It's been a long time since I've had a really good kebab. Freshly made bread, good filling, tasty meat, and fresh vegetables. The sauces weren't just standard, they were truly delicious!

Super delicious kebab. Unfortunately, the current price of €8 is a bit too high for a medium-sized kebab. I've bought food here several times. Unfortunately, the wait times are really annoying; sometimes I've had to wait 15-25 minutes for a kebab, even after ordering by phone!

One of the best kebabs I've ever eaten. It's on the high end, and not the biggest, but the flavor (veal) is incredibly good, the vegetables are very fresh, the sauce is delicious, and there's even a hint of lemon. Simply delicious. We also had a bowl to go with it, which was also very good. The staff was friendly and cheerful and let us try the sauces for the dressing. Excellent!

It used to be really good. To shorten the wait, they recommend ordering online. Tried it twice now. The first time, the order was mixed up and I had to turn around in the car. Then I waited another 15 minutes. The second time, they arrived 5 minutes later than stated. Didn't even start ordering. He only printed out the slip when I said I had ordered. The people are nice, but the organization isn't that good. The food has declined considerably since it opened, from a mega kebab to a solid kebab that's slightly better than average (if that). A shame. Will try something else in the future.

Unfortunately, things are often forgotten, and despite pick-up times, you still have to wait at least 10 minutes. For example, when ordering a kebab plate, you have to include cutlery! Napkins are definitely not included. We enjoyed eating here, but since they're missing from every order, despite mentioning them, we're unfortunately not coming back.

Ordered food online, paid, and set a pickup time. When I arrived, the food wasn't ready. There were technical problems with the meat cutting machine. No apology. Instead, a flippant remark: "You ordered these few things." Apparently, customers didn't need it. Compared to the last few times, there was significantly less meat in the food. This was probably because they wanted to process the backlogged orders as quickly as possible with the broken machine. Other customers who also placed orders online and for a specific time were simply ignored. You have to be able to afford this ignorance and arrogance. If you order for a specific time, there's a reason. It really put me under a lot of time pressure. Overall, the food tasted okay. Nothing special.

I was very surprised today that you can get such delicious alternatives in a kebab shop, and the boss even immediately conjured up something vegan and gluten-free. THANK YOU for that. The boss puts his heart and soul into making his customers happy. He also has a very big heart for socially disadvantaged people. Ordered a doner box. Was charged incorrectly. 40 minutes of waiting time, and then the 11-year-old boy was told they were out of meat. The father then complained about the situation. The staff became rude and rude. Never again.

We spontaneously went to Uncle Ali's today. We ordered a kebab. It was delicious and the wait wasn't long. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. 5 stars. We'll be back.

The doner kebab was delicious: fresh vegetables, tasty sauce, good meat (I had veal/beef), and the bread was homemade, perfectly complementing the doner. The atmosphere is truly top-notch. Unfortunately, I had to wait a bit due to a pre-order, but I was able to watch the staff preparing bowls and other dishes. They looked delicious and I'll definitely try them next time. In addition to doner kebabs, yufka, pizza, and the like, they also offer many vegan and vegetarian dishes. The prices are the same as at other doner kebab shops, perhaps even a little cheaper. You can pay by card, order online, or call in advance—a modern doner kebab shop. The staff were very friendly, accommodating, and fun. I'd be happy to come back. :)

If this place weren't in such a great location, it would have gone bankrupt long ago. The veal at the yufka was gristly and tough. The price was way too high.

Listed kebab that I know so recommendable

The veal doner tastes really good, nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, the portion was so small that a normal adult would hardly feel full. Very disappointing. My wife had a chicken yufka, which was heavier than my doner, but consisted essentially of salad. There was hardly any meat; it could have been sold as a vegetarian yufka. A real shame. Conclusion: With larger portions and a more balanced ratio of meat to salad, "Uncle Ali" would have real potential. Unfortunately, this leaves us with nothing but disappointment. Great taste. Poor value for money.

Uncle Ali alone is worth coming to Backnang. I have been visiting this store for about 3.5 years and have always thought nothing but good things about this store. The ingredients they offer are so high quality that it's hard to describe in words. But I have to briefly talk about the bread. These homemade kebab breads are incredible. This fluffiness, crunchiness and at the same time this juiciness is a different level of quality. Just wow. The meat is brutally good. The ambience is very appealing. Although it is in the middle of Backnang, it is still very pleasantly located. The service is great and very modern. In my opinion, the shop offers the best kebab you could get. The vegetarian/vegan selection is also great and bigger than you might think. The bowls are brutally good and the pizzas are also a 10/10. The employees are really nice people and greet you with a smile. Overall, Uncle Ali is the perfect visit on every level. If you don't visit Uncle Ali you have missed something in life.

ATTENTION DEFAULT PACKAGING!! Doner is very small and price very high! You are sent out with a beeper and after a short time you get what appears to be a ready-made kebab ready to take with you. Very good kebab with a large selection of ingredients. The meat is not overly seasoned, but could be a little juicier. The bread is perfect. A classic baker couldn't have done this better. Wow, I've actually been a bit of a kebab eater before, but I asked the teenagers outside the shop for their opinion, and three out of four said it was the best kebab in town. What can I say? I haven't found a better kebab in Germany yet. Very fresh, very tasty, with plenty of everything. They didn't skimp on the ingredients, and the sauces were a real explosion of flavor. The highlight and deciding factor for ordering this was the homemade bread 🥖😋 The staff were very friendly, and the shop was clean and attractive! My husband couldn't stop by on this kebab on the way home... we'd love to go back to Backnang for another kebab 😊

I'm absolutely thrilled! As soon as you enter, you notice that freshness and quality are very important here. The meat was perfectly seasoned, tender and juicy - no comparison to standard kebab shops. The bread was also crispy and fresh and the sauces were simply on point. Particularly positive: the vegetables were crisp and super fresh, as if they had just been cut. What made it even better was the extremely friendly staff. You are not just checked in here - you are warmly welcomed, served quickly and said goodbye with a smile. If you are in Backnang and are looking for really good kebab, you should definitely stop by Uncle Ali. Number 1 for me from now on!

Price/performance ratio poor! good meat & bread! mostly... please treat your customers to a good portion of veal! + please make the fresh bread crispy too! + please also make the fries crispy! the store itself unfortunately has no seats... + no toilet... & the service has potential! A dish well served makes a friendly guest... many dishes including chatter with many customers at the same time ensure that the dishes do not reach the customer as desired... Bottom line... Yesterday, Thursday, January 2nd, 2025, I bought a kebab there again. I have to say, the taste of the meat was bad for the second time in a row. In addition, the meat was cut too thick. And apparently the meat was also a bit raw. And there was a lack of spices. It's a shame, at the beginning I was always very satisfied. The atmosphere is really good, the store is always clean and the staff is always friendly. But it's a shame that the quality has declined. I won't get kebab there anymore.

Didn't want to write a review the first time, I've gotten something more often now. Unfortunately my conclusion is not positive. I bought a chicken bowl and there was very little chicken in it. Unfortunately the pizza was burnt (see picture). The Chicken Yufka kebab contained almost only red cabbage, unfortunately no grilled vegetables at all. So today when I bought a veggie kebab I said straight away that I didn't want any red cabbage. There was a lot of iceberg lettuce in it, and as grilled vegetables, which is what makes the veggie kebab, I only had 1x slice of zucchini, 1x eggplant and two small pieces of red pepper 😒. Basically it was a very expensive sandwich (€7.90) 🫤 It's a shame, I didn't consciously jump to conclusions, but I'm really disappointed. I won't buy anything there again.
