I spontaneously stopped by Oguz around 9 p.m. and I have to say it was absolutely fantastic. 5 out of 5 stars for the kebab and the friendly service. I'll be coming more often from now on. Why didn't I discover you sooner? Super tasty and highly recommended. The meat was delicious, layered. So see for yourself.

Very good meat, made "on site." I haven't had a better kebab anywhere. The sauces perfectly complement the flavor of the meat, everything is fresh... Ogüz has no competition, and there are dozens of places in Neuss... The daily queues speak for themselves. The food (from the moment you order) is served lightning fast. "Einmal essen nich vergesen" is absolutely true; it's hard to resist when passing by, because it's the best place I've ever been.

Considering that Akif Abi makes the doner himself and everything else himself, it's a reasonable price, and the taste is highly recommended. On Fridays and Saturdays, they always serve lamb, and the veal skewer is also very tasty. My first stop when I want a lamb or veal doner in Neuss and the surrounding area.

I'm completely satisfied. The doner tastes amazing—I've rarely, if ever, had such a delicious doner. From the crisp salad to the delicious sauces, especially the spicy one, and then the juicy beef—yum, and the staff are very accommodating and friendly. It's also air-conditioned inside, which is the icing on the cake for me. We'll not only come back, but more often.

Ordered a kebab plate: The meat was excellent and flavorful. The salad was okay, but the tomatoes were a bit underwhelming. The tables could have been cleaner, and the wait times were a bit longer, even though it wasn't busy.

I've been wanting to go to this kebab shop for a long time. However, the line was always endless, which is actually a good sign. I also think the crowds are due to YouTube creators. The meat was definitely very tasty and crispy. The vegetables were also fresh. The sauces, however, lacked a certain kick for me. It doesn't have a particular recognition factor. What I found a bit odd was that the kebab is served on a paper plate. Sure, it saves some cleaning staff, but a simple, small black tray would be sufficient. Just for the looks. I've tried the kebab now – it was good and solidly on the high end, but nothing I'd absolutely go back for. There was nothing special about it.

It all started about a year ago when I saw Holle's video. I was shocked that, as someone who grew up in Neuss and has a migrant background, I didn't know this place. The hype was real. The meat, the bread, everything was top-notch. However, what I experienced last week shocked me. For those who had been to Oguz Döner on Friday, they offer a lamb skewer in addition to the veal and chicken skewers. So I was looking forward to the skewer on Friday and ordered a lamb kebab. The taste had nothing to do with lamb. It tasted very strong, very stale, and extremely fatty. I almost spit it all out after the first bite because I couldn't get it down. I'll give the veal kebab another chance, but a new kebab shop in Neuss has recently taken the lead for me. Now, one thing that really bothers me: the restrooms. They're a no-go! Truly disgusting. Please work on that...

The kebab was okay, but unfortunately not the revelation I was hoping for. I went on the recommendation of friends, and perhaps that was why my expectations were so high. At the end of the day, I have to say that the kebab was too dry and had a very bland flavor. Perhaps it was too late in the evening (around 7 p.m.) or I was just having a bad day. My friends were also disappointed and remembered it as being much better. I think I'll try it again next time I'm in Neuss.

I went there today with colleagues and we ordered a veal doner kebab and a chicken doner kebab. We ate the veal doner kebab on site – it was okay, worth trying, but not necessarily a repeat. I took the chicken doner home to eat later. Just as I was about to enjoy it, a fingernail-sized bone popped out at me – a complete turn-off! Having to experience something like that in this day and age is simply disappointing. One thing is clear to me: I will definitely not eat there again. The owner was also unfriendly and seemed very unpleasant. The only positive thing to mention is the lady behind the counter – she was friendly. The food also arrived relatively quickly.
