Only had drinks here. The service were really friendly. For our group of 9 people they opened the second floor. Prices are also good.

I've been to Ofenrohr, a small, unassuming restaurant, several times now, and I've found my dishes incredibly delicious every time. Highly recommended!

We went out to dinner this evening. We ordered sauerbraten and homemade aspic. It was incredibly delicious, fresh, and served by a very friendly waitress! Definitely recommended.

Thank you very much, we enjoyed the salad, the roulade, the apple strudel, the Alster 😉, and the cappuccino. The service was very friendly and approachable. If we weren't so far away, we would come back! All the best for the future!

Rarely, or rather, a very long time ago, have I experienced such unique, perfect service. At a family celebration on the first floor, the service was consistently discreet but always positively noticeable. Hot dishes were served buffet-style, all fresh, hot, and very, very tasty. The coffee for snacks was excellent, and the cake was homemade. Wow! I can therefore recommend this place without reservation.

We were in the stovepipe on March 15, 2025 after a visit to the zoo, which is in the immediate vicinity. Very warm welcome, great service, good food, feel-good atmosphere! We had Soljanka (very good), cream slices (very good), chicken burger (good) and fries (very good). Everything was visually very appealing. Conclusion: we will be back, absolutely recommended! Service exceptionally good

A small, cozy restaurant in the heart of Leipzig's Gohlis district. Home-style cooking. Everything is super fresh and delicious. I always enjoy coming here.

Unfortunately, the food isn't as good anymore. It's probably the new chef's fault. The rosemary potatoes are no longer edible, and the salmon with bell peppers isn't quite right. It's a shame. We used to eat at the Ofenrohr restaurant a lot, and it was delicious.

We had dinner at Ofenrohr on January 5, 2025, after visiting the zoo. We received a very warm welcome and prompt, extremely friendly service. We had solyanka as an appetizer, steak au four with French fries and peas, goose aspic with fried potatoes and apple remoulade, and schnitzel with French fries. All dishes were delicious and absolutely reasonable in price. We can therefore recommend Ofenrohr without reservation.

Aunque el menú no es muy extenso, la comida era excelente y la cerveza también. Es buena cocina básica alemana. Aunque en una calle principal, se encuentra lejos del centro de la ciudad. El patio exterior proporcionaba espacio para personas con perros, mientras que en el interior de dos niveles de asientos parecía suficiente.

Cute restaurant with a very friendly service staff. The food and drinks came quickly and everything was really tasty. The schnitzels were well fried and the sauce was very well seasoned. I think the red cabbage was homemade and very tasty. All in all very good restaurant.

Here, a lot of things (vegetables, potatoes, meat, etc.) are prepared and cooked fresh and we don't use ready-made products! Rare in many restaurants. Prices are absolutely fine for today's standards. Only the floor on the upper floor (very worn with lots of stains) and the chairs inside should be replaced.

The best restaurant in the wide catchment area of ​​Gohlisser Straße. Super delicious German cuisine. A lot on the plate for humane prices. Class service. The atmosphere is pleasant to linger. This is also a great place to celebrate a girls' or boys' night out. Family celebrations are perfectly possible on a separate floor. The outdoor seating area is inviting for drinks and meals in the fresh air. Highly recommended!

Had great service and really loved their schnitzel with asparagus and hollandaise sauce. Tje schnitzel was correctly cooked, had great flavor,, was both tender and crisp. Seemed fresh and made to order I also requested cranberry sauce to go with the sauce and schnitzel. Potatoes tasted great, though I couldn't help but think small buttered golden parsley potatoes would have complimented the meal better than the large potatoes. That is just my craving.

Four of us spontaneously came here on a Sunday evening in March 2024 without booking in advance. The well-kept, home-style inn (not a restaurant) in Art Nouveau style invites you to relax on two floors and, in the warm season, on the outdoor patio (street side). The service was friendly and quick, drinks and food were on the table quickly. The menu is absolutely sufficient so that even vegetarians can find something. It's a bit incomprehensible to us that you can't get the schnitzel au four instead of the steak au four. Mind you, not for money and good words! Otherwise we were satisfied and felt comfortable. The prices are okay and are worth it. Gladly again.

Ein kleines, hübsches, uriges Restaurant auf 2 Etagen. Es ist nicht sehr groß und wirkt dadurch sehr gemütlich. Sehr nettes Personal, Preise in Ordnung und eine gute Auswahl an Getränken. Wir haben nur ein paar Süßkartoffelpommes mit Quark genascht und war sehr lecker, Preis knapp 8€ und für einen Snack ein bisschen preisintensiv. Wenn man als größere Gruppe hingehen mag, sollte man aufgrund der Größe reservieren. Es gibt einen kleinen, gemütlichen Freisitz.

Wir waren am 11.11. ohne Reservierung hier und haben zum Glück noch einen Tisch bekommen. Die Gänsebrust mit Klößen war einfach nur super lecker! Volle 5 Sterne für den Service und die Küche.

Meine Kollegin aß Roulade, ich Geschnetzeltes. Frische Zutaten, sehr gut abgeschmeckt, ich hatte mir nur eine halbe Portion bestellt und anstandslos auch bekommen. Flottes, freundliches Personal, Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis passt super zu der rustikalen Küche. Wir kommen gern wieder.
