Cocktails, micheladas, and tacos – heaven. It really feels like Mexico!

The server was quite off putting. Food was costly and slightly dry and a michelada for 7.50 is quite criminal. If you want Mexican food in Berlin, there are better options. The music was very good!

Place with a lot of atmosphere, the food is very good. The closest thing to Mexico that I found since I moved to Germany, I really recommend it. The waiters with very good energy, very good attention and humor!

Super tasty Mexican food in Berlin. We came for a birthday celebration with 20 people. Pancho Villa managed to keep us happy with food, drinks and vibes throughout the whole evening. They even started Karaoke for us and later the whole restaurant was joining in. Great experience!

Eat, drink, sing and dance! My Mexican friends brought me here and I have to say will never forget this evening. The interior is quite simple/plain.

The food is really good, it is freshly prepared and tastes very good. The employees are very nice and helpful. It is simply furnished, but is completely sufficient. Only the music was a little too loud.

Went here with a friend and honestly, it was a real letdown. The meat tacos weren’t cold, but they weren’t warm either—just kind of lukewarm and underwhelming. No sauce, nothing to pull the flavors together, and the presentation was unappetizing. One positive is the staff is friendly and attentive. My friend got the veggie mix, and some of the tacos were literally just cactus fruit and onions in juice—maybe even canned. No sauce, no sour cream, no cheese—nothing to balance or enrich the flavors. What surprised me most was that one meat taco was basically repeated in another, just with a few strange-tasting chips on top. For something that’s supposed to be a “variety,” it felt lazy and repetitive. We paid 15€ per person, and on top of that, if you want cheese on your tacos, it’s an extra 1€ per taco, which felt excessive considering what you’re getting. I’ve had really good tacos in other places, so it’s frustrating when the response to criticism is, “Well, that’s how they taste in Mexico.” That just feels dismissive—especially when the food clearly lacks balance, care, and flavor. I don’t enjoy writing negative reviews, but I really wouldn’t recommend this place based on our experience.

Great Mexican food in a fun location. Staff are friendly and helpful. We had margaritas and a few of the Taco options. Food came quickly despite it being a busy Friday night. Drinks were well made and tasty. Everything was reasonably priced and overall we had a fun night out.

My new favorite taco joint in Berlin! Loved the nopales street tacos topped with chicharron and the carnitas torta. Salsa was also delicious, although I only tried the hottest one. Great vibe, especially on a warm sunny day!

on instagram they shared a video about a soup full of meat and we went there to have it . soup had no meat at all just chickpeas. and we pay 7 euro each for this terrible scam. I will never go this place again. if you dont have meat in this soup than dont show as if it has a meat on instagram. Terrible .

The store is ok. The service is good and the ambience is also quite nice, but there are about 10 restaurants in Berlin that offer better and, above all, inexpensive Mexican food. You can do it, but you don't have to.

I like the tacos; they are the best I’ve had so far in Berlin. I like the taste, flavor, and texture, and they’re not soggy. However, the portion is too small for the price and not filling enough—I wish they were bigger. I had the taco mix, but if you're hungry, it's not enough. In my opinion, it's more like an appetizer-sized portion

I can only review the drinks, since I only consumed that. The cost is average to other places and I expected something good or better, but no, I do not recommend the cocktails or micheladas, it is like drinking flavored drinks. I went on karaoke night and I suggest they improve the audio.

Special at Dia de los muertos with Karaoke. Super nice, friendly, feels like family.

Food was okay…. A little average and oily. The chilli sauces were delicious though and the service was good. Very loud with live karaoke on the Friday evenings and if you are there for business don’t expect a tax receipt. You are allowed to pay cash in my case but can’t have a receipt for your purchase (which by law is a legal requirement) I won’t be in hurry to return. You can find better tacos in berlin.

I'm a (US) American living in Berlin for 15 years, and I've constantly been searching for an authentic Mexican restaurant, and I'm just ecstatic to have finally found one! I recommend 3 vegan chorizo tacos (with cheese) on taco Tuesday, with real habernero hot sauce. The homemade chips and guac are also great. And Germans, it's okay to eat with your hands! Yummy!

Delicious tacos that taste like proper Mexican food, yeah!!! This is not a bad review i just want more meat! They have chicken tinga and pibil only Tuesdays and Thursdays but any other day you can only get one meat item which is carnitas. I enjoyed the vegetarian tacos but felt desperate for another meat taco. I think that would make this place perfect! I will try to get back on a Tuesday or Thursday.

Better stay away from this place. Tasteless overpriced food. I had camarones al ajillo and fish minilla (Easter Special ). I also had the Tacos menu which is a regular dish from their menu and even that one is tasteless. How can you actually cook Shrimps and Tacos that badly. Total disappointment. Told the waiter twice and he was just smiling. Never again

food is really whatever, almost kinda nasty. the fried stuff tastes like old oxidized oil. the so called pulled pork was all goey and cold. the best was the sauce which tasted like dust. the corona didnt taste like corona. also highly overpriced for what is served. would def not recommend.

The service is very friendly and responds to my wishes. The food is delicious, freshly prepared from fresh ingredients and sufficient. Really delicious. The ambience is a matter of taste. It's just in the hustle and bustle of Kreuzberg. I'd love to go there too.

I enjoyed the restaurant and its terrace to grab a few bites for dinner. There are a few vegan options which is nice, I found the vegan chorizo interesting but was fairly disappointed with the Nopales which lacked taste in my opinion. Guacamole was average, margarita a bit too sweet for my taste. So overall, I was not particularly impressed with the food but service was great and the spot is chill.

Many gluten-free options! The owners are well informed about celiac safe food prep. I never have high expectations for Mexican food in Berlin. Once I put a taco carnitas from Pancho Villa in my mouth, I felt like I was in California, at a Mexican wedding. This has never happened in Berlin before. If you want to try real Mexican food in Berlin, come here. The service is excellent. If you are hungry, you won't wait long for anything. The atmosphere is great, especially in the middle of winter. The restaurant inside is bright and cheery. They even sometimes have Mariachi music!

As a mexican living here for 3 years, who tried most of the taquerias and Mexican restaurants in Berlin, now this place has been my go to since months, and I can confidently say it offers the best real Mexican food in the city. (Meaning that this place don’t offer “Burritos” or the typical TexMex food most of the Mexican places in Berlin try to sell as mexican). From the moment I walked in, the warm hospitality made me feel as though I had been transported straight to Mexico. I could recommend everything as it has even vegan options, but my favorite are undoubtedly the chilaquiles and tacos de carnitas with chicharron. Equally impressive were the micheladas. Simply the best I’ve had! The owners and the staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to recommend dishes and explain the rich culinary traditions behind them. For anyone in Berlin looking to indulge in the best chilaquiles, micheladas, and tacos, Pancho Villa is a must-visit. It’s more than just a meal; it’s an authentic cultural experience that celebrates the vibrant and diverse cuisine of Mexico. Highly recommended!

If you're looking for authentic Mexican cuisine, you've come to the right place!! The owner was super nice and had something to tell about every dish :) you can really tell that there is real enthusiasm behind it. The tocos carnitas are particularly recommended, but what surprised me most were the tortas nopales - I haven't tried them anywhere else and they were very tasty.

The service was very friendly but unfortunately the food was really disappointing. We ordered a special taco menu, a nachos-guacamole starter and a tinga tostada. The pork tacos were dry as can be and not seasoned. The cactus tacos weren't convincing either. The tostada tinga was okay. There is very little choice on the menu. The cocktails we ordered weren't strong enough too. In short, the service is not enough to save the bill.

“Pancho Villa” is a true gem among Mexican restaurants in the city. The tacos de carnitas and special dishes are simply the best I've ever tasted. Every bite is full of authentic flavors and the quality of the ingredients is outstanding. For vegans, the restaurant also offers a selection of delicious tacos that are equally tasty. It's great to see that vegetarian and vegan guests are also being considered. The long drinks are absolutely recommended, especially the Michelada. It's refreshing and perfectly seasoned, just right on a hot day. The staff is super friendly and attentive, which makes a visit to “Pancho Villa” a completely pleasant experience. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Small portions, big prices. The food tastes normal. There isn't a large selection and the prices don't match the performance. A taco, quite small, costs €7.90. Instead, I'd rather buy a kebab somewhere else and get full. The margarita was correct and average price. Not recommended anywhere. The owner says I wasn't there. Nachos with guacamole €5.90 (very small portion). Three small quesadillas €7.90. There's Margarita, Caribbean Margarita and Margarita with Mezcal. I was there after all. If you don't accept customers' opinions, or only positive ones, you have a problem... Have a nice day and all the best

Worst Mexican I ever had …and I‘ve lived in Mexico for a year

Visiting from LA and a bit home sick from running around all week in Berlin I wanted something to remind me of home. The corn hand made tortillas, the soft shredded carnitas, and the spice are perfect. If I could recommend something. ensalada de Nopal and a Pico de gallo would go well with your tacos. Also does anyone in Berlin have tacos de asada?

Fiesta Mexicana!!! Mexican karaoke basement! Loud and lively. Tacos with ground beef were delicious. Corona was available on tap, but also very expensive - 7 euros per small 0.33 glass. The mezcal only costs €3.50, which you can also see in the pub 😂. The karaoke singers burn just as much as the mezcal and the good atmosphere. The ambience is layered and rustic and very tight, as befits a cantina. Fun evening but not as cheap as it seems at first glance. But we'd love to come back... maybe with some earplugs 🙉😂

Tacos were good but not great. Unfortunately, the Easter special dish (see pictures) looked completely different than the picture on the menu and didn't taste good either. Service was great for that.

Anyone who has tried a lot of authentic Mexican food and knows good food will be disappointed here. You can hardly taste the spices. I found it partly oversalted. The sauces help a little but it's not really good. The shrimp were not freshly prepared and were therefore rubbery. I hope the quality will be better.

Nice staff, atmosphere cool. We had vegan tostadas, the vegan taco mix and totopos. Unfortunately the price-performance ratio is a bit weak. Especially €5.90 for a small bowl of totopos and guacamole was a bit disappointing. I know some other very good taco shops in Berlin where you actually get more for your money.

Unfortunately we had a very bad experience. Our order was misunderstood and when we pointed it out in surprise we were more or less ignored. The food was expensive and not particularly good, we left very disappointed. I definitely wouldn't come back

my boyfriend and i visited here on our first night in berlin a few weeks ago i got tacos with just cheese and they were so yummy lol the server was very friendly and took a photo for us when i asked and even suggested a nicer background lol
