We celebrated my wife's 50th birthday with Ruben in the Olympia. We felt very welcome from the start. The service is very attentive and friendly. The food was simply a pleasure. We have visited many Greek restaurants, but this is the best of the overall package. We will definitely stop by Olympia when we are in Goslar again. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I would say Olympia is my favorite Greek place in the area. The meat is beautifully tender and juicy. Tzatziki tastes delicious and the portions are more than generous for the price. The staff is always super friendly. Always happy 😊💯

The Olympia thrives on good food and Ruben, the always cheerful owner. Fast service and short waiting times. In summer there is also a chic outdoor area. Since the restaurant is known beyond Goslar, reservations must be made. There are few parking spaces available.

Very large restaurant with lots of seats, it's best to book a table in advance. Due to the good attendance there was a lot to do. We had plenty of time and had a good time. Toilets were clean. The staff sometimes lacked an overview, but otherwise we felt comfortable.

We were a family. Delicious food, especially liked the Gyrospfännchen. There is also a varied children's menu. There are high chairs for children. It is advisable to book in advance, but we were given one table on the day of booking. The atmosphere in the restaurant is family Greek. It is possible to pay by card.

Yesterday we spontaneously went to see Nico at Olympia again. The restaurant was almost completely full and we were unable to make a reservation at such short notice. And: Ruben - I have no idea how he managed it - 'shoveled' two places for us. Super good campaign that shows how important satisfied guests are to him! We ordered Iniochos plates with a special request: Suzuki instead of souflaki. After a surprisingly short time - as I said: the restaurant was completely full - our food arrived. Quantity: simply great! Quality: 1 A! Even the French fries were a poem! We were absolutely thrilled and are already looking forward to our next visit!

We were there without a reservation. The restaurant was very busy and there was no free table for us. We were asked if we would take a table in the winter garden. It wasn't necessarily comfortable, but still completely ok. Extra heaters were also turned on. The food was very tasty and sufficient. The service was very friendly despite the many guests. We would come again.

Good Greek restaurant with very friendly service. The food was super good and the portions more than sufficient. If you like Greek food, this is a winner.

We have already tested many Greeks, but none are as good as the Olympia in Goslar. I would say the best Greek in the world. The most delicious are the Cretan potatoes, which I have never seen from any other Greek. The friendly service is also great. So if you're in Goslar, you should definitely go to the Olympia.

My wife and I visited the Olympia restaurant for the first time on May 25th, 2024 - we were immediately thrilled - the food (Gyros plate + Iniochos plate) was GREAT and the price-performance ratio was right - only the meals were far too much - but can be recommended - when we are there - again and again.

Super delicious food and the boss Ruben is very accommodating and nice. We recommend.

About once a year I go here when I visit my mum. I have the same dish every time - Gyrospfanne mit Metaxasauce. At my latest visit today the dish has been even better than all the visits before and I can say it has been one of the best meals I have ever had in my life! It was amazing! 🥰

Our favorite Greek restaurant is like a culinary trip to Greece right on our doorstep. The atmosphere is welcoming, the food is delicious and the staff is always friendly and attentive. We feel at home here and can't wait to come back!

Price-performance ratio fits. Meals cost between 15 and 20 euros. Staff is attentive and friendly. We were lucky to get a table for 6 people on Saturday evening. But I would recommend reservation.

Luckily we were welcomed without a reservation. Inconspicuous from the outside but beautifully decorated inside. Very nice staff and good food. Gladly again.

I can only partially understand the good reviews here. The ambience is a bit dark but typical of a Greek restaurant but a bit cluttered with decorations. The food, however, was less authentic for Greece. The pork fillet was gratinated with a tomato, something you would more likely find in Italian cuisine. Not everyone is a fan of it and it should be noted on the menu. The calamari was fried and not natural. This cannot be found on the menu either. The pork in particular was overly seasoned and way too salty. The starters (Tirosalata & Tzaziki) were good. All in all, it wasn't a highlight in terms of taste or quality.

It was our first time there and the service was not only very friendly, but also very quick. Unfortunately I have to deduct one point for the food because it was too salty for me. The portions are quite large. Therefore you should choose a small appetizer 😜. The warm starters of eggplant and pepperoni are highly recommended, as are the stuffed grape leaves.

We've been here several times and every time the food was very good no matter what we ordered. You should budget €20 for a main course but that is also justified. Even spontaneously as a couple, we always got a table here without reserving in advance. The employees are all very accommodating and the atmosphere is also very nice.

Wir waren ein paar Tage nach Weihnachten da mit einer großen Gruppe von 20 Leuten. Wir haben den Tisch erst am Tag selbst gegen Mittag reserviert, da unsere ursprüngliche Reservierung ins Wasser gefallen ist, und waren aufgrund dessen sehr positiv überrascht, überhaupt noch einen Tisch bekommen zu haben. Vor Ort wurden wir dann nochmal überrascht. Uns wurde ein großer, abgelegener Tisch liebevoll vorbereitet, sodass wir unsere Ruhe haben konnten. Die Bedienung war extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Essen herausragend, getoppt vom Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Alles in allem ein großartiger und vor allem spontaner Besuch. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Im "Olympia" isst man immer gut. Schade das es auf der Weihnachtskarte kein Rezept mit Leber gab!? Die Preise sind doch deutlich angezogen, dafür sind die Portionen sehr großzügig (lieber weniger, dafür aber günstiger!?)

Im Urlaub in Goslar waren wir bei Olympia zum Abendessen. Das Ambiente des Restaurants war in Ordnung aber insgesamt recht eng von Tisch zu Tisch. Die Speisekarte bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas von Fisch bis Fleisch ist alles zu finden. Sehr zu empfehlen ist das Lammfilet und kretanische Kartoffeln und das Suflaki mit Metaxa sauce. Die Bedienung war ausgezeichnet, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ebenso ist es dort sehr kinderfreundlich. Der Babybrei für unseren Sohn wurde ohne Probleme in der Küche erwärmt. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und werden bei unserem nächsten Besuch in Goslar wieder dort einkehren. Vielen lieben Dank an das Restaurant Team.

Wir waren vor Weihnachten dort Essen und es war voll, sassen 1,5 Std und haben auf unser Essen gewartet.Nach 2 mal nachfrage warum wir nichts bekommen und die Leute die um uns saßen haben gegessen und auch schon bezahlt wurde uns gesagt das wir vergessen wurden .Wir sassen im Witergarten direkt am Tresen keine hat uns gefragt ob wir n ein Wunsch haben ,die Bedienung lief bei uns ständig vorbei. Zwei nal fragten wir nach dem Essen wo es den bleibt ,dann kamm jemand und sagte Entschuldigung Das Essen war übrigens Sehr lecker ein lob für die Küche

Bitte Update beachten: Super lecker. Kann man nur empfehlen. Wir sind bis jetzt immer sehr zufrieden. Das Essen und der Service sind gut. Toller Inhaber. Wenn "Grieche", dann Olympia bei Niko. UPDATE 11/2023: Nach etwas längerer Zeit mal wieder dort gewesen. Das Restaurant war gegen 18:30 Uhr schon sehr gut besucht. Wir hatten einen Tisch für neun Personen reserviert und wurden durch den "Wintergarten" in einen angrenzenden Raum, der mit zwei vermutlich auf Volllast laufenden Terrassenheizstrahlern erwärmt war, geführt (diese wurden auch nach kurzer Zeit auf unsere Bitte hin abgeschaltet). Dieser "Wintergarten" war die mit Pavillionplanen abgedeckte Sommer-Terrasse, die jetzt ebenfalls mit Terrassenheizstrahlern erwärmt wurde. Trotzdem saßen dort teilweise die Gäste mit angezogener Jacke und Decken auf den Oberschenkeln. Für uns war die Tatsache sehr befremdlich, dass in diesem Raum geraucht wurde. Und das dort auch noch Kinder saßen, kann wohl dann eher an den Eltern gelegen haben. Wir mussten also durch den leicht verqualmten Raum in den Nebenraum gehen. Die Qualität und das Servieren der einzelnen Speisen war in der Vergangenheit schon wesentlich besser gewesen. Z.B.: die Bratkartoffeln waren eher wie klein geformte Kartoffelpüree-Stückchen. Der Salat war lieblos angerichtet (sah wie Fließbandarbeit aus). Die Portionen waren z.T. immer noch reichlich oder wurden nur kleinere Teller genommen? Wir hatten das Gefühl gehabt, dass wir hier nicht mehr wie gewohnt im Olympia bei Niko waren. Sondern das hier mehr nach Masse als nach Klasse gehandelt wird. Die Küche ist in der Größe so geblieben, aber die Möglichkeit mehr Gäste aufzunehmen ("Wintergarten" und Nebenraum) hat sich vergrößert. Und das passt nicht zusammen. Schade. Wir werden nicht wiederkommen.

Besten Dank das wir spontan einen Tisch bekommen haben für 9 Personen, dass ist in der Adventszeit eher selten. Topp. Das Essen war auch sehr lecker.
