Osteria Mavelli in Loxstedt

A thoroughly pleasant place. The ambience inspires as soon as you enter the restaurant. As a guest you walk past the large bar to the table. The large windows are absolutely wonderful. There is a great view of the activities at the sports facility. The friendly and very attentive staff explains the dishes and drinks on offer. The card is NOT overloaded and that's a good thing. The waiting time is reasonable even with many tables occupied. A “special tip” at the end: definitely try the tiramisu in a glass!

Attention: "every Wednesday every pizza for only 9.90" only applies to the cheap standard pizzas. But this is only told to you after you have ordered and consumed it when paying. That has a very bad aftertaste.

The Mavelli couple managed to hoist the Italian flag high on the outskirts of a small town in Lower Saxony. A true representation of the Italian way of life.

You want good food and a nice atmosphere, then you should give yourself a try and go to Osteria Mavelli in Loxstedt. The food was simply great. To start with Bruscetta in 3 variants (very cool to try out other variants) then there was pizza and pasta (we were enthusiastic about both. You can tell that the kitchen is keen and that is noticeable on the plate. Fresh ingredients and homemade pasta is not self-evident. We will come back in any case.

I was really impressed with how beautiful this restaurant is. Despite the interior being almost fully booked, they still found a great place for us (2 adults + 1 child). Waiting time is okay, but the food tops everything. Good way to become our favorite Italian

Staff unfriendly. The ice cream for 7 people was an absolute disaster. They were also completely overwhelmed even though the store was completely empty. We will NOT go here again!!!!!!

We liked it very much. The command was on point and the food tasted good. The only minor drawback: no men's portion!!!!!

We were there on a Thursday evening, we ordered and received the food quickly. It was super tasty. The pizza was fresh and tasted great. I can highly recommend it. The special requests for our Mini were addressed and implemented without any problems. And the spaghetti with tomato sauce (visible in the photo) was the absolute highlight of the evening for me personally. All in all, I can highly recommend the food there. And the ambience was super detailed and not overloaded. If we are in the area again, this is a must visit for us!

We have now visited the ice cream parlor for the umpteenth time and are absolutely thrilled. But the location is also simply phenomenal. The children can play outside or dad plays football and mom drinks coffee :-) The prices in the ice cream cafe are fair and the toilet facilities are super clean and well maintained. A mom at the next table was changing diapers there and discovered that they even had diapers. So everything the family heart desires is available. The service is courteous and friendly and the decor is super modern and chic! From Schiffdorf we are always drawn there. We also wanted to try the pizzeria next door, but unfortunately the prices put us off a bit.

Guest there again. And again nothing to complain about. Very tasty food and friendly service.

Everything was great, I had a baseball steak, cooked medium rare, tender and with great side dishes. Friends had pasta and they were also very happy with their food, it was freshly made and not cooked dry goods.

Very tasty and freshly prepared food. Price-performance ratio is appropriate. The service staff try to fulfill all wishes, the chef does a good job. We will be back definitely

The service is very nice. The food definitely has room for improvement, especially with the prices. Starter, main course and dessert were below average. For me it was the first and the last time.

It's a very nice, nice atmosphere, the waitresses are very nice and very warm. The dishes are made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and you can taste it. I am always happy when I have the honor of eating here and enjoying the excellent food. Preferably twice every week. Thank you very much to the great team, we feel like they are our family. Wir haben noch das Vergnügen gehabt, am "All You Can Eat Pizza" Event teilzunehmen. Es war wundervoll welch unterschiedliche interessante Pizzen serviert worden. Da wir als Vegetarier zwischenzeitlich etwas auf heißen Kohlen saßen wurden wir extra gefragt worauf wir denn noch Lust hätten und so wurde extra für uns noch eine eigene Pizza gebacken. Die Pizzen sind wirklich super gut! Und der Service ist auch top 😊👍🏼

Gutes Essen und freundliches Personal.

Tolles Ambiente, schöne Karte und das Essen war sehr lecker. Die Nachtische waren mega! An den Service, häufiger mal nach Getränken fragen zB, darf noch etwas gearbeitet werden.

Das Essen war sehr gut. Gibt es einfach nichts zu beanstanden. Die Wartzeit war sehr lang, der Laden war aber auch sehr voll. Als Entschuldigung haben wir alle ein dessert aufs Haus bekommen. Fand ich sehr nett. Das einzige was gestört hat, nach dem essen kam keine Bedienung mehr vorbei. Wir konnten also nichts mehr bestellen und vor allem wollten wir auch gern zahlen. Wir sind alle sehr entspannt und wissen um den Mangel an Arbeitskräften, aber mit dieser Rezession können andere sich einfach drauf einstellen.

Hat zwar etwas länger gedauert bis die Pizza fertig war, aber der leckere Geschmack hat das Warten kompensiert.

Essen mega lecker, sehr freundlicher Service und eine tolle Atmosphäre. Nach leichten Startschwierigkeiten ist der Service jetzt wirklich Klasse und aufmerksam. Wir (4 Mädels) haben etwas länger auf unsere Vorspeise gewartet, weil es zu dem Zeitpunkt sehr voll war, was uns kaum aufgefallen ist, weil es viel zu erzählen gab. Die Hauptspeise kam dann recht zügig. Und ohne das etwas gesagt wurde, bekamen wir als kleine Entschädigung einen sehr leckeren Nachtisch aufs Haus. Der Chef hat sich am Ende selber noch für die kurze Wartezeit entschuldigt. So geht Service, toll. Das Essen war super lecker und frisch.

Die Einrichtung im Restaurant ist sehr geschmackvoll und gemütlich, die Terrasse draußen schön groß, der Service war schnell und super nett, hat alles prima geklappt. Die Vorspeise (Aubergine von der Wochenkarte) war sehr lecker. Waren heute nochmal da und ich hatte die besten Spaghetti Frutti de Mare bisher, optisch ein Highlight und geschmacklich mega, die Muscheln super, bisschen spicy gewürzt, wir waren sehr begeistert! Spaghetti Carbonara wie in Italien! Wir kommen wieder! Gerne noch ein bisschen mehr vegetarische Auswahl

Ein sehr schöne Osteria, wo man absolut lecker 😋 Speisen kann. Die Pizzen sind ein absoluter gaumenschmaus, wo man schwer dran vorbeikommt. Die Speisekarte hat allerdings noch mehr zu bieten. Die Gelegenheit sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen..Guten Appetit!

Bestes Italienisches Restaurant in der Region. Leckeres Essen und ein toller Service. Sehr Freundliches Personal. Werde wieder kommen. Stammkarte plus Wochenkarte mit Saisonalen Gerichten. Rollstuhlgerecht und Wickelraum vorhanden.

Waren das 2. Mal zum Essen dort und mehr als zufrieden. Alles wird aus frischen Zutaten hergestellt und ist super lecker. Die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Ich kann das Restaurant nur empfehlen!

Klasse Italiener. Passt einfach einwandfrei alles zusammen. Essen super, Getränke Top und der Service ist auch engagiert. Wöchentlich wechselnde Speisekarte noch neben, der normalen. Tipp: Unbedingt die angeschlossene Eisdiele ausprobieren.

Echt italienisches Essen. Hausgemachte Pasta, frisch gemachte Pizza. Auch gibt es immer wieder neue Gerichte. Auch das Eis wird selbst gemacht und schmeckt wunderbar! Ich kann es wärmstens Empfehlen! Das einzigste was manchmal nicht so gut klappt ist der Service. Teils etwas unorganisiert aber immer freundlich!

Ich war Anfang August mit einer Gruppe von 24 Personen dort zum Essen. Das Essen ist dort wirklich gut. Die Rückmeldung meiner Gruppe war mehrheitlich gut bis sehr gut. Nur in zwei Fällen war die Rückmeldung eher befriedigend. Besonders hervorzuheben war die Improvisation der Mitarbeiterinnen, weil wir lediglich 16 Personen zum Essen eingeplant hatten.

Seit langem nicht mehr so eine leckere Pizza gegessen. Absolute Empfehlung. Salat wurde mit VIEL Liebe gesalzen wurde aber mit einem leckern Eis wieder ausgeglichen. Wir kommen gerne wieder…
