Delicious food...it wasn't the last time we were there.

There's a lot of food! A lot. Unfortunately, I didn't think the gyros was that good. The salad, unfortunately, tasted of nothing. With two adults and a small child, we paid almost €80! As I said, the food was pretty "okay" and plentiful, more like snack-quality. I definitely won't be coming back.

A great Greek restaurant! We went there for lunch and were absolutely thrilled. The food was delicious and authentic, and the atmosphere transported us straight to Greece. The friendly and professional service is particularly noteworthy – even the chef, Arturo, greeted us personally. Highly recommended – we'll definitely be back!

I ate there for my birthday and will never go back. When you order food, you first get an ouzo. Then you get cold or lukewarm food, and the wrong dish to boot. If you complain, you get the right food, but it's cold again and thrown out of your plate. I ate something, but after a few bites, I felt really sick. So we paid and left. I started throwing up that same evening and had a fever (diagnosis) and food poisoning. My birthday was ruined and ended terribly.

Argentinian fit steak for around €30, which many a steakhouse should take a leaf out of. Fried to perfection, exactly how I wanted it. I was a little worried at first because when I ordered the nice waiter said that he only spoke German and Greek. I wanted my steak English fried. Take it with humor. It was a very nice evening... Gladly again...

I was at the Syrtaki restaurant with my wife and we ordered house-style Giros. We've never had such a delicious Giros before. It tasted great and was very tender. The fries were thicker than in other restaurants and tasted like they were made from fresh potatoes. Simply super delicious. We'll definitely be going back.

We were looking for a nice place for a cozy dinner and found it here. The food was delicious and filled you up, but there was still a little room for improvement (e.g. more pineapple on the 61). The service was generally friendly, patient and attentive. Unfortunately we couldn't pay a tip by card, which was a bit of a shame since we didn't have any cash with us. It's very nice to sit in the winter garden.

3 months ago the "Olive" in Troisdorf-Spich was revived and we wanted to try it because of the good reviews. We took a seat in the bright, heated winter garden and were immediately handed menus and an ouzo each by the friendly service. The wine recommendation was exactly to my taste. We chose gyros and the lamb fillet "for small appetites", which was more suitable for big appetites. The lamb was exceptionally good, tender and cooked to perfection. So delicious that I will order it again next time. All in all, a delicious evening, parking spaces in the immediate vicinity, toilets accessible via a staircase in the basement.

An absolute recommendation! There is so much food for the prices 😍 Everything tasted so good but there was so much that I couldn't finish it. That's not a problem, however, because if you ask, the friendly waitress will pack the food to take away. So I will definitely come here again. ☺️

So the food was okay with the previous operator. In my opinion, the current operator surpasses the previous owner's food, I thought it was excellent and will happily eat there again. We had dinner at “SYRTAKI” (formerly OLIVE). It is in new hands. Thanks to the friendly welcome with ouzo, of course, we immediately felt at home. The drinks came promptly - the food took a little longer. Everything tasted very good and was very plentiful. There was more ouzo on the house...! You can definitely recommend SYRTAKI.

A lovely restaurant for a relaxed meal. We were given ouzo to start with. The appetizer platter for two is enough for four people, as the main course is quite substantial. The chips are homemade. So is the tzatziki. Highly recommended!

Prompt service, friendly handling, simply “good food!!” Update on the visit on July 16, 2022: Went to Olive with friends last night!! Sat in the beer garden. Simply incredible, great service, the food was delicious and beautifully prepared!! Our guests were simply thrilled!! A little hint: If the weather is good, you should reserve a table in the beer garden by phone in advance. It's worth it!!😀🍷🍺🥗👍🏻👍🏻 Absolutely top!!! Very nice atmosphere, friendly greeting or reception. Tasteful furnishings, no kitsch!! The order will be processed quickly!! On the menu are all the Greek delicacies that the Germans love so much!! The restaurant has a winter garden and a shady beer garden in the summer!!! The dishes are very beautifully garnished!!! Yesterday we had dinner with four people; everyone was completely satisfied!!! Everyone was delighted with their dish. Finally, the bill came!!! All I can say is that the price-performance ratio is right!! We will come back in any case. A restaurant like this was missing in Spich!!! An absolute asset!!! Thanks to the whole team for a successful evening!!!

The atmosphere in the beer garden in summer is very nice. The gyros were very tasty. For my father's birthday there was a bottle of wine.

I've eaten here again for a long time and unfortunately totally disappointed😱. The meat was not seasoned and of poor quality, the fries were limp. The prices have been increased significantly. This no longer has anything to do with the “Olive” that I know from before. Unfortunately not worth recommending at the moment! I hope the owner takes a look and finds a way back to the old quality!

Everything is OK so far. Service is present but sometimes seemed unstructured. The atmosphere is more like a fast food restaurant. The food is okay and matches the ambience. My clothes smelled very strongly of "chip shop". Probably won't be my Greek.

Very tasty food (gyros gratinated with Metaxa sauce - very good - as was the fried squid and the delicious, crispy garlic bread), and there was always a waiter on hand. The menu leaves little to be desired otherwise, except that some dishes are repeated under different names, which is a bit confusing. The ambience is okay, I personally found the open space a bit too "open", i.e. a bit too little feeling of privacy, but after all that's not what you go to a restaurant for. Given the time of year (winter), it was of course too cold to sit outside - in summer it was definitely great with the big beer garden in front of the door, which I will definitely try out again. In any case, I can recommend the olive without reservation.

We were there with a small group and were served attentively. What struck me straight away was that the vegetarian offering was negligible. My request to make one main course out of three warm starters was acknowledged, but unfortunately everything came separately. On the one hand it was quite a lot, on the other hand I paid almost 30 for my meal (6 zucchini slices ~ 9). The others were equally unenthusiastic about their meat dishes. Tzatziki, pita bread and garlic potatoes are delicious. Conclusion: For the price it's not worth it in terms of taste.

Die Olive hat durchaus Potenzial, aber auch etliche Schwächen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist sehr gut, bis auf ein paar Ungereimtheiten. Die Karte ist leider völlig überfrachtet, ein Drittel der Gerichte würde bei Weitem ausreichen. Das Essen hat aber allen geschmeckt. Der Kellner, der für die Getränke zuständig war, hat sich um unseren Tisch nach der Erstbestellung nicht mehr gekümmert, obwohl im Wintergarten nur vier Tische besetzt waren und mit dem Kellner, der sich um die Speisen kümmerte, war die Verständigung etwas kompliziert. Der Chef hat beim Bezahlen das Bild des Personals wieder etwas verbessert, so dass ich wohlwollend vier Sterne vergebe, 3,5 hätte es besser getroffen.

Ich find es immer wieder lecker und ich liebe das Gyros mit Metaxasauce überbacken. Der Service ist immer nett und wir gehen nie hungrig nach Hause.

Das Essen war mal wieder ein Traum. Leider war innen die Musik sehr laut, da man aber sonst draußen nichts gehört hätte, mussten wir damit leben 🤷🏽

Das Essen ist eher durchschnittlich und das was auf dem Teller ist, da finde ich das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis nicht ok. Meine Tochter hatte als Vorspeise gebackene Auberginen mit Tzatziki (leider kein Foto gemacht), also das waren 5!!!! kleine, halbe Scheiben Aubergine mit einem Klecks Tzatziki in der Mitte für 9,20€. Das finde ich ehrlich gesagt viel zu teuer und auch nicht verhältnismäßig... ich muss wahrlich keine großen Portionen auf meinem Teller haben, aber es sollte schon ausreichend sein. Ein gut essender Mann wird hier eher nicht satt. Und nett anrichten fehlt leider auch, das Auge isst ja bekanntlich mit. Mein Mann hatte den Kreta-Teller und ich das Spezial-Gyros....sehr unbefriedigend. Resümee für uns: Wir werden dort nicht mehr Essen gehen, da 1. zu teuer, 2. Qualität und Geschmack überzeugen uns nicht. Da gibt es bessere griechische Lokalitäten in Troisdorf.

Wir waren gestern zum zweiten Mal in dem optisch sehr schön gestalteten Aussenbereich diesen Lokals. Diesmal waren wir entgegen unserer Erwartungen leider enttäuscht. Die Preise in der sehr vielfältigen Karte hatten in den letzten Monaten sehr angezogen, für mich ist das vormals akzeptable Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht mehr gegeben. Der Service ließ sehr zu wünschen übrig. Bis auf eine nette junge Frau machten alle Kellner einen überforderten Eindruck. Der Grillteller meines Mannes war okay, kam aber anstatt der gewünschten Pommes mit Knoblauchkartoffeln. Der zuvor servierte Beilagensalat, ein Eisbergsalat, war gut angemacht, aber farblos und nicht ansprechend präsentiert. Mein Gyros in Metaxasauce war eine Enttäuschung, entsprach gar nicht meinen Vorstellungen und ging fast komplett zurück. Auf Nachfrage des Personals beim Abräumen ob es geschmeckt hätte, antwortete ich wahrheitsgemäß dass das Gyros nicht "mein Fall war", eine Reaktion darauf gab es allerdings nicht. Wir werden beim nächten griechischen Essengehen ein anderes Lokal in Troisdorf aufsuchen.

Nachdem ich nun das 3te mal dort gegessen habe, hier mein Resumé. Das Essen war jedes mal okay, die Geschwindigkeit vom Bestlelen bis zum erhalt der Speisen war je nach dem wieviel Gäste insgesamt anwesend waren auch okay (3-). Jedoch hatte ich es schon mal das andere Gäste scheinbar bevorzugt behandelt wurden. Man ging des öfteren an uns vorbei, obwohl man angezeigt hat, das man etwas möchte. Die Menge vom Essen im Verhältnis zum Preis ist leider nicht ausreichend. Da gab es im verhältnis Kosten (vergleichbaren Preis bei anderen ähnlichen Restaurants) wenig auf dem Teller. Geschmacklich war dass ganze auch eher durchschnittlich (und auch nicht dem Preis angemessen). Bei der Bedienung war es, das Sonderwünsche (wie zum Beispiel weglassen von Zwiebeln) gar nicht eingegangen wurde. Das könnte vielleicht daran liegen, das die Serviceleute die Sprache nicht verstehen. Das Ambiente ist nett, aber einfach.

Leider merkt mann auch das es schwierig ist nach Corona gutes Servicepersonal zu bekommen. Da ich das Problem nachvollziehen kann mache ich dem Inhaber keinen Vorwurf, er muss nehmen was er bekommt um überhaupt einen Betrieb aufrechtzuerhalten. Aber Kellner in Jogginghose geht gar nicht :))

Ein Restaurant mit ausreichend vielen Plätzen, draußen kann mir großen Markisen überdacht werden, vorwiegend griechische Köstlichkeiten, Preissegment angenehm

Das Restaurant ist uns beim parken für das aroma Café aufgefallen, sodass wir es direkt ausprobieren mussten. Es ist hübsch gestaltet (griechische Fackeln als Lampen, bestuhlter Wintergarten, großer Außenbereich) und gut besucht. Leider hat uns bei Ankunft (Mittwoch Abend) keiner der Mitarbeitenden bemerkt und platziert, während allen Personen nach uns diese Aufmerksamkeit zuteil wurde. Die Aufnahme der Bestellung lief chaotisch - wenn auch freundlich - ab. Eine Person nahm die Getränke auf, Sekunden später stand eine andere am Tisch um die Bestellung aufzunehmen. Die Getränke - mitsamt einem Teller Salat pro Person - als auch das Essen kamen dennoch wie geordert an. Das Bifteki, insbesondere aber die Knoblauchkartoffeln, sind empfehlenswert. Beim Mussaka überzeugte lediglich die Größe - was wohl Geschmacksache ist. Wir wurden, nach dem das Essen kam, nicht mehr aktiv bewirtet (Noch etwas zu trinken? Eine Nachspeise?) und haben letztlich nochmal auf uns aufmerksam gemacht, um zu bezahlen (Kartenzahlung möglich). Schade.

Zu Beginn wurden wir herzlichst empfangen. Wir verbrachten einen schönen Abend im sehr gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtetem Lokal. Mir ist auch aufgefallen, dass das Lokal sehr sauber war, sowohl der Innen- als auch der Außenbereich und die Toiletten. (Leider keine Selbstverständlichkeit mehr) Das Essen war ebenfalls sehr lecker und die Teller waren sehr schön angerichtet. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft! Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch!
