The service staff was very friendly. Cold drinks not really cold, schnitzel sour, moussaka probably with ready-made sauce and with zucchini instead of eggplant, vegetable dish was mediocre in taste and the portions were too small. Considering the (lack of) quality of the food, the prices were way too overpriced. We went home 120€ poorer, dissatisfied and hungry.

A restaurant that I unfortunately cannot recommend. We were there with three people and had liver with fries and salad (the taste was ok), gyros with fries and salad (the taste was ok, but was warmed in the pan and didn't come fresh from the rotisserie) and pike perch fillet with boiled potatoes and Lettuce. Unfortunately, that was a complete failure. There were almost 50 bones in the fillet, probably ready frozen goods and zero seasoning. Simply warmed up in the pan or deep fryer. For a price of €21.90 I would definitely have expected more. It's a shame, I was really looking forward to a good fish. However, there is still something positive The waitress, a young girl, was very nice and very friendly.

Friendly welcome, popular restaurant that filled up quickly. Ordering went quickly. Although there were 17 people present as a large group in the next room, all other guests were served attentively and promptly. Food was nicely prepared and tasted excellent. The dessert was also great. Happy to recommend. It was also possible to pick up the food.

During our visit, the food was forgotten at the neighboring table. When the guests commented on this and didn't want the food anymore after waiting for an hour, they didn't even accept the drinks as an excuse. Unfortunately, our food was completely greasy and not tasty! What a shame!

Perfect true Greek restaurant, great owner, comes from Crete. They even have Retsina and the dorade I got was delcious. Meze as appetizer... mouth watering. 4 nights stay in Hillesheim for motor bike tour, 2 nights dinner at Olivin

Initially good service, then the Pils wasn't really cold. We had to wait a relatively long time for our food even though the restaurant wasn't full. The pepperoni on the farmer's salad was extremely spicy, the service should have, or even should, have pointed that out. EC card payments are not possible and there was no ouzo on the house. This is very unusual for a Greek restaurant. We should take Poseidon in Gerolstein as an example. It's a shame, but the food was quite tasty.

Das Essen in diesem griechischen Restaurant ist außergewöhnlich gut. Wir haben seit langer Zeit mal wieder das Gefühl gehabt, richtig authentisch griechisch zu essen und habe jeden Bissen genossen. Sowohl mein Gyrosteller, als auch das Bifteki waren vom Feinsten. Der Service war wunderbar aufmerksam und zuvorkommend, alles hat bestens gepasst. Darum vergeben wir gern 5 von 5 Punkten.

The food in this Greek restaurant is really exceptional. It's been a long time since I felt like I was eating truly authentic Greek food and enjoyed every bite. Both my gyro plate and the bifteki were of the finest quality. The atmosphere is very pleasant and not "dusty", the service was attentive and courteous, everything went perfectly. That's why I give it 5 out of 5 points.

I recently had the pleasure of eating at Olivin and loved it. The food was fresh and authentic, especially the moussaka and tzatziki were excellent. The service was friendly and attentive, and the ambience was cozy and inviting. Overall, a fantastic experience – I’d love to come here more often! From now on my favorite restaurant.

Wir haben unseren Team Abend hier verbracht. Die neuen Betreiber sind freundlich, das Essen schmeckt sehr gut und ist original griechisch. Zum Nachtisch gab es einen griechischen Kuchen und Ouzo als Geschenk. Wärmstens zu empfehlen👍🏻

If you’re looking for delicious authentic home made Greek food, look no further! You must eat here. I can especially recommend the Moussaka! We also had the Mezes for 2p and loved the dolmadakia so much we ordered another portion of them. Maybe too enthusiastic, cause we could not finish the main. Markos was happy to pack it up for us though. We had a lovely evening and were made to feel very welcome. I would absolutely come here again!

Een leuk restaurant met een heel aardige eigenaar. Het eten was heel goed en zeker genoeg. Het is jammer dat dit restaurant dinsdag dicht is, anders hadden we er mogen weer gaan eten. Let op: geen pin, dus contant betalen.

Leckeres griechisches Restaurant, relativ neu. Mittleres Preissegment. Die Einrichtung ist noch ausbaufähig. Bedienung war aufmerksam und freundlich.

Wir hatten eine Reservierung für 19 Uhr. Das Essen kam um 21:15! Essen war lecker ,das wars aber auch. Der Service eine absolute Katastrophe! Null organisiert! Überhaupt keinen Überblick was bestellt wurde ist nicht angekommen (Getränke) aber anschließend berechnet worden. Nach Diskussion mit dem Inhaber ist die Rechnung dann korrigieret worden. Schade damit war der Abend gelaufen!

(War aber anscheinend auch der erste Tag des Kellners und vielleicht "spielt" sich das mit der Zeit ein)). Gerne wieder!

Neuer Pächter. Wir waren mit 6 Mädels da. Das griechische Essen war sehr lecker. Der Service war super. Wir hatten viel Spaß mit dem Wirt. Zum Abschluss gab es griechischen Kuchen gratis. Und die Ouzos wurden immer größer. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Haben zum Mitnehmen bestellt: Kindergericht war OK, die normalen Gerichte nicht viel größer. Essen war großteils ok, aber das Hähnchen ledrig, das Gyros fettdurchzogen und in meinem Salat war ein Gummiband.

Zunächst kam trotz Anmeldung niemand zu mir nach draußen. Aussenbereich ist ansprechend. Das Schnitzel Cordon bleu, was ich bestellt hatte, war in der Fritteuse gemacht. Super heiss, die Panade knallhart, der Käse nahezu flüssig. Das Fleisch sah nach Kasseler aus. Hat mir insgesamt nicht geschmeckt.

Das Olivin seit kurzem mit neuem Pächter. Wir waren am 17.09.23 kurz vor Küchenschließung dort und wurden freundlich empfangen. Leckeres griechisches Essen zu reellen Preisen. Service sehr nett und freundlich ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Das Ambiente ist auch schön. Einfach nur zu empfehlen.

Das neue Olivin, erst vor kurzem neu eröffnet, hat mit seinen griechischen Speisen unsere Hoffnungen auf ein gutes Restaurant erfüllt. Danke für den schönen Abend wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder

Sehr, sehr lecker, frische Zutaten, typisch griechisch. Wir waren spontan zu späterer Stunde hier, es war kein Problem etwas zu essen zu bekommen. Sehr freundlicher Service. Ganz klar eine Bereicherung für Hillesheim. Preise sehr moderat und angemessen.
