The food was very simple. It gives the impression that a basic broth was used for all dishes. Vegan is much tastier. Contrary to what was stated on the menu, there was no “draft beer”, only bottled beer. Our dishes consisted of 50% iceberg lettuce and we suddenly couldn't pay by card, even though this isn't published anywhere. You sit outside on unpadded benches/stools without backrests. Comfortable is different! How could this restaurant get a 4.7 rating???

Friendly service at lunchtime on a weekday. There were few guests, so it was easy to get a seat outside. My vegetables with sweet potato noodles were ok. The vegetables are fresh and on point. Plus a few tofu cubes, unfortunately not crispy, and a dash of soy sauce. Culinary average. The food doesn't stand out from all the other cross-over Asians. A pity.

Delicious vegan dishes, you definitely don't miss meat here. The tapas are really good value for money.

We had it delivered this evening and are currently visiting Leipzig. It was so delicious and because everything was vegan anyway, it was a new feeling to choose a dish. I'm totally thrilled.

This is the fifth time we have ordered from this restaurant and unfortunately each time the food arrived lukewarm at most and rather cold. We live only 3 kilometers away, which takes just 11 minutes by bike. The food tastes good, but the prices are definitely too high for this poor delivery service. We always hoped that it would work better next time, but unfortunately we were always disappointed. What a shame! We won't be ordering here again.

I've already tried half of the menu and everything tastes very good, especially the udon noodles. Always worth a visit.

Very tasty, central and yet on a quiet side street with a handful of other vegan establishments. Small downside: Unfortunately, this is also a common quirk in Germany - only cash payments.

I come here from time to time with colleagues from the University of Leipzig and can only warmly recommend the restaurant! Excellent Asian food, all vegan, but also tastes great to me as a carnivore, the prices are absolutely fair and group reservations are uncomplicated and flexible. One of the top addresses here in Leipzig!

We came here based on a recommendation and to put it bluntly - it was worth it! A restaurant with clear, vegan options on the menu and a solid selection of dishes. The service was super friendly and accommodating - and the waiting time for the food was absolutely fine, even though the restaurant was relatively full. We would love to eat here again - great experience!

Ouai has always been a restaurant that I enjoyed going to and that I was happy to recommend. Til today. No eating in the restaurant possible, especially because of repairs, okay no problem. But I read that there is 30% off on collection. So I went there, ordered and wanted to pay straight away. I was told that EC payment wasn't possible (unfortunately it wasn't anywhere) so I went to the nearest ATM and withdrew money. Then I was quoted a price that was far away from what I had in mind based on the prices on the menu, with the reasoning being that packaging costs money (quite a bit obviously). Prices were nowhere to be seen transparently. The 30% wasn't there either because I would have had to order BEFORE. So that was my last visit. Bad service, no price transparency and there was no discount because I just ordered on the spot. Good luck with the renovation.

Incredibly delicious food. "Pretty Woman" is my absolute favorite dish - crunchy vegetables, sweet potato noodles, juicy tofu and a delicious sauce. Worth every cent for me. Delivery also works excellently. The food arrived quickly and hot (3 km delivery distance).

Ein sehr nettes kleines veganes Restaurant, wo man tolle Bowls bekommt. Die Menge ist reichlich, die Zutaten frisch und gut zubereitet. Die Gerichte sind vielfältig.

The food is extremely good with very fair pricing. The ingredients are noticably fresh, the portions are generous and the seasoning well balanced. Service and atmosphere are nice. Special points for the creative and tasty non-alcoholic beverages.

Wir waren heute mit 5 Leute da. Sehr sehr leckeres und frisches Essen! Auch für nicht veganer sehr zu empfehlen. Kartenzahlung ab 80 Euro. Etwas ungewöhnlich aber okay. Viele Bio Getränke! Mega. Bier war etwas abgestanden aber sonst alles top. Von 12 bis 16 Uhr gibt es einzelne menüs vergünstigt. Sehr nice!

Ganz tolles Restaurant! Essen war sehr lecker und vielseitig, Service toll: sehr freundlich, umsichtig und schnell, Ambiente klein aber fein und gemütlich eingerichtet. Um die Abendessens-Zeit zu Recht voll - Reservierung zu empfehlen.

It was probably the best vegan asian dinner we have ever had. We took 2 starters and mains (one with rice and one with noodles) and everything was delicious. The place itself is cozy and the staff is very friendly. Just be aware that they accept only cash (or at least it was the case during our visit).

Angestellte desinteressiert an den Gästen, Vorspeisen-Auswahl sehr trocken oder triefend vor Fett, Saucen wurden über das Essen gegeben, obwohl wir baten, das nicht zu tun.

Sehr süßes kleines Restaurant asiatisch-fusionierter Küche Alles vegan. Das Personal war überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die angebotenen Getränke und Speisen waren frisch und sehr köstlich! Preise sind dafür angemessen. Ich komme ganz sicher wieder!

Absolute Empfehlung auch für Leute die nicht Vegan sind. Sehr gute Preise, köstliches Essen, extrem Freundliche Bedienung und eine wunderschöne Inneneinrichtung. Eins der besten Restaurants in ganz Leipzig würde ich sagen, vor allem wenn man Asiatisches Essen mag.

Meine Partnerin und ich waren vor zwei Jahren ebenfalls hier (kommen aus Bayern) und hatten damals nach veganen Restaurants gesucht. Wir hatten das Quai entdeckt und waren damals 3(!) Mal hier, obwohl wir nur eine Woche in Leipzig waren. Diesmal war der Besuch in diesem Restaurant ein vorab erklärer Höhepunkt unseres Urlaubs. Das Essen ist absolut grandios, sei es Geschmack, Haptik oder Optik. Ein Muss für jeden Veganer, und eine Empfehlung für alle die es vlt Mal werden wollen. Auch das Ambiente und der Service war hervorragend. 5/5 in allen Bereichen. Bis zum nächsten Mal!

Die Speisekarte ist ausreichend kreativ (besonders die Tapas lassen viel Abwechslung bei der Zusammenstellung des gewünschten Menüs zu), das Essen sehr gut gekocht, die Angestellten freundlich und das Ambiente schön. Für Leute, die knauserig sind: Vielleicht sind die Preise minimal höher als in anderen (veganen) Restaurants. Darauf achte ich aber nicht zu sehr, weil gutes Essen seinen Preis eben Wert ist. Alles Top!

Jedes Mal wenn ich hier bin, ist es eine kleine Offenbarung. Hier ist alles frisch, das Essen ist innovativ und gleichzeitig sehr traditionell. In der Südvorstadt gibt es viele asiatische und insbesondere vietnamesische Restaurants aber dieses hier hat eine Qualität, die herausstechend ist. Ich konnte sogar schon sehr resistente nicht-Veganer von dem Essen dort überzeugen. Probiert den Hulk. Meine Lieblingslimo. Ich hoffe ihr bringt das Zeug demnächst auf den Markt!
