Everything was delicious. It just lacked a certain Greek atmosphere.

Hi, the decor is a bit dated, but the food and service were fantastic. We were treated like regulars. The prices seemed reasonable. The Metaxa sauce was incredibly delicious, the meat was juicy, and they even included a salad. All in all, we had a great time and will definitely be back.

The food was okay, but unfortunately, the price was too high. One dish (gyros) was undercooked and therefore inedible. The service was a bit slow. The true Olympia of yesteryear is sadly gone. We've been going here for several years, and it has to be said that it has steadily declined. There's significantly less value (smaller portions, no ouzo, etc.) for more money. Unfortunately, it's not what it used to be. This positive rating is only due to the consistently good service over the years. Perhaps it was just an off day.

A nice Greek restaurant within walking distance of the old town. Very loud today. The food is tasty, but the meat dishes are almost impossible to finish. After a short wait, we were seated, then immediately got our drinks and order. It took a little longer because I had ordered an appetizer and the others hadn't mentioned it. I think anyone who comes here often will probably warm up to the place. The staff is friendly but not very efficient. Drinks were rather slammed down. The usual ouzo was offered at the end—the only positive aspect. These days, younger people do things better and ask about benefits first before asking what the "job" is—it's essential.

Every year it's the same. Very good food, friendly staff, good, plentiful portions. It's a bit cramped inside, and during small group celebrations it can get a little loud and disruptive for others. There was also a heated, covered outdoor area, which I didn't sit in this year.

Well... okay, we got a table at short notice and the food tasted alright. But that's where the positives end. The food was presented rather carelessly; the side salad was so small it could fit on two forks and was drowning in dressing. The side bread was a cheap, pre-baked roll from a discount store. The young man in black sweatpants and sneakers just slapped the food down on the table with the same lack of care. It was initially placed there, but we had to get it ourselves. The service and service deserve a D-. The ambiance was unpleasant, with a brown, 90s feel. They definitely need to invest in this place. For what it was, the prices were too high, sorry. Not recommended.

We've been going to Olympia for years 👍! The food is very good, and the service team is very friendly and attentive! Even today, on St. Nicholas Day 2025, we ate there again!!! The Cretan potatoes 🥔 and the tzatziki were delicious. We're vegetarians and had a wonderful meal.

We managed to get a table spontaneously, which was truly a stroke of luck on a holiday. The food was plentiful, but I personally found the rice on my plate a bit too salty. The service was consistently extremely friendly. We felt very comfortable.

Divinely the best restaurant in the entire city of Goslar! It was a family tradition that we ate here 2-4 times a year. These days, we're there much less often, not even annually, but that has nothing to do with them. I hope to be back before you're gone—I'm 29, after all! :o His tzatziki is so uniquely delicious that my dad once asked for the recipe, which he kindly wrote down for us. That's why you're so excited for the starter alone—the salad is delicious, too. All four of us have a different dish, which we like so much that we always order the same one! The ambiance is truly Greek, the atmosphere, the decor, and of course, the food! You can even chat with Nico, if he has the time and you're interested, about Greek food and even talk to gods. For my special birthday, I ordered and picked up food from Olympia (catering). From the telephone consultation/order to the pickup, and of course, even the taste, everything was fantastic! We highly recommend ordering from here or eating there directly...The food was beautifully presented, and the taste was like being back on vacation in Rhodes.

It's been a long time since we've eaten there, and it's still as delicious as ever. All the staff are consistently friendly and accommodating. Sure, the prices have gone up, but you get what you pay for :-).

Great, family-friendly restaurant. Making a spontaneous reservation was no problem. The baked gyro with garlic sauce is definitely recommended. 👍🏻 There are five free parking spaces at the restaurant, and you can also find one on the surrounding side streets (fees apply until 6:00 PM).

It was pretty standard, unfortunately the gyros is served with fries without any sauce, which I find a bit confusing.... Not even tzatziki was included, but it was worth the experience.

The food was like being in Greece. The prices are also great. Octopus salad was €18. Steak, I tell you, was amazing, only €26. The steak was like butter. They serve salad separately and serve it with really great warm bread. Always that's how Greek should be. Thank you.

This was our first time eating here again in a long time since the ownership changed. You have to say, we haven't eaten so well in a long time, the food was really delicious! The service (the owner himself) was very nice, and of course we also told him the compliment that we hadn't eaten so well in a long time. He was very, very sweet.

We were there on Sunday with the family (10 people). It's a cozy restaurant, it has several rooms so you can always sit a little to yourself. The staff is very nice and friendly. I ordered the Iniochos plate (No. 67), which is suflaki, gyros, fries and rice, but I ordered the plate with fried potatoes and a small salad was served with it. As a starter, tzatziki was served with small rolls, which were really tasty. The whole meal was delicious and everyone enjoyed it. Anyone who didn't finish their plate was given a box to pack if they wanted. Very small point of criticism: the table decoration, if you put fish flowers on it, then they should be fresh and not withered and dry. One can argue about the wipeable tablecloths. I don't think it's that fancy, but everything was clean. Price performance fits. We paid €55 for 2 main courses, 1 tzatziki, 2 drinks. And there was also an ouzo on the house. We had a lovely evening. Thanks

I was there twice, both times the restaurant was well attended, but each time I quickly found a place for two. Friendly, good service, we also found the food (I had one of the grilled plates without liver) very tasty. The prices are reasonable and I would happily eat there again.

We got a place for 2 hours on New Year's Eve. All the seats were occupied and yet the food was on the table super quickly. Everyone was in a good mood despite the strenuous conditions. The pepperoni could have stayed in the pan a little longer. Therefore this time “only” 4 out of 5 stars. Otherwise everything was great as always.

Very large restaurant with lots of seats, it's best to book a table in advance. Due to the good attendance there was a lot to do. We had plenty of time and had a good time. Toilets were clean. The staff sometimes lacked an overview, but otherwise we felt comfortable.

Yesterday we spontaneously went to see Nico at Olympia again. The restaurant was almost completely full and we were unable to make a reservation at such short notice. And: Ruben - I have no idea how he managed it - 'shoveled' two places for us. Super good campaign that shows how important satisfied guests are to him! We ordered Iniochos plates with a special request: Suzuki instead of souflaki. After a surprisingly short time - as I said: the restaurant was completely full - our food arrived. Quantity: simply great! Quality: 1 A! Even the French fries were a poem! We were absolutely thrilled and are already looking forward to our next visit!

We were there without a reservation. The restaurant was very busy and there was no free table for us. We were asked if we would take a table in the winter garden. It wasn't necessarily comfortable, but still completely ok. Extra heaters were also turned on. The food was very tasty and sufficient. The service was very friendly despite the many guests. We would come again.
