Paa's Thai Restaurant in Bad Wurzach

We came all the way from France to have dinner with our grandmother, and everything was simply perfect. Each of us chose a different dish, and everyone was delighted. It was truly delicious and prepared with so much love. The dessert and coffee were also excellent. The welcome was very warm, and we were able to stay a little longer before we had to leave. A truly perfect experience. I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant in this city.

Paa's restaurant is, as she says, small but perfectly formed, and that's true. The food is delicious and the price is right. Paa is super warm and friendly, as is her daughter. I'll be happy to come back when I'm in the area.

Not recommended. All four dishes were neither authentic nor tasty. The meat was overly gristly, and the sauce was just a thin vegetable broth.

I haven't had such a bad meal in a long time. I wanted roast duck with noodles. When I asked for duck, she said chicken was also delicious, so I ordered chicken. Two minutes later, my plate arrived: a whole chicken leg on top of the noodles, which were simply cold! The noodles were so-so.

For a single mother with a son, who is both boss and cook, the food comes quickly. Simple dishes that taste good. Small menu. Discounted lunchtime meals are unfortunately only available for takeout. It's a rather unusual cuisine, probably Asian; you just have to enjoy it. Personally, I found the dishes boring, too little meat and too few vegetables. Mainly, there were just too many potatoes (which is quite unusual; I've never encountered that in this type of cuisine) and carrots; I had maybe eight pieces of meat. The soup was very similar, with coconut milk, but surprisingly tasted more like mushroom soup, probably due to the sheer number of them. And everything was made quickly, so the vegetables were a bit tough inside. The staff was nice, but not overly large, so we had to wait a while.

We were there for the second time today. We ate the wonderful, delicious spring rolls. It was a delight. We had a great time with the owner again. It's always a pleasure to be there. We'll be back in the fall. I promise!😜

I've never had such a bad meal at a Thai restaurant. The vegetables were stewed in a thin vegetable broth, which also served as my sauce. The peppers were raw. The meat was unseasoned. I don't know what was supposed to be Thai about this meal. Never again!

The food is fresh and delicious! The owner is very friendly and welcoming. Plus, the prices are really reasonable – highly recommended!

Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it. I went there during my lunch break to take away food. There were three of us, and we all had fried noodles with duck. Two other people after us wanted that too. At first, she said, "We're out of duck, only three ducks left for us," but then she noticed that they were also out of noodles. We got our food. It wasn't duck. It tasted like shish kebab. The noodles were okay, but the vegetables were completely raw. The food was lukewarm. After us, she closed the shop because she was out of stock. It was just before 1 p.m.

Very well seasoned curry, with lots of vegetables - just the way we love it. The spring rolls are also recommended! The boss is extremely friendly and accommodating. There's a lot that could be improved on the ambience, but we still liked it. We'll be back!

After the restaurant/ambience looked a bit bleak from the outside, we were surprised by the authentic Thai food. Very friendly service and the dishes were all delicious and you could see that everything was homemade. Spicy here means really spicy (which we liked). After the meal, Paa came out of the kitchen briefly and asked whether we were satisfied and pointed out again that she cooks everything herself and without glutamate/finished products. Very sympathic.

It's really amazing there! The food is excellent and Paa is so loving and you can tell by the food, we highly recommend it!

Never had such bad Thai food. Vegetables were way too soft, the sauce was indefinable and the chicken had a strange consistency.

Home-style Thai food. Fantastic green curry (No. 7), delicious homemade (!) spring rolls. The ambience is somewhat reminiscent of the Schwabenstube that was there before. But I prefer it this way to some forced Asian kitsch :)

The price performance is not good. The 4 stars for the friendly service! The ambience, well. There were only carrots and onions with the fried rice.

When you enter Paa's small Thai restaurant, which looks quite inconspicuous from the outside (Paa is a Thai woman who has lived in Germany for several years and feels very at home in Germany), you are immediately greeted with joy, usually by the boss herself Warmth and a smile that you wouldn't expect from a restaurant visit and you immediately feel very welcome. 😊 If you then decide on one of Paa's Thai curries or ask directly what she can recommend today, you have done everything right and will be served a down-to-earth but delicious Thai curry, also cooked with a lot of love by the boss. 😉👍 Although Paa does almost everything herself, she also likes to take the time for a short conversation and personal exchange with her guests. The dessert, banana in warm and slightly sweet coconut milk, is also highly recommended. The small heart-shaped carrot slice, which seems to adorn all of Paa's dishes and is certainly hand-carved, should not be missing.😊👍

Very, very tasty, authentic food. Everything was freshly prepared and the portions were definitely filling. The price-performance ratio was absolutely fine. Several vegetarian and vegan dishes to choose from. Very nice boss and courteous service.

Essen war frisch und sehr lecker. Bedienung sehr freundlich. Es ist kein Restaurant wie man es erwartet. Einfach und sauber. Sehr viele haben zum Mitnehmen bestellt.

Das Essen schmeckt wie hausgemacht, das Team ist außergewöhnlich freundlich. Ich finde das Essen nicht übertrieben scharf. Die knusprige Ente ist phänomenal.

Eine sehr aromatische und leckere, vegetarische Suppe gegessen! 🍜 Die Gastgeberin Paa ist sehr herzlich und man fühlt sich gleich wohl.🥰

Leckeres Essen gibt es hier, zum mitnehmen oder zum Vorort genießen. Die Chefin ist sehr lieb und super nett. Einfach hereinspazieren und kurz klingeln, wenn sich keiner hinter der Theke befindet. Sehr empfehlenswert!!!

Viel Auswahl auch an vegetarischen Gerichten. Das Essen hat eine angenehme Schärfe. Außerdem ist es eine sehr gesunde Vorbereitung und wird für jeden Kunden frisch gekocht. Die Chefin ist sehr nett und die Bedienung auch. Im Lokal ist eine schöne Atmosphäre. Sehr zu Empfehlen 🤗
