I am currently experiencing legal action at this restaurant via an internet lawyer to get rid of bad reviews. It's just embarrassing that you can't accept constructive criticism. Reviews like the following are objected to and accused of defamation at Google. My original review said: “Addendum: Ordered again today: sushi and chicken crispy coconut milk. We have never experienced such a disappointment here: chicken too tough and the breading is sometimes hard, so that it almost looks like a bone. The coconut sauce has no taste and is like water. The rice is dry. We don't know what has changed since the last time we ordered (we always order the same), but we wouldn't order again this way. Only the sushi tasted good. We've been to the restaurant once and ordered twice. Every time we were very satisfied. The food is incredibly tasty, the portions are never too small and it arrives hot when delivered. The supplier and the service on site were also always friendly!”

Went here for lunch with colleagues. Highly recommended! Nice atmosphere, very good service and perfect food (sushi, duck, tuna medium!!). We'll be back!

Called the restaurant at 9:15 p.m. and asked how long the kitchen would be open, as closing time was stated as 10 p.m. The information was until 9:30 p.m. When we arrived 5 minutes after calling (me on crutches!) the door was locked and the employees made no attempt to at least come to the door. Another couple would also have to leave hungry. So I didn't taste the food, but it was an extremely disappointing experience, especially after I called again.

We actually really enjoy being there. The food is good. Today we ordered something and the service was very poor. We didn't want to cook on New Year's Eve, so we ordered in advance by phone and had to wait. 1. Our name wasn't included when we ordered, which is why we didn't get the right food when we picked it up. We then ordered a wine and waited (we paid for the wine ourselves!)2. The food came, but was it from the chefs? (The man had a Lieferando shirt) it wasn't clear whether the record was complete. 3. Vegan dishes and fish and meat dishes were packed together on the other plate. It was hard to tell them apart without trying. The conclusion: you should eat locally instead. Maybe it was because the boss wasn't there. We definitely won't order there again

The food tasted very good, but the service was really subpar tonight. Nothing was cleared on the very narrow table for ages, so we ourselves moved utensils onto the free neighboring table so that we could sit comfortably. It was ignored that our drinks had been empty for half an hour, we were not asked if we would like something else to drink and not whether it was tasty. We also had to wait a long time to pay, despite asking and having wallets on the table. Too expensive for such service!

It was a great experience at OnDao. Food and service really great. Come back soon.

We recently ordered here via Lieferando. I don't eat meat and took one of the lunch dishes. Labeled as “fried noodles and vegetables”. Unfortunately it ended up with chicken. After all, I paid 10.50 and couldn't really eat it. I called and they said they were having problems with Lieferando and it wasn't listed correctly. I should have looked at the website instead. It would be right there... I see it differently. As a service provider, you have to check whether it works properly when you use Lieferando's service/offer it to customers. The lady on the phone was generally very annoyed. I didn't find it comprehensible because I couldn't have known better and relied on the information. Well, 10 euros invested in knowing where I won't leave my money in the future.

We have ordered food several times and have always been very satisfied. All ingredients are fresh, vegetables are crunchy and tasty. Telephone contact is always very friendly and courteous. Unfortunately, we haven't managed to come by in person to report on the atmosphere. :)

If you order “fried noodles with three different types of meat (chicken, duck, beef)”, you get fried noodles with chicken in a crispy crust, which is supposed to remind you of “duck”. No trace of beef. Very disappointing for an establishment with such high prices. I will order somewhere else next time.

Stopped here spontaneously yesterday. We were given a very friendly welcome and were allowed to choose a table. Our food was super delicious 😋. The portion was generous and everything was well prepared.

The sushi creations are very special and an experience every time. The other dishes are also highly recommended. The staff always tried very hard and friendly. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. Please keep it up.

Very nice atmosphere, friendly staff and a very clean restaurant. The quality of the food is also really perfect. I had delicious crunchy vegetables and tender chicken on my plate with a spicy teriyaki sauce and fried noodles. The price-performance ratio is great. A homemade lemonade rounds off the meal. I would love to come back here.

The paneer in the biryani had already gone bad because it tasted/smelled sour. That's why I called. The crispy duck was very tough and looked like it had been reheated or kept warm for a long time. The flesh was already dark gray. Still 3 stars because I ordered several times, initially very happy with the quality but it constantly decreased.

Unfortunately delivery time is very, very long. Ordered 1 hour ago and still not there after 2 hours. After 2 calls they said the driver was on the way. And the food is still not there after 2 hours. Too bad

After a long time we were able to experience authentic Asian cuisine. Was now at On Dao for the third time and especially the 2 Indian dishes on the menu are excellent. You don't find this taste particularly often in Germany.

You can't decide. The selection is incredibly delicious. Normally extensive. Everything is freshly prepared and visually very appealing. Poke bowl, sushi, ramen and much more. The homemade lemonades are great! I tried 2 straight away. Very friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere. I definitely come here more often.

Had dinner here with my girlfriend today and we were very impressed by the ambience and the good food. The staff very friendly and accommodating. We can definitely recommend it.

Update July 24: Since the very nice Asian manager no longer works here, there are more staff on site, but service is not the least bit practiced. You sit (unfortunately now standard) for a good 20 minutes without a menu or drinks, even though there are only 6 guests (and 2 service staff) on site. The staff is nice and professional, but highly inefficient and everything takes forever without you even being able to understand why. When asked about this, an apology is made. Nothing has changed, so we rarely come anymore. There are enough other alternatives of equal quality with much better service. It's a shame because the food is still very good. Very good food, unfortunately a little surprise every time, which you get despite the identical dish from the last time. Service under the leadership of the Asian colleague is very good, but temporary staff is unfortunately a strenuous task. Waiting times are relatively long if you come around 8 p.m. So it's better to come before or after. Prices are relatively high, but the food is always very tasty

We were there with 3 people, the starter soups and main courses were excellent. The staff was very friendly and served us without waiting. Only the wine was stored at a low temperature (very cold), as is typical in the US, but to complain about that would be petty. We will come back.

The shop looks nice. The service, super friendly. Unfortunately we had to wait 45 minutes for our food and two other tables were occupied with us. Notice that the couple who came after us got their food way before us. All in all, you definitely can't go wrong. The food was tasty, but I wouldn't "travel" specifically for the restaurant. There are certainly just as good ones right around the corner. Another negative point that just occurred to me and is really a waste of money - drinks can only be ordered from a 0.2 liter glass bottle (Cola, Spezi, water). The drink is already empty twice after waiting 45 minutes. Aiii (:

Highly recommended! The food is absolutely top notch, and the style is also something different. The wonton soup is super delicious. Then there was duck. Brownies for dessert. Absolute disaster! Much asked €, little offered! The soup served at the beginning met my taste expectations, but the sparing use of the meat side dish was noticeable! The shortage of meat resources continued with the main course. The chicken we ordered was, if anything, half a chicken breast, butchered! I can't recommend stopping here!

We have probably ordered food from Ondao over 10 times because we are very satisfied with the quality and taste. Definitely our #1. There is also something special here. The food is always beautifully prepared. But above all, the taste is really the best. Our favorites are the Momos, the Salmon Bowl or Ceviche Mixed Seafood… these are just small recommendations. We will continue to try out the card.

Super delicious on site, but we just had it delivered and the food came completely leaking in the bags. And the worst thing I've ever seen is that the plastic packaging at the bottom was melted by the crispy chicken. Simply melted plastic flavor! They just refund the chicken and I guess they don't believe it. Here is the photo of it:

I sometimes get sushi here to take home. They are really delicious. Now I got two dishes with duck for the first time and was very, very disappointed. The duck was ok. The vegetables that came with it were boiled to a pulp and the color wasn't very appetizing. Conclusion: Only the really delicious sushi

We were really looking forward to the shop and the evening. Unfortunately it was a big disappointment!!!! The older man in service was so unfriendly and didn't even want to explain his dishes! He seemed annoyed and very overwhelmed. What I also found very annoying was that he couldn't lift his feet, yes, that sounds strange, but when the good gentleman drags himself around the store all evening, it's not a nice feeling. The food was really not good for us, without love, without spices and everything was just warm. With a sushi roll with baked chicken, you can expect it to be a little warm... Unfortunately the fridge was cold :( other guests also simply got up and left because they simply weren't served. All in all, we'll definitely be back not again!!!!!! Addendum: No, the food was not eaten! More than half went back to me. No one asked us for 25 minutes whether it tasted good or whether we were satisfied. You just felt that the Lord didn't really care whether you were happy or not!!!!! I've been working in the catering industry for 25 years and was a restaurant manager for 10 years, I think I know what I'm talking about. Thank you for your time and I wish you all the best.

Terrible. Really not recommended. The food and drinks were great, but the service was a disaster. We had to wait a very long time for everything, even though there were only a few people in the restaurant who had already received their food. The waiter annoyed us a bit by constantly making comments as we walked past. This experience is not recommended.

Edit: ich wurde nach dem Abgeben der Bewertung von der Restaurantbesitzerin gedemütigt und negativ auf die Bewertung angesprochen. Die Telefonnummer hat sie einfach aus den hinterlegten Lieferandodaten genommen. Was eine Frechheit! Ich darf doch wohl meine Meinung sagen. Das war wohl das letzte mal bei Ondao nachdem ich hier seit Eröffnung bestimmt 20-30 mal gegessen habe, ich traue mich nicht mehr hier zu essen.. Originale Bewertung: Preis-Leistung nicht vorhanden! Zu sehen auf dem Bild ist was ich für 13,40€ (!!) bei einer Bestellung erhalten habe. Ja, wie in vielen anderen Bewertungen gemeint ist es kein Imbiss und die Qualität ist gut, aber die Portion ist wirklich sehr klein. Das sashimi war jedoch fantastisch, daher 3 Sterne. Bestellt hier aber kein Sushi, das lohnt sich nicht!

Haben hier unsere Weihnachtsfeier mit 28 Personen veranstaltet, die Oranisation von seitens OnDao und der Geschäftsleitung war excellent. Das Essen, der Service und das Ambiete war hervorragend. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis war super. Ab 21 Uhr hatten wir eine Geschlossene Veranstaltung und konnten hier mit eigener Musik für richtig Stimmung sorgen. Alles in einem sind alle Glücklich nach Hause gegangen. Fazit: Wir kommen nächstes Jahr wieder ! Absolute Besuchs Empfehlung !!!

Ein nobles Sushi Restaurant, mit großer Auswahl. Im Raum Bergedorf ist das geschmacklich die Nr. 1 unter den Sushi Restaurants. Wer seine Freundin auf ein tolles Date einladen möchte, sollte es bei Ondau versuchen. Zum Wochenende aber natürlich am besten ein Tisch vorab reservieren.

Sehr freundliches und zu vorkommenden Personal. Auch gegenüber Kindern super lieb. Das Essen war sehr lecker und mit viel Liebe zubereitet.

Man wird satt, mehr aber auch nicht. Da ich selbst sehr gut kochen kann, hat mir das Essen nicht besonders gut geschmeckt. Curry wenig gewürzt. Die Portionen an sich ausreichend. Mangosalat bestand nur aus Mango und Zwiebeln, nicht wirklich lecker.

Sehr freundlich und top Essen. Viel Auswahl an Sushi Varianten, aber auch andere asiatische/indische Speisen. Der Kellner war super freundlich und zuvorkommend, nur war er alleine was natürlich dann dazu führt das es länger dauert, aber alles mit ganz viele Ruhe umd Freundlichkeit. Das Essen war Super, bei uns hatte eine Sushi und der andere Ramen. Die Auswahl ist enorm und daher schwierig. Es gibt aber auch gemischte Platten. Definitiv einen Besuch wert.

Ich muss ja gestehen das ich echt überrascht war. Erster Gedanke ging in die Richtung Nobelrestaurant und unfreundlich wenn man nur mal eine Frage hat aber der gute Herr war freundlich und nett das wir spontan entschlossen haben dort zu essen ( eigentlich wollte unser jüngster nur zur Toilette) das essen war Mega lecker und super freundlich sogar den Namen von unserem Zwerg hat er sich gemerkt. Bei der Bestellung hat er Vorschläge gemacht wie es am besten schmeckt. Wir sind einfach begeistert und wenn wir mal wieder in der Nähe sind kommen wir sicherlich wieder. Wir gehen immer wieder sehr gern zu OnDao, egal ob zu zweit oder mit mehreren Freunden. Super Qualität, nettes Personal, gerechtfertigte Preise.

Einfach nur lecker lecker, für uns das beste essen überhaupt. Ich habe einen empfindlichen Magen und muss immer aufpassen. Aber hier kann ich genüsslich essen, ohne Probleme zu haben. Einfach köstlich. Hoffe der Laden bleibt für immer.🙏 Danke für so leckeres essen.
