I had dinner here during my business trip. The service was quick, efficient, and very friendly, and the food was excellent. I'd love to come back again soon :)

The food was very tasty. Prices were a bit high. Service was friendly. However, you should definitely reserve in advance. After 7 pm it's otherwise difficult to get a table.

The food was delicious, the meat tender and juicy. The service was very friendly. We didn't have to wait long for our food. The price-performance ratio is good. What I personally didn't like was having dogs in a restaurant. Everything else was perfect.

A good Greek restaurant with excellent service. The food was tasty, but the fries were a little soggy, hence the 4 stars, as the service wasn't the fault of the staff, which was perfect. The seating is fine, but the atmosphere could be a bit better, in my opinion. The seating is quite close together, and I personally don't like eating so close to a stranger. You'll have to park a bit further away in a public parking lot, as parking in front of the restaurant isn't possible.

Hi, we were very happy with the food. I had dish number 42, which was baked and really delicious. My wife had pasta with shrimp, which was just as good and there was plenty on the plate. Olympia is always great. Great food, lovely atmosphere, and friendly staff.

The salad was soaked in oil, better less dressing or vinegar oil, you can always ask for more 🥴. Brusketta was ice cold and therefore had no taste, what a shame.

We unexpectedly dined at Olympia restaurant. It looked great, and the menu was extensive. Good service and delicious food.

The food was delicious (gyros in Metaxa sauce topped with cheese). Good meat, tasty sauce, and perfectly seasoned. It was served with (presumably) homemade fries – fried to perfection, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside with a very thin crust. Excellent! All in all, very tasty. The restaurant is relatively large, but reservations are recommended. It was so busy on a Sunday evening that we had to come back later. But it was worth it.

We visited the Olympia in Papenburg, and it was simply delicious! The large aquarium in the middle of the room is an absolute highlight and creates a special atmosphere. The spacious beer garden is also very inviting – with plenty of parking right on site. From the outside in the pedestrian zone, it looks rather inconspicuous at first, but inside, everything is new, well-maintained, and very attractive. The staff was competent, cheerful, quick, and courteous – we felt completely at home. The prices are a bit higher, but absolutely justified given the quality. Just be aware that you'll have to budget a few euros more. Conclusion: We'd be happy to come back and can wholeheartedly recommend the Olympia!

THE Greek restaurant in Papenburg. Lamb shank as tender as butter, delicious pepperoni and calamari, the kitchen prepares with great care and love. The menu is very clear and uncluttered, and there's truly something for everyone! It's a family-run establishment, and you can tell the team is very well-coordinated and dedicated to their guests.

Service would also get more stars. We were there on Saturday with 20 people. We ordered a la carte, and everything went perfectly. Every special request was handled correctly, and most importantly, all 20 dishes arrived almost simultaneously. Despite the full house, the waiter always had an eye on our table, and we were always provided with drinks. We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back. Great team, great food, great atmosphere!

Overall, a very nice visit. We ate there with family a few weeks ago. The welcome was warm, and the staff was friendly too. The atmosphere was very cozy and inviting. We all agreed on the food. It wasn't quite good value for money. For the price, we would have expected more than we got. The food was okay, but the portions were too small for the money. The staff and atmosphere were great. The food, which is unfortunately what matters in a restaurant, was rather disappointing for the price. It was nice, but we won't be coming back.

Nice food. All the Gyros is Pork (being in Germany, that's understandable but I was surprised). I don't like pork particularly, so i struggled with the menu. I had a pasta dish which was nice but not really what I'd wanted when I heard I was going to a Greek restaurant. The building is lovely, it has parking for several cars & a very nice outdoor seating area. They are also dog friendly.

Overall, it was better than it looks at first glance. The salads, especially the dressing, were excellent. The meat was beautifully cooked, but then the salad with chicken was made of pressed meat. This leads to a downgrade. The fries and rice were okay, but the ouzo lacked a broad range of nuances.

We didn't have a reservation and still managed to get a table. The restaurant was busy and the service very friendly. There also seems to be some regular customers. The food was okay for us, but nothing special; we've been to better Greek restaurants. The rice was barely seasoned, but that's a matter of taste. The ambiance was rather cool. When we ordered, we were asked whether we wanted ouzo or Marsala. But what was very surprising was that the obligatory ouzo, Marsala, or liqueur, which is free in every Greek restaurant, was then added to the bill. .....learned something new again.

Very good place. Busy but fast service. The tzatziki is very tasty. Meat good and large portions. Also the tagliatelle with smoked salmon, not necessarily a Greek dish, is very tasty. Friendly staff, I recommend to make a reservation.

Food was good, but the price has gone up considerably. We paid €90,- for 2 people, for the food, a salad and 1 coke per person. A few months ago you paid at most €65,- for the same thing

We had no reservation but turned up and was seated , nice clean big restaurant, and the first time in 15 years traveling Germany that a Greek restaurant never had liver ? But hey that’s their thing so we go with other food of the menu,the food was nice and plentiful ( no pics as I’m slack at this reviewing stuff ) go it’s ok. They brought a real salad !!!! It was surprisingly refreshing and different to what we normally are used to ….

Completely overwhelmed and unqualified staff who couldn't or wouldn't answer the simplest questions about the dishes. We probably would have been treated nicer at Burger King. There is also a waiting time that is more than 1 hour long. Not recommended, even the schnapps after “eating” doesn’t change that.

We went there several times to eat and also picked up food there. It was always super tasty, hot and the waiting times were completely ok. The lamb was well cooked and juicy, the gyros were tasty and plentiful. The salad and potato wedges were particularly great. Here in Saxony-Anhalt it's also delicious, but there we only have coleslaw with the gyros. Here with delicious dressing and rocket. When we are in Papenburg again, we look forward to eating there. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is cozy.

One star deducted because a full 🌟 number of stars means...perfectly happy." I deducted one star because of a lack of flexibility when it comes to dessert. If you're lactose intolerant, you won't get anything! That was the case last year too!

Had dinner there on Saturday evening. Zeus plate for 2 people. Food came very quickly. Fresh ? The pork was rather hard and dry. Salad wasn't served at first. We took it home with us upon request. The salad or sauce didn't convince us. It used to be better. Ambience quite good. Staff very friendly, nice and helpful. Otherwise quite nice.

We were in this restaurant today, it was busy on a Saturday evening but there was plenty of staff. The service was great and super fast. We were served our main courses immediately after 10 minutes. Before that there was a small salad. Food was delicious and a huge portion.

As soon as we entered, we were struck by the pleasant atmosphere and peace; we were kindly asked to sit at a table. Our order was taken quickly. As a greeting from the kitchen, we were served a very fresh salad with a delicious homemade dressing. The main courses were characterized by tender, juicy and well-seasoned meat. The staff very attentive and friendly. Our conclusion that Olympia is a noble Greek and we will come back on our next visit to Emsland.

We were there spontaneously at 6 p.m. on a Saturday and were lucky enough to get a table, although it was reserved for 7:30 p.m. Everything went really quickly, the staff were without exception friendly and accommodating and, despite the full restaurant, still had time for a quick exchange of words. Very personable, and the food was also impeccable. A small point deduction might be that you were sitting at a very small table, which is not necessarily pleasant when eating.

Our visit to the Olympia in Papenburg today was unfortunately very disappointing. After a long time we went there again as a group. Unfortunately, we weren't aware that the restaurant closes at 9 p.m. We didn't meet there until 8 p.m. and then everything had to happen very quickly... drinks were brought quickly, food had to be ordered quickly because the kitchen was closing. Because the whole visit there was so hectic and we weren't even asked if we wanted anything else to drink after 9 p.m., we quickly didn't feel welcome anymore! We were also very shocked by the extremely high prices on the menu. So, we are all aware that “eating out” is not free, but it is far too overpriced for the portions and the food served! For us it was the last visit there because we simply didn't feel welcome at all. In total we stayed there for 1 hour and 20 minutes. After that, our girls’ night was over! Unfortunately we don't have any further recommendations.

An excellent restaurant, for me the best Greek restaurant in Germany. As a Swiss citizen, I have lived in Germany for 40 years and eat out very often. Food quality, service and ambience are good. The food at Olympia in Papenburg was delicious! Never had such tender, juicy lamb fillet and the grilled octopus was first class. Vegetables and salad just as fresh and delicious. Plus super nice service and a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. Best Greek ever! Thank you for this thoroughly enjoyable evening in your restaurant. We will make our way from Bremen to Papenburg to eat at Olympia again.

Nice place Unfortunately, the Metaxa sauce in the dish was very poorly made. Too bad. I expected more, but apart from the salad and fries it wasn't enjoyable. Gyros gratinated, unfortunately it wasn't from the gyro skewer. Was just pork in sauce. My wife had a skewer that was unfortunately dry. We don't know that at all from Greece. Food was nicely prepared and looked really good on the plate, you can't say. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Very nice restaurant. The interior is decorated in white, beige, brown. There is a large aquarium inside. The drinks, starter, salad and main course were served very quickly. People asked if everything was okay and reorders of drinks were served quickly. When asked, the boss recommended the right wine for the fish dish “Poseidon” No. 67. The restaurant is very busy (almost all tables are occupied at 8 p.m.), the sanitary facilities are a bit old, but very clean. Thank you for the great service and food
