Oishi Sushi & Grill in Darmstadt

The restaurant was recommended to us and we were not disappointed. The most important thing: The food was really delicious and looked very appetizing. Unfortunately, some dishes were only brought lukewarm. But everything was very freshly prepared. We ordered with the tablet and were able to order several dishes in several rounds. Theoretically, up to 10 rounds would be possible in 2 hours, but we only managed 3 rounds plus a dessert. The portions seem small at first, but you fill up very well and have the opportunity to try a lot of things. We really liked that. After we said that we were there for the first time, everything was explained to us calmly and very nicely. Until then, all great! What we didn't really like was that the dishes we ordered were put down very quickly as we walked past and we sometimes had no idea what it was and which of us ordered it. Sometimes the pictures did not correspond at all to the food delivered 😂 And it was very, very full, even though we had booked a table, we had to wait a good 15 minutes before we were even greeted. I'm happy that the store is doing well, it also speaks for the quality, but it was very crowded, loud, cramped and hectic there. The ambience for eating suffers a little. We'll still come back again, maybe at lunchtime during the week.

I was absolutely thrilled! The concept of ordering dishes via a tablet is simply brilliant. This made operation incredibly quick and uncomplicated. You could browse through the extensive menu at your leisure and your order was always brought to the table fresh and quickly. The quality of the sushi was outstanding – fresh fish, perfectly cooked rice and an impressive selection of creative rolls. I particularly liked that you could also order warm dishes and desserts that were just as delicious as the sushi itself. The modern and comfortable ambience completed the experience, and the staff were friendly and attentive, although the tablet system minimized face-to-face contact. A perfect place for sushi lovers who like to enjoy at their own pace and sample a huge selection. I'll definitely be back!

All you can eat is promised here. This is a blatant lie and rip off. Orders are limited to 10 minutes and you can order a maximum of 10 times. Have you ever seen All You Can Eat where you are only allowed to go to the buffet every 10 minutes? This rip-off has nothing to do with the former good Wus Kitchen

Word of mouth told us that the store was good. Unfortunately we had different experiences... Yes, the food was okay, even if it took a relatively long time for something to arrive. The restaurant was very nicely decorated and you felt comfortable. But now come the disadvantages: There were six of us and we all ordered sushi. Two plates were carelessly placed on the table. We first had to find out who had ordered what... Basically everything we ordered twice was simply slapped on one plate. We only received the drinks after we asked again. But then came the best part… clam shells in the salmon… At least there was an apology. It was then said that drinks would be free. But let's be honest, that shouldn't have happened in the first place. There was chaos again when it came to the bill. Suddenly the promised “all drinks from the table are on the house” to only those who had the bowl in their food got it on the house. Then drinks were booked that we didn't get or didn't order. We didn't feel like talking anymore but said that we wanted to pay with cards. And then came no please cash. We looked at the waitress and the card reader in her hand and were visibly confused. She then quickly backtracked and said that if there was no other option, payment by card would also be possible. I would say leave quickly and never go back.

Food for lunch buffet is generally worth a try but not the ones I want to do it twice. You could arrive a little bit earlier to get as more rounds as possible since they close around 14:30. One of the staffs is quite unfriendly even rude! Others are nice.

It was a very nice evening and very good food, it took a while to get the drinks but everything else was great.

The selection was very poor, the food itself was good, but unfortunately the grilled chicken wasn't quite cooked through.

The All You Can Eat Buffet is the most sensible thing to choose because it allows you to get the best out of it. The food is always fresh and is prepared freshly after ordering. Even if it was very busy, they tried very hard to bring the food quickly and if it took longer we were informed about it. A very clear recommendation in all areas.

We found the food very good and the atmosphere was very relaxed. It was a bit noisy but the later it got, the more pleasant it became. The parking options are also very good and overall it was a successful evening. Trods 40 min drive we would love to come back 👍🏻😌

Just wow! So far we haven't had such a good experience with all you can eat options in DA and the surrounding area, but we were very surprised at Wu's Kitchen. You get a very warm welcome there. Our son (7) even had his jacket taken off, which we found very sweet, as if it were grandma. TOP. Ordering via tablet was very easy to understand. The food was very tasty and everything was prepared very quickly. We were there on December 31st, 2018 with 9 people and it was quite busy. The atmosphere is very nice and pleasant and the price is right. There are more than enough parking spaces in front of the door, just don't forget your parking disc. We will definitely go back. The restaurant is really not recommended! The staff and the restaurant management try to rip off or cheat the customers in the truest sense of the word. Our children had ordered more than they could eat afterwards (at an "all you can eat" fixed price). We should then pay 50% of the individual prices of the uneaten food in addition to the all you can eat prices (price per person). After I then said that I would force the children's food in and did so, it was assumed that we had disposed of the food in the toilet and/or 'hidden' it in the backpack we had brought with us (contained books and toys as well as changing clothes for the children). . And it was further demanded that we pay for these meals additionally. *This is an absolute disgrace!* We will never go here again! ...even though we were guests here often in the past.

Hectic all-you-can-eat restaurant. The sushi is good, the chicken is good. If you press the button for the bill there is no confirmation and you cannot order anymore.

Not much to say. We have been going here as a group 4 times a year for about 4 years. The all you can eat is to order, not from the buffet. This means that the popular things aren't always empty and the less popular things don't sit on the warming plate forever. Of course, it does take a little longer until you get your food, but you rarely have to wait really long. Since switching to Oishii, every guest no longer has their own number, which makes it harder to determine who gets what and orders end up on mixed plates. But otherwise everything is great as usual

How unmotivated can staff be? Menno... the food was halfway ok. All you can eat is not a la carte. But putting the food down without saying anything and not responding to questions is great!! Nope, there won't be a second time here for me.

The price-performance ratio is no longer right. Just under EUR 30 per person is too much unless you are a very hungry man. The food is ok, but not outstanding either. The ambience is very loud. There was a terrible smell near the toilets. For us it was the last visit here.

Very good All You Can Eat, within 2 hours you can create a feeling of fullness that is second to none. What particularly appealed to me was the toilet; an indescribably soothing Asian-sounding melody was playing, which turned out to be Dr. Arnd Stein turned out to be a true classic like Mozart. I named the toilet “Oasis of Calm” because of the enthusiasm. I was particularly delighted with the “Lava Orange”, it was very tropical, fresh and crispy, I ordered 15 pieces straight away. Gladly again.

A large restaurant with lots of waitresses. There were a lot of people eating here today so it was very loud. But we were always served very quickly and it was always cleared away quickly. All in all, a very tasty meal that they offer.

The food tastes good and the service was present and always responsive. The selection is large and varied. If you like it a little quieter, I recommend coming at less busy times. Dessert is recommended (lava organs and baked ice cream)

This was our third time at Oishi's for all you can eat lunch. While everything worked great at lunchtime during the week when there wasn't so much going on, on Saturday lunchtime it was complete chaos. Our food was consistently cold. It took forever for the food to arrive. I had to wait up to 45 minutes for my sushi and even then half of it was missing. We were very disappointed and will definitely not eat here again. It's a shame, because the quality of the sushi itself is really solid. But with an all you can eat I don't want to wait 30-45 minutes for the next round.

We were at Oishii yesterday and overall we were only moderately impressed. The sushi selection is large, but the taste is mostly bland. The rice grains were also quite firm or hard. Overall, it's more on par with supermarket sushi or below. To be fair, the prices are quite reasonable, perhaps you can't expect more for that. Service wasn't particularly attentive, the atmosphere was more like a station hall than cozy. At least it was very clean.

Things here are no longer as good as they once were. The food has deteriorated significantly and so has the service. I can't recommend it more.

Rating as a delivery service I have no idea what happened, but the quality has deteriorated significantly. We ordered for over 50 euros and were unfortunately very disappointed. Of the several dishes and side dishes, there was nothing that was really tasty. The wontons were without filling, the duck skin was not through (rubber) but dry, the sauce was much too thin in terms of consistency and taste, and there was generally a lack of salt and spices. In addition, the portions have become very small, as an example, the small container used to be full of pasta, now almost half is missing, see photo. We give every restaurant a second chance, this was the third time something went wrong and the last time we ordered. It's a shame, it used to be the best Asian restaurant in Darmstadt...

It's gotten expensive over the years, but maybe that's why it's an all-you-can-eat without regrets. No thirst attacks and longer stays in the bathroom. Ordering with tablets is super convenient. Munchies certified!

Appealing AYCE, ordering via tablet

Since the restaurant changed its name, the quality of the food has steadily deteriorated. The portions are becoming smaller and smaller, the products are cheaper and not clearly fresh. In addition, a salty or meaty sauce is spread on all hot dishes without exception - even on vegetarian dishes such as the grilled zucchinis. The sweet desserts are cooked in the same oil as the meat dishes. Anything but tasty. Absolutely not recommended for over 28 euros per person. What is absolutely impudent is that the Rhein-Main goes out! award for the previous restaurant is hanging on the door as advertising.

Stable all you can eat. A little patience and a plan for the matter and you'll have a great evening.

All you can eat is definitely not recommended. Everything is cold by the time the small dishes are completely on the table. So not lukewarm, but really cold. So that the waiters can bring as much to the table as possible at once, the plates with food are stacked on top of each other and the corresponding table fairy is also placed on the food. Unfortunately, we never received any of the dishes in their entirety. What also causes stress is ordering on a tray, so you are constantly busy ordering. Unfortunately never again. A pity.

Simply fabulous restaurant. We are now visiting there for the 6th time and are always surprised at how delicious the food tastes here. Both the lunch and dinner buffets are large and extremely tasty. It's definitely worth the price and the service is very friendly. I can only recommend it and we will continue to visit it as a regular sushi restaurant.

A really great place. There are delicious dishes here that are always freshly prepared. Broccoli is particularly recommended here. Here you really get the best broccoli in the entire Rhine-Main region. Connoisseurs will definitely get their money's worth here!

We were here with friends to eat sushi. Well, the place is very big and spacious. The decor is nice and the staff is not always very friendly. We ordered via tablet and you can order after a certain amount of minutes, in the end we ate everything but unfortunately there was not a wide choice of sushi to try and some things were not on the all you can eat menu. Definitely not bad, but not the best in my opinion. The price of all you can eat is really high for what is offered on their menu.

We sat down in our seats, next to us (behind a partition) was an employee who cleaned his ears and then smelled them. I find it very questionable that you have to do this during operation. Apart from a few small things, everything went relatively quickly (despite the stress of the evening). The selection of dishes could be even larger for the price, but it was enough and we went home full. The staff were friendly and attentive.

Very tasty and a great concept behind it! You can order 10 dishes per guest per course using a tablet at the table. However, I'm not sure if you have up to 5 courses of 10 dishes per person or if you can eat as much as you want for 2 hours. We didn't come close to achieving either, so it didn't matter. Current price at the moment is 24 euros. From sushi to grilled food to desserts, everything is included! My highlights were the sushi selection and the fried ice cream.
