing. The food didn't taste good at all, the prices don't justify the food. We left a plate with 70% food. While clearing up, the good lady at the service didn't have the idea to ask if everything was OK, if it tasted good, etc. So things have become very underground here. Too bad!

Finally here again, I love the exuberant but absolutely endearing decoration - it's hard to get enough of it. An institution as a restaurant, today perfect wild goulash soup with sour cream and roast venison, with a Bordeoux on the recommendation of the house 🍷

When the weather is nice you have a great view. The decoration on display can be purchased at the same time. The food is highly recommended.

I can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience. The food is delicious and the selection is very extensive. You sit on the terrace and have a breathtaking view over the Oderbruch. That's why this restaurant gets full marks. I will definitely come back here more often

It's a shame we didn't discover this restaurant much earlier. I've never been served such a great slaughterhouse platter, the service was more than friendly and the pleasant ambience and the great view did the rest. Thank you very much - we'll be back!

A very nice and quick young man in service.

On a sunny October day, we were happy to have found a nice place in the Carlsburg's cozy guest room. After a short wait, the friendly server brought what we had chosen and we were surprised at how beautifully presented and tasty both of our meals were. Another plus point was being able to choose between “normal portion” + “small portion”. We started our way back to Berlin completely satisfied and were happy to have made such great use of the beautiful autumn day.

- Easy online reservation - the young-looking team is very motivated and provides good service - The menu is not overloaded with numerous dishes/variants - for me this is an indication of the freshness of the goods, as huge quantities do not have to be kept in stock and may be consumed too late or even thrown away. - Many dishes are offered as small or large portions. We would love to come back, also to enjoy the excellent view.

We recently had dinner at Carlsburg. Actually purely coincidental. And we are very grateful for this coincidence. The food is excellent. There were four of us. Everyone ordered a different dish and we tasted each other's plates. One better than the other. It's a shame you only have one stomach. The service is very friendly and competent. And the atmosphere is cozy. As I said. We are thrilled and you have gained 4 new regular guests.

Great restaurant, great food and a great view

I've been meaning to stop here for a long time and today it finally happened. I don't regret putting this plan into practice for a single moment. The restaurant offers a beautiful ambience with a breathtaking view. The service is very attentive and very friendly. The menu is very attractive and reasonably priced. As expected, my pork knuckle with side dishes was a lot and very tasty. I can enjoy half of it at home. The smaller portion of fish fillets with side dishes were more than sufficient and very good. We will be happy to visit this wonderful place again in the near future.

Once you have completed the adventure of driving up to Carlsburg, there will be some big surprises. The beautiful terrace of the panoramic restaurant, with a view far into the Oder Valley, the cozy restaurant where you immediately feel at home, with decoration worth seeing. The very friendly staff and the extensive menu that offers something for everyone. We went up with a big bus and 41 participants. Everyone was thrilled! We have visited the beautiful restaurant several times. A great view into the distance right at the edge of the forest, it couldn't be better. The loving design of the interior is also worth seeing. The food selection is diverse. So far we have enjoyed everything we have eaten and drunk. The employees are courteous and very friendly. Keep it up :-)))

Excellent delicious restaurant with exceptional and delicious dishes. The view over the valley is extraordinary. It was also noticeable that despite the upscale gastronomy, a child-friendly atmosphere was created.

Very tasty food. My partner had two types of brawn with fried potatoes and I had sauerbraten with apple red cabbage and napkin dumplings. Fast and friendly service. We were there today with almost 60 motorcyclists, but we were still able to continue our tour after a good 1.5 hours. Great view.

We have been here several times and have already tried some dishes. Whether game, poultry or fish, every dish had a special flavor. Really delicious and you shouldn't forget the homemade ice cream, cakes and tarts. Everything is a real culinary delight. Thanks for that and keep it up.

We were here for the first time today and were thrilled. Super nice service, great food and nice atmosphere. When the weather is nice, you have a great view of the landscape from the large terrace. You can also buy a lot of nice things there, from decorations to spirits, deer salami and other things, GREAT🤩 We had the sauerbraten with napkin dumplings and red cabbage once (normal portion) it was plenty, 3 pieces of sauerbraten, 2 large napkin dumplings and a lot of red cabbage, a generous portion for good eaters, if you can't manage that much I recommend the small portion 😅 Then we had the baked potato with chicken ragout, our son was thrilled 😋😋😋😋 and then there were pumpkin potato pancakes with smoked salmon and wasabi cream, mega😋👌 For dessert there was the warm almond poppy seed cake with vanilla sauce, coffee with milk and the peach mango ice cream sundae, it was all super delicious. We will definitely come back when we are in the area and recommend the restaurant 100 percent 👍👍👍👍👍

Food very tasty, lunch sometimes with a selection of smaller portions. The homemade ice cream is amazing! That's why it's better to make a reservation (you can also do it online), even for two people, as it always seems to be very busy. In addition, the bric-a-brac on display is entertaining and can be purchased, including cheese, sausage and liqueurs in the farm shop. But the best thing is the panoramic view!!

My 2 good friends invited me to dinner at Carlsburg. It was very nice there. Food was really really good. I would also give it 10 out of 10. I had creamed deer goulash, red cabbage and dumplings. 👍👍👍 I can only recommend it. Come back soon.

The Carlsburg is a long-established restaurant. No matter what time of year you come, the visit is always an experience. A wonderful view of the Oderbruch. The menu is diverse and has something to offer for everyone. It changes constantly and there are seasonal variations. No matter whether savory or sweet.

We went here for dinner for the first time. Even though we only live about a 15 minute walk away. But to have something to drink more often. Friendly, nice and sympathetic reception. We decided on the Wiener Schnitzel, Western Style and didn't regret it. Everything was freshly prepared and the taste was delicious 😋. Before that, a Berliner Weisse (green) and a Barnim festival beer. Honestly, whether it's food, ice cream 🍨 or homemade cake 🎂, We can only recommend Carlsburg. You look in vain for the menus for the little customers in the menu. Here you have one of your own and what a great one. The menus are at the front and there is a dice game at the back. Great idea and that's already 5 stars. Which dishes do we recommend? All! We also recommend making a reservation about 14 days in advance. Sorry, forgot to mention that they pay a lot of attention to cleanliness. Also in the sanitary sector.
