Ahmet greeted us with a smiling face as soon as we entered, and his doner kebabs were just as delicious. I recommend it to everyone. I wish you continued success.

You can safely eat this kebab without any sauces and it's still a 10/10. The veal kebab plays in its own league and is worth the price. The only thing that's annoying is standing in line and the store doesn't look clean either.

Simply the absolute best kebab in at least a 500km radius. The boss is always in a good mood and correct. The employees don't lag behind him.

I mainly became aware of this because of all the YouTubers who say that this is one of the best kebabs in Germany. So you have to say, the store is amazing and you can taste it too. Basically everything is made in-house, meat, homemade bread, etc. Everything here is very fresh, the meat tastes really intense (e.g. veal/beef), you don't actually need any sauce with it. The salad is very fresh with additional spices and herbs, but the sauces also go really well with it. The price is normal and you get a good portion. The staff are very friendly. You have to be careful when you come here, as there is sometimes a huge queue, but this is justified due to the very high quality. I'm very satisfied. Thank you 😃

After many recommendations, I ate a kebab here for the first and last time The kebab falls apart at the bottom and drips like a waterfall. In terms of taste, it's a 3/10. On the whole, it's not recommended

I was there once at the beginning of the month because I had something to do in Neuss. The kebab is so good and delicious that yesterday I drove from Cologne to Neuss with my friends just to eat this kebab again!!! It's not a trip around the world, but in Cologne there are as many kebab stalls as a dime a dozen, and we still drove all the way to Neuss because this kebab tastes great. This meat can perhaps only be found in one shop in Cologne. At the weekend there is apparently also a lamb skewer to go with the veal skewer, which we had to/were allowed to try when paying, following the owner's request. HAMMER! One of the best kebab shops I've ever eaten at. If you want something for lunch and you want it to be tasty, you should go to Oguz. The service is incredibly nice and very generous. If you are in Neuss you should definitely eat there.

The boss serves well-known friends first. The queue is long and if you want to eat there you have to queue unless you know the boss

Due to the fact that the kebab has decreased slightly since the reopening, it is 4.5 stars. The last bit of love and attention that every customer received in the old store is missing. This is (logically) lost due to the rush and new employees. Nevertheless, worlds better than any kebab in Düsseldorf (whoever says there is good kebab in Düsseldorf hasn't had a good one yet)

I love Akif Usta. Miss the good old days on Chapter Street. Touching memories of "Oguz Pizza". The father used to bake the bread himself. A very stylish and dignified person. Then the son took over. He's got gray hair now, the good guy :) Akif's kebabs are so different. The good Lord blessed the bread and sauces. Eat once, never forget. Or, to adapt an old saying from Akif and his brother, let it be said: If you are married and want good food, then go to Akif to try kebab and keep your spouse as a hobby. Nothing comes close to the good old charm of “Oguz” from Chapter Street. This is the past that never goes away.

Ambiance sucks. Nowhere does it say that the meat is halal. Taste is great. The kebab stall opposite is a lot better. Edit: The owner makes fun of Helalzertikat and now wants to put up a notice with 'Helal'. Doesn't seem trustworthy at all. I wonder if there was horses or pork in the kebab.

Recommendation: Veal kebab or lamb kebab (only on Fridays) with a little garlic sauce in the bread, onions, tomatoes, salt, spicy powder and a squeeze of lemon. Plus an Ayran as a drink.

We have probably tested more than 30 kebab shops. This one was the best of them all so far. Hygiene was great, the food was super tasty, vegetables were served, the owner's smile at the checkout was also super friendly. Price performance ratio great. You have to wait in line for 5-10 minutes, but it's definitely worth it. There are also plenty of seats in the store. Staff is super friendly and quick. You definitely know how this works. We discovered the shop through a television program and, although we weren't hungry, we enjoyed the kebabs 1x with beef and 1x with chicken. Definitely recommended 🫠

I liked its taste very much. I heard that there is lamb doner kebab on Fridays and I came here. Exquisite. Transportation is very easy.

In my opinion, Oğuz Döner, together with a kebab shop in Bonn (now you can also call it a restaurant), can be called the best kebab in Germany. Both are unique in their own way. The veal kebab tastes best (of course the chicken kebab and lamb kebab are also very tasty). The boss and the employees are always very nice and friendly, even on very stressful days. But this is what distinguishes a very good kebab shop and sets it apart from the competition. The prices are definitely justified, you get high quality meat, and everything is prepared fresh every day. Oğuz Döner deserves a much better place in the city center. There are some kebab shops in the city center that can't even begin to compete with Oğuz Döner. You could conquer Düsseldorf with your kebab, since you can only eat solid kebab in Düsseldorf, then they would finally have a good kebab. This kebab would also be a real highlight in Dormagen. Maybe you can open a shop in Düsseldorf and/or Dormagen.

At the previous shop the kebab was very bad. Today we wanted to give the new store a chance and had to turn back because of the lack of hygiene. Employees smoke in front of the door and don't wash their hands afterwards. Even put out the cigarette on the apron. Disgusting.

Tried it out today because I became aware of Oguz Döner through "Holle" and other good reviews, and was traveling in Düsseldorf for work anyway, so the detour to Neuss wasn't a trip around the world. Ordered and received a veal kebab for €8, complete with spicy. First of all: The kebab shop opposite was completely dead, I had to queue here for a good half an hour, apparently for good reason, the shop is apparently quite (over)hyped. Paid for food, received it, and then ate it in the car. I found all the ingredients to be fresh, the meat on the skewer already looked like it was in a different league than the normal donerias. First bite: Wow, missed it, nose full of yoghurt sauce ;) First real bus: Wow, the yoghurt sauce has something... a slight hint of cumin, that's good! Really! Then first I made sure I didn't drip all over myself, the kebab was really juicy. I'll say it worked, stayed clean! During the course of eating I became a little disillusioned. The meat was clearly lacking in seasoning, almost bland in taste, and where is the spiciness I ordered? This was quite concentrated in the last quarter and also had an interesting aroma with notes of cumin, which I liked. For my personal taste, I would have liked if the spiciness had been better distributed and the meat had been seasoned a little more strongly. The kebab also sat heavy in my stomach for a relatively long time, but it could also have been due to the previous meal that day. All in all, good kebab, there was no world-class taste explosion, but maybe I'm just more of a steak & pizza fan and had higher expectations than are realistic.

There is hardly a better way to prepare a kebab or Turkish cuisine in general! All skewers, no matter what type (chicken, veal or lamb) are made in-house, according to an old family recipe. Starting with the freshly purchased meat every day, through the family's own spice mix to the home-baked bread and the incomparable home-made sauces. From fresh salad to various side dishes such as sheep's cheese, jalapeños and many more... In short... There is simply no better or tastier kebab! An absolute experience!

I tried the kebab (veal) today because of the many good reviews. The taste is good, but you definitely have to like it greasier. Fat is clearly a flavor carrier. But in what I thought was a small amount of meat there were very coarse pieces of fat that bothered me personally. The kebab was also small and, as I said, a little lacking in meat. The yogurt sauce was a bit lost in the high fat content. Overall, the kebab didn't completely convince me for the price (8 euros). I'll try the lamb skewer when it's available. It has already been praised here several times.

Döner is delicious, I think the only thing missing is a wood fire.

Veal kebab on August 15, 2024 - true to the shop's motto 'eat once, don't forget', I'll be belching on this subterranean kebab for a long time! The thing was dripping with rancid fat, there was no sauce on it, almost no lettuce, nothing that would have made the €8 kebab nice or attractive - just nasty, dripping meat in a soggy bread bag, which left a rotten aftertaste even hours later has. Never again! It's a mystery to me where the good reviews come from - in contrast to the food, they are certainly "homemade".

Hey were there today July 20, 2024. Ordered three doner kebabs. So far everything is good. I wanted to tell the employee directly what I wanted. He immediately said he wouldn't keep it. I said OK, that's a lot to remember. Was called again afterwards. Now you can tell me what you would like your kebab with. He then also said I should put myself there. And see if I can keep what customers want. I found that very cheeky. I told him I work in the catering industry myself. I always have to keep everything and I know how warm it is behind the counter. He just said forget it. Employees rude and unfriendly. Something like that doesn't work. Customer is king. No matter how difficult it is and what the customers ask, you should always remain friendly. So I'll probably visit another kebab shop.

Hello everyone, Today I was with my family at Akif, or rather, at Oguz Döner in Neuss. That was the worst kebab we have ever eaten. The meat was fatty and dripping. All the YouTubers who hyped the store should visit again. There was a metal piece of skewer in my kebab that I bit into. Hello, we were very satisfied, the long drive was definitely worth it, clean, friendly staff. Parking is very easy to find next to the roads. Everything was fresh and so many customers are normal. Meat was very very tasty.

It's a good, solid kebab! Personally, I found it tasty, but not outstanding. There was a little bit of meat and salad in the kebab, so there could be more. The location is very central and easy to reach. You can eat well indoors.

Were here for the first time! Two complete kebabs and baklava to take away. The kebabs were really good and very tasty. Three different sauces is a house number! We'll be happy to come back!

I drove an extra 200 km to visit the highly acclaimed kebab shop, only to find that the shop is closed for repairs. It's incredibly disappointing that the owner didn't feel the need to add a simple comment on Google to let potential customers know. Such negligence shows a lack of respect for customers. A quick bit of information online would have saved me the long journey and disappointment. I hope the owner learns from this incident and ensures better communication with customers in the future.
