Great sidewalk Cafe with plenty of English speakers and good music

Ate on the patio, perfect setting for a mid-week evening dinner. The Banger Mash, Fish 'n Chips, Cottage Pie and Mushroom Swiss Burger was all on point. Well done, chef & staff!

Great food and nice selection of beer on tap

Good beer selection so if you're looking for that I highly recommend this place. However it was probably the worst BLT I've ever had... Which I didn't even know you could mess up.

Very cool bar. The staff mainly only speaks English. That's why there are a lot of Americans on site - that's exactly what makes this bar so authentic. In summer you can sit outside or go inside. A large selection of different types of beer and of course other beer can be found on the menu.

Authentically American. Almost only visitors from the base as guests, everyone was very nice. The drinks and snacks are also geared towards Americans. All in all, it's really cool there.

We have been several times, and the food has always been very good. We like to sit outside, so sometimes the servers are very busy, but they are always friendly and go out of their way to honor our requests. The first time we ordered the fish and chips, we got 2 pieces of fish, but this last time, we only got one piece. But it was a very large piece and we had plenty to eat. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is their drinks are a little expensive.

This is a great little pub to stop and visit for a drink and bar food. Beer selection is somewhat limited but has a little variety. I ordered dinner and was surprised how fast it came out which is indication the food is not fresh. It was tasty but probably frozen. The service was slow despite being seated inside next to the door. I am assuming because I was by myself and noticed large parties being catered too. Also had the dessert, an apple turnover with ice cream. The ice cream was good however for the price, the apple cobbler/turnover was a disappointment and definitely commercial made. The beer I had was great (see picture). I will try again as there was nothing jumping out that said avoid the place. Just don't plan a family dinner here.

Fun place to spend happy hour with friends

This Pub was built for making life long memories with new friends. The staff was very pleasant and attentive. Our party was seated immediately. We were served our beverages within a few minutes of our arrival. The meals were served within 15 minutes after receiving our drinks. The fish and chips was perfectly cooked plus the the flavor was exactly what one would expect for Irish food. Please give my regards to the Chef for another memorable meal.

Nothing to complain about here. Just a small Irish pub with a couple TVs. Plenty of good drink options at good prices. I dripped about 30 euros for a pint of Karslberg, a Corona, a single of Red Breast, and some Bangers and Mash. The food was good too. The friend I was with got the garlic butter schnitzel with fries and a salad, all of which looked good too. Easy walk from Hotel Christine as well if you're staying nearby.

The location in center of the small town was great. Walking in the décor was what is expected of an Irish pub. The beer selections was good, as was the meal selection. I had bangers and mash, an Irish or English meal, but with German sausages: a large order for food portion at a good price. The staff were friendly and pleasant, and attentive. Would eat here again next time.

This is one of two Irish Pubs in Landstuhl along with a British pub (Red Lion) down the street. Atmosphere is great, family and kid friendly and a good happy hour that ends at 1800. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive. I'd say it was filled with locals and some tourists on the cold winter night we were there. Lots of outdoor seating in the warmer months. Beer and food prices were ok. We tried a sampler platter but the items were over fried. Fish and chips was in the ok category. The wings were quite good but small. I'd go back for happy hour and wings for sure!

Really nice Irish style pub in the American airbase area, friendly staff and good selection of beers,I didn’t eat but the food looked good. It was a cold evening but felt very warm and cozy in side. Plus all the sports channels without the sound , very enjoyable evening. Thanks.

This place is pretty dope. Ana is the best waitress I’ve had in my entire adult existence on God’s green earth. Guinness is my favorite beer.

A slightly more tame version of other Irish Pubs in the area, Oscar's a staple every time I travel to Germany. Bangers N Mash with a beer will set you right every time.

Don't let the location fool you, this place is real deal in terms of atmosphere, food and drink, and service! Burgers are great, Guinness is delicious, and try the Guinness and beef pie!

Went out with another couple for our monthly dinner together. Sat outside for our meal on a beautiful clear day. Service was fast and efficient. Staff was friendly as well, which is a plus to go a long with their chill and friendly atmosphere. Food was delicious along with their drinks. Yes they had Guinness on tap and it was amazing. Not sure if they still serve breakfast but wanna go back and try since that menu looks amazing. They do have a happy hour until 1700hrs with a beer and a shot for €6 and 1/2 price apps.

Disgusting food and non professional services. I was sitting to try their burgers. I were asking the waitress from breed is the meat from? She said she don't understand my question. Then I asked her one more time the same question, she still doesn't understand. Then she sent back to me another waiter. He told me that the meat is from a cow 😂. Really??? I was thinking is come from a lion. Then the burger comes, I never seen in my life so bad looking burger except at McDonald's. The taste was terrible. The price for Landstuhl is OK, 11,00€ but that was the most expensive dog food. Finally I heard that the owner is not even Irish, but English. Well, that explains the things.

We ate outside in the beer garden. It was perfect with plenty of shade. We all ate different dishes and all enjoyed it immensely. The bangers and mash was artfully plated. The cheeseburger was tasty. The Guinness pie and Cottage Pie were very tasty but very hot at first. It was hard to wait to eat it as it smelled amazing. Overall, recommended!

Parking around here is not easy, the parking situation in this area is tricky, also if you will be drinking you should not be driving here anyways so do not worry about parking. a super nice thing here is that they have free wifi!!! such a treat! they have outside and inside sitting, a cool decadent decor with plenty dollar bills tacked to the ceiling looks pretty fun. They have some fun American style drinks like Long Island ice tea and things of that nature here too. The service is a hit or miss, one of our waitresses was very weird and somewhat rude on her way to serve us. Funny enough they provided 2 menus for 6 people and the waitress expected us to know what we wanted in like 2 minutes..... HOW???? 2 menus lady! I got a easy drink not anything signature.... for food: GARLIC BREAD- that was pretty delicious, a lot of butter an flavour! I am glad I got this appetiser and surely recommend OSCAR`S BURGER- I apologise if hat is not the correct name but it is the burger with bacon and an egg. it is perfect!!! tastes so good and it was cooked for perfection. the place is ok, I will not come back just cause of the service but the for is pretty ok to try.

Unfortunately, by the time I made it to Oscar's Irish Bar and Grill, I had already eaten dinner at the USO, where the Gary Sinese Foundation was sponsoring an Italian dinner from Salvatore's restaurant for the troops. Since I already did a review of Salvatore's less than three weeks ago, I cannot do another one. However, it was delicious. Since I was hungry, I went to a Oscar's Irish Bar and Grill, where I had to take a picture of the mat and the Air Force beer for my former boss and well as have another Kilkenny to toast a good friend. They actually have an extensive menu with my favorite bangers and mash and they serve and Irish breakfast and an Irish big breakfast with white and black puddings. I will definitely be back here on a future trip.

Nice atmosphere, it’s a bar with food. Service is good. They speak English. Nice outside seating area, but the menu is very limited. They have burgers, a couple of sandwiches, a couple of Irish plates, and breakfast. My husband really likes the fish and chips, but we don’t go often unless we want the same thing over and over. Overall an okay place. Prices are fair.

Great burgers, really good service and a cozy spot to meet people and enjoy a few beers. Can be a bit noisy in the evening time, but if you are in the right mood, its hard to find a better way to enjoy some cold beers. Great outdoor environment when the weather is great, but inside is absolute also both cozy and neat. We randomly pass by for a burger and a few beers on our walks downtown.

After arriving in Landstuhl and needing a place to eat and drink, we found Oscar's. Oscar's Chicken Pie and fish and chips are really tasty food and prepared well. Great atmosphere and a really good selections of drinks. We'll be back.

I had a meat pie. It was okay. Many Americans eat here. I found it to be just okay. The crust on the pie was okay and the filling was okay. The potatoes were okay also. The place was not dirty but not clean either.

As probably hard as it seems, we wanted a break from the incredibly wonderful German food we had been feasting on. We saw Oscars while walking around Landstuhl earlier in the day and decided to give it a whirl. This is not a family place...

Great place to sit on the patio with a beverage. Food was average for pub fare. They do have a small kid's menu and area for them to play on the patio.

I was visiting my niece who was stationed at Ramstein Air Base and this was one of her favorite local spots to eat and enjoy a beer. I had to agree after finishing my meal. The food was delicious and the drinks were nicely priced....
