Having recently moved to northern Germany I have been seeking out restaurants that sell something other than sausages and beer or Döner kebab. This restauant was recommended to me by some locals and being desperate for some new food I gave it a try today. It bills itself as a Vietnamese restaurant but doesn't even have Pho on the menu. Seems to try to be all things asian to all people. I opted for a wonton soup for openers. Small bowl of soup, average clear stock. Some small mushroom slices, two pieces of broccoli that still had a bit of crunch and three wontons. The wontons were large (two bites each) and filled with some sort of white ground meat mixture. It was better than I had expected. Next came the fried noodles with pork. The was a large portion with plenty of meat slices, carrots, onions and cabbage. One unanticipated plus was the presence of what Cantonese call "wok heh" (often translated as "breath of the wok"). A flavor derived from the food contacting a VERY hot wok. That was a plus. The noodles looked a lot like spaghetti and were cooked al dente - another plus. In summary this place probably as good as can be expected in this area. I'll go back again when I'm needing something Asian like.

My partner and I visited this restaurant for dinner when the restaurant at the hotel we were staying in at the next village was not open on a Sunday evening. This place opened at 6.00pm. The décor is traditional Chinese restaurant - dragon carvings, jade ornaments, lanterns, flowers, etc, etc. We had a special offer menu, 43 Euros for two people. The starter was battered prawns with a sweet chilli sauce, this was followed by two copious dishes plus boiled rice for the main course, a mixture of meat and prawns in one, and superb sliced crispy duck in the other, both placed on a candle heater tray in the middle of the table. Dessert consisted of banana fritters and ice cream. Drinks were reasonably priced, including the local beer on tap. Service was a bit slow, probably due to a large family group arriving minutes before us and therefore getting priority service, but it wasn't unacceptable, and the waitresses were all pleasant and attentive, even spoke rudimentary English to us when our German wasn't up to scratch! Parking can be found right outside the restaurant, in front of the hairdresser premises next door. All in all, a recommended place for good Chinese food in rural Germany!

Freundliche Bedienung, Gute Auswahl an asiatischen Spezialitäten.

Very good chinese food. The portion is just right and their price are reasonable. You also get unlimited rice too. I recommend their stir fried pork with assorted vegetables - Yumm! 👍

We came without a reservation, and even though it was pretty full, they still found us a spot quickly. The pizza was really delicious - both the dough and the toppings were plentiful and well balanced. The staff was very friendly and the prices are really fair. We'll definitely be back!

Always great, we love being there and are always very satisfied. Very good price-performance ratio. Registration is safe as weekends are usually fully booked.

Unfortunately a complete disappointment. Unfortunately, that was the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. My husband had the duck which was almost entirely fat. He tried a bite and stopped eating. I was a little more lucky and had a few edible pieces of meat on my plate, but halfway through I was done eating too. The prices border on outrageous. We are from Hamburg so used to eating out is expensive. We were there with 2 children and paid 94 euros. Unfortunately that's not ok for what we got. When I asked the service person about it, the answer I got was: We don't feed the ducks. Since I didn't feel like getting into trouble that day, I accepted it. Maybe we were just unlucky that day and it wasn't the case otherwise.
