We ate there and two of us wanted all-you-can-eat sushi, while two of us didn't. It might have been better to state somewhere that this wasn't possible – everyone either had to eat all-you-can-eat or something from the menu. As a passionate non-fish eater, I spoiled my friends' all-you-can-eat experience a bit. It would have been half as bad if the food from the menu had tasted good, which it unfortunately wasn't. Even the cheapest Chinese takeaway could do better dishes, not to mention that the staff have little enthusiasm for their jobs. There's no communication or smiles here – just annoyed faces and long waits for drinks and to pay.

It was very good, parking for 2 hours can be upgraded, so be careful. The food was good, the service was friendly, and I would recommend it.

Fresh sushi, delicious grilled dishes, and a wide selection of variations. The special rolls, in particular, are very creative and beautifully presented. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is modern and relaxed.

The electronic ordering option is convenient, but that's about it. Service is slow, and the portions seem like child-sized portions. The room is so crowded that the tables are almost stacked on top of each other—there's no sense of comfort. And then this "decoration horror": The table was littered with cheap, kitsch artificial flowers. Perhaps it would have been more sensible to invest in more napkins and cutlery instead of plastic flowers from the bargain bin. By the way, there was no hot water in the restroom, and both liquid soap dispensers were empty—perfect hygiene concept! The bottom line: This place really doesn't deserve more than 3 stars.

Oishii is basically a tablet-based Tinder for sushi—you can tap until you're full. Ordering in rounds went smoothly, even though it was busy. The staff was friendly, and the food was better than a standard all-you-can-eat menu, even if it certainly doesn't compare to a traditional restaurant. The ambiance is modern and cozy. Bottom line: a solid 4 stars for plenty of sushi and relaxed dining.

I ordered there using a tablet. The food was always fresh and of excellent quality. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. They also informed me about the possibility of extending my parking time, as parking is otherwise only permitted for 120 minutes. All in all, a successful evening!

Yesterday my husband and I visited the Oishi Sushi restaurant for the first time. When we went inside, we were a little surprised that no one met us. We were standing at the bar and none of the employees approached us. We had to take the initiative ourselves. The beginning of the evening was not the worst, at our request they turned off the air conditioner, which was blowing very strongly, handed us a tablet and we made the first order. We waited for quite a long time. The first order was sushi - they looked sloppy and did not taste fresh. The sushi had been prepared at least a day ago. I cook sushi myself and I understand this very well. The second order disappeared somewhere. We sat hungry and watched as the waiters with unpleasant faces, irritated with sharp movements collected the dishes from the tables, carried them away and each time simply threw them somewhere, because there was a wild crash, as if everything had broken. The girls who brought and took away the food have no idea about customer focus. Their behavior was devoid of respect for the guests of the establishment and subtly bordered on rudeness. By the way, they talked loudly among themselves, laughed, as if they did not notice our presence. Meanwhile, we watched their fuss with hungry eyes, which looked extremely ridiculous. So, what else was happening. Next to the bar, an employee, standing with his feet on the kitchen table, was madly washing the hood and plastic partitions. This went on for more than 1.5 hours, he did not stop for a minute, as if the devil had possessed him. He was not embarrassed by either the visitors or those around him. In general, all his actions were not entirely acceptable and this formed an inadequate and unhealthy atmosphere in the establishment. Dude, I wanted to say calm down, you chose the wrong time for a general cleaning. And now it's 9:00 pm, the hall is almost empty, only 3 tables are occupied, and we are still sitting hungry, waiting for food and looking at all this chaos. Suddenly the waitress started yelling obscenities loudly throughout the room and her colleagues started talking loudly and laughing among themselves. That's right, why feed the customers, let's laugh and talk instead. When we started to lose patience, they started bringing 1 dish every 5 minutes. Everything that was served was old, you could taste stale oil, the dishes were either very salty or completely bland (I understand that they forgot to salt them at all). The room was empty, but there was complete chaos and fuss, the situation was like this - they were talking among themselves and boring us with their eyes, waiting for us to leave. The sushi from the second order was never brought. The puddings were brought, but for some reason they took them back. When we asked where our sushi from the second order was, the waiter looked at the tablet, took it with him for some reason and 5 minutes later came back with a plate with several mutilated sushi on it. They were so old and weathered, as if they had been lying around for a long time or someone had not finished eating them. He did not bring other sushi and said that they had run out. My husband was hungry and was forced to eat these old sushi. He felt bad after them. In general, it was so tasteless and unpleasant that we ourselves wanted to leave as soon as possible. The food was so tasteless that we should have been paid for having to eat it. I do not understand the enthusiastic comments about the incredibly delicious food. Apparently, these people have never eaten fresh delicious food. This was the first and last visit to this restaurant.

Good food for a reasonable price. The ambiance is absolutely fantastic, very nice and pleasant. Happy hour is my absolute recommendation; food for twenty bucks is really fair. Drinks are quite expensive. The food tastes good, but nothing special. There's plenty of parking, 2 hours are free, and you can extend it to 3 hours online via QR code. Very cool! It can get really crowded during happy hour, too; it's loud, and the food delivery times are long, but that should be clear. Everyone is super nice.

We really like the concept. You sit comfortably at your table with your tablet and order whatever you want in the all-you-can-eat concept, and it's brought to your table freshly prepared. Absolutely delicious. We'd be happy to come back anytime.

You can tell it's popular because it was relatively busy. The food is very good, especially the sushi, and the staff is also very friendly. You can also park for free for up to 2 hours if you ask at the restaurant.

It was our first time there, and the tray took some getting used to...unfortunately, the first two dishes, fried noodles, were cold. Thankfully, they were only small portions. The fried food and the fish tasted very greasy, and the orders weren't exactly accurate. The waitresses could have shown a bit more enthusiasm and assigned the dishes to the right people. Perhaps things will be better next time.

We went to Oishii for an all-you-can-eat meal on a Friday afternoon and were very satisfied. We were able to try quite a few things, and everything was delicious, from soups, sushi, fried gyoza and wonton to dessert (baked bananas and sesame balls). The service was very fast. The staff was very friendly.

The card reader is partially broken and only works contactless. Anyone who accidentally has to provide their PIN is out of luck and will have to withdraw cash downstairs, paying a €5 fee.

I like the concept at Wu's Kitchen. There's a tablet where you order the various sushi. Service is okay. In the evening, the all-you-can-eat option is around €25. Update 2025: Sushi is now €30. Unfortunately, there was a price increase, but at the same time the sushi selection was reduced. The sushi is fresh and delicious. Some of the staff don't speak German. Prices for children 2-4: €5 5-12: around €15 High chairs available. There's also space for strollers. In the end, we spent over €100 for two adults and one child, which is unfortunately not really worth it.

The food is quite nice, the staff is also friendly, very accommodating and kind. The only problem is that the service is extremely slow. This is no fault of the staff, but rather that gets so packed, but the number of staff is so few. I think this may be a money-saving tactic of the owner, so that they don't have to pay as many staff members, and people are able to eat less because they have to wait longer for their orders at the buffet.

I think it's great. sushi is really good, there's a wide selection of other dishes. 30 euros in the evening is a fair price. The service was really fast, ordering via tablet is easy, the atmosphere is fine. For us, it's the best choice in Darmstadt if we're craving unlimited fresh fish. Okay, after 2 hours, 9 or 10 rounds with 5 dishes per person each, it's over, but I couldn't possibly eat as much as you're allowed to order. :)

We were here for all-you-can-eat sushi. The staff is friendly and quick. You can also get a seat on the spot. The sushi is of decent quality—maybe not the prettiest, but quite tasty. The selection is okay. Ten rounds of orders are easily sufficient. I don't understand why people are complaining. Personally, I don't need 50 dishes! They also offer gluten-free soy sauce. The dishes are marked on the iPad as veggie or gluten-containing, but not consistently. However, the effort to pay attention to allergens is already a positive for me. Conclusion: A good place for all-you-can-eat sushi, but not the location for the best sushi in Darmstadt.

I haven't eaten this much or this well in a long time. There's a wide selection, and everything tasted delicious. Especially the noodle soup and the chicken skewers. The service was very friendly, and we never had to wait long for our food. We'd love to come back!

Food was poorly prepared (cooked and/or raw) and, despite a nearly empty restaurant, service was unfriendly and slower than reasonably explainable. Mediocre food, and ultimately lousy service. Our welcome was very promising with a big smile, fast table allocation and even water for our dog. That was the only drink we got for the next hour, and food only started coming after 35’… while tables were constantly served. A comment was literally laughed away.

The food tasted terrible. Fried noodles and rice fart dry and without taste. Duck fart dry mushrooms tasted old. My girlfriend and I had the all you can eat and because there were 3 pieces of sushi and 2 shrimps left, we were forced to stuff ourselves with it or pay more money. Then after a discussion I pay the extra money even though it is already overpriced for this price. Thanks but never again

We were satisfied! Each person could order 5 rounds, which is really great for the price. After 6 laps we were more than full. The food was delicious and the selection was large - there were also many great options for vegetarians. We really enjoyed the food and will definitely come back.

The food is okay, but you can tell that the owner obviously wants to save money. Sauces already count as one item per order; these were previously included when finger food was ordered, but now you have to order them separately. We were also politely asked to pay in cash because the owner wanted to save money. We found that a bit inappropriate these days, especially since the restaurant is always busy. The ladies who brought our food sometimes seemed a bit unmotivated and simply slammed the food on the table. Other service staff were extremely polite and friendly. I would like to save less and have more choice of dishes, especially the desserts seemed very unimaginative and cheap.

We've eaten here many times and every time there was something that didn't go right. We had made reservations or called ahead several times and each time our table was occupied. We were always a group of 8 people. As you can read in the previous comments that the new manager would be rude, I agree 1000%. I've never experienced anything like yesterday. Unfriendly is actually putting it way too nicely. How such a person gets this position is questionable. Because guest-oriented behavior is a foreign word for him. We had placed our second order (lamb chops) and shortly afterwards he came to us and told us he couldn't give us this order because we had apparently already had a lot before. We had previously received 12, and of course we were able to prove this with the order history on the tablet. The gentleman didn't respond to that. He told us he would give us the drinks on the house. After a few minutes his assistant came to us and explained that they were still there, but that it would take a while because they were still very cold. We would still get the lamb chops. After more than 30 minutes the food was served to us on a tray. Placed carelessly on the table. We didn't order anything else because everything we had ordered arrived shortly afterwards. Our table was no longer noticed at all, let alone cleared away. Then manager arrived with a tray of mussels and prawns, which we had supposedly ordered again. We then told him that we hadn't ordered anything else (which you could see on the tablet and especially on the table, as all the bowls were still on the plates) and the order had just arrived. He put it on the table and said we had ordered it and if we didn't eat it, we would have to pay for it too. We didn't say anything more about it, ate everything and pressed pay on the tray beforehand. Then an employee came and billed us and the drinks were back on the bill. I then said to him “all the drinks were canceled”. He said “yes, two iced teas were canceled”. He repeated this 10 times, even though the manager had previously said that all the drinks were on the house. Well, it didn't matter, so he went to his boss again and came back and then just said that it hadn't been canceled since we got the food after all. However, we were not informed beforehand that this would be the case. At the end of the song we paid for the drinks. We were treated at the table like the greatest assis. We weren't spoken to normally either and that's a no go!!! We will never visit this restaurant again and we will advise everyone against it!!!! Because something like that is absolutely disgusting!!!! Unfriendliness is very thick, capitalized and highly written here!!! Just a juice shop like in the book!!!!!!!

We went to Oishii as a group of 8 and ordered lamb chops - at first we were told we had ordered too many and wouldn't get any more - to accommodate us they said they were canceling 2 drinks We ordered other food, in the end the lamb chops came with the other food and we were told if we didn't finish we would have to pay extra (no one was expecting the lamb chops at that point) When paying, the waitress mentioned 3 times that 2 drinks had been canceled - only to find out when we did the math that we had to pay for them The lamb chops that came later were tough and too salty and the manager was very rude

Since the management here has changed I just find it terrible! I was there on Valentine's Day and everyone received chocolate at the end. Not us, when we asked if we could get some, a box of chocolate was thrown at us in a VERY rude manner and white ones were thrown on the table and looked stupid after. I thought I'd give it another chance. Unfortunately it's messed up again, all you can eat and from the menu are not allowed to be eaten in combination at one table, as the menu eaters could help themselves to the all you can eat. I've never experienced anything like that before, but it's a great way to scare off customers!! WANG's Kitchen at Darmstadt Central Station is much more open and tasty.

The food is good and the buffet is also worth it if you dig in. That's why we were happy to come back. Based on my recommendation, we wanted to celebrate a birthday this time with a group of 7 people. But when two of us wanted to order individual dishes while the rest wanted to eat buffet, it was only after the orders had been taken that we were told that that wasn't possible and that the two people should sit at a different table or order the buffet like the others. I have never experienced such impudence! We are now at Khan and have no problems with our buffet/dish combo. It's a shame that our first good impression was so ruined.

I can only recommend making a reservation in advance. Even if you have done this, you may have to wait at peak times. Price-performance ratio is right and the kitchen and staff are well organized.

I really like the local cuisine and the attitude of the staff towards you. I am glad that there are people who can communicate in my language. The service is also top notch and I really like the tablet system. However, it can be very loud when there are many people.

I think it's great to order food with the tablets, there are no misunderstandings, there are little pictures. It tasted delicious and the waitresses cleared it away very quickly. I can only recommend it!

Maki sushi was okay and the fried sushi wasn't good, at least for us. In general, the fried things tasted like old fried oil. Salads like kimshi or wakame were also okay.

If you're going for the "all you can eat," just DON'T It is basically just rice. It has so little fish that it is totally unworthy. The only good dish i could say it is ok was the mushrooms (not even the ice cream was good) To not say that was totally bad, the service was ok and the toilet was clean I really don't understand how the place keeps full because it was the worst sushi I ate in my life. Wasted my time and money there.

A feast of rice and fish so fine, I always come back here. The sushi is fresh, a dream, a treasure, pure shine on every plate. The salmon so tender, the roll round, a masterpiece on my mouth. The rice is perfect, the seasoning is mild, a work of art that satisfies the longing. The service is smiling, quick and kind, Here you immediately feel neat. A place everyone has to love – my sushi temple, pure enjoyment!

Not recommended at all. The somewhat corpulent man is very unfriendly! I would avoid this restaurant, I've heard a lot of bad things, but wanted to have our own experience. With all you can eat you get a tablet from which you can choose your food. You have 2 hours and can order up to 10 times, 5 dishes per person. Oishii Darmstadt is an impressive restaurant! The ingredients are extremely fresh, especially the sushi and sashimi, which are prepared with great attention to detail. Whether classic salmon sushi or creative rolls – everything is delicious and high quality. The service is professional, the employees are friendly and warm, which makes the stay particularly pleasant. The atmosphere of the restaurant is clean and inviting, perfect for a date, a meeting with friends or a family dinner. I'll definitely be back!

The Oishii is a typical "Asian palace", offering freshly prepared grilled food, sushi and the usual selection from across the Asian continent. You can order a la carte or an all you can eat option. Ordering is done via a tablet and everything is delivered to the table very quickly - although the service is more mass-produced than individual. The food is good but not outstanding. Priced in the middle range.

No recommendation. Hot dishes were quite often lukewarm. Sushi not great either. The best were the battered chicken, seaweed salad and baked banana. Drinks weren't expensive (<5 euros). Otherwise, it was good that the empty plates didn't pile up on the table, as they were cleared away quite quickly. Sometimes, however, a little too quickly while there were still leftovers on the plate.

This time there was severe food poisoning with the all you can eat included. Of the four people we were there with, all of them struggled with severe diarrhea, vomiting and crib symptoms as a result of the visit. In addition, despite making a reservation, we had to wait about 35 minutes for a table. Conclusion: Never again!!!!!!

!!!Warning!!! Last Saturday there were four of us there. Despite our reservation, we had to wait a long time on site, about 30 minutes, to get a free table.... ultimately we all got severe food poisoning... so I can only advise everyone not to visit the restaurant again.... .

Like a few others, we were there on Saturday January 11, 2025, where we had to wait 35 minutes for a table despite having a reservation. We have been there several times and have always been very satisfied. However, I woke up in the night from Sunday to Monday with severe stomach pain and the urge to vomit. I vomited all night and had diarrhea, which is something I've had before with food poisoning. On Monday morning a colleague and his girlfriend wrote to me when we were out to dinner saying that they had the same symptoms at the same time. My girlfriend got it on Monday. So 4 out of 4 people with the same symptoms and now the review from 2 days ago with the same ones can't be a coincidence. A reason for us never to enter the store again.

We have always enjoyed going to Oishii and it has become our regular restaurant. But I've never given a review before, so I'd like to do so today. With all you can eat, no wish is left unfulfilled, the selection of delicious food is excellent, ordering via tablet is easy and makes perfect sense given the number of tables. Otherwise I can't complain. Still deducted 1 star because I just don't find the plastic dishes, especially where my favorite soup is in them, appealing, there are certainly practical reasons for that. Oh... and stop using the Christmas lights in disco mode.

After eating here with friends over the weekend, 3 out of 4 had food poisoning. The teriyaki chicken was still pink after 8 skewers! Apart from the fact that the all you can eat doesn't even include basic drinks (water etc.)... even though the empty plates were brought out quickly, it really felt like a mass process. The only notable thing is that four of us will have gotten a table quickly, despite it being lunchtime.

Food is generally okay. The quality gets worse and worse every time. Shortly after our last visit we also had severe stomach pains and had to vomit. The fish didn't really taste fresh either. In addition, the store is overwhelmed with reservations and you have to stand in the aisle for 20 minutes despite having a reservation. Unfortunately disappointing.

Thanks for the severe food poisoning. The food is not the best because the restaurant focuses on quantity and speed when it comes to food and not on taste and quality. The service is good in this store but 3 out of 4 people I was there with had food poisoning afterwards and that's a NO GO! I can therefore only advise against it. If you do want to go there, stay away from the meat dishes
